Chapter 15: Discoveries are Made
(i am coming back to this series! Also, i'm sure some people might be a little confused about the ages of the original characters, like Team RWBY and JNOR. let me just say that they are in their early to mid 30's. They each married their loved one at around 18-19, and had their child the same year. So for example, Ruby and Oscar married at 18, and had Roseline the same year, and she is 15 now, so they'd be 33. Blake and Yang married at 18 and adopted Barton at around the same time, and he's 15 now, so Yang is 35 and Blake is 34. And etc, etc, you can do the rest. I hate math. anyway, that was in case you had any confusion. Also, for anyone who wants to know, i am gonna be making a second story, and will be doing better than this one. THANK YOU SO MUCH to people who are still following this series, and i'm sorry i just left it. But it's coming back!)
Team RWBY, the young team, were in a transport ship, on their way to the science lab in Argus where Jaune and Ironwood were. They were with their parents, the original Team RWBY and Team JNOR. "I can't believe my husband would go on this dangerous mission. He's done stupid things, but this is too far, especially for something like this." Weiss said. "Don't worry, Weiss. Jaune knows what he's doing." Nora said. "Yes. Jaune wouldn't do something this reckless without an important reason. We'll figure out what is going on when we get there." Ren said. Weiss looked down. "Come on, Weiss cream. There's no way things would get this bad." Yang said. "Please don't call me that. I'm not in the mood." she said back. Yang felt a little bad. "Yang, please keep the nicknames to a minimum, ok? This is really important. This could mean another war." Blake said. "Indeed." Ozpin said, through Oscar. "Mr. Arc did sound very distressed, but i do hope that he is not in any danger." "I'm sure he isn't, Ozpin. He would have told us." Ruby said. The children were staying quiet. They were feeling very guilty for everything that had been happening, and felt like they were the cause of everything, after they had tried to save Team SSSN back when they first met Peter. "Kids? What's wrong?" Ren asked. "...i feel like this is my fault." Barton said. "What? Honey, what do you mean?" Yang asked. "It's just…..i feel like if i had just held back the urge to fight him, tried to talk to him, he wouldn't have excelled his plans this far. I mean, he's gone from using science to create new Grimm to turning humans and Faunus into a hybrid Grimm species. All in a matter of months…" Yang looked at Ozpin, and he nodded. "Kiddo, do you realize how much has happened when we were your age? We fought in an underground city and above said city against an army of Grimm, fought more Grimm in the entire city of Vale, losing one of our friends, traveled hundreds of miles on foot to gather the relics, all while fighting our worst enemies and Grimm, and united the kingdoms together and defeated our enemies, and were able to bring the the gods back to bless us all with extended life…" she flipped her hair back. "And made our bodies age slower, keeping us beautiful for our extended lives." Barton chuckled a little at this. "All in a matter of a year. I mean, look at all of us. We're in our mid 30's and we look like we're in our young 20's or late teen years. We did all of this to keep our family together, save the world, and we did that while making the same mistakes you did, and learned from them. We'll get through this, honey." Barton smiled a little. "Thanks mom…." the pilot turned to them. "We're approaching the laboratory now." "Good. everyone, keep on your guard. You never know what is going to happen." the ship landed outside the laboratory, next to the other ships. They got out of the ship, and approached the doors to the lab. "Alright, kids. You all stay out here and keep watch. We'll be right back with Jaune and Ironwood." Oscar said. William nodded and he sits down on the ground. Barton and Roseline lean against the wall, and Yolanda sits next to William. The 2 teams walk into the lab. "Jaune? Ironwood? Are you here?" Weiss called. "There doesn't seem to be anyone here." Ren said. "Split up." Ruby said, and she and her team headed into the back as Oscar, Ren, and Nora walked down into the basement. "Jaune? Ironwood?!" Nora yelled. Oscar and Ren covered their ears. "Jeez, Nora. not so loud. We'll find them." when they reach the basement floor, they see all of the laboratory equipment was completely destroyed, computers wrecked, papers ripped apart, but the grisliest was the bodies on the floor. Ironwood and Jaune's soldiers. "Oh my god…" Ozpin took over and knelt down to the bodies, and saw that they were ripped apart, claw and teeth marks on them. "Who could have caused this?" "I won't let you kill her!" Jaune's voice came out of the door that was across from them. "Huh? Jaune?" Nora said. "Get out of my way, Arc! I am your general, and you will obey me! Stand aside! This monster must be put out of her misery!" "Wait, please no! I can't control it!" Ozpin stood up. "That sounded like Ironwood." "And that woman….it….." Ren said, before he ran to the door. "Ren, no!" Nora yelled. Ren kicked the door in and looked into the room. He saw Ironwood and Jaune were grappling each other, Jaune trying to keep Ironwood from shooting. But they both stopped and looked at the others. "Ren? Nora? Oscar?" Jaune said. "Ozpin?" Ironwood said. The 3 looked at what Ironwood was trying to shoot, and their eyes widened. The woman stood up. She was completely naked, her skin all black like a Grimm, with white lines across her body, her sharp fingernails and teeth covered in blood, and…..her red hair was wet and damp, her eyes shining brightly…."Please…..i didn't mean to…..i-i can't control…...it…" she said. "brothers…...Pyrrha?!" Ren yelled.
