Third POV:
Marinette was sitting at the back of the class, quietly sketching a new design idea she had for the upcoming spring fashion line. Holding onto her pencil tightly, Marinette tried to concentrate in the ridiculously loud classroom, when all of a sudden the noise in the class came to a halt and all Marinette could hear was silence. Usually Marinette would be grateful for the silence but ever since a student by the name of Lila Rossi came into the class, silence never meant well or good things.
Marinette looked up from her sketchbook and saw the whole class staring at her, some in anger and some in shock and confusion, Marinette raised her eyebrow and stared back at them but no one made a noise, she shrugged and went back to her sketchbook to continue sketching her idea. The silence did not last long, as soon as Marinette had looked back down to her sketchbook, Alya started shouting accusation at Marinette,
"How could you have done that? Why do you hate Lila so much?" Alya's eyes widened in anger in the middle of her tirade against Marinette, Marinette being so used to her ex-best friend shouting accusations at her merely raised her head and gave them a glance before going back to her design, seemingly not caring about the class anymore.
"Yea! How could you dudette? Totally not cool man" Nino said folding his arm at the end of his speech, Marinette rolled her eyes and closed her sketchbook before looking at the class and interlocking her fingers with each other,
"Instead of shouting at me about what I have done, maybe one of you could, oh I don't know, actually tell me what I did?" Marinette said softly, tired of all the things Lila had lied about her,
"Oh don't pretend you don't know what we're talking about, how could you spread rumours about Lila to Jagged Stone?" Alya asked angrily, fire burning in her eyes.
"To think we were actually close friends" Alya scoffed, while the class was nodding their head in agreement Lila was standing behind them with a smirk on her face.
Marinette and the class were so into the heated debate that they didn't notice a certain model standing at the classroom door, Adrien gripped his bag's strap feeling the anger for his friend overcome him, he quickly calmed down when he felt a small hand being placed on his shoulder. He turned around to see Chloe behind him and gave her a small smile for thanks which was quickly returned,
"You know I kinda agree with you, I wonder how I was ever your friend" Marinette wondered out loud,
"How was I ever friend with a person who back stabs her best friend in the back, a person who don't live for the truth and only believe what they want to, just because the stories being said are more interesting" Marinette continued, she chuckled emotionlessly while shaking her head at them. RIsing her head to face the class, they all could see the fire burning in her eyes and her aura had changed entirely in the span of seconds. By now Adrien and Chloe who were standing at the door were afraid that Marinette might cause something to happen or worse an akuma.
The whole class looked in shock at how fast Marinette's emotion was changing when all of a sudden a black colour butterfly came flattering in, which could only meant one thing
"MARI! AKUMA!" Adrien shouted at the bluenette, rushing towards her with Chloe, if it weren't for the appearance of the akuma everyone would have been shocked at Adrien and Chloe calling Marinette, Mari. Adrien and Chloe tried to reach Marinette before the akuma could come into contact with her but it was too late, the akuma had already entered the pencil the bluenette was still holding onto.
A magnified and seductive voice sounded from around the room
"Filled with so much hurt and anger, you've been dubbed jealous because of someone's lies. Revealer, I am Hawk Moth, I am here to grant you a power, to be able to reveal everyone's deepest darkest secrets, but in return you will have to bring me Ladybug and Chat Noir's miraculous" Marinette seemed to struggle with herself before collapsing on the chair beneath her,
"Whatever powers you give me, you won't tempt me enough to join you so you can take your power and shove it up your fucking ass and fuck off" Marinette said out loud trying to fight the control Hawk Moth have over her
"What? No one had ever refused my powers before, no matter, the more you fight against my control the stronger you will be" Marinette was sweating by now with how hard she was trying to fight off Hawk Moth.
The whole class was looking at Marinette in shock and awe, no one has ever been able to stop themselves from being akumatized but Marinette was doing just that. Chloe sat down beside Marinette
"Come on Mari, fight him off, I know you can do this. You are the only person in this entire town that won't be tempted with power" Chloe said to Marinette. Meanwhile, Tikki who was in Marinette's purse was panicking
"The more she fights against him, the weaker she becomes. Oh no what should I do?" Tikki thought to herself
"Think Tikki, think!" Tikki flew around in Marinette's purse, suddenly Tikki stopped and with determination in her eyes, she flew out of Marinette's purse, ignoring the gasps of surprise surrounding her.
"Adrien, Chloe where's Plagg and Pollen?" Tikki asked urgently, right after she finished her sentence, Plagg and Pollen came flying out of Adrien's jacket and Chloe's purse respectively earning more gasps of surprises.
"We can't let her continue fighting it, the more she's fighting against it the more dangerous it is for her because the longer she is fighting the weaker she is getting" Tikki said to Adrien and Chloe
"I know this is a really hard thing to watch so I need you guys to transform and talk her into destroying the akumatized item and once it's destroy, I need you guys to contain it until Ladybug can cleanse it" Adrien and Chloe nodded to what Tikki had said
"Pollen! Buzz on!"
"Plagg! Claws out!" Adrien and Chloe transformed into their respective alter egos, ignoring their classmates' presence and surprise, they rushed forward to help Marinette.
The class looked on in shock as three of their former friends were actually the city's heroes
"Mari! Come back to us! You need to break the pencil, come on, I know you can do it!" Queen Bee or Chloe said sitting on the right side of Marinette,
"Come on Mari! You promised me that you will give me some more macarons today after school!" Chat Noir said on the left side of Marinette
"MEOWCH!" Chat shouted in pain glaring playfully at Queen Bee, Queen Bee glared back at Chat and said
"Is that all you think about, you mangy cat!" Both heroes focused their attention back to Marinette. Marinette stood up suddenly and raised her arm which was holding onto the pencil and swiftly brought it down on her thigh, breaking the pencil into two causing the akuma to fly out of the pencil.
"I got it!" Chat shouted as he threw his bell at the akuma which promptly enclosed the escaping akuma in the bell, Queen Bee went to help Marinette in standing up as she was feeling faint and she was also looking pale.
"T...T...Tikki, spots on" Marinette mustered enough strength to say the catch-phrase, transforming her into the city's hero, Ladybug.
"Time to de-evilize" Ladybug released her yoyo and swing it outwards, toward the akuma Chat had just released from his bell
"Gotcha, bye bye little butterfly" Ladybug said as she tapped the surface of her yoyo, releasing the cleansed butterfly. Ladybug immediately collapsed onto the ground, releasing her transformation.
"Mari!" Queen Bee and Chat Noir shouted as they both released their transformation, changing back to Chloe and Adrien and rushed towards Marinette followed by their kwamis.
"I'm ok, really guys" Marinette said weakly looking at her two partners, Chloe leaned forward and softly kissed Marinette's temple before helping her up with Adrien. The class was undoubtedly in shock and confusion.
"What. The. Heck. was that' Alya asked, being the first one out of the entire class to snap out of her reverie, Chloe looked at the entire class enraged, making sure that Marinette was safely in Adrien's arms and won't fall over before stalking forward to face the class,
"All of you have no right to even talk to us. Best friend of Ladybug my ass, as if Marinette would ever want to be your friend, you say Marinette's fashion sense is so called 'trash'? Well she caught the attention of Adrien's father, Gabriel Agreste and my mother, Audrey Bourgeois, so are you insulting the top fashion designer and fashion magazine director of their taste?" Chloe spat out, the entire class wanted to defend Lila when Chloe spoke again
"And you, saved Jagged Stone's kitten? Puh-lease, Jagged Stone never had a cat he had Fang since like forever, ridiculous, utterly ridiculous. You know Jagged Stone because you save his cat? Please, Mari has him on speed dial and Jagged forces her to call him uncle Jagged." by now the entire class was starting to realize that Lila had been lying to them all along and Lila had started to look paler and paler by the second.
However, Chloe wasn't done yet, not after all the things the class and Lila had put her sweet and caring girlfriend through,
"Oh and can't forget that one time where you lied to Adrien about how you were the miraculous holder of the fox? And after getting spoken down in front of Adrien by Marinette, you got akumatized and became Volpina?" Chloe said out loud, chuckling darkly
"She. Said. What" Alya sounded each of her words, tone filled with venom while Nino looked at Lila in rage. Chloe turned around wanting to leave but caught Marinette's nod, the three of them then softly conversed within themselves. Chloe stood up and turned back around and walked back towards where Nino and Alya were both standing at, Chloe held out her hand and two familiar boxes appeared out of thin air.
"Nino Lahiffe and Alya Cesaire, the both of you have shown to the current guardian of the miraculous box, Ladybug, that you do not have what it takes to continue being a miraculous holder. Therefore, we will need the both of you to return your miraculous" Alya and Nino stood there jaw hanging open, until Alya snapped her jaw shut,
"No way, what rights do you have to call us to give our miraculous up, in fact out of all of us, aren't you the most underserved of the miraculous?" Alya said defensively
"Don't. You. Ever. Dare talk to my girlfriend like that" Marinette said suddenly appearing out of nowhere in front of Alya and Nino, the class gasps at the revelation of the girls relationship status.
"G...G...Girlfriend?" Alya stuttered out
"Yes, girlfriend and if anybody have a problem with that, I frankly don't care and all of you can go fuck yourself" Marinette ground out, the whole class stared at Alya, Nino and Marinette waiting for anyone of them to make a move.
"I'm not giving up my miraculous!" Alya said defiantly, Nino nodded at what Alya had said. Marinette sighed and took the boxes out of Chloe's hand,
"I, Ladybug, the current guardian of the miraculous box, deemed the miraculous holder Nino Lahiffe and Alya Cesaire, unsuitable for the miraculous." a golden light seemed to glow around Marinette, Alya and Nino.
"Wayzz, Trixx, return!" Marinette said, the class watched as an orange and green blur flew towards the closed boxes and Nino's bracelet and Alya's necklace disappeared with them. Marinette looked at the class and then Alya and Nino in disappointment and sighed
"Adrien, can you help us give our paperwork and then meet Chloe and I at the bakery please?" Marinette asked Adrien pleadingly,
"Sure Mari, as long as I get to bring Kagami with me!" Adrien replied shouldering his bag.
"Wait, paperwork for what?" Rose asked timidly,
"Transfer papers more specifically, we feel it's best if we get out of this toxic environment" Adrien said stonically, face blank while speaking to the class, a complete change on how he was speaking to Marinette and Chloe.
"Oh and before I forget, Lila, you are being sued for slandering, harassment and sexual harassment and Alya, you are being sued for slandering and harassment, courtesy of Gabriel Agreste, Audrey Bourgeois, Jagged Stone. You have been served." The trio walked out of the classroom after placing the stack of lawsuit papers on the table, being extremely proud of themselves and leaving a group of shock students in their wake
