Introduction
Edward leaves and Bella decides to return home. As she is not who everyone thinks she is. She is here in Forks as a break from duties and too maybe find a mate. When Emmett comes back her decision is clear. What will the Cullen's, Wolves and Allies do a few years later when the Volturi come and what is Olympus's business in this situation?…
Prologue
Bella had too say she was glad that Edward left her. But she wasn't a fan off how he did it. Leaving her in the middle off the woods and the words he used was despicable. And how the WHOLE family left with him mad her furious.
She shouldn't be treated like this.
Not because she was thought to be a mortal. But because she was a woman.
She was actually a Goddess the daughter of Zeus and Hera and Princess of the Skies. She had come too the mortal world for a break and maybe too find love. But it didn't exactly go as planned.
First she had to change her whole appearance too be plain Jane just too fit in.
Second she had too act more mortal add the blushing and tripping.
Third act all innocent and shy.
Fourth date Edward when she was actually attracted too someone else in his family.
Fifth go along with his and the Pixie's controlling ways.
Sixth let the Vampires and Mortals push her around.
Seventh heal at a human rate.
Oh and a few things she was pissed about where.
One not being able too access the full extent of her powers.
Two not being able to contact her family.
Three was that Edward controlled every aspect off her life.
Four Alice watched EVERY aspect off her life.
Five that she had too let the stick up bitch Rosalie walk all over her.
Six she had too let Carlisle and Esme act like they were her parents.
Seven put up with Edward trying to turn her into a perfect 1900's bride.
Eight she didn't have quick access too her weapons.
Nine James attacking her and putting her in hospital that she had too disguise herself more mortal then she acted that meant she had too heal human.
Ten Alice dressing her in whatever SHE wanted.
Eleven them making decisions she didn't want.
Twelve the way Edward disregarded her feelings or anyone but himself or Alice's feelings.
Thirteen the way that Edward JUST dumped her.
And Fourteen the fact she didn't get too say goodbye too the two Cullen's she could stand.
There was a few things she enjoyed through.
Having mortal friends.
Learning about how the mortals went about their lives.
Making friends with Emmett and Jasper. More Emmett through.
Having no responsibilities.
Having no one rely on your for War Council or Training.
Emmett making time too spend time with her in the hospital or at her mortal home when she was in a cast.
Playing prank wars with Emmett. (Which she used too do with Apollo and Hermes).
Watching what the prink would call inappropriate movies with Emmett.
Every moment she spent hanging out with Emmett.
And every time she disobeyed the Prick, Midget and the Vamp Parents.
So not many things she enjoyed.
So what was actually keeping her in Forks? She really couldn't see herself staying.
"Fucking Edward Cullen…Fucking 100 year old virgin…Fucking Cullen Family…", Bella mutters pacing her mortal bedroom
"What was that Bellsy?" a voice asks from the window
She spins around too find Emmett clinging too her window edge.
"Emmett?" Bella asks in disbelief
"In the flash!" he jokes jumping in
Bella flings herself at him and hug him tight. And feels his arms wrap around her tight too and too hers surprise he buries his head in her hair.
"I missed you too Belly", Emmett mumbles
"What are you doing here?" Bella asks pulling back smiling as Emmett didn't let her go.
"I couldn't leave you behind", Emmett replies honestly
"What about Rosalie?" Bella asks curiously
"She is not who I thought she was. And besides she can't treat MY best friend like she did", Emmett replies
"I'm your best friend?" Bella asks in surprise
"Of course. Nobody has interested me or paid enough attention too me or took me seriously till you came along", Emmett replies honestly
"Of course I take you seriously your smarter then anyone gives you credit for", Bella replies
"I wish others could see that", Emmett replies sadly
Bella decides right then that he needed to learn the truth about her. And if he wanted he could return with her to her home.
"Emmett we need too talk", Bella says pulling him too her bed
"What about?" Emmett asks
"I am not who everyone believes I am", Bella replies cryptically
"I kind off figured", Emmett admits
Bella raises an eyebrow at him. And she could tell Emmett would be blushing if he could. Bella wasn't surprised through he picked up on how different she was. Emmett was smart. But people couldn't see past his goofy fun-loving side.
"You act older than you appear. Your wiser than your age. Sometimes your graceful as a lion. You don't call Charlie or Renee Dad or Mum. You don't even appear too be that attached too them and they you. When others are not looking your make mores in sport and so on that when people watch you can't do. And you appear…", Emmett hesitant
"And appear?" Bella prompts
"I…daydream you could say off your looking different. Standing tall and proud and well regally. I just sense your not meant too be here", Emmett replies looking sheepish
"Mmm", Bella hums
"What does that mean?" Emmett asks
"I think Emmett you need too make a choice come with me and learn the answers too the questions going through your mind or go and be with the Cullen's. If you come with me your won't be seeing them again in a hurry", Bella tells him giving him a choice.
"Can I tell you the truth Bells?" Emmett asks
"Of course", Bella replies
"I haven't been happy with the Cullen's for a while. I have been more happy with you then I have been in decades", Emmett replies, "So if it is ok with you. I'm with you all the way Whirlwind"
Bella smiles at the nickname. She remembered how she got what. She had actually used the wind too hit a baseball in Gym. Wanting too shut Edward up. It went a little far with her wind powers and she had whirled slightly with the wind. And she remembered Emmett seemed too be able too see it and remember it through the Mist.
"Have you got anything you want to bring with you?" Bella asks him
Emmett shrugs, "No. As things I have kept from my human life have disappeared"
Bella's eyes narrow.
"What do you mean?" Bella asks
"It is just I have…had pictures off my parents and friends and some items from them. But they disappeared decades ago", Emmett replies
"Emmett do you want the items back?" Bella asks gently
"How?" Emmett asks
"I have…gifts. You must understand Emmy that I didn't hide everything on purpose but under necessary and rules. But because off how good you have been too me. My secrets will become known too you. But first you would like these items correct?" Bella asks her accent slightly changing
"I would", Emmett confirms not worried about secrets.
Everybody had them. And kept them for different reasons. Some selfish and some not. And he bet that Bella didn't keep her secrets for selfish reasons.
Bella nods and closes her eyes and waves her hands and concentrates on Emmett's items and locating the Lost possessions.
Suddenly a dirty tin box appears in her hands.
Emmett's eyes widen.
"Here you go Em. Everything that had been taken. It was located together buried", Bella replies handing him the tin box.
Emmett shakily takes it and opens it finding the photos of lost memories and items from his childhood he had been able too save.
"Thanks you Belly", Emmett chokes out seeing the picture off his parents.
"It was an honour too repay you for your kindness and it was nothing at all for someone selfless and underappreciated like you", Bella replies
"Would you like too see my parents Bells?" Emmett asks her
"I would", Bella replies smiling
She learns over and looks at the photo and freezes she knew that man. She meant she KNEW, KNEW him.
"That's my Mama Louisa and my Dad Herm…"
"Hermes", Bella states shocked too the core
Emmett's eyes widen at Bella.
"How did you…? You're a demigod?!" Emmett blurts out
"Not exactly Em. But you're a demigod?" Bella asks
"I am and a legacy of three", Emmett admits
Now that was a surprise.
"Who?" Bella asks curiously
"Well I am Emmett Matthew McCarty, son of Hermes, legacy of Ares, Bellona and…Athena", Emmett says bowing too her formally
"Nice too meet you son of Hermes. I am Lady Temperest, daughter of Zeus and Hera, Goddess of Wild Storms, Winds, Weather, Disasters, Flight, Electricity, Enforcement, Investigation, Weaponry, Combat, Iron Will, Duals, Swordsmanship, Armour, Warriors, Lost and Found. Princess of the Skies and Member of the Olympian Council and as it appears your Aunt by Godly blood", Bella/Temperest says bowing formally too him too.
Emmett was shocked Bella was a Goddess? She was family? Well not really as the Godly DNA didn't count.
He goes too kneel before the Goddess like he had been taught too do but she stops him.
"None of that", she chides, "I am not like Father. And for you my dearest friend I award you with the knowledge you don't EVER have too bow down too me and the right too be treated as my equal"
"Why come to Forks? Why act mortal?" Emmett asks curiously
"Because I wanted a break. With my domains Emmett I am leaned on heavily. I am my Fathers sword and extension of his authority. I just wanted time too find someone that would love me for me", Bella/Temperest replies
"That actually doesn't sound like a bad idea", Emmett replies giving her a smile
She laughs freely, "It does doesn't it?"
"But why Eddie?" Emmett asks growling at little at Edward's name
"Because I sensed the need to be close to your family. And wanted too keep an eye on Vampires. I was doing a favor for the creators of your species", she replies
"Why are they?" Emmett asks curiously
"Hades and Aphrodite", Bella/Temperest replies smirking
"Really?" Emmett asks in disbelief
"Yeah they were drunk and one thing lead too another and they created Vampires", she replies, "I mean they were drunk even for Godly standards. They didn't even remember creating them until one of Athena's children and Hunter of Artemis was turned. So I was sent to investigate and I found out the truth. Trust me it ended up in a huge brawl in the Olympus Throne Room, a broken nose, arrows in very sensitive places and a broken well you know…"
She smiles remembering Aphrodite getting a broken nose and a few other broken bones from Athena and Artemis. As well as the arrows Artemis sent into Aphrodite's chest and the arrows too Hades's privates. As well as how they BOTH broke a very sensitive part of Hades's anatomy.
Emmett winces and smirks. Those two (Athena and Artemis) where two you should never piss off.
"I actually warned Father that he and the others really didn't want to know who created Vampires. He said I must tell and I told him 'Don't blame me for what happens and I am not going to clean up this mess'", Bella/Temperest says
"So what ended up happening?" Emmett asks wanting the full story.
"Ended up with Persephone pissed that Hades's didn't have the equipment to please her for a while. So Hades's was effectively sleeping on the couch for a few years even after begging. Apollo choking on popcorn due too laughter. Demeter being even more angry at her brother/son-in-Law and tried too strangle him with vines. Hermes and Poseidon taking beats on the fight and not making even a single more too break it up. Dionysus being knocked out off his Throne unconscious and breaking his 200 year-old wine bottle he had in his hand. Ares getting a punch to the groin as he tried too pull Athena off Aphrodite. Hephaestus getting a stray arrow too the thigh when he tried too get in between Artemis and Aphrodite. Which he should have known better then too do. Then he got a stray punch by Ares knocking him into Nike, Hercules and Enyo who were observing the meeting and then THEY started a fight", Bella/Temperest says laughing as she tells the story.
Emmett roared with laughter oh he could imagine that. But it would have been great too witness.
"How did your Father take it?" Emmett asks chuckling
"He yelled trying to calm them down. When that didn't work he slammed his Lightning Bolt into the ground which DID get their attention for all of 5 seconds. Then he basically groaned banging his head on the back off his throne. And looked too me and Mother in exasperated asking US too break up the fight. Which we weren't even going to get involved in. We ended up walking out with Auntie Hestia. Yet for the next few hours there was a lot off destruction and noise from the Throne Room and wild storms around the world. Which I DID try too stop. In the end the brawl ended up with a group of Gods basically grounded, broken bones. An infirmary full of patients that Apollo didn't seem too be interest in treating as he kind of was a patient himself getting on the wrong side of an already fuming Artemis as he couldn't stop laughing while telling people HE taught her everything she knew that went down so well that ended up with him being a patient as well. Also they needed to beg Hecate too use enough Mist to cover the destruction that happened in the Mortal world, which Hecate was happy too do as long as she got to hold the story as blackmail material, Father sleeping on the couch for NOT being able too take control off the situation and the need off a new Throne Room. And ended up with Father having to acknowledge the 'I told you so' I said too him", she finishes her story laughing
Emmett was roaring with laughter as Bella finished and she was leaning on him caught up in her own laughter.
Emmett looked at Bella/Temperest and found she looked amazing when she was laughing so freely. She was brave, amazing, funny, beautiful, smart, witty and so much more. Anyone would be a fool not too take notice off her. But he realised that just like him she went unnoticed and overlooked by her Godly family and now with his no his former family.
"Why are you looking at me like that?" she asks catching her breath at his look.
Emmett leans in and kisses her lips and he was pleasantly surprised when he felt her kiss him back.
"Your amazing", Emmett states as he pulls back.
"What?" she asks dazed from the loving kiss she just received.
"Your not just amazing but brave, loyal, funny, beautiful, smart, compassionate, witty and more importantly more real you could say then those I have met. In any Mortal, Demigod, Vampire, Immortal and all those others. Everyone is a fool not too see that and…", Emmett tells her honestly
Bella/Temperest blushes deeply at his words.
"And…?" she prompts
"And I love every bit off you. And I don't care whether your Mortal or God", Emmett replies pulling out his courage.
Bella/Temperest puts a hand too stroke his face.
"And you Em are just the same. But also are more humble and honest than any other Vampire, Demigod or God I have ever met. I won't change you for the world. And I love you too more then anyone I have had before", Bella/Temperest replies just as honest
Emmett lets a beaming smile come across his face showing his cute dimples. He leans in and kisses her passionately. He knew she wasn't breakable. And he would never treat her as such.
"Mine", Emmett growls with lust
Bella/Temperest doesn't stop him as he starts taking her clothes off and she takes his off. They start too make hot, passionate love.
"My Goddess", Emmett gasps
"My Heart", Bella/Temperest replies as she reaches her peak.
Emmett felt a serge off something go through him and he felt dizzy. Before he knew it he blacked out.
When he came too he looked at the naked Goddess besides him and found her in her true form. Long black hair with a dark blue stripe in it hanging messily. Her blue/black eyes sparkling in happiness. Her body more curvy, toned and flawless then before. She was glowing in the afterglow off sex.
"What happened? Where are we?" Emmett asks groggily realising they weren't in her bedroom in Forks anymore.
"You my Heart are now in Olympus. Actually too be more precise your in MY Temple and Palace. After you passed out I teleported us here…", she replies smiling widely
He heard her voice had changed slightly. More musical but richer.
"I can't pass out", Emmett interrupts confused
Temperest laughs her laughter sounding like chimes and made him feel warm inside.
"Oh my Heart you did. But off no fault of your own", she replies
He looks at her confused.
"When you made love too me and we transferred fluids an unexpected event happened. You my heart began too change", Temperest tells him
"Change?" Emmett asks
"Yes. Your no longer a vampire my Heart", she replies
"What am I?" Emmett asks
"You're a God. You have a heartbeat and your eyes are deep pools of chocolate. You kept your muscles. But instead of a vampire aura you have a immortal one", she replies looking at him with only love in her eyes.
"How…?" he stutter putting a hand on his chest and feeling his heart beating once again.
"I believe that the Fates have a plan for you my Heart. Or because I'm a Goddess and we mated out of pure love. That I unintentionally turned you back. Or it could be a combination off the two. As Vampires have never made pure love with each other before", Temperest replies explaining her theory
That she has been working on for hours while he was unconscious. Besides getting them out off Forks with no fuss and their possessions.
"So I am like you?" Emmett asks her
She smirks, "Not quite yet…"
Emmett follows Temperest through the streets off Olympus. It was amazing he had never been too Olympus in his Mortal life and now seeing it at its height was amazing.
Temperest was enjoying watching her love marvel at Olympus. It was truly spectacular for someone who had never been too the Home of the Gods before.
They arrived at a pair off double doors.
"Welcome my Heart to the Hall of the Gods", Temperest says flinging the grand doors open.
Emmett's jaw drops seeing the 15 Thrones with 14 Giant people in them.
"Wow your huge", Emmett comments
Laughter was heard from Temperest and several off the Gods.
"You have picked someone who can speak his mind even too the most powerful beings in the Universe. A good pick my daughter", Hera chuckles
Temperest laughs, "It is one of the many qualities I love in him Mother. He is much better than those he used to believe were family"
Emmett's eyes widen at Temperest's words.
"My fellow councilmen, my Father, Mother, Siblings, Aunts, Uncles and fellow immortals may I present my intended and love Emmett Matthew McCarty, son of Hermes and legacy of Ares, Bellona and Athena! I call now on the Fates for judgement!" Temperest calls in a strong, mighty and powerful voice
A flash of light and the Three Fates appear. Emmett feels like they were looking into his soul.
"Your Fate is woven and made son of Hermes. You have shone great love and loyalty for Lady Temperest and good judgement and intentions", a Fate states
"All previous bonds too the so-called Olympic Coven have been severed", a Fate declares/tells
"So you are now declared before the Council of 15 the Lord Emmett, God of Senses, Six Sense, Merriment, Enjoyment, Jokes, Games, Laughter, Misdirection, Misleading, Imagination, Unnoticed and the Unseeable. Husband of Lady Temperest! All Hail Lord Emmett…", a Fate declares
"…and Lady Temperest, wife of Lord Emmett", the Fates declare together
Temperest smiles widely and flings herself into Emmett's waiting arms kissing him passionately too the clapping council and immortals that had seemed to gather from her calling off the Fates for judgement.
Temperest and Emmett were in their own little world as they celebrated the love they have found in each other. And celebrated the loss of the loneliness they had never realised they felt leave them. And peace fills them.
But peace never lasts for long does it?
