After that rather eventful first feed, with the hunger in my throat finally sated, I had gone back up to my quarters and changed into my pyjamas. I know what you're thinking, vampires don't sleep, but it was more out of habit than anything. With this whole new world I'd been flung into, I at least had some routine.

Lying on my front in a black t-shirt and grey pyjama shorts with stars on them, I decided to close my eyes, at least temporarily.

"Uh, dude, what are you doing?" Santiago asked from where he was sitting on my sofa, Renata close beside him. The pair of them had been acting weird recently but I assumed it was probably nothing.

"What does it look like I'm doing?" I mumbled into the throw blanket my face was pressed up against, "I'm sleeping."

He sighed. "Don't bother, you can't."

"Well I can die trying," I pouted stubbornly.

"Again, you can't dude," he said.

I groaned and rolled over onto my back. "Why are you like this? Do you really have to just come in here and burst my bubble like that?"

"It's what I do best," he shrugged, which earned a light giggle from Renata. Weird.

"Your hair looks nice by the way, Mistress," Renata complimented.

I looked at her with an eyebrow raised. "Um…Mistress?"

"Well, now that you're a vampire, you officially one of our leaders, Mistress," she emphasised the new title.

"Renata, just call me Eli."

She gasped dramatically. "But that would be improper."

"Give it a rest," I suddenly had an idea, "As your leader, I command you to drop the title of 'Mistress' permanently."

She bowed her head with a smirk. "As you wish, Eli."

"Thanks. Now, if you don't mind, I'm off to brush my teeth."

Within an instant, I was standing in front of the sink, electric toothbrush in hand. It was only then that I really had the chance to examine my new appearance in front of the mirror.

Every little pimple I was dealing with, every blackhead, gone. Curious as to how far my transformation had really gone, I pulled back part of my top to look for my birthmark, but that too had disappeared with my mortality. Apparently, I'd also somehow lost a little weight and gained quite a nice figure. One thing I really wouldn't adjust to easily, though, was my ruby red eyes, which still didn't fail to startle me.

Renata tilted her head to the side to peer over at me with a look of concern. "Eli, maybe that's not such a-"

Her sentence was cut off suddenly which was when Santiago continued. "What Renata was going to say was that brushing your teeth, especially with an electric toothbrush, is not such a bad idea."

I placed a thin sliver of white toothpaste on the bristles. "That's exactly what I thought."

When I placed the toothbrush in my mouth and turned it on, I suddenly realised what Renata was trying to warn me about. Due to my teeth being much sharper than before, it managed to somehow break away the plastic of the toothbrush into fine dust particles in my mouth.

I quickly turned off the brush in a panic and began frantically spitting light blue plastic dust in the sink. "SANTIAGO!" I yelled.

Renata was instantly by my side, pulling my hair out of the way and quickly tying it up with a hair tie. "Santiago, that was mean," she frowned and filled a small plastic cup with water.

Pushing my head over the basin, she instructed me to stick my tongue out and began pouring the water into my mouth. Due to vampires not drinking water, I didn't swallow but instead watched as the clear, plastic filled liquid flowed out of my mouth and down the drain. Santiago was howling on the side, and flipping him off only seemed to fuel him.

"What on earth is happening in here?"

Through the mirror, I noticed Aro standing just behind me, kindly holding a strand of my hair out of my face. Renata looked beyond embarrassed as she finished cleaning out the plastic and scrambled out of my room, quickly followed by Santiago.

I spit a few more plastic pieces out and flushed them down the drain. "I brushed my teeth."

Aro sighed, trying to hold back a laugh at the state I was in. "Why?"

"Santiago said it was a good idea," I spit one final piece into my palm, "See? That is what's left of my toothbrush."

"I suppose I should have warned you, cara mia. I actually came here to take you down to the throne room. There is simply something we must talk about."

I froze worriedly. "What is it?"

He clearly saw my distress and quickly pulled me into his arms reassuringly. "Do not worry, bellissima, it is nothing too serious. We simply have not had a chance to discuss everything since you only woke up a mere few hours ago."

"Oh, well that's fine then. Last one there sucks ass!" I called behind me and zoomed out of the room barefoot as quickly as I could.

My new speed was definitely something I would need to get used to, but somehow I found myself arriving in the throne room in less than five seconds. The room was empty aside from us apparently, which was a little weird considering there were usually at least a few guards around. A second later, Aro appeared beside me with a defeated expression.

I pointed at his frown tauntingly. "Ha, sucker!"

"Do not make me have to point out your language for the second time today," Marcus scolded lightly from his throne.

"What language? Can't I say the word 'sucker'?" I sat myself sideways on his lap.

"I would prefer it if you did not repeat the word again, Eliana."

"But it's not a swear word! Before we came down, I said to Aro that the last one here sucks ass!" I gestured to Aro exasperatedly, who was now sat comfortably in his throne and watching this conversation with amusement, probably because he was the least bothered by my vocabulary out of the three of them.

"And here she goes again," he muttered under his breath, but at least I could hear it this time due to my enhanced hearing.

"You really have a problem with the word 'sucker'?" I bit my lip to stop myself from laughing.

"Yes, please do not repeat it again."

I glanced at him with a mischievous glint in my eyes and pursed my lips. "Sucker, sucker, sucker, sucker-"

My sentence was interrupted when Marcus hastily moved me so that I was sat on his throne and he was hovering above me with my hands pinned above my head. "Did you want to repeat that again, tesoro?" he narrowed his eyes almost threateningly, clearly attempting and failing to intimidate me.

I fought to hold back a giggle. "Yeah, I kinda do. Sucker."

Instantly, although at least I was able to tell what was happening now, Marcus lifted me up bridal style and laid me down on my back on the marble floor so that he was hovering above me. His lips crashed against mine while his hands entangled themselves in my hair. I placed my hands on his shoulders, pulling him closer, and I found myself softly moaning into the kiss, causing a deep growl to sound from his chest.

"Brother? Can it wait?" Aro's voice chimed in lightly.

We both turned our heads to the side simultaneously and our gazes locked on the slightly jealous raven-haired brother. With little effort at all thanks to my newborn state, I was easily able to roll us over so that I was the one on top, straddling Marcus' hips.

"Just one of the perks of being stronger than you," I giggled.

He chuckled and his hands moved to grasp my hips but I lightly slapped him away and wiggled my ass against him slightly which I knew would frustrate him. "You can wait, babe," I teased.

Unimpressed by my response, he managed to push me off of him so hard that I flew backwards through the air. I ended up slamming against the wall with a loud crash and sliding back down to the floor, which he seemed to find hilarious.

He was quickly back onto his feet. "You may be stronger, bellissima, but not that much stronger," he laughed.

I shook off some of the dust from the stone that had gathered in my hair while Marcus settled back on his throne. "That was not called for," I frowned.

"Carissima, you have a little…" Caius pointed to my hair.

I growled angrily and flipped my hair forward to shake the grey dust out onto the marble floor. "Marcus, why are you like this? Now I'm going to need a shower for this!"

"I would be more than happy to join you, considering how I am solely to blame for this and I should truly be righting my own mistakes," Marcus responded cheekily.

I rolled my eyes at him and instantly sat back down on his lap with his arms around my waist, occasionally pulling small pieces of debris out of my hair and flicking them at him.

"How are you feeling, bellissima?" Aro asked me.

"Considering I was just hurled into a wall," I ignored Marcus' smug chuckle, "great, actually. I have so much more energy than before, I feel like I could run laps around the world."

"It comes with immortality," he smiled.

"Can I ask you something?"

"You can always ask us anything, carissima," Caius repositioned himself on his throne so that he had a better view of my face.

"So…I might've- you know…kinda sorta…lost my crest, and I, um- I don't know where it went," I ducked my head ashamedly.

Marcus placed his hand inside his cloak and pulled out the familiar Volturi pendant. "Do you mean this?"

My eyes widened and my face lit up excitedly as I carefully took it from his grip and examined it in my palm. "Oh my geez, thank you, where did you-?"

"When we found you," he growled at the memory and I placed my hand over his on the armrest to calm him a little, "Renata found your crest discarded on the floor. Heidi and Corin have also retrieved your cloak which was found in the forests of Denali, and it will be returned to you once it has been cleaned."

He pushed my hair to the side and fastened the chain around my neck so the metal crest rested against my chest. I felt his gentle purr as he nuzzled into my neck comfortably and strangely found myself purring back in response.

"…what day is it?" I asked.

"It is Thursday the 17th of August, cara mia," Aro responded, "Why do you ask?"

I gasped sadly and pouted a little. "I missed Bella's wedding. God, I'm an awful friend."

"No you are not, do not speak of yourself that way. Any being would be blessed to have you as a friend," Caius flitted over to kneel beside me with a reassuring hand on my thigh, "Carlisle has been notified of what happened already. He has been put under strict confidentiality orders, however it is likely that Edward and Alice Cullen are both already aware due to their abilities."

"So Bella doesn't know? Why does she think I missed her wedding then?"

"She has been told that you had fallen very ill," Aro explained, "She was very understanding, and we sent Chelsea to the wedding to give Bella her gift from you on your behalf."

I let out a sigh of relief and relaxed back into Marcus. Honestly, Bella's wedding had been the last thing on my mind, but that didn't stop me from feeling terrible for missing it. I mean, for fuck sake, I was her best friend, and I promised I wouldn't miss it for the world.

"Why are people calling me 'Mistress'?" I asked.

Caius gave me a look of bemusement. "Why would they not? They have been put under strict orders to address you as Mistress unless given orders otherwise from you. Unfortunately, Afton had already disobeyed that order earlier, but I was willing to let it slide as you did not object to him doing so. You now have our level of authority, carissima, the guards are required to take any orders from you. Just, please refrain from abusing your power," he chuckled.

"Like I'm going to abuse my power," I laughed in disbelief, "If anything, I probably won't use it that much to begin with."

"There is something else we must discuss," Aro quickly slid me from Marcus' lap onto his while Marcus threw his arms up in annoyance.

"…yes?"

"Have you encountered any signs from your ability yet?" he asked curiously.

"I didn't notice anything, did you?" I tilted my head back to glance up at him and he smiled down at me amusedly before pressing his lips to my forehead.

"Neither, I just needed a little confirmation is all. If anything at all seems out of the ordinary, do not hesitate to call one of us over, nothing is more important to us than you. From what we have seen thus far, your gift is far from safe, so we must ensure we protect you at all costs."

I nodded in understanding and fiddled with a few strands of his soft black hair. Damn, it was just so soft, like some kind of fluffy animal.

"There is one last thing we must discuss," Marcus said, an enthusiastic smile forming on his face.

"Okay…?"

"I thought, we thought, that maybe, seeing as you no longer sleep – and this is only if you are comfortable with this – maybe you would be willing to…"

"Cut to the chase," I interrupted him with a giggle.

"To…move into our quarters permanently?" he asked almost nervously.

Now that I noticed it, all three of them seemed to be very anxiously awaiting my response. Honestly, for such a confident group of people, they did concern themselves about the silliest little things.

"…permanently?"

He sighed. "I knew it, we overstepped, I-"

"Marcus, you didn't even give me a chance to say yes," I laughed.

"…is that a yes then?" Caius asked.

I shook my head at their worry over my response but ensured I provided a verbal response before they jumped to conclusions again. "Yes, that's a yes, yes I will move in with you. Y. E. S."

I was only half way through saying "S" when Caius excitedly lifted me from Aro's lap and spun me around a few times before sitting me down on his lap on the steps of the dais, pressing kisses to every inch of my face he could reach. I giggled lightly while he reminded me of an excited puppy dog and tenderly kissed his jaw.

"You really thought I was going to say no?"

They paused for a moment. "We did not want to make you feel uncomfortable," Aro admitted.

I scoffed at them. "As if I'd say no, this'll be fun. How's it even going to work though? You know, logistically?"

"Your belongings will be distributed across our quarters. We had our wardrobes modified so they could fit your clothes as well," Marcus explained happily while Caius continued to harass me with kisses.

"You seem excited," I commented light-heartedly.

"Why wouldn't we be?" Caius pushed a strand of hair out of my face, "You agreed to move in permanently with us, us. You, carissima, are a gift I will forever be grateful for."

Author's note: Yay, Eli's moving in permanently with them. I just thought it was weird that they were in such a close relationship but had separate rooms, so I thought it would probably make more sense if she divided her time up between their quarters.

I kinda feel bad for leaving them out of the whole wedding action, but it will sorta add to things later when she hasn't seen Bella for such a long time.

Santiago and Renata acting weird in this, you might be able to guess where I'm going with that hehe…

Anyway, thank you so much for reading, be sure to leave some feedback because I love to hear your thoughts, stay safe, and ily lots!
