Countdown of 12 Days of Christmas
Day 1- Decorating the Christmas Tree 12/14/2020
"Percy, it's time."
Percy turned towards her from the couch. "For what?"
"To decorate the Christmas tree!"
"Oh, right! Let's go!"
Annabeth made space in the living room for the tree, while Percy went to get the decorations and the tree.
A few moments later, Percy came out lugging a big blue box, and another long white box laying on top of it, and Annabeth rushed to help him.
"Heavy!"
Annabeth gripped her hands on the bottom box to support Percy. They laid them down on the floor, and opened the boxes up.
In the blue box, it was filled with decorations like ornaments and tinsel. In the white box was the Christmas tree, in three parts.
"I'll untangle the lights and tinsel. You can do the tree. Fine with you?"
Annabeth raised her chin in defiance. "Why should I do the tree?"
"No, because you would think it's sexist if I told you to do the easier job."
"Touché."
Annabeth connected all the parts together, and they both started with the lights, then the tinsel, and lastly the ornaments.
They were putting their last ornament together, and it was a special one.
It has a picture of the 7 of them, with Reyna, Nico, Thalia, Grover, and Juniper. It was quite rare for them to ever meet all together, so Annabeth made sure to snap a photo to keep it as a memory.
"Let's put it on."
"Lets."
Each using one hand on the string, they hook it around one branch, and they were so glad it didn't break, because if it did…
"It's time for the star. You wanna put it on?"
"Yep!"
Annabeth grabbed for the gold star, and reached for the top. No luck.
"Maybe I could lift you?"
"Yeah, that would be easier."
Percy gently latched his hands on her legs, and hoisted her up.
"Just a little up! Yep, that's perfect."
Annabeth placed the star on the top, and it shone so bright in the light, and for some reason, she felt so proud.
Percy started pulling her down, but instead of putting her on the floor, he twisted her around, so she faced him, and gently pushed their lips together, and Annabeth's body warmed up from her toes.
When he pulled away, she was slightly disappointed, but his next words were even better.
"I love you."
She had heard this multiple times, yet she could never get used to it.
"I love you too."
…
"But I love Christmas even more."
"Hey!"
A/N: Since I kinda forgot about the 25 days countdown, I just decided to do 12 days instead. These drabbles will be small or large, really just depends on the prompts and my attitude XD
This one was vague, not my favorite, but they'll get better.
I'm still stuck in school, but I only have a week left, and I'm just so excited for Winter Break!

If you have any small Christmas prompts, go ahead, give them to me, I need some ideas.
Oh and these will all be Percabeth, or everyone will be in it. No other separate ships. If you want to give me prompts for the ships not including Percabeth, I would still love to take them, and use them for separate one-shots.
Most of December I'll be busy, with the the forum I'm in, or with this, so don't expect any separate one-shots, this hard enough.
This was slightly based of JillianEmily's story, under the mistletoe, but all the ideas are mine, so please don't say I'm copying, I'm just taking the idea of a story for each day until Christmas. If the prompts are coincidentally the same, I'm sorry, I didn't mean for it to happen.
Nyssa, if you ever do plan on reading this, I'll try my best to watch A Christmas Carol before winter break ends.
