The Cullen residence, 2 weeks earlier…

Alice pulled her phone away from her ear with an excited smile. "That's the cake ordered, it'll be here on the day before your big day!" she squealed at Bella.

Bella drew her eyebrows together. "But you don't eat cake," she said slowly to clarify.

"Then I guess you'll just have to eat it for us," Alice shrugged.

The phone that was in Alice's hand suddenly dropped out of her hand to the hard wooden floor of the front room with a loud smash. Everyone's gazes abruptly turned to Alice who was gazing off into space with her eyes glazed over.

"She's not going to be happy about that, she only just got that phone," Jasper whispered as he glanced at the shattered remains.

Edward, who was sat beside Bella on the sofa, was reading into the vision Alice had but suddenly wished he hadn't. Repulsed by what he saw, and it took a lot to repulse a vampire, he placed his hand over his mouth prevent him from throwing up venom.

"Edward, what is it?" Carlisle asked with concern.

In response, Edward simply shook his head and tightly gripped the sofa with his hand still over his mouth.

Alice snapped out of the vision as quickly as she snapped into it. Her jaw dropped and her eyes widened, mortified by that vision she wished she hadn't seen.

"Care to share?" Emmett asked.

Alice continued to stare at nothing. "Maybe not."

"Is this about the wedding?" Bella questioned.

She shook her head. "No, not quite that."

"Alice, please, let's not talk about this-"

Edward's sentence was interrupted by Bella. "Is it about any of us?"

Alice shook her head again. "This really isn't-"

"Was it the Volturi?"

Alice really wasn't in the mood to discuss what she saw further. "Guys, maybe we shouldn't-"

"That wasn't a no," Jasper noted.

Bella gasped. "It's Eli, isn't it? They've done something to her, haven't they? Is she safe? Do we need to rescue her? What about-"

"Eli is fine, she's more than fine, they're…taking good care of her," Alice responded, but the wording of her response made Edward feel even more uneasy.

Emmett frowned. "What's that supposed to mean? Wait, you didn't—did you see what I think you just saw?"

"Emmett, this discussion is going too far," Esme scolded lightly and gave him a warning look.

Edward read Emmett's thoughts and slowly nodded his head in confirmation. Emmett hollered loudly with a shocked grin.

"All together?"

Alice nodded slowly.

"Wow, I never knew she had it in her. Good on her to be honest," he laughed.

Everyone else began to catch on, well, everyone except Bella who simply sat there confused at all of their apparent overreactions. All their expressions were a mixture of confusion and disgust, except Emmett who simply found this whole thing hilarious.

"Will someone please just explain what they saw?" Bella groaned.

"Aw, you're so innocent," Emmett teased. "Think about it; Eli and her true mates i.e. the Volturi, all four of them, wildly in love, they've been together for a while now, she lives with them and probably sleeps in their beds, they're 'taking good care of her'-"

Then it clicked in Bella's head as she came to the horrifying realisation. "Oh my god, did she—what?! Ew, why did I ask? Now I'm never going to see Aro the same way again! Why did you have to see that, Alice?"

"I didn't choose to, I just wish I could erase every trace of that vision," Alice cringed at the thought, internally cursing her perfect vampiric memory.

"O-kay, that's quite enough for today. We will be in my office should anyone need us," Carlisle stood up and quickly left the room with Esme so as to escape the disturbing topic of conversation.

"Be glad you didn't end up watching it for yourself," Edward whispered to Bella.

Emmett was not even nearly done, as this would be perfect material to tease Eli with when he saw her again. "So, tell us more-"

"NO!"

Present time…

I was lying on my front on Aro's bed, listening to 'Spectrum' by Florence + The Machine out of my speaker. The three of my mates were…in all honesty, I had no idea where they were. I hadn't seen them in quite a few hours so I just assumed they were in a meeting or something.

My phone suddenly began to buzz on the silk sheets beside me, and I reluctantly turned down the music to answer it.

"Jell-O?" I asked with a weird voice for whatever reason.

"Eli, it's Alice," her light voice echoed through the phone.

My face lit up. "Alice, damn am I happy to hear your voice! You have no idea the hell I've been through this month—well, actually you do though," I had to remind myself about her ability.

"Yes, I'm sorry about that El. Put it by this way, you look amazing," I could almost hear her smile through the phone.

"I'd prefer to still be in my human form though to be honest," I said solemnly, "Actually, why didn't you warn me about the kidnapping—no, I'm a grown adult—abduction?"

She sighed. "I wanted to, El, I really did. I was about to actually, that was when I saw the vision of what would've happened if you'd been warned about it."

There was a pause.

"So, are you actually going to spill on what you saw? Or…" I drawled.

"I guess if you really want to know, I can tell you. You ended up cancelling your trip to Denali but still came to the wedding with your mates. The Romanians hid in the trees, waiting to attack. As soon as you and your mates left that evening, they came for you. The ending..." I could hear the tremble in her voice, "you were outnumbered, El."

I gulped. "Are you sure?"

"It was one of few visions that were completely certain. I'm sorry, I wish there was another way."

"It's…not okay, no, but I completely understand," I responded solemnly.

There was a quick pause before Alice's voice instantly perked up again as if nothing had happened. "How are you doing though? Immortality-wise?"

"Pretty good. Yeah, I drink human blood now, soooo…"

"Ooh, Carlisle won't like that," she laughed.

"Eh, at least my eyes are cooler than yours," I taunted.

"What? No, gold looks way better, better than red in anyway."

I giggled. "If you say so, pixie. How did the wedding go then?"

"Oh El, it was incredible. The happy couple are now on their honeymoon, but I'll be sure to send you the videos Esme took of the reception."

"Of course Esme took videos," I laughed.

"Yeah…" her giggle trailed off awkwardly.

I sighed. "Alice, what is it?" I asked.

"Um…there's something I need to tell you but please don't be mad…"

"I really don't like where this is going," I muttered.

"So, I've been keeping a tab on Aro using my visions. And…er…I saw something I wish I hadn't seen…"

"What did the man child do?" I deadpanned.

"It's nothing you don't know about, you were there if anything, and Caius, and Marcus…"

"…so what's the issue?"

"I saw some things I wish I never saw, you were—in Aro's bedroom—with them—flour—"

As soon as she said the word 'flour', my heart sunk to the bottom of my chest. Holy-moly, was she seriously watching me—with my mates?

"Oh. My. God," I seethed, "You were watching me? What the hell Alice?!"

"It was an accident, I promise, I didn't mean to!" she defended herself in panic.

"Who else knows?!" I yelled.

"Um, well-"

I heard Emmett's distant voice through the phone. "Is that Eli? Hey El, congratulations on banging the Volturi, so proud!"

"Oh my fucking god, STOP WATCHING ME HAVING SEX WITH MY MATES!" I shouted into the phone.

"Excuse me?"

I turned my head to face the doorway where all three of my mates were stood watching on in confusion.

"Gotta-go-bye," I blurted out and hung up the phone before tossing it across the room to the sofa.

Caius paced towards me with a snarl on his face. "Who?"

"Who what?"

He instantly sat beside me on the bed and flipped me over onto my back. "Do not act stupid with me, who were you talking to?" he hissed.

"Does it matter?" I laughed awkwardly in an attempt to relieve the tension.

Marcus sat down on the other side of the bed. "Please do not force us to torture this information out of you, Eliana, for it is a simple question really."

"That escalated quickly," I scoffed, "fine, it was Alice."

"What?" Aro looked shocked as he came to sit beside my head.

"Those Cullens have taken things too far. This is a form of treason-"

"Caius, babe," I placed my hand over his, "chill your beans. It was just an accident, she didn't mean to see anything she saw. She was only keeping a tab of Aro, which he is already aware of, and accidentally stumbled upon us…after the flour incident…"

"I would not say incident, more like misbehaviour on your part," Marcus corrected.

I shrugged. "Potato—po-tah-to."

A knock on the open door interrupted our conversation. All our gazes turned to one of the lower guards who had a large package beside them. The package itself went up to his waist and, from the looks of things, he'd rolled it down to our quarters due to its spherical shape.

"Delivery for Mistress Eliana," he bowed nervously and disappeared as quickly as possible.

My face lit up as I knew exactly what this was.

"Outta 'da way!" I rolled over Marcus onto the floor and ran over to my package.

"May I ask, what is that, il mio amore?" Aro asked.

I picked up the package and placed it down in the middle of the room, closing the door with my right foot. "Oh, you'll see."

Unwrapping it was much easier than I thought it would be since my strength meant that the plastic wrapping came apart with a single touch. Inside was exactly what I'd ordered all those weeks ago; a giant teddy bear.

"A teddy bear?" Caius' tone was overly judgmental.

I squealed excitedly in confirmation and hugged it as tightly as possible, rolling around across the floor with the stuffed bear in my arms. "Since you three are often busy doing God knows what, I thought it would make sense if I had a temporary replacement for you so I have something to cuddle," I explained, "My life was simply incomplete without this."

Aro seemed just slightly offended. "Oh, you've…replaced us? And your life is incomplete without…that?"

Before he had the chance to object, I tugged him off his bed and onto the floor with me before tossing the teddy bear away. He laughed, wrapping his arms tightly around my waist and nuzzling into my neck.

"As if I could replace you," I giggled, placing my palm on the side of his face, "While we're here, are there any updates on the Romanians?"

Aro lifted me off the floor and sat me down on his lap in the middle of the bed. "Demetri and Felix are still tracking them, but they are constantly changing their whereabouts which does complicate things. However, we have intelligence of them setting up a new coven in Slovakia."

I sighed. "Another new coven? Haven't the done enough as it is?" I gestured to myself.

"In their eyes, their work is only complete once our rule of the supernatural world is overthrown. We have defeated their coven several times, so this is not a threat worthy of concern," he assured me, pressing a gentle kiss to my hairline.

"So there's nothing we can do?"

"Not until Demetri has tracked them down," he confirmed.

"What do we do once Tweedle- I mean Demetri and Felix find them?"

Caius pulled me onto his lap, much to Aro's disappointment. "They have committed treason, so they will be immediately executed along with any conspirators and their new coven."

"Can I execute them?" I requested.

Marcus looked into my eyes worriedly. "Are you certain?"

"After the hell they put me through, I'd say I'm pretty damn certain," I responded.

Caius sighed a heavy, saddened sigh.

"What?" I asked, running my hand through his soft white blonde hair.

"I wanted to execute them myself," he admitted.

I giggled. "One each?"

He looked down at me with a pleased grin and pressed a delicate kiss to my forehead. "One each."

I was strolling along the corridor to the library, planning on finding a book on the Romanian coven, just out of curiosity. The halls were virtually empty as usual and, from the lack of sunlight, I could tell that it was past sunset already. Now that I didn't sleep, I wasn't even sure of the date anymore.

Just around the next corner, I heard the sound of two people kissing. I paused, hoping that they hadn't noticed me. Fortunately, they seemed to be oblivious to the sound of my footsteps so I was easily able to sneak up on them. At first, I simply assumed it was Afton and Chelsea but once I peeked around the corner, I had the shock of my life.

Santiago had Renata in his arms as they both kissed so passionately that I just felt uncomfortable. So that was why they were acting so weird; they were…mates?

With a smile, I darted back off away from that corridor. Oh, they are so busted.

Author's note: Oh my god Emmett in this is something else haha, the fact that the Cullens now know the itty-gritty of Eli's relationship is just priceless.

Also, Santiago and Renata! I really wanted to put them together from the start but I was sorta unsure about it, but I just thought now would be as good a time as ever to make them a couple.

And side note, I've become really obsessed with Florence + The Machine for some reason so I apologise for that aha. But seriously though, Florence's voice is heavennnn…

I feel like this whole chapter is just a bunch of dialogue, but ah well. Things really pick up next chapter, as you will see very soon hehehe. Her ability will finally be revealed, and I can confirm that she does not turn into a giant black hole for anyone who was wondering.

Anyway, thank you so much for reading this chapter, be sure to leave some feedback because your lil' comments are just brilliant, stay safe, and ily lots!
