This story follows Yuna after the events during the Sacred Tree arc in the volume 10 of the light novel. The story will follow the event on the future chapters so spoilers are to be expected if you haven't read the light novel yet. This story is just basically me inserting an original character into the story but the overall plot remains mostly the same.

-= Kuma-san meets Majo-chan=-

I had just finished writing the third volume of the Kuma-san picture book for Flora-sama. The obvious move should be to bring it to her since I wrote this for her. As I was deciding on when to bring the picture book to Flora-sama, I took a glance outside the window of my room and for some reason, I suddenly feel like going to the forest.

Now that I think about it, it has been a long time since I went to the forest around Crimonia. I was banned from hunting monsters and wild animals in the forest close to the city by the adventurer's guild because they say that the area was meant as a hunting ground for beginner adventurers.

Technically speaking, I'm still a beginner but they argue that an adventurer who can singlehandedly kill a black viper is by no means a beginner and so I was banned from hunting there.

After that, events happened and I mostly went with the flow and never had a chance to stroll around the forest. I just came back from the elf village which is surrounded by forest but for some reason I suddenly got the urge to take a stroll in the forest.

I got up and decided to go out for a walk. After a bit of walking, I arrived at the area where I first met Fina.

"This really brings back memories."

Had I not met Fina back then, I'm sure that I would have died from starvation. I was lost in the middle of the forest and had been walking aimlessly for god knows how long and it was thanks to Fina that I was saved. Fina doesn't want to take credit for saving me though. She keeps getting angry whenever I introduce her as my savior but personally, I still think that I owe Fina my life.

I decided to walk further and after about an hour of walking, I arrive at the area where I first came to my senses after being sent into this world. At first, I was really upset because I was reset to level 1 and only had this funny bear outfit but after all this time, I guess I can say that I'm thankful since I got to meet a lot of wonderful people. My only complaint is that I am forced to wear this funny outfit in order to get the benefit that this costume has.

I've already gotten used to it after so long but it's still a hustle when people pick a fight with me because of how I look.

"Help me!"

As I was reminiscing on the memories that I had after arriving in this world, a scream of someone asking for help pierced through the air. Judging from the sound of the voice, it's probably a young girl. This reminds me of the time when I first met Fina.

I took a look at the bear map to see what was going on and I saw one blue dot surrounded by numerous red dots. The distance was about 300 meters away from me. It was probably a girl who is being attacked by wolves while picking up medicinal herbs. The reason why I made that assumption is because that's how I met Fina.

I started running towards the location indicated on the bear map and arrived in an open area where I saw a girl with long ash brown hair wearing a black robe and a witch hat and was trembling in fear while pointing a wand at the pack of wolves in front of her. Based on her appearance she is probably around the same age as me since our height is similar but I don't want to put my bet on that. Afterall, there are people like Eleonora-san who looks younger than her actual age.

Without wasting any time, I casting ice magic and created several dozen ice spears and fired them at the wolves. All the ice spears found their marks thanks to the auto aim function of the bear outfit and all the wolves were instantly wiped out. The auto aim function is really convenient because I don't have to go to the trouble of manually aiming my magic against numerous enemies.

I was also surprised with how easily I managed to take down all the wolves which numbers over a dozen. So that is how much my strength had grown after gaining a lot of levels this past few months since I arrived in this world.

After confirming that the signal from the wolves had disappeared, I went to the girl who had now fallen to her knees and was still trembling. Looking at her, she is probably a newbie adventurer out for a herb collection mission.

"Are you alright?"

I decided to ask but seeing her, she doesn't appear to be injured. Maybe I should carry her back to town since she's not in proper shape to continue her mission. That was the plan but what she said next caught my attention.

"Thank you for saving me. For some reason, I found myself here after logging in and what more, my level has been reset to level 1 and I don't have any skills and my only gear is this witch equipment set that I got from a chest. Then I was attacked by that pack of wolves while reading this strange email and-"

"What did you just say?"

This girl said a lot of things that I wasn't expecting. Log in? Chest? Strange message? This is the same circumstances that I found myself in when I first arrived in this world.

"Are you perhaps a player as well?"

I decided to ask to confirm.

"Eh? What do you mean? Of course, I'm a player. There is no way an NPC will be out here in the forest wearing a combat set. Actually, why are you even wearing such a costume? Is that a limited-edition set?"

This girl. Now I'm certain, she is also from another world like me.

"That strange message you are talking about, is the sender perhaps God?"

When I first got here, I got a message from God saying something about this being another world and wishing me to enjoy my new life here.

"God? Oh yeah. It's an email from someone who claims to be God but I can't pull it out for some reason. Maybe a system bug.

The girl was swiping in front of her trying to open the game interface but it looks like she's not successful at all.

"Listen, it might come as a shock for you but this is indeed another world."

The girl looked at me with a confused look.

"Well… Technically speaking, this is indeed another world since we are in a virtual world…"

Ok… Explaining this to her might be a pain so I will just demonstrate for her. I pulled out a mirror from the bear box and handed it over to her. This is how I confirmed that I am in another world.

"A mirror? This is just an ordinally mirror isn't it?"

The girl flipped the mirror and started inspecting the back. Uh, that is not how you use a mirror you know.

"Use it to look at your appearance."

"Huh? My appearance? Is there perhaps something on my…"

The girl trails off as she takes a look at her reflection on the mirror.

"Why? This isn't my in-game avatar. This is what I look like in real life."

"Do you believe me now?"

I'm sure the email she got from God also says something about being sent into another world and such. When I first got here, I also received such a message and at first, I thought it was an event until I was finally convinced after I saw myself in the mirror at the inn.

"Somehow, I guess…"

She still wasn't sure but somehow, she accepted it so easily. I was expected her to ask more question about the current situation.

"My name is Yuna. I'm also from another world. Probably from the same world as you."

I introduced myself and offered her a hand to help get back on her feet. I'm not really sure if she came from the same world as me since there might be other worlds out there but I guess it's safe to make that assumption for now.

"Ah. Yes, I'm Sayuri. Nice to meet you, and thank you for saving me."

The Sayuri bowed to show her gratitude.

"This isn't a place to talk so we should return to town for now. I'll let you stay at my house for tonight so we can have a nice long chat. You can also ask me about anything you want to know about this world."

I said to Sayuri as I stretch out my hands to summon Kumakyu and Kumayuru.

"Thanks, you're really a life- Wah! Bears!"

Sayuri was surprised by my bears and fell backwards.

"They are my summoned beast. The Black one is Kumayuru, the white one is Kumakyu. They are harmless and won't hurt you unless you attack them."

"I'll keep that in mind."

Sayuri got up and approached my bears.

"Nice to meet you, Kumayuru, Kumakyuu."

Sayuri bowed as she introduced herself to my bears. She is unexpectedly nice.

"By the way, how old are you Sayuri?"

"Ah, yes. I'm 13 years old."

Sayuri answered and started patting Kumakyu.

"So soft."

What? She is 2 years younger than me but we are the same height.

"By the way Yuna-san, why did you brought out your summon beasts?"

"We are going to going to ride them to town since walking is a hustle."

I answered as I stared intently at her chest area. Yup, she is the same as me. Just the right size with a lot of room for improvement in the future.

"Riding a bear, huh. Sounds fun."

Sayuri said while looking at the bear.

"You're not scared?"

"Well, let's just say that there are a lot of things that I didn't get to experience having a frail body so if this is really another world, I want to enjoy it to the fullest and starting it off by riding a bear would be a really great start."

Sayuri said with a really sad tone on her voice. Frail body? So she must have a really weak body and prone to getting sick. She must've been through a lot of hardship. I never had the experience of being sick aside from having cold and such from time to time but it must have been hard to be forced to stay indoors and spent most of your time resting.

Well, I can't really say much about that since I myself also spent most of my time indoors playing game until I was sent here by God.

"By the way, Yuna-san."

"Hmn?"

"You had been staring at my chest area for a while now. Are you perhaps…"

Sayuri trailed off as she covers herself with her arms. Crap, was I that obvious? Of course, it's not like I'm insecure or something. It just kind of became a habit. What am I even saying?!

"O-Of course not!"

I denied while waving my hands in front of me.

"Really?"

Sayuri asked and took a step towards me.

"A-Anyway, we should head back to town before it gets dark."

"Ok. Well, I don't mind Yuna-san looking at my chest though..."

I heard something disturbing and looked at Sayuri who was blushing furiously while mumbling something. I also heard her whisper something about yuri but I honestly wish I was hearing things. This girl might be bad news.

"You ride Kumayuru, I will ride Kumakyu."

"But I never tried riding a bear in my life. Actually, I never even thought riding a bear was possible. Can you give a tutorial on how to ride your bears?"

My bears are special though. Also, why are you asking for a tutorial, it's not like you are going to ride them like you are riding a bike. You are just going to get on top of Kumayuru and stay there. Kumayuru will do all the work for you.

Sayuri climbed on top of Kumayuru while I got on top of Kumakyu.

"Hang on tight so that you won't fall."

I reminded Sayuri. Not that you will fall from my bear anyway. My bear has a special skill that prevents the rider from falling so even if she falls asleep on top of Kumayuru she won't fall.

"Y-Yes. Kumayuru, please take care of me."

"Alright, Kumayuru, Kumakyu, let's go home."

""Kuun.""

Kumayuru and Kumakyuu replied and started running towards Crimonia.
