A/N: I wrote this one EONS ago during English class. Hence why the writing is somewhat crappy but this was still a good idea so here y'all go. I don't own anything SRMTHFG! related. That all belongs to Ciro Nieli. The song "Defying Gravity" belongs to the musical Wicked. The character, Nikki, belongs to me.

"Nikki, please. Just listen to me! If you'd just apologize then we could work things out. You could still be with Otto. The one you've worked and waited for." Chiro tried to convince Nikki that what she was doing was wrong.

"How did you know that? That I liked Otto, I mean." Nikki asked

"Nikki, we're twins. Of course I know." Chiro put his hands on her shoulders.

"Chiro, I know what you're saying but I can't want this. No." She pried his hands off of her and backed away. She started to sing.

"I can't want it anymore
Something has changed within me

I'm through with playing by the rules of someone else's game

Nikki grabbed her brother's hands. "Chiro, come with me. Think of what we could do. Together. Unlimited. Together we're unlimited. We could be the greatest team there's ever been! Chiro, just think about our dreams. They way we've planned 'em."

"If we work in tandem?" Chiro was almost considering leaving his team to be with his sister. But he knew that somewhere in his heart that he would never abandon his team but his sister...

Both: "There's no fight we cannot win!

Nikki: "They'll never bring us down!"

"Well? Are you coming?" Nikki asked

Chiro looked back at his team,whom were giving him worried look, then back at his sister.

"I'm sorry, Nikki, but I can't do that. I hope you're happy now, Little Sister, since you're choosing this."

"Huh. So that's how it's going to be, Big Brother." She narrowed her emerald eyes at him.

"Nikki, wait! It doesn't have to be like this!" Chiro tried to explain

"I gave you a chance to be with me, Chiro, and you THREW it in my face!" Nikki closed her eyes and shook her head. "Guess they were right after all. You all are just a bunch of worthless jerks."

Nikki was mad. No, not mad. More like pissed off. She was so pissed that wings made of fire sprouted from her back and lifted her into the air.

Nikki:"I hope your happy in the end
I hope your happy, my...friends."

Chiro: "I hope you're happy, my sister."

Nikki: "If you care to find me
Look to the western sky
As somebody told me lately
'Everyone deserves a chance to fly!'

If I'm flying solo
At least I'm flying free!
To those who'd ground me
Take a message back from me!

Nikki then flew off after Mandarin and Sprx in search of the Fire of Hate.

"I hope you're happy!" Chiro called out after his sister.

"I'm afraid we may have to injure your sister in order to get her back." Gibson notified them solemnly.

"Antauri! Isn't there anything else we can do?" Nova cried out for her friend.

"I'm afraid not, Nova. We must bring her down!" Antauri told her.

About a minute later, she found Mandarin. He had lost the Fire of Hate to Sprx. Sprx was nowhere to be seen. Odd. She was certain that the red simian would be beating the tar, or trying to at least, out of Mandarin. Nikki then lifted Mandarin into the air and they were now on their way towards Valeena.

"What took you so long?" Mandarin inquired.

"I had a little something to take care of."

"And what, pray tell, might that be, my Pet?"

"I was trying to gain an ally."

"Who? Otto?"

'Does everyone know about my crush on Otto? I mean Holy Lucifer! This is freaky! Just plain freaky!' Nikki thought.

"No! My idjit of a brother, Chiro. He refused." The emerald-eyed beauty sighed. "You were right. You were both right. As I much as I hate to include Otto in this, they're jerks. They're all good-for-nothing jerks."

"Why not just simply ask Otto?" Mandarin raised an eyebrow at her. He hated to see her in pain and it was quite obvious that her brother's rejection hurt her deeply. He may not have been in her life for very long but Mandarin cared deeply for her.

"I thought that if I convinced Chiro to come with me then Otto would soon follow him." Nikki tried to explain but it was obvious that she only had a half-baked plan when it came down to it.

Mandarin was silent for a moment.

"You really do love him, don't you Nikki?"

"If there was any way that I could save him from the Hyperforce, I would."

"And your brother?"

Nikki was silent for a solid minute. "He could go and visit the Devil himself now for all I care."

"And...you're okay with this? Being with us and our master for all eternity?"
