Yeah I lied.

Last time: Sonic the Hedgehog, the fastest thing alive, and 16 years old (I would believe he is.) fought against Eggman and lost for once?! However, in this predicament, a new Sonic was brought to the world, as well as his friends and the rest of the Archie Universe. We will address Sonic, Tails, Amy, Knuckles, and Eggman and many other characters from the Archie comics with "Archie" in their name.

After meeting each other, both of them thought it'd be cool to battle against Eggmans Army, however, this lead to them being defeated and captured, along with Archie Amy. Luckily, the two Sonics got out ok and managed to meet with their friends in space. Unfortunately, they left Amy.

Chapter 10: Monkey Business

Out in the middle of space, Sonic, Archie Sonic, and gang float among the stars, blasting towards the Eggmans' Air Fortress. After a little while, they finally make it to the front of the Army, and begin to prepare for a battle, or an all out war if need be.

"So...whats the plan again?" Sonic asks.

"Well," replies Sally. "If we're gonna save our Amy, we'll need to form two or three different teams and distract however many enemies we can so you and our Sonic can boost through and get to Amy's cell."

"Luckily-," says Tails.

"-We've already formed teams," Archie Tails continues.

Beside the two Sonics, everyone already seems to be standing side by side in what seems to be groups of at least 3 people. Tails brings out a board with writing.

"Ok. So...Silver, Blaze, and Big, who Chaos forbids to mess up, will be the first team to go on the left flank. You guys will use the rocket cars we made. Just remember to stick together," Tails says.

"Next will be Bunnie, Rotor, and Sally. They'll take the second car and go for the inner left flank," Archie Tails commands.

"Amy, Knuckles, and the other Tails will take the 3rd car and go for the outer right flank," Tails finishes.

Archie Sonic looks over the board again, remembering that there were supposed to three teams, but also taking noting the size of the army. He knows that its much more larger than just the 9 of his friends can take on. "Hey Tails, this plan is cool and all but...the army is much more larger than just the few of us can handle," Archie Sonic explains.

Sonic shakes his head, placing his hand on his twins shoulder. Archie Sonic looks back in curiosity, but Sonic reassures him with a toothy grin that just spells 'mischief'. "Trust me. If anyone has thought of everything, it's Tails."

Archie Sonic seems a little surprised. But he nods, smiling as well. Him and Sonic look towards the two Tails who seem more than confident and gives them the thumbs up for the go ahead.

"Ok everyone! Battle stations!" Both Tails order.

Everyone moves accordingly, Blaze, Silver, and Big hustling towards their car; Sally, Rotor and Bunnie rushes to theirs; Knuckles, Amy and Tails hop into the third; Big is having trouble fitting but he sucks it in. Soon, they're off into the stars, moving towards the Egg Fleet. Sonic and Archie Sonic run to their starting post, preparing for take off towards the center of the base where they believe Amy is being held. "You up for this, Faker?" Sonic asks, with the same mischievous grin from earlier.

Archie Sonic chuckles with excitement. He studies the stars around him and in his heart of hearts, he knows they're more than prepared to succeed. His confidence is brewing. "You bet I am, copycat. I'm about to make your feet look like two fat Beluga whales racing each other."

Sonic looks forward, smirking. "Copycat? Geez, you and Eggman need some glasses. You'd think you of all people would know I'm the REAL hedgehog. Plus, I'd run circles around you, poser.," Sonic jokes.

Static picks up on both of their intercoms attached to their heads, being the basis of giving them needed info. Archie Tails comes on. "We're set you guys. Blast away."

The two Sonics could hardly contain themselves, as on cue, they blast off in what we'd call a Sonic Boom. They shoot off of the exit ramp both Tails and Rotor set of for their exit and run towards the Egg Fleet. In doing so, they shatter the run way, not that it would've been needed a second time. Sonic bounces across the starry sky, homing in on random jets and rockets, hitting them back towards one of the enemy ships, while he does a backflip shooting forward and catches an lingering rocket as to rocketride into the base. But Archie Sonic is much more creative, skidding across a few ships, breaking their wings until he actually catches one by the wing, then bends and sways the ship to do his bidding for a reckless landing in.

At Outer Left Flank

Silver, Blaze and Big exit their car, trekking across the Carrier they've landed on stealthily as to find a good place to take down the ship from the inside. On his intercom, he phones in Tails on the other side of the Egg Army Fleet. "Uh...Tails, we're here. Where exactly are we going?" Silver asks.

"I need you to find a safe way in and somehow make it to the computer room. There, you'll find a passcode to the network. Thats where your flashdrive will come in handy. Call me and we'll shut down all the ships together," Archie Tails explains.

"This should be a done deal then," Blaze adds. "If only we can just get there without drawing too much attention..."

Blaze and Silver look at Big, who just seems to be standing there holding Froggy, petting him like a dog. They then look at each other as if the idea of being incognito is hopeless. "Then we'll just need a distraction..." Blaze continued.

"Then you and Big stay back and try to get as much attention as possible. It's very likely they already know we're here," Silver says, starting to fly away. "I'll find the computer room and link with the other Tails."

"Stay safe then, Silver. Meet us back here on the Bridge."

"Got it!" Silver flys away off into the distance.

The Other End of the Flank

BANG BANG

The large metal door drops into the inside of a long hall with two large shots to it, falling like its got the weight of a bull dozer on it. From the other side, who else stands before it but Knuckles the Echidna, still refusing to chuckle, Amy Rose and their friend from the other world, Archie Tails. A Dozen Robots and Mobians turn around with guns of many kinds firing away. "Cover me Tails!" Knuckles growls.

Archie Tails steps in front of Knuckles, pressing a small device on his wrist that opens up a large shield, blocking the barrage of bullets coming from the Egg Brigade. Quickly, Knuckles punctures the door once again, lifting it over his head and chucking it towards the enemies. "What the- ?!" yells an Egg Soldier as the rest of them try to run. Its no use! (?) The door falls into the floor, causing them all to fly and fall against the walls and the floor.

Knuckles blew out some air, relieved of the weight the door had. "You may not be our Tails, but you sure come in hand like him."

"Well I try my best, you know!" Tails acknowledged. "You're not so different from our Knuckles either. But anyway, we should keep pushing forward."

Amy hops on top of the large, metal door, walking along it with her hammer out and ready. "Look! There's something coming!"

Out of the smoke comes the dark, menacing figure of something large and mechanical. It's a Gorilla, armed with fire power and machinery at its limps and core, but its hands free. Each step is a force to be reckon with and gets louder and heavier as it gets near them.

"Ahh!" Amy shrieks in awe. "Oh no! They got Donkey Kong!"

The Gorilla growls and stomps his feet in anger, shaking the whole terminal causing the heroes to almost fall over. "I'M NOT DONKEY KONG YOU CLOWN, I'M DANZAI, THE MECHA GORILLA!" He yells in a high-pitched voice.

A moment of intense silence fills the room, leaving the space between them to be quite dense. Amy sweats a little, covering her face. Tails frowns, his eyebrow quivering while Knuckles stands fierce, ready for a fight.

"Oh? Have I finally got your attention?!" The Danzai squealed.

A muffled laughter can be heard from someone in the room. It was Amy, who was trying her best to take the situation seriously. She uncovers her face to show her crying, not from fear but amusement. She laughs out loud, causing Knuckles to snort and heckle uncontrollably, and Tails to burst into a goofy laughter.

"W-whats so funny?!" Danzai yells.

They laugh even louder, now descending onto the floor. Knuckles pounds his fist against the floor. "I -aha I... Hhhhh! I can't breathe!" Knuckles struggles to get out through the laughter. "You- ehehe -heh..hey...hehe, was it tough on the inside?"

"Inside of what?" Danzai asks.

"The Egg Jail. They've gotta have some tough guys to make you...hehehehehehe sound like that!" Knuckles laughs again. Amy keeps crying. Tails can't even talk. Danzai looks at all three of them and smirks.

"Good." He says in his real voice, appearing above Knuckles with his fist raining down upon his head. Knuckles, still trying to stop laughing, seems helpless. Amy and Tails looks in his direction, still laughing but not as much to see their friend in serious trouble. "NOW DIE."

So I know I said I would leave and go to wattpad, which I actually wanna do, but I've decided I wanna practice this story on here more. For my own stories I do want to write. If this doesnt get as many views as it used to, I'll move to wattpad. I actually reread through it and I do kind of wanna finish it so...yeah. Stay tuned for chapter...10? 11?
