A/N: And we have reached Day 4. This is another one of those weird ones that I came up with in the middle of the night...so yeah.

Disclaimer: If I owned LoT, Len wouldn't be dead and Captain Canary would have been more than casual flirting and one kiss. So basically no, it's not mine.

Day 4: Michelangelo

Looking back on it, Leonard reflected, it wasn't the weirdest thing Sara had ever made him do.

There was the time when they'd decided to bring Mick and Laurel out with them for a night in 1978, which had gotten very interesting very fast; she'd once kicked his ass during training and then decided the "punishment" for losing was that he had to take a run through Oliver's training excercises, shirtless the whole time (though he suspected that was more because she liked seeing him shirtless than anything else); she'd once dragged him away form the team and all but forced him to go skinny dipping, an experience he wasn't anxious to repeat. So yeah, she'd made him do some weird shit.

This definitely qualified as one of those times.

Sara had just won five games of gin in a row and Leonard was done; obviously his luck today wasn't good. Neither of them quite knew what to do; somehow their conversation strayed to art, of all things.

"I'd love to meet a few of the famous painters, like Michelangelo and Vincent van Gogh. Normally I'm not all that into art, but there are a few classic pieces that even I can't help but marvel at," Sara said.

"The only interest I ever had in art was how much money I could get if I stole it and sold it on the black market," Leonard replied. "I'm sure I stole a Michelangelo painting at one point. It was a huge payout."

Sara rolled her eyes. "Of course it was. And naturally you only cared about the money, crook."

"That was before I joined the team and met you, assassin," Leonard reminded her.

A sly smirk appeared on Sara's face. Leonard knew that look...

"What are you planning?" Leonard asked, but she was already up and out the door. He sighed; knowing Sara, this would be interesting.

She came back a few moments later with an easel, canvas, and paint. Leonard watched her suspiciously as she set the small art station up.

Sara finished and retreated back to the bed. Leonard looked at her; she gave him a crooked grin and said, "Paint something."

Leonard blinked. "What now?"

"You heard me," Sara repeated. "Paint something."

"I just told you the only interest I had in art was stealing it," Leonard protested. "I don't paint."

"You also said you don't dance, and yet you've danced with me before," Sara pointed out.

"No, I said I'd watch," reminded Leonard. "I never said I didn't dance, just that I didn't want to."

Sara waved a hand dismissively. "Technicalities. If it makes it easier, as your Captain and your girlfriend, I order you to paint something."

Leonard groaned. "Fine, but if you tell anyone about this..."

"You'll what? Ice me? We've already determined you can't do that," Sara smirked.

Leonard smirked right back as he reluctantly got up and headed to the easel. "No, worse. I'll simply decide not to love you anymore. I'll break up with you, publicly, and shatter your heart into a million pieces, even if it kills me to do so."

"Serious threat," Sara said, only half-teasing. "I won't tell anyone, Len, you know that. Now get painting!"

Leonard rolled his eyes and got to work.

Half an hour later Leonard was finished, and for all that he had zero interest in art, his painting was really quite good. Sara wandered over to take a look and was rewarded by the sight of a winter landscape, with two figures tracing a path through the snow - one blond and the other in a deep blue parka.

"That's us," Sara realized.

Leonard smiled a little. "Yes it is."

Sara kissed him lightly. "It's amazing, Leonard. If you weren't a Legend, you could be the next Michelangelo."

Leonard rolled his eyes. "Sure I could."

But from then on, the picture hung on their wall. Whenever one of their friends dropped by, the sight of the painting that had magically appeared overnight never ceased to make them wonder. Neither Leonard nor Sara would ever tell who the artist was. And nobody ever asked.

A quick one today. I liked writing it...please leave reviews telling me if you enjoyed it! Day 5 is kind of a heavy one...fair warning.
