Hello FanFiction friends and followers! I have once again returned from an extremely long (Two years?) hiatus. I had been doing so much with the story leading up to my disappearance, and unfortunately I lost everything when my old computer's hard drive decided to completely quit on me. I'm one of those people who always thought "Psh, I'll be fine, I don't need to back up anything!" so I lost everything. Including the chapters I hadn't gotten to posting yet. I'd been roughly 2/3 of the way finished with the story, so it was a huge blow.
Losing all of that made me lose all want to finish this story. But then I'd had a dream of rewriting this story. Fixing some of the errors I'd made and making it flow a little better. So that is my current plan. I'll be taking each chapter and editing it as best as I can, making it an even better version than is already posted.
I'll also be uploading this as a new story with the same title rather than replacing what is already here. I don't want what became a popular story all on it's own to lose it's original luster, and I want people to be able to enjoy whichever version of the story they prefer.
So! That being said, I'll be actually backing up everything I'm doing this time around so I don't feel that complete gutted feeling I had when I lost the original story. Once I have quite a few chapters redone and ready, I'll be uploading those, and once I reach the end of what's currently posted I'll obviously be continuing where I left off and hopefully I'll actually get this story completed. It's been five years since I originally posted the very first chapter of Their Final Year, and I promise I will actually finish this story at some point, hopefully in the next coming months.
