Hello, fellow readers! And... it's been awhile since I've been here, huh? I know what all of you are thinking, is this the new story?

Well, more on that till afterwards. As for what this is, this is just an idea I just thought of and figured why not.

Not much more to say than that, really. Hope you enjoy this! Now let's get going!

Special: The Wheel of Fate Turns...

The Final World, the last sight any soul sees before fading away into the next life. The stars that adorns the night sky around the moon and clouds shine beautifully upon the surface of the water, that which has no end below. Ripples appear under his feet as a loner walks in no real direction, not knowing if there is an end to the horizon in his dual-colored eyes:

"My wish brought me here, huh?" He mutters to himself.

After a long battle to break a endless cycle in his own world, he never thought what would happen when he eventually succeeded. He isn't complaining if this is-

"Hey! Is anybody out there!?"

He stops in his tracks upon hearing another voice. Keeping his breathing to a minimum, he listens very intently. It wasn't too long until he heard it again:

"HELLO!?"

He looks around to try and see anyone, only to barely notice a silhouette upon the edge of the horizon and yells back:

"HEY!"

The silhouette moved, most likely surprised to hear his response. His eyes locked on target, he sprints right for it in hope of finding another person in this empty place. Upon reaching it, he stops as the details of said figure was now more noticeable. The most obvious one was rather spiky hair.

"Whoa, who are you?"

Turns out, the figure was a teenage boy that looks to be about sixteen in age. His attire gives the impression of an adventurer while also designed for combat situations, a neat little middle ground for a stylish look. His blue eyes stare in curiosity before he answers his question:

"Someone like you. You know, showing up at... wherever this place is."

"You mean the 'Final World'?" Guess the kid might know more than he thought.

"Is that what's it called?"

"Yeah. I was told this is where hearts go before... disappearing." The kid sounded more sober near the end before quickly shifting, "Name's Sora, by the way."

"Ragna."

"Nice to meet you. Hmm, I'm sure I would have recognized you from my travels. What world are you from?"

"World? Do you travel between dimensions or something?"

"Not exactly. Each world I've been to share the same sky as mine, since each star in the sky is actually another world."

"A star, huh?" Ragna instinctively moves his head upwards towards the night sky above, "Guess it's not that far fetched..."

Sora follows his gaze, not seeing another figure approach them until hearing their footsteps closing in. Upon seeing who it was, Sora shows a bit of shock upon seeing the person who now stood at the same distance as the other two.

"Wait, aren't you..." Sora trails off a bit, not exactly sure if his eyes are deceiving him or not.

The third person was kinda surprised that a stranger recognizes him, "You know me?"

"I think so. You're Yozora, right?"

Ragna couldn't help but make a comparison between their names, their meanings being sky and night sky respectively.

"How do you know that?" The figure also notices Ragna before continuing, "Who are you two?"

"I'm Sora."

"Ragna."

Yozora was more focused on the former, "You're Sora?"

"Wait... you know who I am?"

"Sure. I've heard of you."

Now this is getting interesting, "Similar names, but have never met face to face. Sounds like two parallel timelines crossing over."

"Timelines?" Both Sora and Yozora question his strange comment.

"Uh, it's a rather long... and complicated story." That was putting it VERY lightly.

"We have all the time in the world..."

That did NOT come from any of them. The two look around for the source as Ragna froze:

"No... that wasn't-"

"In fact, is time even a factor in this void? It's endless, much like the cycle of life... and death."

Footsteps close in on the trio, but no matter where they look, there was no one there.

"Souls come here to reflect upon this empty sea, before dying off like all the other worthless vermin."

"Show yourself." Yozora calls out, only to be ignored as the voice went on practically within their diameter.

"But why not? This void is just that, a mirror to reflect upon their miserable mortal lives. Wouldn't you agree..."

There was still nothing but the voice, yet it sounds like it could be right-

"Ragna the Bloodedge?"

Looking straight down, he saw a very familiar ghost a brief moment before leaping back to dodge a surprise attack. Sora and Yozora also jump back at the sudden splash as a fourth figure appeared before them.

"What the-!?" Sora watches as the water droplets came back down, revealing the attacker.

"You..." Ragna didn't want to believe it, but the proof is right there.

"I'll never disappear..." The shell of a man was hunched over, butterfly knife in hand as he spoke with a venomous growl:

"Not, until, I RIP YOUR HEART OUT!"

Rushing at his prey at full speed upon shouting those words, Ragna reflexively goes for his signature sword and quickly realizes he left it back in his world right before his attacker pounces. The snake swings his knife full force-

CLANG!

Only for it to suddenly stop near Ragna, likely a barrier of sorts blocking said knife. Sora has his keyblade out as he points it towards Ragna, conjuring the barrier as the attacker sees what just happened before leaping back to dodge a laser beam and narrowly avoids a barrage of them before reaching a safe distance.

Yozora held his crossbow and sword out ready to fight, pointing the former at the attacker. "Who are you?"

The hooded man forms a wicked grin on his face, "Why should I bother telling you walking corpses my name?"

"Says the dead man walking." Yozora shoots back, literally.

A laser flies right by the psycho's hood who simply tilts his head sideways to dodge, wicked grin still in full upon rushing at his new target. With butterfly knives in his hands and a dark aura raging around him, he throws them as shadow snakes form around said blades.

Quickly countering with a barrage of red lasers, most of the snakes were shot down. Among them, one went through the water under the cover of smoke and quickly rises up towards Yozora before he realizes what was coming.

Jumping back, the shadow snake barely misses its mark before it dissipates to reveal the hooded man within:

"Divine Twin Blades!"

Yozora manages to guard against this and gets knocked down by a downward heel kick follow-up, sending him down as the man dives after him.

As the two were engaged in battle, Sora was talking with Ragna who just finished processing what's happening.

"Ragna, who is that guy!?" The former was understandably confused by this.

"...He calls himself Susanoo, but I know him as Yuuki Terumi." The latter answers, "This is impossible, though. I thought I defeated him back in my world."

"Well whatever this is, maybe it's his heartless?" Ragna raises an eyebrow at that term, which Sora explains:

"A heartless is when someone loses their heart to darkness. It depends on the strength of their heart what kind it will become, though it looks like he's able to keep a humanoid form too."

A small nod was the only response Ragna gave him before a burst of wind interrupts their conversation. Yozora lands near them as Terumi lands a far distance away, the former turning his head to them:

"You fighting or not?"

"Great question!" Terumi suddenly shouts, pointing a butterfly knife soon after. "Come on, little puppy! Have you lost your bite now that you have nothing to back up your barks!?"

Ragna remains silent, taking the time to see the snake's appearance now that he's in clear moonlight.

His cloak was tattered and torn from all the previous battles, colored in a darker tone that almost resembles black with the markings now glowing a sinister green. Though, one trait he immediately notices is the left eye that the ghost's signature smile accompanies is now on full display due to the body likely being a shell at this point. Still, a murderous grin is in the smile's place as Terumi's other eye still has the snake-slit glare.

"We'll work together to take you down!" Sora got into his battle stance as he glares at the venomous foe, "Right, Ragna?"

Yozora simply readies his weapons, already annoyed at this loudmouth demon of a man.

Ragna was honestly a bit surprised at this. Most of the people he met back in his world was either after his bounty or just him in general, but he does have his fair share of allies. Upon entering another world, the two new faces are instead allies willing to fight with him. Guess his luck has changed for the better.

He smirks upon standing up and retorts with an equal glare:

"Yeah... I guess you forgot that I can still punch that shit-eating grin off your face!"

Terumi lets out a loud cackle and looks upon the trio with a wider toothy grin, "I will LOVE to see you DIE TRYING!"

Phase 1: Yuuki Terumi

Battle Music: Anger Unchained (KH3)

The trio brace themselves as the hooded snake runs while dragging his knife across the surface of the water, most likely going for a low attack. Sora and Yozora tries slowing him down with their respective projectiles, red lasers from the latter while the former shoots fireballs and bursts of ice shards. However, their enemy was quite agile and easily dodges them before actually diving into the ocean.

The three quickly scan their surroundings and manages to find where he will come from, leaping out of the way just in time. Terumi was expecting this as he goes right for Ragna:

"Gleaming Fang!"

Ragna could only block as the attack lands, the hooded man appearing behind him for a follow-up before getting sniped by a laser. Another barrage of them came soon after, making Terumi block as they push him back. Ragna saw an opening to return the favor and slams a Hell's Fang in his foe's face, sending him flying quite the distance.

Sora keeps up the pressure by firing a large lightning bolt down upon the enemy, shocking and preventing him from moving for a second. He follows up with a tornado to send him upwards, Yozora sending his pyramid trap to damage him further at the peak before making it explode. Smoke appears from the aftermath, only for a flood of snakes to launch out across the arena.

Ragna immediately uses Dead Spike to rid the ones going for him as Yozora creates a small vortex to nullify his swarm. Sora went a more dangerous approach as he uses Flowmotion to try and close the distance, dodging and even briefly running on the chains to do so. Ragna notices this and Terumi too, the latter grinning as he sends two chains right for the kid.

Sora quickly puts up a barrier to block the snakeheads as they bite down on said barrier, but it was enough for a counter assault:

"That won't save you, punk!"

To prove that, he pulls himself towards the barrier and slashes as he passes by. Firing another chain to prevent falling, he comes right back to do another. Slash after slash, the barrier was chipping away as Yozora finishes dealing with the snake swarm.

"Yozora, assist!" Ragna calls out, getting the technomancer's attention.

Sora right now waits for an opportunity to strike, letting Terumi have his fun as the chains swings under and sends the snake skywards through momentum alone. It then pulls a giant snake head straight down like a meteor, the keyblade wielder waiting for it... one... two... now!

SHATTER!

He bursts the remaining barrier apart, focusing the top mainly towards the snake head as the two slam upon their collision. The head was destroyed, but only left Terumi surprised as Sora then transforms into Second Form and uses Magnet Burst to entrap him. However, the hooded snake was quick on the draw to counter with his own trap:

"VENOMOUS BITE!"

Teleporting, he surrounds his prey with chains before pulling them, trapping and damaging Sora while also disrupting the magnet spell. A sinister grin grew on his face as he starts his next technique:

"Serpent's-"

"CRUSHING FANG!"

It was instant as Ragna suddenly appears with a demonic claw for his right hand, slashing upon his foe and frees Sora from the chains. Seeing the opening, Sora leaps right into action and performs Ars Arcanum, blitzing Terumi with a hard beatdown before slamming him down to the water below.

"Damn it!" Getting infuriated with their teamwork, he knows he has to think of something to turn the tables soon.

He then realizes that he hasn't touch the ground yet, noticing a change in gravity before seeing the cause. A red vortex in the form of a sphere was formed in the air further away where its suction was rather potent. He quickly uses his chains to try and anchor himself from getting sucked in, only for his snake heads getting severed before even touching the water.

"WHAT THE HE-" His angry shout cuts off upon entering the vortex, Yozora appearing next to it to deal a finishing blow that sets off an explosion.

Smoke appears in the aftermath as Ragna and Sora land on their feet, Yozora reappearing next to them as the latter uses Curaga to heal their wounds. And good thing too as before anyone spoke, an army of chained snakes shoot out from the ground and entangle the trio.

"You really thought I DIED just like that!?" An livid Terumi emerges from the water as he growls those words, "I'm no fool! I escaped the same way from Spiky's own magnet!"

Sora realizes what he meant before they were pulled up into the air:

"NOW FACE MY WRATH!" Terumi then summons a massive portal behind himself, releasing an equally massive myriad of snakes upon his foes.

The three were defenseless, enduring the full force of the attack as Terumi takes on his own transformation:

"AND BE SMITED..."

His voice deepens, a shadowy form of the Susanoo Armor appearing in his place before summoning dark energy to create a giant dagger:

"BY THE TRUE HAND OF GOD!"

He swings without mercy, the dagger growing into a gigantic blade briefly to cut the night sky above upon his victims. The remaining chains and portal disappears as his armor and dagger dissipates, a victorious grin adoring his face as he has finally took down Ragna the Bloodedge. The other two were just annoying collateral damage. A laugh escapes his mouth, growing louder as he revels in his victory:

"Hehehehahaha... HEHEHEHAHAHA!"

CLINK! CLANG!

His laughter immediately stops as something much louder was heard. His eyes didn't see anything other than the water and sky around him, but he knew what he heard. And whatever it is-

CLINK! CLANG! CLICK!

Was above him. Snapping his head upwards, he saw a giant techno sphere large enough to be its own moon. It lets out bursts of energy as he hears a familiar voice:

"Shut up already."

Whipping around to it, he was met with a relentless combo of slashes before ending with a spinning slash to send him flying. He then feels something slam into him, another slam into his back and another into his stomach, as the rush repeats a few times before a final thrust sends him flying the opposite way from earlier into a final attack:

"SEED OF TARTARUS!"

A powerful wave of darkness rips Terumi apart upon impact, making him heavily skid across the water's surface before stopping completely. Yozora and Sora land next to Ragna, the three catching their breaths from their team attack due to using much more power.

Silence fell upon the endless sea, only their breathing was heard before laughter began filling the air again. It came straight from the snake himself as darkness was emitting from the deep gash across his body:

"Like I said... you really think I would die just like that?"

"You're already dead!" Ragna did see him disappear before his eyes, so that's a question with no straight answer.

"...You're not wrong." Even Terumi doesn't know how, despite how much he does not care.

The darkness surrounds him as he rises up to his feet, a black aura emerging from his gash with sinister glowing green wisps. It grew stronger as strong gusts of wind blew throughout the area, the trio forced to stand their ground as Terumi lets out another laugh:

"But before I disappear completely... I'll make sure to ERASE YOUR EXISTANCE!"

Phase 2: Susanoo

Battle Music: God of War (BBCF)

The three watch as their enemy transforms again into his armored form, now with more details that Ragna recognizes. Despite the fact the Susanoo Unit is long gone since it's back at his world, Terumi is likely able to replicate most of it if he becomes powerful enough or as a last resort. At least, that's his best assumption cause this is just bull-

"What's happening!?" Sora asks a good question.

"Long story short, this bastard is a rogue god of destruction." Ragna bluntly answers, "Probably should have told you that earlier."

"I mean, I fought gods before." Sora recalls from his adventures before sighing, "Never a break from this..."

"You have no idea..." Ragna knows that first-hand.

Yozora had his fair share of tough opponents, but isn't one to brag right now as their foe completes his transformation. The armor he wears is now a solid form, emitting an immense aura of raw power as it resembles a combination of a fierce warrior and a savage beast.

"When you die, not even your ashes will remain." A deep guttural growl came through its teeth as he gets into a battle stance, showing off his claws before clenching them tightly.

This action made the water beneath him not even ripple, but splash waves throughout. The trio held their ground as the water crashes into them, the beast taking that opening to attack.

A tail swipe slams Yozora away before swiftly delivering a high kick that sends Sora flying, bringing the same leg downwards and sweeps it across the water, sending an energy pillar shooting out to make Ragna barely sidestep it. A hard stomp slams into it to make a shockwave, landing splash damage on the Red Rebel and sends him flying into more calmer waters.

"Damn it!" Ragna was surprised that attack did the same damage as when they fought back in his world.

Quickly getting to his feet, Susanoo was pursuing him and got stopped by a bombardment of magic spells to keep him in place.

"Take this!" Sora calls out, channeling light energy at the tip of his keyblade.

The energy then bursts into a swarm of light beams, homing in on the beast and hits dead on. Not letting up on the pressure, Yozora conjures clones to surround the beast and performs a technique that is best described as a vacuum wave. It didn't last too long as Susanoo slams the ground again, the shockwave dispersing the clones as a new ally joins the fray to assist.

Yozora definitely knows their enemy is not one to take head-on at full strength, so he's doing all he can to try and wear it down as Sora lands next to Ragna:

"How did you take him down last time?" Sora asks him.

"Like this? He had the 'Susanoo Unit', which was his original form. It took serious planning to even remove him from it, but he's now using the power without restrictions." Ragna briefly explains before finishing, "But he can be killed, I've done it before."

Sora took a moment to think before hearing Yozora speak, "My sword can take his power. All I need is an opening."

"...We'll cover you then." Ragna goes with that as Sora nods in agreement.

Giant mechs known as Gigas fly in towards the destructive god, only for the first two from the sides to be caught in his claws and smashed them on a third going for his front before they dissipate into red pixels. Another one came from behind and swings its arm down, being caught all the same as Susanoo grips it tightly.

As a demonstration of his monstrous strength, the Gigas are now a ragdoll as he spins it around. This took out any that came close before hurling it into the remaining robots and fires a beam to destroy them all.

Clouds disperses up above from its sheer power, the remaining stars shining down upon the battlefield entirely with the remaining moonlight. The fight continues as a red barrier surrounds the armored beast instantly:

"You cannot imprison-" The deep voice was cut off upon briefly feeling a sharp pain in his side.

"Your power is mine." Yozora said as he pulls out his sword, the glowing red blade now glowing black with a green hue.

Susanoo swings his fist to shatter the barrier before seeing a Dead Spike coming from the side, immediately taking it out with an energy projectile of his own. Sora then slides in from the other side, performing Stun Impact to stop the beast momentarily. This opening allows Yozora to unleash a trio of fully-charged energy slashes upon it from a distance. Despite landing the hits, the beast didn't slow down as it performs Hunter's Fang to close said distance.

Yozora quickly throws his sword under the airborne god before leaping away to dodge the attack, being lucky not to stay as an energy pillar rose from where he was on impact. Ragna was quick to grab his airborne blade and performs his own attack:

"Carnage-"

The first strike lands across the beast's back and follows it up soon after:

"SCISSORS!"

A pair of dark energy spikes, colored red and green respectively, crosses over themselves before blowing up to damage said god more. This make the beast roar in fury:

"I'LL KILL YOU!"

Susanoo creates a giant dagger from his own energy and swings at Ragna, who quickly rolls under it to continue his assault. The latter sees the former have one of his claws free, likely seeing his dodge and tries to catch him off guard-

"Nice try."

Only for a trio of blue lasers to fire into the beast's chest, followed by a powerful slash going across his back from the keyblade wielder. Ragna didn't waste the opening, impaling the blade into the god's throat and violently rips it out as the sword absorbs more energy from the new wound. The surplus energy then shapeshifts at the tip to create the blade of a scythe:

"There is no hell..."

SWOSH!

With all his might, he brings the scythe-blade down upon the wounded beast. Silence finally fell upon the world as Sora and Yozora see the beast's head fall from his shoulders into the ocean, dissipating as the rest of the body does the same.

"Only the void."

Ragna held the blade steady in a reverse grip as he watches his long-time foe disappear before his eyes. Once the god of destruction and the remaining energy caught in the blade faded away, Ragna hands the blade back to its owner:

"Thanks, both of you."

"No problem." Sora smiles, desummoning his keyblade as Yozora puts his weapons away. "That's just what friends do."

"Friends..." Ragna mutters, being reminded of his back home before a light begins to shine from the horizon.

The trio turn to see the sun start to rise, the stars above going away to let a blue sky come. The Final World was free from the divine beast's rage, thanks to the three heroes of their own worlds.

As worlds cross over timelines, this is only one of many possibilities...

And DONE!

Tell me, what did you think? Like I said, this was an idea that came to me after playing the Remind DLC and other attempts to write KH stories. Hope it came out well.

Now for the updates on the reboot:

1. I don't have a clear date of when it might come out. I don't want to feel like I need to do this, I would WANT to. That way, the writing would feel more natural than forced.

2. There is a clear direction of how I want to structure the setting, which would put the Blazblue characters in similar to the Final Fantasy ones where they reside in the original worlds. And even then, the cast will NOT include everyone. Only those who have a clear story importance.

3. Speaking of Final Fantasy, the characters will have more to do along with the Disney characters. I'll also add a couple of my personal favorites, heroes and villains alike from both sides.

4. Along with a more streamlined approach on the rules and canon, the worlds will also be changed with a few new ones and even a removal of one or two to avoid any filler. I don't want any of this to feel bloated or nonsensical.

5. I also might change the title, but that's just a thought. I'll probably keep it the same to make it easier to find.

6. I still want to complete a couple of projects before coming back here. That way, I'll have time to refine the ideas before starting it.

With ALL of that said, I also wanted to put this up this month to celebrate Distorted Dream's 4th anniversary and my seventh year on this site. AND as a Christmas gift to those who enjoyed Azure Keyblades since the beginning.

Thank you everyone for your support and I'll see you next time!
