Happy New Years! If you're reading this on New Years lol
Well I wanted to finish this chapter in time for it so if you're seeing this- MISSION ACCOMPLISHED
Naruto and Yamato stood on the deck of the Piece of Spadille as they approached the massive construct that was Tequila Wolf. "You sure that you don't wanna wear a disguise Yamato?" the blond asked the woman at his side. He had originally suggested that she put something on to hide her identity in order to prevent her father from tracking her location.
"No, I'm not gonna hide who I am from anyone. If they want to give me a bounty then let them, and if Kaido wants to pick a fight, we'll take him down," Yamato declared, doubling down on her decision to show her face to the world without a care about what the consequences might be. Oden never hid his face while traveling with Whitebeard or Roger and neither would she!
"Right," Naruto relented, not pushing the issue any further before stepping up in front of her, "Get on," he told her. Getting onto Naruto's back, Naruto blushed as he felt Yamato's chest resting on top of his head while holding her up by her thighs. "Ready?"
"As I'll ever be," Yamato replied, ready for her combat experience outside of Wano. To say she was excited was the understatement of the century. She was doing what she wanted, she was going to give other people the freedom to have the same liberty as her. She smiled as he hugged her lover before he leaped from the ship, leaving a few clones behind to protect it in the need came.
Landing on the side of the wall, Naruto stuck to the stone using his chakra before running up to the top. "Your powers really come in handy," Yamato commented as she thought of all the quality of life abilities that her liberator had at his fingertips from cloning himself to flight and sticking on walls.
"Perks of being a shinobi," He replied with a smirk before leaping past the top and landing in what looked to be a largely abandoned camp. Dragon had mentioned how due to how long the bridge had been under construction, camps were left behind to rot while the people moved down closer to the newest part in order to set up a new one.
They had decided to climb up a few miles away from the current camp in order to not be noticed on their way up. Yamato walked up to an old tent that seemed to have been a medical station at one point, bones left behind on a tattered mat on the stone floor. Those weren't the only ones as the remains of long-since dead slaves were found all over the site. It was clear that the people running the camp didn't care one bit about the people they left behind.
"Naruto, can you seal their remains away? I…feel like we should give them a proper burial," Yamato asked, knowing that the jinchuuriki could seal away things in his scrolls to summon out later. While she knew that they wouldn't be able to get the remains of everyone on the bridge due to its sheer scale, some were better than none.
"I'll have some clones gather them and bring them down to the ship," He replied, feeling that the request wasn't exactly outlandish. He could make hundreds of clones and he had only left a few down on the ship for emergencies and to gather Natural Energy in case it was needed. Making a few extra dozen wasn't a big deal.
"Thanks," Yamato muttered as she felt a deep sense of anger as she looked down at the bones of a person who died chained to a post, likely as punishment before being left to starve. Her nails dug into the palms of her hands as she thought back to her own treatment at the hands of her own father. How he'd chain her away and leave her starving. Thinking of her life as nothing more than a means to an end for his goals.
He wanted her to live for him and only him. To be a slave to his whim.
She had gotten the chance to be free. They would never have that opportunity. But she could at least make sure that their remains weren't left chained to this cursed place. Breaking the chains off the body's leg, Yamato helped Naruto's clones gather a few of the remains.
Naruto himself had been disgusted by the inhuman treatment that these people received from the World Government. He always tried to see the best in people, but the more he learned about these World Nobles, the less good he could see in them. They reminded him of Gato and how he treated the people of the Land of Waves, milking them dry for his own benefit.
He didn't like war.
He hated war.
But for this world to know peace, something needed to change. He didn't exactly disagree with the need for the Marines. Having a military to protect those who couldn't fight was what the shinobi were to their village, and with how some pirates acted, there was a real need for protection.
The problem came from how the Marines acted and the government backing thing. It skewed their purpose away from being a tool for protection and to a tool for the World Government to insure obedience.
Walking to the gathered skeletons, he pulled out a scroll and sealed them away. "I'll have the clones collect any remains we find along the way," Naruto said, starting to walk forward toward the newer parts of the bridge.
As they continued down the slave-made construct, the duo passed camp after camp, each looking newer than the last as they got closer and closer to the most recent one. The same could be said for the remains that they found along the way. Some of the more recent camps had corpora with flesh still on the bone.
With each body, their resolve to save the people enslaved on Tequila Wolf and put an end to the government operation grew. "Naruto, after we save everyone, I want to sink this bridge!" Yamato declared holding her fist up in front of her face, her eyes focused and filled with fiery determination. "If we leave it standing, they'll just bring in new slaves to continue the work!" Yamato stated, and Naruto couldn't help but agree.
"You want to do it or want me to blast it away with a Bijudama?" Naruto asked figuring that he'd give her the opportunity to do away with the bridge on her own.
Yamato gave his shoulder a light punch, "I don't think I can destroy the whole bridge on my own," She admitted, knowing that despite her immense power, she wasn't capable of causing destruction on the same scale that Naruto or Kaido could.
Naruto hummed before coming up with an idea, "I got something in mind," he told her with a wide smirk on his face as he figured out how he could help her out.
"What is it?!" She asked excitedly only for Naruto to hold a finger to his lips, telling her that he wouldn't tell until the time came. Yamato puffed her cheeks, pouting at the tease. "Fiiiiiiine~" Yamato replied knowing that the ninja wouldn't let his plan slip if he didn't want to.
Eventually, they started to hear voices from further down the bridge, telling them that they were nearing the end. "So how do you want to go about this?" Naruto asked the white-haired woman, who just smiled and dashed forward toward the noise with her weapon drawn, strange blue flame-like energy wrapping around her body.
"So much for covert operations…" The blond muttered before rushing after her. One of his clones back on the ship popped, feeding him a burst of Senjutsu Chakra, letting him activate his Sage Mode.
Yamato growled as her kanabo slammed into the stomach of one of the guards, their body folding around the weapon before being batted off the bridge. However, when Naruto caught up with her, he noticed that she had taken a different appearance from before. Her skin was covered in white fur and her horns now pointed back. Her hair was now longer and wilder, almost like resembling a cloud of flames with a similar-looking tail coming from her lower back. Yamato's feet now resembled those of a canine and her ears were larger and longer. Wrapping around her arms and around her back was a light blue trail of frigid air.
"You never said you had a Devil Fruit," Naruto mentioned as he punched one of the guards in the face. Several clones came into existence around him before rushing off into battle against the guards.
"I…didn't exactly want to use it's power. Reminded me of my father," Yamato replied, imbuing Takeru with an icy aura before striking down onto the ground. Ice erupted from the point of impact, freezing a group of guards. "But, unlike him, I'll use this power to give people their freedom!" Yamato yelled as she fought he way through several other guards, her immense power beating them without much effort.
Naruto smiled at the statement, "So you were holding back against me?" Naruto asked as he dodged a bullet and kicked another guard away.
"Like you didn't hold back too!" the Zoan user said in response, blasting away a squad of prison guards with a gale of frozen winds.
"Enough!" One of the guards yelled as he pulled a slave from one of the tents and held a pistol to their head. "You're Uzumaki Naruto, right? The Golden Devil, a member of the Revolutionary Army," he stated, having recognized the blond from his wanted posters. The man was worth a fortune so capturing him would certainly get him a promotion. "Haha you're here for the slaves, right? Well, if you care about them you'll surrender, or we'll kill each and every one of these creations!" He announced as several other guards began doing the same.
Yamato grit her now fanged teeth at the sight of the guards using the slaves as shields. Her now blue eyes glowed menacingly as she started to lose her temper. Growls echoed across the bridge as Naruto felt the air shifting around his lover. "How…HOW DARE YOU!" She roared, her Haki exploding in every direction in waves of power.
Yamato's Haoshoku Haki washed over the guards, her furious will dominated their minds, knocking them out in an instant. As the guards dropped to the floor the slaves couldn't help but be confused at what had just happened. They were clearly scared due to having their lives threatened by the soldiers, but they were rattled by why had just happened to them.
The wolf-hybrid took in deep breaths as she reigned in her Haki, taking a moment to look around at what she'd done. All around them, the government men were unconscious on the floor. The stone floor had cracked under her power, leaving a spiderweb of fractures stemming from her.
"You alright?" Naruto asked, walking up to Yamato who steadied her breath before giving him a nervous smile.
"I kinda lost my cool," She said with an awkward smile on her face as admitted that her temper combined with the influence of her Devil Fruit made her see red for a moment. Seeing how startled the captive people on the bridge were, she couldn't help but feel a bit bad, but at least they were safe. She knew that not all of them were innocent, but slavery wasn't the just punishment in her eyes.
"Maybe, but you did save their lives," Naruto said as he watched his clones engage with the slaves, making sure they were okay and healing anyone who needed additional help. "We are from the Revolutionary Army. Additional help is on the way to help get you guys off this bridge and back where you should be," he announced.
He wanted to say home, but he knew that there were some people here who either had their homes destroyed or perhaps they should be in jail.
"I won't let you do that!" The Prison Chief announced as he came out of hiding. He seemed a bit rattled by the sight of his men being unconscious but had likely been too far away from Yamato to have been fully knocked out by her Haki. "I have already called the Marines and they'll be here with an Admiral soon enough!" He declared, hoping that the threat of an Admiral would be enough to scare the two.
The threat had the desired effect on the newly freed slaves who began to panic at the thought of an Admiral coming to the bridge. Of course, he knew that an Admiral being nearby was a long shot in reality. It would take them too long to reach them.
Naruto frowned as he saw the fear in the eyes of the people they were trying to free at the news. Calling on Kurama's chakra, he was cloaked in golden flames before stepping forward. His chakra amplified his voice several times: "If you think I'll give up because you called the Marines, you've got another thing coming! We're freeing these people, whether the World Government likes it or not!" He declared, making sure everyone could hear him.
"If you want to keep them here, you're going to have to go through us," Yamato declared, stepping up next to the glowing blond, her frigid energy coating the kanabo.
The chief looked anxious as it was clear that the two weren't going to back down. He knew that he didn't stand a chance against the 'Golden Devil' of the Revolutionary Army and the wolf woman he had beside him seemed to be a powerful fighter in her own right.
The prison wasn't prepared to face people like them! It was filled with petty criminals and people the World Government captured from countries that didn't ally with them. To think that one of the most wanted men in the world would show up here of all places. "I have to stall them until someone shows up!" The chief thought to himself but couldn't think of a possible way to do that for long enough without getting killed himself.
If he failed to stop them, he'd just be made a slave for his failure. Pulling out a pistol, he aimed it at Yamato, but before he could fire a glowing hand caught the barrel of the gun and crushed it. "Are you sure you wanna fight?" Naruto asked in a calm voice as he lowed the man's hand down. The chief fell down to his knees, giving up on his chances that the Marines would arrive in time to save him.
Pulling out his Den Den Mushi, Naruto dialed Dragon, "We've captured the prison," Naruto said before feeling something approaching them from behind. "Hold on, we have a problem," he corrected as he turned back around to see a man walking towards him. From the tinted glasses to the yellow-striped suit, he recognized him as Admiral Borsalino also known as Admiral Kizaru.
It was impossible for an Admiral to have shown up so soon after a call for help was sent out. No, the only way it would have been possible would be if they already knew to be here, to begin with. Meaning someone had tipped off the Marines that they were on their way from the start and they had time to get here.
"I'll have the ship brought around, help get everyone onboard," He told the Zoan Fruit user but instead, but she stepped forward instead.
"Naruto, let me fight him. You've handled everything so far, I wanna see how strong I really am!" Yamato declared to her partner.
Naruto didn't know if it was a good idea for Yamato to go up against an Admiral. He had never directly fought against one before yet so he had no way of knowing just how strong one of them could be. But he also trusted Yamato with his life, and if she wanted to test herself against a powerful opponent, then who was he to stop her. "Then I'll get the prisoners off the island," he replied, crossing his fingers and creating hundreds of clones behind him. "Get everyone off the bridge!"
With that order, the clones swarmed the camp, picking up slaves and guards alike and leaping off the sides of the bridge to the water below.
"Oh? Not fighting?" Kizaru said lazily, holding a finger up towards him. Naruto saw it light up before it fired a beam of light straight at him. A smile spread across the blond's face as Yamato got in the way between him and the beam and swung Takaru at it.
Her fangs clenched together as she struggled to push back the attack for a moment before hitting it right back at Kizaru who let it phase through him. "Your fight it is with me now!" Yamato shouted at the Admiral before rushing towards him.
"You have some strength," Kizaru stated as he saw the wolf-woman throw his attack right back at him. It was a moot point but none the less was more than most could accomplish. "But not enough," he added on as he let the kanebo hit him in the chest, frost growing from the point of impact but there wasn't any outward reacting from the Admiral.
The wolf-hybrid growled as she followed up with another frost-enhanced swing at Kizaru's head. Over and over again, the yellow themed Marine weaved out of the way using his Devil Fruit. From what Naruto remembered, Dragon told him that Kizaru had eaten the Pika Pika no Mi, making him a light man and one of the fastest people in the world.
Borsalino had felt the Haki in her first blow, seeing that it had hit him despite his Logia Devil Fruit. Her strength was also nothing to scoff at. Whoever this woman was, was easily physically stronger than most Marines. Getting hit too many times likely wouldn't be the best for his health.
"I have more than strength!" Yamato shouted at the glasses wearing man, unleashing a colossal wave of frigid air in his direction.
"Ice huh? Scary," he commented in an uncaring tone when he saw the attack freezing the ground as it crossed the area towards him. His leg shined a brilliant golden for a moment before he lashed out with a vertical kick at the incoming cloud. The beam of light sliced right through Yamato's attack and continued towards her at insane speeds.
Reinforcing her kanabo with Armament Haki, Yamato brought it up as a guard against the Admiral's attack. The force forced her back several meters, the claws of her paw-like feet cutting through the stone floor before she deflected the attack up into the air over them, the resulting explosion lighting up the bridge.
However in the split second that her guard was down, Kizaru shot through the air, his body made completely out of light. His foot slammed into Yamato's stomach. Her eyes grew wide at the rush of pain. Her mouth was wide in a silent scream, blood splashing out from the back of her throat. The force from the kick had lifted her entire body from the ground, folding down onto the limb before her entire body was sent flying back through several buildings.
Stabbing Takeru into the ground, her power froze it to the ground, stopping the flight cold. Yamato glared at him, feeling a warm liquid dripping from her mouth. "Damn it," she muttered, wiping the blood from her mouth and standing up.
This was different from her fight with Naruto. Her opponent wasn't pulling his punches like her blond companion had. She knew that Kizaru wouldn't have qualms about killing her if it came down to it.
"Ooh? Deep in thought?" Borsalino's voice echoed, her eyes widening as her Haki foretold his next attack. Leaping to her left, the Admiral appeared in a flash, slashing down onto where she had been.
Yamato tore Takeru from the ground and swung at Kizaru again, Haki crackling around the blackened weapon. "I won't let you enslave these people!" She roared as the kanabo was met with the blade of light. "I won't let more people die!"
The force of the collision obliterated the building around them, shattering the ground as Yamato attempted to overpower the Marine with all her strength. Her fangs almost cracked from how much she was clenching her teeth together. She couldn't die here. She had to kick Kaido out of Wano! If she didn't, then she'd never be able to live up to Oden's will!
"You're Haki's not half bad," Kizaru commented as he felt her Haki growing stronger, bolts of light striking down around them. Yamato's knees buckled as she felt Kizaru pushing back against her. As she was pushed down, the stone further cratered.
"Namuji Hyoga!" She cried out, her mouth was wide open, and a pale-blue beam of swirling cold air blasted out from within, hitting Kizaru at point blank. A cloud of frosted floated through the area, lowering the temperature rapidly and causing ice to start growing everywhere around them. Spinning her weapon, she gathered some of the residual cold air around Takeru and attempted to slam it into the yellow Admiral's head again, only for a light-covered kick to knock the weapon out of her hands and into the air.
"Chilly~" A laid-back voice rang out before the leg came back down and slammed into the top of Yamato's head, driving it into the stone. The entire bridge shook violently as more cracks started to form. Chunks of rock began to fall off into the water below as the damage increased.
The force from the kick blew away the cloud of dust and ice around them revealing Kizaru standing over Yamato with his foot down on the back of her head. His suit was covered in frost, but he looked relatively fine compared to his opponent. "Damn it!" Yamato shouted, attempting to push herself back up but felt his food pressing her head back into the stone.
"Just give up, no point in dragging this out," Kizaru said bringing his blade up to stab down at Kaido's daughter.
Naruto was about to rush to try and save Yamato but before he did, the white-blue-haired woman raised her fist up and slammed it down into the floor shattering it further and creating enough space for her to slip out.
Getting back up, she looked around of Takeru, only to find that it had landed behind Kizaru after he kicked it out of her hands. Looking at Naruto, she gave him a fanged smirk. Nodding, Naruto relaxed and decided to let Yamato keep fighting despite not liking her odds against Kizaru.
"Alright," Yamato said getting into a low stance. She knew that she wouldn't be able to win against the Admiral. He had already proven the gap and power between them were too large for her to overcome just yet. But she wasn't going to give up just yet. Taking in a massive amount of air, she lurched back almost as if about to fire another Namuji Hyoga but instead exhaled an extreme about of ice-cold fog that rolled over the entire prison.
"Oh? Hiding now?" Kizaru asked as he placed his hands in his pocket. Seeing Yamato's silhouette coming at him through the fog, he lashed out with another kick. However when his foot made contact, the Yamato he attacked turned out to just be a chunk of ice.
A second shadow leap out from behind the ice as Kizaru shattered it. The fog swirled and spiraled around Yamato's hand before it tore the veil open to show that in her hand was a large glowing orb of spiraling freezing air causing the air to shift around it. "Rasengan!" Yamato shouted, slamming the rotating ball into the Admiral's face.
"RAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA" With a beast-like roar, the Makami-hybrid trusted the attack with all her might against her opponent's chest, his heels digging into the rock as he attempted to shrug off the attack as best he could before it ruptured into a cyclone of ice and wind, seeing the Borsalino flying back by the sudden release of pressure.
Naruto's eyes widened as he saw Yamato replicate his own jutsu with her Devil Fruit's abilities, creating a sort of Hyoton version of the Rasengan. Yamato grinned proudly as she saw that she managed to land a serious blow against the seemingly overwhelming opponent. Looking at her hand, she saw several lacerations on her palm and wrists from the rupturing of her Rasengan.
"Not bad," Kizaru said as he stood back up after the attack. His suit's shirt had been shredded by the jutsu replica and for once, there was a serious sign of injury on his chest. The swirling mark of a Rasengan could be seen, exposed to the world. "I got a bit careless it seems," he commented, brushing some frost off his coat. "I suppose that it's time to finish this," the Marine remarked, crossing his arms together. "Yasakani no Magatama," he called out.
In a split second, hundreds of short beams of light descended onto Yamato. Yamato's eyes widened at the sheer number of attacks being launched at her. Placing her hand on the cracked bridge she formed a wall of ice between her and Kizaru's attacks. The beams however proved to be too strong, piercing through the ice. Yamato moved her head out of the way of a beam that got past her barrier.
All around her, the bridge was being torn apart each time one of the particles of light hit the ground. There were too many to dodge and her wall wasn't strong enough to hold it back. Placing her hands on the ice she tried to repair it as much as possible while it was being ripped from the other side, but one tore through and hit her in the stomach.
"Gah!" Yamato cried out as the blast exploded on her, the wall quickly falling soon after as the onslaught of attacks continued. However before she could be consumed by the rain of explosions, a golden-orange blur shot across the bridge and pulled her out of the way. Her vision was blurry, but the warm energy told her exactly whose arms she was in. "I need to get stronger," she said to him, reverting back into her human form.
"You did great," Naruto told her as they fell towards the water, where the Piece of Spadille was waiting. The ship was crowded with the sheer amount of people on it but he was able to leave on the ship's bull figurehead. Handing Yamato to one of his clones he looked up to see a beam of light streaking down toward them.
A chakra arm holding a Rasengan came from his back, intercepting Kizuru's attempt to blow up the boat along with everyone on it. The resulting burst of energy destroyed one of the bridge's already damaged support pillars, causing the entire section to collapse into the ocean. The waves generated pushed the ship away from the crumbling bridge.
Looking up, he saw the Admiral looking down at them, snow starting to fall from the sky. The chakra arm grabbed Takeru from the air as it fell along the rumble and pulled it back to the blond. The damage that had been done started to spread like dominos as more and more of the bridge broke and fell down.
He saw Kizaru pull out a Den Den Mushi of his own and talk to someone briefly before disappearing in a flash of light. In the distance, they could see dozens of Marine ships sailing towards them, Borsalino now on it.
"Get the ship to the Wind Granma!" Naruto yelled as he saw the scared look on the slaves' faces. Of course, many of them were overwhelmed with everything that had happened around them in such a short amount of time. "Don't worry, we'll make sure you all are safe," Naruto told them as one of his clones formed a Kurama avatar around him much to the shock of the former slaves and captured guards. Lifting the ship up with its tails, Kurama started to run away from Tequila Wolf and the Marine ships.
Holding his hand up over his head, multiple Rasenshurikens formed before he threw them at the ships. Kizaru called upon a massive amount of light and fired at the incoming attacks, causing them to explode over the ocean before they could hit his ship. The hurricane-like wind generated from the expansion of the Rasenshurikens forced the Marine ships back in combination with the tidal waves formed.
Kizaru narrowed his eyes at the scale of the attack. His Haki couldn't keep up with the millions of blades of air spiraling within each of the spheres. Then they finally died down, and the Piece of Spadille was nowhere to be seen, likely carried far away by the Golden Devil's fox-like avatar. "Oh well," He shrugged, knowing that there was little he could do now that they had disappeared and chasing them down would be too much of a pain.
Looking at the bridge he could tell that a few decades worth of work had been completely undone at the very least. He knew that he'd get an earful from his superiors later on, but it didn't really matter to him one way or another.
As they sailed away from the ruined bridge, hundreds of explosions went off across the length of the immense structure, destroying the support beams from miles but Kizaru paid them no mind as he headed inside the ship.
Naruto sat next to Yamato while bandaging her body. While the battle with Kizaru had been brief, his attacks had each taken a toll even on her resilient body. Despite having lost the fight, she couldn't have looked happier now. They had saved so many people from that bridge, people who likely would have died working in that cursed prison.
"It feels good, helping people," Yamato mentioned as Naruto bandaged her chest, her face slightly red at the feeling of the bandages pressing down on her mounds. "I'm glad we could save them," she said leaning back against Naruto but groaned as she felt her insides hurt from the movement.
"Hey don't move so much," Naruto said tapping the bandaids closed. "Are you sure you don't want me to heal you Yamato?"
"No, I can't rely on you for everything," Yamato said knowing that she had to get stronger as well. She wouldn't be able to fight her father and free Wano from his control if she stayed the same. It was why she wanted to fight against an Admiral, to see how she compared to the real top dogs in the world. She admitted that she was outclassed, but she felt pride in having been able to hurt him.
"You're an idiot ya know," Naruto commented as wondered if this was what Sakura felt whenever he did something stupid. "There is no harm in relying on other people, as long as you're able to move forward yourself," he told her, feeling that it was okay to lean on others for help as long as you weren't being held back by them. He knew that he was holding Ace back, his personal growth was hindered by having him so close.
"I didn't expect you to use a Rasengan," the blond mentioned earning a smile from the horned woman.
"I figured that it would work well with my abilities, but that was my first time actually using it in battle," she replied having been working on the technique in secret to surprise him during one of their spars, but using it on an Admiral seemed like a better debut in her eyes. "What did you think?"
Naruto chuckled as he finished dressing her bandages and laid her back down on their bed. "I think you're amazing. It took me a week to learn how to use the Rasengan with a teacher, and it took my dad years to create it," he told her honestly. Of course, their methods in forming the spiraling orb were completely different but the amount of control needed was still intense either way.
"By the way, what was that thing you were going to do to help me destroy the bridge?" she asked, curious as to what it could have been.
"Hmmmm I'll keep that a secret for now," Naruto teased, giving her a quick his on the lips much to her embarrassment. "Get some rest Yamato," he told her softly, Yamato nodded her head and closed her eyes.
As he walked out of the room, he looked back one last time to see her starting to snore softly, sleep taking her.
"Hope I'm not interrupting anything," Dragon said as he approached the blond on the other side of the door. The leader of the Revolutionary Army had a rare smile on his face as he met with his ally from another world.
"Yamato's just getting some rest. How's everyone doing?" Naruto asked as the two walked down the halls of the ship. Dragon had met up with them and taken the former slaves and captive guards onto his ship.
"They seem alright. We're getting them some food and giving medical attention to anyone who needs it," Dragon replied before they entered the ship's meeting room. He watched as Naruto placed a hand on the door, black markings spreading across the room for a moment before vanishing.
"Someone tipped off the Marines," Naruto said seriously as he sat down in one of the chairs. "There is no reason Borsalino should have been on Tequila Wolf with a small armada of ships. They knew we'd be there," the jinchuuriki reported knowing that it should have been impossible for so many ships to arrive at Tequila Wolf so soon after the start of their attack.
Dragon's face grew dark at the prospect of a traitor among his men, "You can sense negativity right?" he asked, making sure that he remembered Naruto's power correctly. Earning a nod from the golden-haired shinobi. Dragon let out a heavy sigh, "Then let's go find this spy," he said knowing that he couldn't let someone leak the location of their base of operations if they ever returned.
The two walked out of the room and proceeded to board the Wind Granma. As people buzzed around the ship, orange eyes scanned over the area before they landed on a woman with wavy blond hair and blue eyes tending to what looked like a sickly Fishman. Dragon looked at the women that his subordinate's eyes had landed on.
He recalled that she'd joined them from the group of people Naruto had liberated from the Gran Tesoro. "Need some help?" Naruto asked with a gentle smile while kneeling beside her. He could feel her anxiety from being so close to him. The woman gulped as she saw Dragon coming towards her too. "So, how's Cipher Pol?" he questioned.
The blond woman responded by attempting to thrust a finger into Naruto's neck only for Dragon to catch her wrist in an iron grip. She watched as the Golden Devil slammed a sand-colored orb coved in black markings into her stomach. Those marks spread across her entire body, binding her in place.
As much as she tried to move, she found that she was completely bound by the magnetic markings. "I didn't appreciate you tipping off the Marines," Naruto said pulling his hand away while Sabo and Dragon dragged the woman away to question her in private.
Wooo glad I managed to get that out!
