Warning: This story contains M/F spanking and profanity. In this story, I use a portion of dialogue straight from the game as well as describe what is happening in the game. I have put notes in where the original dialogue starts and ends.

The original dialogue starts here. I am quoting and describing what happens in Final Fantasy VII.

Cloud arrives at Seventh Heaven and sees Tifa sitting on the steps with Marlene. Tifa looks off to the right and sees Barret. In a gentle voice, she says to the little girl sitting next to her, "Marlene," encouraging her to look in the same direction.

Marlene sees her father and she takes in a breath before letting out a giggle. She jumps from the step onto the ground. Tifa stands up so that she can be next to Marlene and greet the person approaching them.

Marlene exclaims, "Daddy! You're home!"

Barret lowers himself to pick up his daughter. His voice is deep and rough as he says, "That's right, angel, I am!"

Tifa gives the large man a warm smile and says to him, "Welcome back."

Barret doesn't even seem to notice Tifa because he doesn't acknowledge her or reply to her. He only focuses on his daughter. As he carries her up the steps, he asks her, "Have you been a good girl?"

Marlene tells him, "Yeah, I've been helping Tifa."

Barret enters Seventh Heaven with his daughter in his arms. "Oh, you did, did you? Well, well…" He lets out a laugh.

Tifa walks behind them. She stops at the door and turns around to see Cloud walking up the steps towards her.

Tifa says to Cloud, "You made it."

Cloud approaches her. He stops at the door and turns to her when she points at the white flower on his chest.

Tifa asks him, "Where'd you get that? I can't remember the last time I saw a real one."

Cloud takes the flower off of his shirt and offers it to her. Tifa is taken back by this gesture. She also looks flustered. She removes her gaze from him and looks at the ground as she lowers her head slightly. She moves her eyes to the flower and reaches out for it, taking it with gratitude.

"How sweet." She looks at him again. "When did you get so thoughtful?"

Now, Cloud is the one to look away from her. "A guy can change." He raises and then lowers his hands. "Has been five years."

Tifa doesn't understand what he is saying. "Huh?"

Cloud looks back at her again, and he changes the subject. "I need to talk to Barret."

"Right, come on in."

Cloud and Tifa enter Seventh Heaven. Barret and Marlene are sitting on two stool at the bar, watching the tv that is set up on a shelf next to three brown cabinets.

Marlene says to Barret, "Daddy, the mako place blew up. Everyone on TV's talking about it."

"Don't you worry about all that silliness. Daddy's here, and he's not going anywhere tonight."

Tifa goes behind the bar. As Cloud stands at the end of the bar, only two stools separate him from Barret.

"Now turn that thing off and let's get you to bed, huh?" Barret says to his daughter.

Tifa asks Cloud, "Do you mind keeping Marlene company until I'm done with this?"

Cloud places his hands on his hips "Me?"

"Yeah, you."

Cloud walks over to Marlene and Barret who are still sitting on the bar stools. He stands behind Barret and looks at the man.

Barret doesn't look at Cloud as he says to him, "Yeah, yeah, your money. Ask Tifa. She takes care of all that."

Cloud walks over to stand behind Marlene. He doesn't exactly know what to say, but he is still trying to do the favor for Tifa. "Uhhh…"

Marlene jumps down from the stool and runs around to the side of the bar. She stands at the corner of it so that she can peek at Cloud.

Out of anger and protectiveness, Barret bangs his fist upon the counter. "Hey!" He walks over to Cloud and pushes him hard enough to send Cloud back a few steps. "The hell you think you're doing scaring my daughter like that?!"

"Daddy says never talk to strangers," Marlene voices.

Her words distract Barret. Her father grunts and turns to Marlene. "That's right honey. I do say that. What a good girl you are, remembering Daddy's lessons." He starts walking over to Marlene.

Marlene giggles with a hint of pride for remembering the words of her father and being praised. She smiles up at him.

Barret bends down as he says to his daughter, "You know what else good girls do? They go to bed on time." He puts an arm out and scoops up Marlene. "C'mon."

"But I'm not tired! I wanna talk some more, Daddy…"

Barret starts walking back over to the bar stools as he carries his little girl. "Mmm… Alright—but just this once."

Tifa lets out a deep breath and looks at Cloud. She says to him, "So, then! What can I get you?"

Cloud walks back over to Tifa. "My money. I'm still waiting on it."

"Ah… Right…" She walks around the counter and through the little gate-like door so that she can get to Cloud. She stops right in front of him. "About that… We should talk. Outside."

Cloud and Tifa head toward the door.

As they walk out, they can hear Marlene speaking to Barret. "Um, Daddy…did the people who died all return to the planet?"

He assures her, "Of course."

Tifa opens the door. She walks down the steps with Cloud following her. Once they pass the steps and are in the street, Tifa turns around to look at Cloud.

She says to her friend, "Before we get onto money, there's an empty apartment in a place just down the road. It's nothing fancy, but I was thinking you could stay there for now. The landlady's a big friend of the cause, so you wouldn't even have to pay rent! Sound good?"

"Sure does. Thanks," is all he responds with.

"Follow me then!"

Tifa leads Cloud through the streets to where he will be staying.

Out of curiosity, Tifa asks him, "How was it up on the plate?"

"It was…chaotic," he tells her, not really wanting to explain what happened.

"Sorry for dragging you into all this. It was wrong of me to put you in danger like that. I promise I won't do it again."

"Danger's part of the job. Don't worry about me."

"I'll try not to." She can't promise him that she will, she can only say that she'll try because she cares about him deeply.

"Always happy to help stick it to Shinra," he adds.

After a few seconds of silence, Tifa inquires, "So, you make nice with everyone?"

"Much as I could all things considered. Maybe not enough for them."

"Good, you had me worried. You're not exactly a people person."

"I'll give you that."

Tifa and Cloud stop at Tifa's room. She turns to look at him and says, "Room 201 here is where I sleep. Don't have time for much else, what with Seventh Heaven and all. Not even time to decorate." Tifa and Cloud walk a short distance to the apartment right next to hers, room 202. "Here's your room—202. Don't worry, I already told the landlady about you."

Cloud walks toward her a little. "You did?"

Tifa seems a little confused and surprised by his reaction and question. "Yes?" She then realizes something. "Ohhh, I mean I told her I had a friend looking for a place to stay. Was that too much?"

"No. It's fine." He points to the door next to his. "And this?"

Tifa turns her body slightly to look at it. "That one's, uh… Know what, it's getting late. I'll introduce you tomorrow."

Cloud opens the door to his apartment and walks in. He looks around his room from one spot.

As Tifa walks into his room and shuts the door behind her, she tells him, "It's a little bare," she turns from facing the door to facing the back of Cloud's head due to him standing a few feet away from her while taking a look at his new place, "but should be enough to get you through the night." She leans against the door with her hands behind her back. "If you want anything else, we can always get it—"

Cloud cuts her off. "There is one thing." He turns around to face her. "My money. You guys owe me two thousand, remember?"

Tifa looks down and stands up straight so she isn't leaning against the door. "I do," she starts walking towards Cloud, and we'd love to settle up, especially since this was your first job for us, but…" She places something in his hand that he has held out.

Cloud looks at the 500 gil that he has just obtained from Tifa with surprise. "That's it?"

She puts her hand down by her side. "Sorry. We spent the rest preparing for the mission. That really is it."

Cloud, with the money secure in his fist, puts his hand down.

***This is where original dialogue ends.

Cloud looks at her with narrowed eyes. "You promised I would get paid when I got back. I risked my life on the plate, and you're telling me it was all for nothing? What the hell, Tifa?" He takes a step closer to her.

Tifa was prepared for this type of reaction. She thought her plan through before, and the outcome is just how she pictured it.

She says to him, "I knew you wouldn't go if I said I wouldn't be able to pay you."

His eyes open slightly out of disbelief. "That's your excuse?! I can't believe you lied to me just so you could get me to do what you wanted. Do you not realize how manipulative that is?"

Tifa pauses so that she can think about her choice of words. She keeps herself calm and composed. "I know that. I realize it was wrong to put you in that kind of position, but I had no other choice. I needed you to do the job."

"That doesn't matter, Tifa. We're friends. Friends don't lie to friends."

"You're right, Cloud." She can't bring herself to look into his light blue eyes.

Cloud, on the other hand, has no problem looking directly at her. He grabs her chin with a grip that is neither harsh nor gentle. He forces her to look at him.

She is a bit shocked at first, but it wears off and turns to surprise. "Cloud, what are you doing?" Her brows furrow in confusion.

Cloud only smirks as he looks into her deep red eyes. "You're going to look at me when I'm talking to you. When will you get me my money?"

Tifa hesitates, not wanting to tell him the truth. "Cloud, it's…it's getting late. Can we talk about this tomorrow?"

"No, we're discussing this now. I didn't complete the mission in that hell hole for you just to come back to nothing. When will you pay me the two thousand that I earned?"

"I…" She sighs, realizing she can't escape this conversation. "I can't get it to you. I'm sorry. Everything I earn has to go to the cause. I would pay you if I could, but I just don't have the money to give you what you need and support the cause at the same time."

These weren't the words Cloud wanted to hear. He looks at her with darkness in his eyes. "You're saying you won't pay me?" His grip on her chin tightens, making Tifa uncomfortable.

"I'm so sorry. There was nobody else that could do the mission. They were either unqualified, busy, or unwilling to work without getting paid. It was so discouraging, so when I found out you weren't doing anything…" She stops, unable to bring herself to finish her sentence.

"I was the only one left that you could go to, so you weren't going to risk me telling you 'no.'"

"Yeah…" She feels disappointed in herself, completely ashamed.

She feels him release her jaw. Thinking that he's about to send her away, she is instead surprised when she feels him grab her arm. He leads her over to the bed and sits down. Cloud pulls her close to him so that she is standing by his right side before he quickly yanks her across his lap.

Feeling even more surprised than earlier, she finds herself asking him, "Cloud, what the hell are you doing?!"

"I'm getting justice and payment at the same time. What you did to me was fucked up. You sent me somewhere dangerous, and you promised to pay me for completing the job. Then, you tell me you won't pay me at all. You lied to me, manipulated me, and used me. I'm not some object that you can just send here and there. You really broke my trust here, Tifa. That's why I'm going to spank your ass until it's a darker red than your eyes."

Her cheeks glow crimson with embarrassment upon hearing the "s" word, a word that she can't even bring herself to think. Tifa lifts her head. She tries to look at him over her shoulder. It is painful for her neck as she strains it so that she can see him, so she eventually turns back to looking at the floor.

"You can't do this to me," she tells him as she tries to worm her way out of the punishment that she definitely does not want to take.

Cloud laughs at her. "I got you over my knee, so I'm pretty sure I can do this to you." That being said, he grabs the hem of her black mini skirt and lifts it, letting it rest on the lower portion of her back. He keeps her pressed against him by circling her waist with his left arm. He looks at her sculpted rear that is partially covered by black panties. He wants to pick her up and start kissing her while letting his hands roam all over her body. A little voice in his head brings him from the fantasy in his mind to reality. He slides her underwear down her toned thighs to her knees, causing Tifa to gasp.

Tifa clenches her legs tightly, thinking it will preserve some of her modesty. "Cloud, let me go this instant!" She is flustered to the core. She hates that her bare butt is on display for him right now, and she doesn't even want to think about the humiliation that will follow.

"You're not in a position to make any demands. Get comfortable because we're going to be here for a while."

Cloud raises his hand before letting it fall upon her soft skin. Tifa sucks in a deep breath due to the initial pain and squeals when she feels the second slap. Cloud's direct smacks are methodical and rhythmic. He goes from her right cheek to the left one back and forth while alternating spots so that she can't predict where the next one will specifically land. He keeps a steady beat as he paints the white canvas in front of him pink.

Laying over his thighs is not something Tifa would consider a good time. She desperately tries to scramble off of his lap by twisting, wriggling, kicking, and pushing against his legs. She is unable to avoid his punishing hand due to being trapped against his body. Tifa can tell just by looking at Cloud how strong he is due to his muscular arms being bare, but she never imagined he would be able to keep her body pressed across his knees with a singular arm.

He continues to discipline the young lady, deeply satisfied with her grunts and cries of pain. The pain is beginning to amplify as he works places he has already covered. Cloud can tell that the punishment is working as he lets his hand fall on the lower parts of her cheeks, her sit spots, and her upper thighs.

The pain she is forced to endure is making her frantic to escape from her position. She wants him to stop so badly, and she keeps crying out to him, pleading for him to end the punishment. Her words fall upon deaf ears, though. Begging, kicking, and squirming are futile. She isn't strong enough to breakout of his grip. Everything she tries only leads to failure. Despite all of this, she continues to struggle against him.

After another round of him spanking her sore cheeks, Tifa throws her head back and shouts, "I don't want this, Cloud!"

He doesn't pause as he replies to her in a calm voice. "That really isn't my problem."

"This really hurts!"

"Good. I'm glad it hurts. You hurt me, Tifa. You deserve this, and you're getting all of it."

Tifa feels frustrated at the thought of him not doing as she says, and the pain he is inflicting only adds fuel to the fire. She screams as her head falls, tears splashing against the floor and forming a puddle beneath her face.

Cloud's hand comes down hard and strong, like a harsh rain pounding against a street. Tifa is not receiving any leniency here, nor will she in the near future. Her rump has gone from a dark pink to a deep shade of red. As the intense sting sinks deeply into her ass, Cloud's message sinks deeply into her mind. She finally realizes that what she did wasn't justified. She made up an excuse and lied to a close friend just to get ahead in the game. She wanted the cause to win so badly that she was willing to damage her friendship for it. Feeling completely horrible and guilty, she goes limp across his lap.

Cloud sees the progress he has made in the punishment, but he doesn't stop yet. Tifa's punishment will be just as severe as her actions, but he is glad to see that she has submitted to what she has coming. Due to her not struggling anymore, Cloud seizes an opportunity. He removes his black leather belt from around his waist and folds it so that it will be easier to wield. He makes sure that he is holding the metal buckle, not wanting to do too much damage to Tifa's ass.

The way he executes the first strike of the belt is excruciating. Tifa shrieks and begins to squirm again, so Cloud's arm snakes around her waist a second time. Her struggling leads her nowhere again, and she finds herself growing tired of kicking her legs as Cloud sets her skin on fire with the belt from hell.

He applies the belt to her naked and cherry red bottom in lines from the middle of her bottom to the middle of her thighs. The belt travels down and up, down and up more than several times. By the time Cloud has given her a total of 25 lashes, he sets the belt down on the bed and takes a moment to admire his work.

Her bottom, once a creamy white, is now redder than blood with a couple of angry welts. Tifa sobs loudly into her arms as she hangs over his lap. The pain she is feeling is worse than any punishment she endured from her childhood.

"Tifa, it's over." He rubs her back in a comforting way.

She hears him, but she doesn't acknowledge his words. All she can do is wail into her crossed arms.

Cloud helps her up. As they stand together, Tifa wraps her arms around him and cries into his chest. A little bit surprised, but not opposed to this at all, he hugs her back. He lets Tifa have as long as she needs in order to calm down. He rubs her back and supports her, and a few minutes later, her crying dies down to sniffles.

Tifa looks up at Cloud with red, puffy eyes and a tear stained face. "I'm so sorry, Cloud. I won't lie to you or manipulate you ever again. I'm so sorry I sent you on a mission that I never intended to pay you for. I really am. Will you forgive me?"

Cloud nods. "I forgive you. We're alright now."

Tifa smiles, her heart warming up at the thought of the damage she did being repaired. She pulls away from the hug, and Cloud puts his arms down by his sides.

She tells him, "It's really late. I should go home."

Cloud knows she lives right next door, but he doesn't want her to go. He waits until she is done fixing her underwear to say, "Why don't you just stay in here with me? You live right next door. This place can't be much different than yours."

She was not expecting that, and it shows on her face, but she accepts his offer. They lie down on the bed together, Tifa on her stomach and Cloud on his back. He pulls Tifa up to his chest so that he can hold her. She relaxes, takes a deep breath, and closes her eyes.

THE END.

P.S: I really hope I was able to do the story in the game justice. I also hope you enjoyed this story.
