The hotel that the veggies were staying at was far from modest—with massive, gold tiki statues in the lobby, but looked absolutely beautiful. Once they all checked in, the first thing they did was head out to the beach.
"O-kay!" Mr. Lunt exclaimed. "First order of business, someone bury me in the sand!"
"Way ahead of ya!" Pa replied, already digging a massive hole in the ground.
Meanwhile, Larry and Petunia were relaxing on the sand, when something surprising happened...
"Hey, HAOLE!" A coconut exclaimed.
"I'm a cucumber." Larry replied. "And what does that even me—"
"White people." The coconut replied.
"But I'm green!" Larry replied.
"The point is, if you're thinkin' of comin' here, you gotta prove yourself." The coconut said. "There's a surfin' contest, and if you win, ya get plane tickets to Hawaii FOR LIFE."
And with that, the coconut rolled away.
"Don't listen to him." Petunia replied.
"I'm signin' up for the surf contest." Larry replied.
"What?!" Bob overheard this conversation and shook his head quickly in disbelief. "But you don't even know how to surf!"
"The contest requires that if I don't know how to surf, I get some guy to show me!" Larry smiled. "HERE HE COMES NOW!!"
A very attractive male asparagus emerged from a wave on the beach, with blonde hair and wearing red and green swim trunks. Once he surfed onto the shore, gulls flew over him as his blond hair was thrown back to the wind, dolphins leaping behind him. He gave a wink at Larry and replied;
"Aloha...they call me Nalu...so you're my student? Let's get started."
"WOW.." Bob's mouth fell agape, staring at Larry's surf instructor. "He's so gonna win that contest."
