The Doctor Meets The Flash
Introduction:
"Barry... Allen was it?" The Doctor looked puzzled. "Aren't you from a comic book?"
Barry laughed, "I could say the same thing about you! Doctor... Strange was it?"
"No, no, definitely not! Just, just call me The Doctor."
"I think we have a more pressing matter at hand!" Barry said, as the Daleks closed in on them.
"Right, you know what to do! Run!"
Chapter One: The Beach
[Eight hours earlier.]
The Doctor was just standing in the control room on The TARDIS. A time machine, that travels through time and space. It is important to note that, though shaped like a police box from the 1950s on the outside, the TARDIS is bigger on the inside. Rooms upon rooms, neverending.
The Doctor had too much time on his hands, and had decided to travel the world, to avoid something. His song was ending. But not before he changed the world. Or stopped somewhere to relax. Nothing was too much, or too little for The Doctor. He just wanted to get away from it all. He wanted to run.
He for some reason, though he was running away from everything, ended up on a beach. On Earth. In a place where he had never been before. You could hear the TARDIS from a mile away as it landed. As if it didn't want to be here. But The Doctor did. He just wanted to get away.
His long brown coat was flowing in the wind as he stepped out of his blue box. He was wearing his normal sand shoes, so stepping out into the sand just felt right. But the beach... oh, why did he have to choose the beach? He had said goodbye to one of his very close friends on a beach... twice. But somehow, he wasn't even thinking of that. For that one small moment, all he was thinking about, was nothing.
Clearing his mind was not an easy thing to do. He hadn't thought of nothing for, seven, or eight lifetimes? Who's counting? He just felt, at peace. Just for a moment, though. That moment very quickly left him.
The Doctor heard screaming and running. And that wasn't something you normally hear on a beach. He looked towards the chaos, and saw about forty people running away from something, or, someone?
"Wait, what is THAT?!" The Doctor said.
A massive Gorilla was chasing the crowd of people. He heard more screaming from another direction. More running. He whipped around to see another thirty people running out of the water!
"What?!"
He couldn't believe his eyes. Coming out of the water, was a, sort of, fish man?
"Where have I landed?!" The Doctor wondered.
"KILLER SHARK!" someone screamed, as they ran with the crowd, away from this, killer shark!
Wanting to talk to the people running by, The Doctor tried asking some of them a question. He decided to start running alongside some of them.
"Hey, what is this place?!" The Doctor asked an older man with white hair. The man was wearing glasses. He looked at The Doctor and said, "How do you not know where you are?!" He then ran a little faster to get away from The Doctor.
A woman started running alongside The Doctor and asked him, "You're new here, aren't you?"
"Why yes, yes I am," The Doctor said, "and I would really like to know where I am. I thought I was on a beach in France!"
Still running with the crowd, the woman looked at him and said, "You're a long way from France. What was your name?"
"Doctor."
"Doctor? Doctor of what, exactly?"
"Exactly!" The Doctor smiled.
"Well, Doctor, whatever--"
"Not Doctor whatever!" he interrupted her. "And what are we running from? A killer fish man?"
"His name is Killer Shark, and we thought we had him contained."
"We... what? Who? How would you contain a killer fish?!"
"Doctor," the woman said, "you ask too many questions! Come with me."
She grabbed The Doctor's hand and veered away from the crowd back towards the TARDIS.
"Where are we going?!" The Doctor asked.
As they kept running, The Doctor started to feel dizzy. "Blimey, that's not good," he thought. "I don't usually feel this feeling!" He felt a pain in his hearts. He let go of the woman's hand and fell to the ground.
The woman looked at him and said, "Are you okay?! We just need to go a little further!" She took his hand to help him up. "Just over here!"
The Doctor got up. They were walking right towards his TARDIS. Surely this woman wasn't taking him to his TARDIS. Was she?
"Come on, Doctor!" The woman said, running straight for the TARDIS.
The Doctor was about to say something, when she veered to the right of the TARDIS and then to the left, ending up back behind it.
"There!" she said, pointing to a small car.
"Wait, come with me back to the TARDIS, it travels much fast--" The Doctor fell to the ground and grabbed both of his ears. "WHAT IS THAT NOISE?!" he cried.
"I, don't hear... Doctor, I think you need a Doctor. Here, let me help you."
She helped him into the passenger seat of her car, got into the driver's seat, and they started to drive away.
"But wait, we need to take the TARD--"
The Doctor passed out.
