It's the Holiday's Bruiser and Growler!
The two Rusherz were watching people ice skate around a large lighted tree. They watched in confusion as the tree sparkled on the ice below...
Bruiser: You know they light it?
Growler: Liberty says it's a tradition here...no clue why since these humans have so many traditions and believes...
Bruiser: I know but...where do we fit in?
They both sighed as they turned around and headed towards the tables, their emotions noticed by some of their friends who were visiting the ice rink.
Darkflare: Seems their down about something...
Steed: I'll check on them.
Steed got up and walked over to them.
Steed: Hey, you two alright?
Bruiser and Growler turned to the Bronco, seeing the concern in his eyes.
Bruiser: Not really, i mean this place is great but, well...
Growler: We feel out of place.
Steed gave a look of understanding.
Steed: We know the feeling, we felt the same way when we first found out about the holidays.
Growler: Y-Yeah..
Bruiser looked away. Steed was silent, thinking about what to do, till a light bulb lit in his head.
Steed: Hey, how about you two help us with the Holiday concert this year!
Bruiser: You-You want us to help out with a concert?
Steed nodded.
Steed: What better way to know the holidays then hearing tales and songs of old!
Growler: What do you think? Sounds like a good idea to me.
Bruiser was still unsure, but it was a good start. He nodded in agreement.
Steed: GREAT! I'll let the others know! The concert is going to be playing at Radio City hall.
They both nodded, a bit curious on what was going to happen at this concert.
Radio City Hall, 3:00 P.M...
Bruiser and Growler walked in from the cold, hearing the instruments around. On stage a group of teens were conversing with eachother while the other Rusherz tried to calm everyone down.
Orange: Can-Can everyone please!
A loud screech was heard by Skully who had silenced the chit chat.
Skully: Thank you.
Liberty: Now, can we please have a nice time, this is some of our friends first time celebrating the holidays...Oh! Bruiser! Growler! Over here!
The two walked over, stares on them and some whispering amongst others.
Teen male 1: Look at them.
Teen female 1: They kinda look scary.
Teen male 2: Would they want to celebrate the season?
Teen female 2: What if they attack us!
Teen female 3: I heard they attack eachother once, one even bite someone!
Bruiser blushed in embarrassment as Growler gave a low growl.
Ollus: BEHAVE.
Silence filled the room.
Soar: Alright, now lets take it from the top...Dusk?
Dusk nodded, lifting the conductors wand before the upbeat music played.
Bruiser: What song is this?
Pros: 'Linus and Lucy' from the Peanuts specials, for some reason they love playing it this time of year.
Growler: *Tapping his foot* Got a good beat.
It was then a screech made everyone cover their ears in pain, the teens laughing at the trumpet player made that sound.
Freefall: Was that called for?
Trumpet Player: Yes... his tapping caught me off guard.
Growler: *scracasim* Well aren't you a ray of sunshine.
Trumpet Player" Yeah, yeah, tell you orange psycho not to make noise either.
Bruiser flinched at that while the other Rusherz gave him glares.
Arnie: Please let us be civil, Bruiser and Growler never had the chance to celebrate neither of the holidays and I'm sure they would appreciate it if you all were understanding. Now *takes out his flute* How about we do it only THIS time some of us Rusher who can play instruments will help.
Claw: *Takes out violin* Good idea Arnie, everyone ready!
The Rusherz with instruments lifted their's as Dusk started the music again. Growler was bopping, but he made sure he was quite this time. Bruiser gave a small smile listening to the music...it was nice. It was until one of the trombone players slide mechanism was pushed too hard and went flying, hitting Bruiser in the face as he fell on his knees and the music stopped, the Rusherz going to him to check on him.
Bruiser: S-Son of a-
Teen female: Now look what you done! He's probably going to bite us just like he did with the Raven!
Bruiser froze as did the others.
Bolt: Were you spying on us! How did you-
Teen Female: This lady with green hair told us! She saw him attack!
Teen Male: See! How can they celebrate the holidays if they are nothing but monsters!
Bruiser eyes shrank, Growler anger rising.
Growler: Hey! We didn't ask to be test subjects to a mad man!
Drummer male: Just leave them alone their not hurting anyone.
Teen Female: Why didn't you-
?: Does that mean you think of us as monsters too.
They turned to see Sting, Steamer, Slash, Pros, and Rebel in the door, Pros having gotten them inside.
Sting: Well, are we?
Trumpet Male: Wha- NO!
Slash: Then how come they are considered monsters when we went through the same thing?
Teen female: Well, we just-i mean they look-
Rebel: Your judging them by their looks?

Flute Player female: *to her* You are the worst!
Steamer: You guys are jerks, judging someone by looks instead of merits and hearts.
Pros: You all should be ashamed of yourselves.

The Rusherz froze as they looked around...Bruiser was gone. Sonar and Soanria looked at the map of New York...
Sonar: Guys, he's not in New York City.
Canton Ohio wilds, evening...
Bruiser tears stung his eyes as the snowstorm hit him. His bare feet hurting from the frost as he walked.

Bruiser sobbed, he wasn't like the others...he might have escaped but the Anticorian Army still held him in their grasp, making him feared...All he wanted was somewhere where he was belonged.
Meanwhile...
The Rusherz searched the Areas around Canton, from the city to the townships. Arkon, Sting, Liberty, Freefall, Ollus, Luka, Triton, Growler, Geraldino and Black shivered as the wind blasted them in the woods where they were searching.
Arkon: Bruiser! Bruiser where are you!
Geraldino: This snow is relentless.
Growler: He has to be somewhere...he couldn't have gotten far in this.
Triton: Do you think he's alright?
Liberty, Freefall and Arkon looked at eachother.
Freefall: I only pray he is-
It was then they heard the sound of ice breaking, which promoted them to run over to the large frozen river seeing the new hole in the ice.
Black: Someone must of fallen in!
An orange paw gave them the answer...the horrifying one.
Ollus: THAT'S BRUISER!
Luka and Geraldino quickly but lightly skated over to the hole, seeing the bubbles.
Luke: CRICKY HE FELL IN! CALL THE OTHERS ASAP!
Bruiser felt his world go cold, trying to swim back up to the surface...was winter water always like this during snow. His breathe was struggling to stay in him as the cold was hurting his body despite having fur...was this how he was going to go...alone-
*Freefall: My name is Freefall, what is your name?
Bruiser: B-Bruiser
Freefall: Nice to meet ya Bruiser!*
He felt tears sting him again.
*Scavenger: Let's take you back to the HOK before the rest wake up. They'll be worried about you if you get lost.

Bruiser unfortunately made the mistake of gasping in the water, closing them. His vision swam, but he saw a glimmer of hope in the form of grey and teals...
Ever Rusher waited in fearful silence till Sonar, Triton and Sonaria came up, holding the gasping Bruiser in their arms.
Clyde: THEY GOT HIM!
The three quickly made it to land avoiding making anymore ice holes. Bruiser was shaking, ice clinging to his fur. Growler ran over and hugged his close friend tight.
Growler: He's freezing...is he awake?
Triton: He passed out when we got out.
Lasso: *Giving Triton a towel* You guys made it just in time.
Freefall: He's not out of the woods yet. We need to get him warm up fast.
Dusk: Let's head home to the HOK fast then.
Red: For once no argument, lives are on the line!
Growler gentle lifted his friend up.
Growler: Hold on Bruiser-
Bruiser slowly crack open his eyes towards everyone.
Bruiser: I-I'-m-S-So-So-So-rry...
Growler: It's completely fine...
Bruiser: I-I-I-L-love-y-yo-you-a-all..
Bruiser curled into Growler back into unconsciousness as the portal was made and everyone jumped in.
Bit later...
First thing Bruiser felt was warmth. The feeling of warmth on her face and draped over him. The next thing Bruiser did was smell, the smell of wood burning and warm cocoa. Finally, he slowly opened his eyes. Bruiser was laying on the couch, a warm blanket made from Steamer's sheep wool. The fire was blazing around the decorated rooms. Bruiser felt someone holding his hand and he turned to see Growler, tears of relief on his face.
Growler: Bruiser, thank goodness your awake.
Bruiser: Growler...I-I'm so sorry for running off, i just-i was worried i was going to ruin the fun for you and the other but...i want to celebrate with you guys.
He saw that the others were in the room, happily smiling in relief as well.
Mira: Thank goodness your all right.
Bruiser: J-Just tired...i just-feel really drained.
Freefall: You fell through ice cold water, your body had a shock response to that. You are very lucky that we heard you and got to you just in time.
Harper: Sonar, Triton and Sonaria jumped in to retrive you before you drowned.
Bruiser turned to the three who were in warm cloths.
Bruiser: Thank you.
Sonar and Sonaria smiled as Triton blushed with Lasso ruffling his head.
Chief: We all pitched in to warm you up when we got back here. Growler haven;t left your side when we were getting stuff.
Arkon: You going to be alright?
Bruiser: Yeah, thanks to you guys...I-I'm not a monster, you guys more than prove that to them in more ways..though i know a certain person who can be called that.
Toro: We'll deal with her after the holdiays.
Bruiser: Yeah, i want to spend it with you guys.
Bruiser buried his head into Growler's shoulder, Growler giving a warm smile.
Growler: Not the idea of celebrating the holidays for the first time, but then again nothing is normal around the zone.
Lotus: This world is pretty strange.
Yellow ran in holding a card.
Yellow: HEY GUYS! LOOK WHAT WE GOT!
Everyone crowded together looking at the photo.
Liberty: Seems the Break Fast zone sent us a card.
It was all the Mascots and NBA Rusherz in a photo, smiles on their faces as the top said 'HAPPY HOLIDAYS; FROM THE BREAK FAST'.
Bruiser: Still interesting knowing that there are Rusherz outside the NFL.
Growler: Just mean we have a bigger family.
Bruiser nodded in agreement as Yellow placed the photo next to theirs, a family of Rusherz from different past, together in the present, and looking forward to the future together with new friends to look forward too. And Bruiser and Growler would not change a thing.
