Kim Possible: The Sitch Of College: Shorts

Chapter 1: Cooking Class

AN: Here is a series of short stories I decided to make for my Sitch Of College storyline. This chapter takes place between my first college and my second college story. Also, it might have mentioned in my previous college story that Kim and Ron's cooking class was at 4:00, but I decided to change it to 5:00. I made the correction in my previous story as well. And don't worry, I'm still working on my Sitch Of College: Bad Girl story. Also, I used the cooking class scene in Sabre's college story as a reference, so special thanks to him.

It was 5:00 in the afternoon. Kim and Ron were sitting in a kitchen in Starlight University. It was a couple hours after they had their recent sitch with their current arch foe, Bonnie. After they had something to eat with Marty and his friends, regardless of what time it was, they went back to their apartement to get ready for their cooking class. They then went back to campus and made it to their cooking class on time. There were ten two person working stations so Kim and Ron were sitting at one of them. Ron was very excited to continue improving his cooking skills as well as helping Kim improve hers. Kim, however, was a little nervous. She was getting better at cooking thanks to Ron, but she was still worried she might destroy the kitchen.

"Alright, KP, are you ready for this?" Ron asked Kim.

"Ready as I'll ever be," Kim said with a smile.

She was shaking a little indicating that she was nervous which did not go unnoticed by Ron.

"Kim, it's ok," Ron assured. "I know you're nervous about messing up, but with everything I've taught you about cooking, I'm sure the chances of you destroying the kitchen are way low."

Kim chuckled, "Gee, thanks."

Ron chuckled with her.

"I'm sorry, Ron. I just don't want to mess up in this class," Kim explained. "Because if I don't prove that I'm a good enough cook, they'll transfer me out of this class. And the last thing I want is to have any class away from you."

Ron smiled warmly and put a hand on Kim's shoulder.

"Don't worry about a thing, KP," Ron assured. "As long as I'm around, I'm sure you won't mess up."

Kim gave Ron a loving look.

"Thanks, Ron," Kim said gratefully. "I don't know what I'd do without you."

They felt like kissing each other, but resisted the temptation as there were other small groups of people in the kitchen as well. And they promised Kim's dad they wouldn't embarrass themselves in public.

After what seemed like a minute, a man came into the kitchen. He looked Italian and he was wearing an Italian chef uniform.

Good afternoon, everyone," the man said in an Italian accent. "I am Chef Luigi Savio and I will be your instructor for this food preparation basics class. Now I will take attendance. When I call your name, raise your hand."

Chef Savio took attendance and stopped when he got to two certain people.

"Kim and Ron Stoppable?" he called out.

"Here!" Kim and Ron called in unison.

"Jinx!" Kim quickly said. "You owe me a soda after class, Ron."

"Great!" Ron groaned.

Chef Savio chuckled, "Well, it will certainly be a pleasure having both of you in this class."

"Thank you, Chef Savio," Kim replied. "Ron has been teaching me a lot about cooking. I just hope I don't mess up."

"Do not worry, Mrs. Stoppable," Chef Savio assured. "I am sure you and your husband will be fantastic in this class."

Kim and Ron smiled in response.

After that, Chef Savio continued taking attendance.

As soon as he was finished, he turned to the class.

"Alright, class. Today, we will be learning about the basics of cooking," Chef Savio announced. "Learning how to cook, how it works and how to use cooking tools. So let us begin."

As soon as class was over, Chef Savio made one last announcement.

"Alright, class, I want to commend all of you on your efforts today," Chef Savio announced. "And next class, I will be giving you an assignment."

The class listened carefully to hear what Chef Savio was going to assign.

"Each of you partner up and work together to prepare a dish of your choice," Chef Savio announced. "You will then be serving it to me and a few other chefs who work here for tasting."

This made Kim grow nervous.

"Do not worry, your dish does not have to be perfect," Chef Savio clarified. "And this assignment is just to test your familiarity with cooking. Good afternoon to all of you."

With that, the entire class left the kitchen.

Kim and Ron exited the kitchen and walked out of the building. Ron was feeling a little excited about this assignment while Kim was feeling nervous.

"Can you believe it, KP?" Ron said in excitement. "This is our chance to show off our cooking skills. Booyah!"

"Booyah!" Rufus said, popping out of Ron's pocket.

"Yeah, it is," Kim said chuckling nervously.

Ron noticed Kim's nervous mood.

"Hey, don't worry, KP," Ron assured. "I know you're nervous about what the chefs will think of your cooking, but we'll be working together. And with what I've taught you and what I already know about cooking, I'm sure we'll do great."

Kim smiled, "Thanks, Ron. I hope so."

"So do I," A voice that didn't like Kim appeared.

Kim and Ron stopped walking and turned to see Giselle walking toward them with a smirk on her face.

"Because if you mess up each other's cooking, they'll have to suggest a new class for either of you to take," Giselle taunted. "And that would mean you two would have to take a class separate from each other. And we wouldn't want that now would we?"

Kim and Ron scowled as Giselle simply walked off.

Kim sighed, "Looks like Giselle's pretty much made it her mission to make our lives miserable."

"Hey, don't listen to that Bonnie wannabe, Kim," Ron assured. "As long as we work together, we'll do just fine. And don't worry, I'll be there for you."

"Ok, Ron," Kim responded with a smile. "I know I said this too many times, but I don't know what I'd do without you."

"I'm here for you, Kim," Ron assured with a warm smile.

The two shared a quick kiss before they continued walking back to the sloth.

"So what kind of dish do you want to make, Ron?" Kim asked.

Ron thought for a moment. Then an idea popped into his head.

"I've got it!" he said excitedly.

"Got what?" Kim asked curiously.

"We could make spaghetti and meatballs," Ron suggested. "It's easy to make and if we work together we could make it even better. It's perfect."

Kim did look interested.

"Hmm, ok, spaghetti and meatballs it is," Kim responded with a smile.

"Booyah!" Ron said ecstatically.

About a week later, Kim and Ron had their next cooking class. They made just what they decided they would make: spaghetti and meatballs. Kim and Ron did pretty well working together gathering all the ingredients they needed for the recipe. And Ron suggested a few other spices to make it even better too.

The dish of spaghetti and meatballs was sitting on the table at Kim and Ron's work station in the kitchen. Chef Savio volunteered to try it. He tasted some strings of spaghetti and then he tried a meatball. He was delighted by the way it tasted. He was also impressed by the way he observed Kim and Ron working together as a team.

"Good job, Mr and Mrs Stoppable," Chef Savio congratulated. "Your ability to cook as well as your ability to work together have exceeded my expectations."

Kim and Ron smiled at Chef Savio's positive feedback. They were happy that they did well on this assignment. Kim herself was happy that she would be able to stay in cooking class with Ron and that she didn't destroy the kitchen.

"And Mrs. Stoppable, I must say you made a fine cook as well as your husband," Chef Savio commended. "With a little work, I'm sure you will be a great cook."

"It's no big," Kim said with a wave of her hand. She put an arm around Ron. "I've got a great cooking tutor."

Ron smiled.
