The Hope From Heaven

Chapter 1:

Jonathan and Mark are driving in Eddyville Kentucky, Mark has a Country music station playing on the radio. Mark is singing along while Jonathan is trying to endure it. Jonathan says to Mark, "Pull over, stop the car and turn off the radio."

Mark pulls over, stops the car, turns the radio off and asks, "What's wrong Jonathan, was my singing getting to you?" He Chuckles.

Jonathan responds with a slight grin and says, "Cute Mark, cute, but we need to get serious, the Boss just gave us an assignment. He just revealed to me the situation and the people involved whom all are hurting very deeply."

Jonathan explains the human tragedy in detail to Mark and says, "About 10 years ago..."

Jonathan and Mark fade out to the actual occurrence 10 years ago... Christmas 1977, Bing Crosby on the record player playing, "I'm Dreaming Of A White Christmas..." At the Roberts family home Christmas dinner is over and Susan, the wife and Bobby, the son are washing dishes Richard, the husband is in the living room relaxing. He works for the Kentucky State Prison and had to spend all Christmas Eve and most of Christmas morning cleaning the prison. Somehow some of the inmates got a hold of some red and green paint and started splattering the floors, walls, ceiling and prison bars and each other. One inmate in particular poured red and green paint all over a prison guard and said, "Looky, looky, the Christmas monkey." Then there was a fight and one of the guards got his eye poked out. Needless to say Richard was on edge.

Bobby was drying a beautiful glass his father gave his wife on their first Christmas and says, "Looking through the glass my hand look funny," then he accidentally drops it and it shatters all over the kitchen floor.

The father angrily got out of his recliner chair took his son by the collar of his shirt and shook him saying, "How many stinking times have I told you to behave your stinking stuff? You piece of trash!"

The wife interceds and says, "Richard, Dear it was an accident, Bobby didn't mean it."

Richard pushes her to the floor and says, "Shut the blazes up, you WITICH!"

Susan is shocked at her husband's behavior.

Richard takes Bobby throws him outside and says, "You're no son of mine, you shame me. Leave and never come back."

Susan gets it's up off the floor and tries to calm Richard down walking toward him she says, "I know you're tired but please calm down let Bobby come back inside it's Christmas."

With Susan saying, 'It's Christmas' it triggers something in Richard to make him associate forever Christmas with chaos and his "stupid" family.

Richard in more of a rage slaps his wife with the back of his hand -- right hand, left hand and right hand again, left hand again all the way back to the kitchen and one final blow knocked his wife to the floor crumpled in in the shattered glass unconscience.

Bobby outside, hearing the commotion screams out, "MOMMY! MOMMY! MOMMY!"

Bobby's father is enraged so much he says, "Bobby your mother is dead!"

Bobby in anguish says, "NOOO, MOMMY!"

Richard throws Bobby's presents out at him, his Christmas bike of which the handlebars hit Bobby's arm knocking him down tearing his shirt sleeve, his basketball which bounces off Bobby's leg and his new piggy bank with $3 of pennies in it shattering all over the street.

Richard left and was never seen or heard from again in 10 years.

Fading back to 1987 Jonathan continues, "But Bobby's mother didn't die she is at Nehushran Mental Hospital. She is almost completely out of out of her mind. She has dark spots around her eyes and Bobby is now 18 years old and in 2 days from now he will rob a store and murder innocent people unless we get to him in time."

A poof of smoke and a hideous figure appears on the hood of Jonathan and Mark's car. Horns, Red Suit, Tail, Pitchfork.

Satan laughs, "You'll never get to them in time, HA HA HA!!!!"

He vanishes and all four tires go flat. Mark says, "Him again... I might have known."

Will Jonathan and Mark be able to get to Bobby in time?
