This is my first Dansen story as well as being another Supercorp fanfic. This fanfic is based after 5x19. What if everything with Leviathan and Crisis made a few people realise how important life is?

Lena's lab:
After defeating Leviathan, Alex Danvers walked into the lab to see Kara sitting alone with Lena nowhere to be found. The dark blown haired woman walked over towards the sister as Kara turned around, the sisters hugged each other with a smile.
"Alex! Thank Rao, you're safe." Kara exclaimed and Alex patted her sister on the back. "Is everyone else okay?" Kara asked and Alex nodded.
"Yeah but Brainy isn't," Alex spoke which shocked Kara. "From what we found at his location, he inserted some kind of virus which stopped them. But from M'gann could tell, he died within some kind of force field which is harmful to anyone apart from those part of Leviathan." Alex explained which made Kara feel terrible.
"Poor Nia. She must be heartbroken about Brainy." Kara spoke as she was feeling terrible. "The day I get Lena back into my life, Nia loses Brainy from hers." Alex placed a hand on her sister's shoulder to comfort her.
"Kara!" The Danvers sisters turned around to see Lena walking towards her. "I overheard about Brainy. I'm so sorry." Lena apologised as she hugged Kara which made the Kryptonian feel a little better.
"Thank you for helping us, Lena." Alex thanked her and Lena nodded with a smile. "And we're sorry for hiding secrets from you." Lena then pulled Alex into the hug which made the three happy.
"Now, if you two don't mind, I have a company to take back." Lena told them as she turned around and pressed a few buttons on a keyboard: it showed photos of Luthor Corp and . "I'm going to take back and rename Luthor Corp to L-Corp." Lena told them which surprised both Kara and Alex until Alex checked her phone to see the time.
"Sorry but I got to go." Alex told them then she ran off which made Kara and Lena think what was Alex rushing for.
Obsidian North:
Meanwhile, Kelly was in her office while looking through their records to see that roughly four fifths of their customers had handed in their Obsidian lenses. She was just about to leave her office when her boss, Andrea Rojas, walked in and she didn't look happy.
"Kelly, why have most of our customers handed in their lenses?" Andrea asked as she handed a report to Kelly.
"After what Lex was planning and Supergirl revealed it to the world, people want to experience the real world again." Kelly explained to her boss then picked up her handbag. "Now if you don't mind, my girlfriend and I have a fun night planned with friends." Kelly told Andrea then she walked past her boss and towards the elevator.
The Tower:
Before Alex went to her apartment, she decided to pay J'onn a visit as she wanted to talk to someone as she had something on her mind. When she walked in, she saw J'onn standing on the balcony and looking up at the sky.
"What's on your mind, J'onn?" Alex asked then J'onn turned around and walked down the stairs. "Where's M'gann?" Alex asked as she couldn't see her friend.
"She's gone to check on Nia," J'onn told her and Alex nodded. "What about you? How's the Hand Of The Soldier?" J'onn asked as he looked at Alex's right hand and she was still wearing the Martian watch.
"It's going great. I've finally mastered it." Alex was smiling as she looked at the Martian watch. "It helped a lot in that fight." Alex was smiling and just as she was about to talk again, when they heard the sound of a zipline coming towards them so Alex used the Martian watch to create a gun while J'onn stood ready for a fight.
"You should be nicer to your friends." A female voice spoke as a figure in a red and black suit landed on the balcony. Alex and J'onn looked closely at their guest to see that it was Kate Kane aka Batwoman.
"Kate, what brings you to National City?" Alex asked as Batwoman walked down the stairs then removed her cowl. "Do you need help in Gotham?" Kate shook her head. She then surprised Alex by handing the cowl to her and Alex looked up at her.
"I'm stopping being Batwoman but I know someone who could take the cowl." Kate explained which surprised Alex: she was being asked to be the new Batwoman. "Are you willing to take up the mantle, Alex?" Kate asked and Alex nodded as she wanted to help her family and friends.
"It would be an honor to take up your mantle, Kate." Alex smiled then she watched as Kate walked away to change into the normal clothes she had with her. "J'onn, do you think I'll do a good job as Batwoman?" Alex asked her mentor and J'onn nodded with a smile.
"I don't know anyone else, apart from Kate Kane, who could do an amazing job as Batwoman." J'onn told her which made Alex smile. A while later, Kate reappeared in her normal clothes and she placed the Batwoman suit on the table.
"It's all yours." Kate told her which made Alex smile, she walked over to it and checked it out. "I hope to see you again." Kate smiled then she shook Alex's hand, she walked off while Alex looked at her new hero suit.
"Go try it on." J'onn suggested and Alex nodded, she picked up then ran off to try it. Just as the door closed, the secret door opened and in walked Kara and Kelly. "Hello you two. Is everything okay?" J'onn asked with a smile.
"Yeah. Kelly couldn't find Alex so we thought she would be here." Kara explained then they saw the door to the bathroom open, they watched as Batwoman walked out which surprised Kara. "Kate, what are you doing here?" Kara asked but they were surprised when Batwoman removed her cowl, revealing herself to be Alex Danvers.
"Alex?" Kelly asked as she couldn't believe her girlfriend was wearing Batwoman's suit. "When did you become Batwoman?" Kelly asked and Alex smiled as she walked towards the two women.
"Just recently. How does it look?" Alex asked and Kelly smiled, she got closer to Alex then kissed her lips. "I'm guessing you like it, beautiful?" Alex asked and Kelly nodded.
"You look amazing! It looks like you were always meant to wear it." Kelly told her and it made Alex feel happy. "Just be careful when you go out there." Kelly told her and Alex nodded. Meanwhile, Kara walked up towards the balcony then looked out at National City: she had been about something important, it was actually someone important.
Luthor Corp:
Lena was on the phone to try and get the name of the company changed to L-Corp, she was about to put the phone down when the doors opened and in walked Alex. Lena smiled as she got up and walked over to her friend, the pair hugged then sat on the couch.
"Is everything alright, Alex?" Lena asked as she still felt terrible about betraying her friends. "I still feel terrible about how I hurt Kara, you and the others." Alex smiled then held Lena's hand.
"Water under the bridge, Lena." Alex told her which made Lena smile. "Anyway, I'm here for a different reason. I was wondering if you could help me with something." Alex asked and Lena nodded with a smile, she got up and walked over to the side and poured herself a glass of scotch.
"How can I help you, Alex?" Lena asked with a smile, she was curious to know how she could help. Alex got up and walked over to the window, she looked at the city then smiled.
"I was wondering if you could help me pick something for Kelly? I would ask Kara but she's gone to talk to Nia, she wanted some advice about something." Alex explained and Lena nodded then she walked over to Alex.
"What do you plan on getting your girlfriend, Alex?" Lena asked as the pair sat back down on the couch, Lena handed Alex a glass and they continued talking.

Kara and Nia were sitting out on the balcony talking about how their lives were going. Kara went silent as she looked around them, there was no one near so Kara took her glasses off and rubbed her eyes.
"Nia, I need help with something." Kara brought up which surprised Nia as she didn't know what her best friend wanted to talk about. "If I told you something that no one else knew, could you keep it a secret from the others?" Kara asked, she already trusted Nia but she wanted her best friend to promise to keep her secret.
"Kara, you know I wouldn't tell anyone anything unless you say otherwise." Nia promised which made Kara smile. "What is it you wanted to tell me then?" Nia asked as Kara put her glasses back on.
"If I told you I was falling for someone who I shouldn't, what should I do?" Kara asked as she wondered if her friend could help her. Nia thought carefully about how she should answer the question.
"Can I ask who this someone is? That way, I know what to say." Nia explained and Kara knew she was right as her friend didn't know who Kara liked. Kara leant over to Nia and whispered the name into her ear. "Wow!" Was all that Nia could say at the time, she then started to think while Kara turned and looked at the city.
"Do you think the love I want could be forbidden? Like we weren't meant to be?" Kara asked then Nia shook her head and held Kara's hands.
"There is no such thing as a forbidden love. Just because you two are from two different families, doesn't mean their problems are your problems." Nia told Kara and she nodded as she knew Nia was right. "As for my advice: I would say tell her. If you don't, you might never get a chance as someone else might turn up and take them away. And you'll be left with that regret for the rest of your life." Nia explained as Kara listened, she nodded as Nia was right.
"Thank you, Nia." Kara thanked then she smiled. "I need to go. Can you tell Andrea I had something important to do?" Kara asked and Nia nodded with a smile. The pair hugged then Kara ran off as she wanted to tell the one she loved how she felt before she lost the chance. Nia smiled as she was happy to help Kara get the courage to reveal her true feelings, she then walked over to her desk and got back to working on an article about Supergirl and her Super Friends.
Chapter 1 is ending here, I want to keep you all in suspense as I don't want to reveal too much too early. What do you think Alex has in store for Kelly? And who is the mystery person that Kara is in love with?
