Chapter 2:

All four tires of Jonathan and Mark's car have been flattened by the Devil and Mark asks, "Jonathan, could you like reinflate the tires?"

Jonathan is getting a message from God so he doesn't say anything at first, Mark calls, "Jonathan, Jonathan."

Jonathan replies, "We need to wait at the Bank across the street."

They walk over to the Bank and wait, not too long after a man comes toward them with a cane swinging it a little back and forth pleading "Help for the blind, help for the blind, please help, please help."

Jonathan puts a $20 bill in the man's can and tells him it's $20. While Mark in suspicion waves his hand in front of his eyes to see if the man really is blind. Then the man walks away.

Jonathan and Mark are still standing in front of the Bank building, Jonathan is weeping, Mark asks, "What's wrong, Jonathan?"

Jonathan answers, "Mark he really is blind, he is also part of our assignment. He's Richard Roberts and all these years of guilt over thinking he killed his wife in a rage and rejecting his son he really did love them both. He started getting severe headaches which put pressure on the eye nerves and he went blind. He's been going around begging for 8 and half years living in a pitiful instance of begging and going hungry most of the time. He used to be a husky, healthy and vibrant man. He went from 225 lb to about 90 lb now."

Mark replies, "So what do we do to help?"

Jonathan answers, "We have to got him to his family to make amends and heal. We got to give them hope especially Bobby before he wrecks his life forever."

Mark and Jonathan walk back to the car. Mark gets comfortable behind the steering wheel. Jonathan is sitting in the passenger seat and Mark asks, "Again so could you reinflate the tires?"

Jonathan answers, "Done!"

Mark enthusiastically says, "Operation HOPE, here we come!"

Jonathan grins.

Mark starts to pull off and Jonathan puts his hand on Mark's arm and says, "Wait!"

Just then all of a sudden a zooming car nearly collides where Mark's car door would have been if Mark had immediately pulled off. The car's bumper sticker read, "SATAN RULES"

Mark says, "Whew, wow that was a close one!''

Jonathan replies, "He did say he would try to slow us down."

Mark answers, " Hey, Jonathan I'm still confident and you know why? Cause the Boss is bigger than Satan and we are on the winning team."

Johnson replies, "Amen! And Hope to the rescue," he says with both thumbs up.

Mark agrees and they drive off to rescue the Roberts family.

What will happen at the Roberts place?
