Hiccup being three years old now, learn to cope with everyone ignoring him or didn't care about him when he got hurt or someone said a mean thing like he should have been thrown into the ocean for Odin to take him.
Hiccup understood what they were saying and what that means towards him and just went on his way ignoring them like they didn't exist and wrote in his diary about his day. The only four that cared about him was Gobber, Gothi, and Alistair and Ingrid Hoffersons.
Astrid always found him weird and annoying being around them and hang with Ruffnut alot being the only two girls their age in a village.
He had two moments with his father and then he got busy worrying about the villagers more than himself.
One was he came down the stairs because he was thinking about his mom and saw his father sitting in a chair stroking the fireplace and sat on his knee and listened to his father talk about his mom and how she was.
The other moment was when he took him to the cliff and told him about the Hidden World of Dragons at the end of the ocean.
He looked at the horizon curious about what the Hidden World would look like and where it was located.
After that, he felt like they started drifting apart from each other.
One day, he was walking around the village minding his own business and walked into a scene where Ruffnut and Tuffnut setup a prank to destroy the village and they fled the scene leaving him to take the heat for it.
After that, Stoick stuck him with Gobber and told him "you now have an apprentice to look after while I take care of the village and keep him out of trouble."
Hiccup tried to tell him that it was Ruffnut and Tuffnut that made that prank but didn't care to listen to him.
So he decided that no one gave a care about his word, he wouldn't care about any of the villagers or what happens to them.
After work, he walked into the forest to be alone with his thoughts.
He found a hidden Cove in the forest and would go to it and draw drawings of things that made him smile.
Sunset, Bucket taking care of his sheep. Mulch fishing, villagers doing their things. Even did a picture of Snotlout, Astrid, Fishlegs and the twins in a group picture and then each separate. A herd of Terrible Terrors.
A mother Nadder caring for her babies and would shed a tear when he stared at it.
No one came looking for him because they never bothered to care about his wellbeing.
He remembers the song that Ingrid and his mom made up.
When he went to bed, he would sing that song and fall asleep smiling at the memory of his mom.
He worked on a song about being alone.
As he grew up being Gobber's apprentice learning about weapons and making them stronger.
He developed his own way of making his weapons better than any other weapons made by Gobber.
He drew up the design plans for catapults to launch boulders that weigh four hundred pounds and took five guys to lift the boulder on to the catapult.
He never took the credit for the design because they would destroy his creations for bad luck knowing it would make him feel sad.
He understood why Hiccup The First left his home to live in wild west and became a first king of the wild west and Hiccup The Second left to find a new home and had a family.
Hiccup sat in the Cove alone until night time came and walked home to cook a fish for dinner.
He never told anyone about how he felt because the other kids would use it as bullying him.
Gobber always comfort him when he felt upset.
Ingrid would pop in to check on him at noon everyday to keep her promise to his mother.
Alistair would teach him a few defence moves in sword fighting but always failed a couple times and practice with it every other day behind closed doors so no one could find out that he was practicing sword fighting.
Stoick would say a few things to him about his day.
Hiccup sighs and understood what it means to feel dead inside.
He looked up from his drawing and saw the sun setting and says "another day of being alone and no one comes calling your name."
He looks at the picture of himself sitting by a Terrible Terror with curious eyes and smiles "another drawing complete."
He gets up and puts the sketch book in his vest and hears a croon and turns around to see a Terrible Terror looking at him and says "uh hi there little one."
The Terror chirps at him. Hiccup curious ask "do you want something?"
The Terror croons and writes in the dirt 'I came to check on you, Dragon Soul. The Storm Cutter sent me to tell you that your mother is doing good saving dragons from dragon trappers'.
Hiccup smiles "my mom is alive?!"
The Terror nods his head and writes in the dirt 'why do you seem so sad, Dragon Soul'?
Hiccup sighs "I been alone since my mom was taken away from me and only four people in this village care about me."
The Terror croons at the sadness in his voice and writes 'don't give up hope on finding a friend to away your loneliness'.
Hiccup nods his head to the Terror.
The Terror nuzzles his leg and leaves him.
Hiccup smiles at the Terror and says "at least I got a home with dragons, if I decide to leave Berk for a new home."
He walks through the forest to his house. When he reached the tree line to see no one around, he sighs "I guess everyone is in the Great Hall eating dinner and no one even bothered to come looking for me. Shows just how much I matter to these people."
He walks inside his house and pulls out a fish and a knife and starts filaiding the fish and then cooks it over the fireplace.
After the fish is cooked he takes a bite and says "not bad for a nine year old boy and thanks to Gobber teaching me how to cook fish and Ingrid teaching me how to cook boar jerky. Alistair teach me a few moves in sword fighting alone. Gothi showing me how to clean my wounds and Gobber also showed me how to remove an arrow in a limb and dress the wound."
After eating the fish for dinner, he looks around the house to see his dad still isn't home and sighs "another night alone. Sometimes I feel happy being around dragons more than I do being around people that think I mean nothing to them."
He walks upstairs to draw more sketches of Terrible Terrors and baby Nadders.
Two hours later, Stoick comes home drunk tired from the long day and sighs "Hiccup must be asleep by now."
He goes in his room and goes to sleep not knowing that Hiccup walked down the stairs to see him walk inside his room and shut the door with a sad expression on his face and whispers "doesn't even come and check on me to see if I'm okay" and goes back upstairs and goes to sleep.
Next morning, Hiccup woke up and got dressed and headed downstairs to make himself breakfast since his father is hungover.
He sighs "I wish I could live with dragons than live in this village with people who don't care about me."
After making himself oatmeal and eating it, he leaves the house and walks down the hill to the Forge to work on fixing broken weapons.
A few minutes later, Gobber walked in to see Hiccup sticking daggers in heater to heat up the metal for hammering and says "I see you already started working without me."
Hiccup sighs "Gobber, I feel better living with dragons than living here on Berk."
Gobber puts on his apron and looks at him and ask "do you know that saying something like that is cause for exile or being outcasted?"
Hiccup nods his head "yes I know that, but living here only makes me sad because no one else besides you, Gothi and Alistair and Ingrid Hofferson. The other kids my age don't even come talk to me."
Gobber sighs "it's okay Hiccup, I know that it may get bad for you, but you can't give up hope. They will come around sometime."
Hiccup sighs "I don't think it will ever get better for me, Gobber. I feel sad watching the other kid's parents care for them and tell their children that they love them and give them kiss or a hug, but I don't get any of that. Dad never once told me he loves me or hug me or does anything with me."
Gobber sighs and walks over by him and gives him a hug "I know it's sad to feel that way, Hiccup."
Hiccup sighs "last night, dad came back home drunk and didn't even come check on me to see if I'm okay. I mean, if I got sick and was dying, no one would give a care about me and just be happy that I'm gone."
Gobber sighs "I wouldn't be happy that your gone, Hiccup."
Hiccup smiles at him and gets back to work straighten out daggers and knives.
Gobber watches him work thinking about Hiccup growing up without feeling loved.
Lunch time came and the end of his shift for lunchtime. Hiccup sighs and takes off his apron and heads out when Alistair came by and ask him "how have you been today?"
Hiccup sighs "I feel fine, just been thinking about my life and how it could get any better."
Alistair smiles at him "don't give up hope on how your life can get better."
Hiccup smiles "I'll try not to give up on hope no matter how bad my life gets."
As days go by, he struggled with his hope of his life getting better with dealing with him and his father drifting apart, villagers treating him like a bad omen.
The other kids thinking he's annoying, always trying to join in the talk only to get the cold shoulder or harrassed about his image or being treated like an outcast.
At ten years old, he made his first weapon which was a double bladed axe made for Valkyrie to protect Odin himself engraved with Valkyrie on one side and a Divine Beauty on the other side.
The handle was made of oak wood which was the strongest wood with spiral design crisscross up and down the handle. The blades were made with a little stronger metal and polished shiny.
He made it for Astrid's birthday since her father, Alistair requested Gobber to make him a double bladed axe for his ten year old daughter's birthday.
Hiccup requested the job to see what he could do as make weapons, which Gobber gave him permission and he a little likeness of Astrid as a person because she had this flame to her, but was never given the chance to talk to her, because everyone treated him like an outcast.
Ingrid always heard her daughter talk about how he tried to talk to her and would stutter in embarrassment and she would walk away with her group of friends that would bullied him or play pranks on him or destroy the village and blame him for it.
She figured that Hiccup would grow up to be better than the other boys to marry her daughter.
Whenever she mentions Astrid's name and his crush on her, he would blush red in being caught and would just say he has no chance with her, because of what he is, a hiccup.
