Hiccup was sitting on the hill thinking about his relationship with Sophie and how they been dating a year now without any arguments between them. Their both fifteen and they both were almost sixteen and he was thinking about asking for her hand in marriage, but had to figure out how to when her parents disowned her over a lie.

He knew that the Chief Clayborn could marry them if he ask him too. Toothless croons at him "hey Toothless."

Toothless claws in the dirt with his nail 'what has you so upset?'

Hiccup sighs "I want to ask Sophie to marry me, but a heir ask her parents for their daughter's hand in marriage and her parents disowned her over lie and the only other way is to ask Chief Clayborn to marry us."

Toothless claws 'what's stopping you from asking her to marry you?'

Hiccup sighs "Astrid told Thuggory that I would never be a good husband to any girl or make them happy, because of who I am."

Toothless claws in the dirt 'your scared that you won't be a good husband to Sophie?'

Hiccup nods his head "yes, Toothless."

Toothless claws in the dirt 'have you been a good boyfriend to her since you two started dating?'

Hiccup smiles "yes, she tells me that I'm a good boyfriend to her and we tell each other that we love them."

Toothless claws in the dirt 'then you have nothing to worry about, Hiccup. Maybe ask Sophie if she believes you will turn out to be a good husband to her and if she says yes, propose to her.'

Then a voice said "Hiccup? Toothless? What are you two doing here on the hill?"

Hiccup and Toothless turn to the voice to see Sophie standing behind them looking puzzled.

Toothless claws up the messages so Sophie can't find out that they were talking about marriage.

Hiccup smiles "I came here to calm myself because I'm scared of something."

Sophie ask "what are you scared of?"

Toothless leaves to the two alone and goes home.

Hiccup smiles "do you believe I'll be a good husband to you if we got married?"

Sophie gasped at his question and ask "why would you ask me if you would be a good husband for? You already turned out to be a good boyfriend to me. Being a husband means your to bind our lives together permanently until death parts us."

Hiccup sighs "because of my ex."

Sophie smiles at him and walks up to him and leans down to kiss him passionately before saying "I planned on marrying you at sixteen after we manage to date for two years without having problems between us."

Hiccup gaped "you plan on wanting to marry me if we manage to date for two years without any problems?"

Sophie smiles brightly "yes and I'm surprised that you never once tried to get touchy with me when we kiss."

Hiccup smiles "uh, my mom said that the girl should lead on that part for the first time."

Sophie smiles "how is your mom anyways?"

Hiccup smiles "she is doing good, protecting the dragons at the dragon Sanctuary."

Sophie ask "do you ever talk to that Gobber person on Berk anymore?"

Hiccup sighs "actually, I haven't been to Berk since I left at fourteen years old."

Sophie ask "would you train me a dragon as a wedding gift?"

Hiccup smiles "if I help you train a dragon, is there a dragon in particular that you want to ride?"

Sophie smiles "a male Deadly Nadder, they kind of have beautiful color scales like rainbows."

Hiccup smiles "do you want to join me on taking a trip to Berk for a visit, because I feel like something bad is going to happen on Berk?"

Sophie smiles "okay, let me just get our masks and hoods so we don't get recognize."

Hiccup smiles and follows her to their house to grab their masks and hoods to cover their heads.

First, Sophie tells Sarah and Britney that their making a trip to Berk for a visit and that Hiccup has a feeling that something is wrong on Berk.

Sarah smirks "are you sure, that he isn't taking you to a place alone to get in your pants before your wedding?"

Britney smirks "that would be a very bold move to take you on a getaway trip to have sex with you before your wedding ceremony."

Sophie gaped at them "girls! I'm not that kind of girl to sleep with my boyfriend before our wedding. Plus we haven't once cuddle together in one bed yet."

Sarah gasped "he's been living in your house and been dating him for a year and you two haven't cuddle with each other at night?!"

Britney gaped "I'm surprised you never snuck into the guest room to watch him sleep or crawl into bed with him."

Sophie sighs "you'll never believe what he asked me tonight?"

Sarah ask "did he propose to you?"

Sophie smiles "he was scared to ask me to marry him."

Sarah and Britney squealed "oh my, he proposed to you!"

Sophie smiles "in a scare question due to his ex-fiance, but I reassured him that he will be a great husband to me. Just has to make me an engagement ring or buy one."

Sarah ask "he was scared of asking you to marry him?"

Sophie sighs "he suffered from extreme depression on Berk because they made him feel like he didn't belong there and because he wasn't treated like a fiance and she told Thuggory that he would never be a good husband or make her happy and I been patient with him to help him out of his depression."

Britney's eyes widened "did you just say Thuggory as in Thuggory Meathead?"

Sophie gasped "yes, but I don't think he's from Meathead Tribe."

Sarah ask "wasn't he a musclear boy, that every girl was swooning over him? Heir to Mogadon The Meathead and the one who ask you to sleep with him at thirteen?"

Sophie rubs her arm "I don't know for sure, but Hiccup might know from his memory of meeting the heir."

Britney ask "didn't he propose to his ex-fiance the night he eavesdrop on their conversation?"

Sophie gasped "he is going to be so mad at Thuggory and at that Astrid girl for thinking that Thuggory is better than him."

Sarah smirks "you better hurry up and meet Hiccup before he blames us for keeping you here and you might want to tell him about the Thuggory memory."

Sophie smiles "maybe it will show Astrid that you can't judge a boy by how they look without even getting to know them personally?"

Sarah and Britney push her to the door "go have fun on your visit to Berk and when you get back, we better hear that you at least snuggled with him in the same bed!"

Sophie returned home to see Hiccup packed for two days worth and ask "was it Thuggory Meathead who proposed to your ex-fiance Astrid?"

Hiccup looks at her and answers "yes, he proposed to my ex-fiance and she basically accepted it after saying she would divorce me. Why?"

Sophie's eyes start watering and he ask "what's wrong, Sophie?"

Sophie sighs "he was the boy who lied to my parents and got me disowned."

Hiccup's eyes widened "you mean to tell me that boy was the one who ask you to sleep with him at thirteen years old and lied about you sleeping with him for revenge and a year later has the nerve to ask my ex-fiance to marry him after she divorced me?"

Sophie nods her head yes at him "he ruined my life at thirteen years old."

Hiccup wraps his arms around her waist and hugs her "he won't be ruining anymore lives after I say something and I'm curious about how my ex-fiance is doing with being single and facing the villagers knowing how she treated me."

Sophie smirks "I wonder what she would think if we told her I'm pregnant with your baby?"

Hiccup gaped at her and says "no, because she would probably commit suicide knowing that I didn't want to forgive her."

Sophie sighs "I've heard of a story from my mom when I was little that the only way that a person is redeemed after hurting someone is to admit your deepest feeling for that person when you fear they are dying and can't live without them."

Hiccup ask "why would the person have to be dying for the other person to admit what they feel in order to be redeemed?"

Sophie sighs "I think it had to do with one who dishonor themself by doing something awful to a person and the only way to redeem themself to that person is to admit the truth about how you feel for that person."

Hiccup sighs "well if that is how you redeem yourself, then it would have to be very deep and passionate."

Hiccup and Sophie climbed on top of Toothless and the three head to Berk.

Sophie smirks "speaking of passionate, you won't believe what the girls expect from us?"

Hiccup sighs "what girls?"

Sophie smiles "Sarah and Britney, my bridesmaids for our wedding as soon as you put a ring on this finger."

Hiccup smiles "so what did those girls expect from us?"

Sophie smiles "they expect us to snuggle in a bed together since we haven't cuddle while we been dating for the whole year!"

Hiccup sighs "you know I would snuggle with you, if you ask me to. Remember I didn't feel welcome in my village and no one wanted to hang with me. They made me feel like an outcast."

Sophie smiles "well if they find out who you are, I would stand by you and tell them I'm your girlfriend, and thinking about getting married after we turn sixteen."

Hiccup smirks "that would definitely show them that there was a girl who loved me. Astrid would definitely blow up in rage or breakdown and cry or push it aside like it doesn't even bother her like I didn't matter to her."

Sophie smiles "well if they discover it's you with me, she will be jealous over me being with you."

One hour forty-five minutes later, Hiccup and Sophie touched down in his secret Cove. Hiccup smiles "ready to see what Berk is like for two days?"

Sophie smiles "ready to see how this village could make a tradition of treating a boy like you as bad as an outcast."

Hiccup pulls on his mask and hoodie with Sophie following his lead.

They walk through the forest until they come out of the tree line. Hiccup looks to the sun to see that it was dinner time and everyone would be in the hall.

He leads Sophie to the Great Hall. Sophie ask "do you want to reveal yourself or no?"

Hiccup smiles "I think revealing ourselves would raise a bunch of questions and me arrested for training a dragon possibly."

Sophie smiles "so what and I doubt they would arrest you with the threat of a Nightfury laying waste to this island with an army of dragons from your mom's nest which is our backup team."

Hiccup opens the door for Sophie and says "these have been the best days of my life dating you, Sophie."

Sophie blushes under the mask and says "thank you, Hiccup and you been the best boyfriend of my life too."

Everyone stop eating and talking to stare at the two mask people wearing hoodies.

A villager ask "who are they?"

Stoick gets up and walks over to the two strangers and ask "can I help you two with something?"

Hiccup looks at Sophie and turns back to his dad and ask "is the village in danger?"

Stoick sighs "we been suffering from dragon raids, more after my son ran away on his Nightfury."

Hiccup ask "do you feel sorry for how you treated him?"

Stoick bows his head "yes, more than anything."

Hiccup sighs "he is alive and found a home and a new love that he plans on marrying next year."

Stoick ask "you know where he is at?"

Hiccup sighs "yes, I know where he is at and I have to ask, do you want to see him tonight?"

Stoick sighs "I would like to see him again and tell him I'm sorry for everything and could use his help with dealing with the dragon raids."

Hiccup looks at Sophie who nods her head yes at him. They lower their hoods to reveal one with auburn hair and one with light brown brunette hair color.

Stoick whispers "Hiccup?"

Hiccup and Sophie remove their masks. Hiccup smiles "hi dad."

Sophie smiles "it's nice to meet you, Chief Stoick."
