Hiccup gaped "no! I would never put you through that no matter how angry, they get over it."

Sophie shakes her head at him and says "not me, her!" Pointing to Astrid and says "Although I'm happy that you weren't going to put me through that."

Hiccup turns to Astrid who was looking scared at being forced to perform a public consummation in front of the whole village if she married him and sighs "Astrid, I would never put you through something like that. That's the difference between me and every guy here."

Stoick scowls "and how would you get out of it, if you were to get married here?"

Hiccup smirks "you really don't want to ask me that, because the answer is a black dragon and will throw you out of the house if I ask him too."

Stoick sighs "fine then."

Snotlout smirks "Hiccup can't make a his wife perform a public consummation, what a lame husband and I'm his cousin!"

Sophie was about to hit Snotlout, but Hiccup stopped her to see Astrid punched Snotlout in the nose causing him to fall on his ass.

Astrid scowls at him "at least he doesn't force a girl to do something that she doesn't like or want!" She walks over to Hiccup and kisses his cheek and says "that was for saying that you wouldn't make me perform the public consummation if we were to have gotten married" and looks at Sophie's shocked face and says "take care of him for me, please?"

Sophie smiles and nods her head "yes, I'll take care of him for you."

Hiccup just gaped at the two girls beside him and sighs "what just happened in front of me" and passes out from the overwhelmed shock.

Astrid holds Hiccup's right hand while Sophie holds his left hand and rubbing his forehead, calling his name "Hiccup, Hiccup wake up!"

Soon Hiccup opens his eyes to see everyone surrounding him and Astrid holding his right hand and Sophie holding his left hand and ask "am I missing something that happened between you two girls?"

Astrid and Sophie look at each other and say "Friends."

Sophie giggles "uh Hiccup, what would you do if I decided to share you with Astrid here?"

Hiccup sighs "uh that would be really weird in front of the villagers. Having two beautiful girls with me in one bed. Plus awkward with one being ex-fiance and the other new fiance."

Astrid smiles "oh quiet you, and I'm flattered that you would suggest that Sophie, but I would have to decline that offer to share Hiccup with you because there would be a good chance for both of us to get pregnant with his child and have to explain why the two children are half siblings and why we date him together."

Sophie gaped "good point."

They help Hiccup back to his feet and smile at him.

Astrid smiles seductively at him "I'll stay single for you for how ever long it takes for me to a second chance with you, Hiccup."

Hiccup smiles "you may be waiting awhile in the future."

Astrid blushes "will you promise me that if something happens between you and Sophie that you will give me a second chance to get to know you?"

Hiccup smiles "sure, Astrid."

They go to bed in their houses.

Sophie ask "um, Hiccup is there a law here that states a boy and a girl can't sleep in the same house because they are dating or engaged?"

Hiccup sighs "actually, it has to do with the girl remaining pure until her wedding night because if a girl loses her purity before marriage, it reflects on her family's name and the father gets to castrate the boy who took his daughter's purity."

Sophie sighs "can I stay with you since we're in a different village and I feel uncomfortable being around these villagers that wronged you?"

Hiccup smiles "sure" and leads her up the hill to his old house and realized that they don't have any pajamas to wear and says "our clothes are in Toothless's saddle bag."

Sophie smiles "well then it's a good thing I grabbed this before we left Toothless in the Cove" revealing a small bag of their pajamas and a fresh pair clothes for tomorrow.

Once inside Hiccup leads her upstairs to his bedroom and looks around the room "just the way I left it."

Sophie curious ask "won't your father be mad, that you brought your fiance to your room and assume that we had sex?"

Hiccup laughs "if I remember correctly, he's a deep sleeper and the sex part would be if you wanted it."

Sophie blushes at his answer and says "I'm surprised Astrid didn't want to share you with being scared getting pregnant, but I wouldn't mind if she display a little affection towards you to show that she wants a second chance at showing you that she to get to know you as a close friend."

Hiccup sighs "and you think I'm cheating on you with her."

Sophie shakes her head "no, if I think she earned forgiveness for how she treated you, incase something happens to me, I would like for you to go back to her so your not alone again, promise me?"

Hiccup sighs "I promise, if anything happens to you and we can't be together anymore, I'll move on with Astrid."

Hiccup smiles "I'll let you have the room first to change into your pajamas" and begins walking out of the room.

Sophie smiles at his sweetness for her privacy and stops him from leaving the room and says "babe, stay and change with me, because we just got engaged tonight and I don't mind you seeing me in my bra and panties."

Hiccup blushes "are you sure you don't mind because this is something I would get a lecture about seeing my fiance in her bra and panties?"

Sophie sighs "Hiccup, you really didn't grow up with a parent figure to teach you about girls, but you sure do know how to be respectful to girls?"

Hiccup pouts a little "yeah, I didn't have anyone to teach me about girls until after I found my mom up North during the time I was engaged to Astrid and she told me to be respectful to girls and when the change clothes, it's better leave the room unless they trust you enough to change in front of you and how to be sweet to the one you love."

Sophie whispers "but you never got the chance to experience it, because no girl in this village hung out with you as a friend?"

Hiccup shakes his head "no, I was given to Gobber after three years old. Gothi taught me about healing, Astrid's father, Alistair trained me a little in fighting with a sword. Astrid's mother taught me how to treat girls like queen, but no I never got the chance to experience having a friend or a girlfriend."

Sophie wraps her arms around him "it's okay, Hiccup. It's okay, we lasted almost two years now and we are now engaged so I would say that any girl that heard of some of our dates we had, I'm sure they would be jealous and regret never taking the chance to get to know you personally."

Hiccup smiles "thank you, Sophie for the support and having my back."

Once they change into their pajamas, they climb into his old bed and go to sleep. As they sleep, Sophie snuggles into him laying her head on his chest and thinks about being married to Hiccup when they get back to Gaul.

Next morning, Stoick opened his son's door to see Hiccup sleeping soundly with his fiance snuggle up to him sleeping as well and scowls "Hiccup! You know the rules about sleeping with a girl in the same bed! Even if you two are engaged now!"

Hiccup and Sophie jolted awake to the yelling, to see Hiccup's dad standing in front of them with a scowl on his face. Hiccup sarcastically responds "good morning to you too, dad."

Sophie scowls "do you have any respect for your son or do you enjoy making him feel worthless! I mean you come in his room and wake us up and say we're not allowed to snuggle with each other, when Hiccup explained to me your rule about why boys and girls aren't allowed to sleep in the same bed!"

Stoick scowls "then why are you two sleeping in the same bed then?!"

Sophie yells "I didn't feel comfortable asking a villager if I could have place to sleep for the night when everyone in Berk decided that treating Hiccup like an outcast was okay!"

Stoick sighs bowing his head in shame "you could of ask Astrid if you could stay with her family."

Sophie scowls "I don't care about your stupid laws or traditions because it's what broke Hiccup and now I'm trying to fix what you all did to him!"

Stoick sighs "I'm sorry, Hiccup. For everything."

Hiccup sighs "no one ever thought about me when I was living here and now all of a sudden your worried that I'm going to get my fiance pregnant before our wedding?! For your information, dad, I'm afraid of girls because of Astrid! I'm afraid of people on Berk because of how they treated me! I'm afraid of you, because you replace me as heir!"

Stoick gaped at Hiccup "your afraid of me?"

Hiccup sighs "yes, because you engaged me to a girl, who thought it was better to make me take the blame for Tuffnut and Ruffnut destroying the village because of your stupid tradition instead of treating me like I belong here!"

Stoick sighs "I'm sorry, son."

Hiccup sighs "can you leave so we can get dressed?"

Stoick gaped "you two change in front of each other?!"

Sophie sighs "we're engaged to each other! What's wrong with that?!"

Stoick sighs "here on Berk, we don't allow boys and girls to change in front of each other, whether they are dating or engaged because of suspicion of losing their purity before marriage."

For two days, Hiccup showed Sophie around Berk and what he did in the Forge. Astrid sometimes would talk to them on a friend level knowing that she has alot to make up for how she treated Hiccup when he was living on Berk and during their engagement.

At night, Astrid would cry softly regretting what she did to him and her mom would come in her room and try to comfort her.

Hiccup was working in the Forge with Sophie watching him in amazement at making weapons when Ingrid Hofferson walked in and ask "Hiccup, can I have a word with you?"

Hiccup stops what he is doing and ask "what's wrong, Ingrid?"

Ingrid sighs "it's Astrid."

Hiccup ask "what's wrong with her?"

Ingrid sighs "after we found out about how she treated you and she realized what she did wrong, she cries at night feeling heartbroken by seeing you with Sophie."

Sophie ask "how long has that been going on?"

Ingrid sighs "since the day that Hiccup left Berk over a year ago."

Sophie gasped "if she cries at night, every night, then that would mean that she is really sorry for not giving Hiccup a chance to see what he is really like."

Hiccup ask "what am I supposed to do about it?"

Sophie sighs "you would have to convince her that when you are ready to give her a second chance at love, you will date her. Remember your promise to me, that if anything happens between us that separates us from each other and you would go back to Astrid?"

Hiccup nods his head "yes, I remember our promise."

Sophie smiles "go to her tonight and tell her your promise to me and tell her to never give up hope on you two finding your way back to each other."

Hiccup smiles "I'm blessed to getting married to you, Sophie, when we get back to Gaul."

That night while Sophie was going over the list of their wedding details, Hiccup went to the Hofferson's house to talk to Astrid about his promise to Sophie about her. He admitted that he became scared of girls because of how traumatized she made him see how girls can turn their backs on you.

Astrid felt even worse when he mentioned that he was scared that Sophie would betray him at the start of their relationship.

After the promise, Astrid ask "would you stay the night just so that I know there is hope that we can get back together in the future?"

Hiccup sighs "I don't think anything good would come after that."

Astrid sighs after you left, I felt destroyed because of what I did to you and what I said about you and now with you marrying Sophie, that pain is double."

Hiccup ask "when did that pain start?"

She sighs "after you broke off the Engagement and trained the most powerful dragon in Barbaric Archipelago."
