Hiccup and Sophie were doing okay with handling marriage. Hiccup started teaching Sophie more cooking recipes that he got from villagers to try out.

Sophie started babysitting village children to experience caring for children for when she and Hiccup have one of their own baby.

Sarah ask "so Sophie, when do I hear the news that your pregnant with Hiccup's baby?"

Sophie sighs "I hope so, but won't know for like another month, maybe."

Britney smiles "it's been a month since your wedding night when you two had sex for the second time and the first time was a week before that, so maybe if you start vomiting after two weeks from now, you'll be pregnant for sure."

Sophie smiles at the thought of being pregnant.

Sarah ask "is he still sending letters to that Astrid girl in Berk?"

Sophie smiles "yes, part of his recovery to build a relationship with Astrid to give her another chance at having a relationship with Hiccup if something were to happen to me, I don't want Hiccup raising our baby alone, if we were to have one. And we agreed on the baby's name if it turns out to be a girl, the baby's name will be "Hope Astra Haddock."

Britney ask "you named her after Astrid?!"

Sophie smiles "Hiccup wanted to make sure that Astrid isn't forgotten since she was his first crush and first love before she pushed him away when they were engaged."

Sarah ask "how can he marry you and have feelings towards her and you be okay with it?"

Sophie smiles "that's easy, me and Hiccup saw how much pain she was in and didn't want her to commit suicide if we can do something about it. So we agreed to let her build a friendship with Hiccup and she won't feel like she lost him completely."

Hiccup smiles "hi girls, hi my beautiful wife" giving Sophie a kiss on her lips, causing her to blush.

Sophie curious ask "what are you doing here early?"

Hiccup smiles "I decided to take a break from my work in the Forge to see how your doing before going back to the Forge to finish repairing weapons that are damaged."

Sophie blushes while Sarah and Britney giggled "awww, your so romantic, Hiccup. We're feeling kind of jealous over you caring about your wife."

Sophie smirks "and he's all mine."

Hiccup smirks "and I feel so loved by you, my beautiful wife."

Two weeks later, Hiccup and Sophie were laying in bed sleeping, when Sophie woke up feeling nauseated before going downstairs and outside to vomit on the ground.

Hiccup woke up to see Sophie run out their bedroom door and decides to get up and follow her outside to see her vomiting on the ground and waits until she's done.

After she stops vomiting on the ground, Hiccup wraps his arms around her waist and eases her to sit down on the ground and rubs her back to comfort her. He ask her "are you feeling better?"

Sophie sighs "can you help me to the healer?"

Hiccup smiles "of course, Sophie I will stand by your side through everything."

When they reach the healer, Sophie whispers something in Bethany's ear and nods her head and lets her come inside without Hiccup.

Ten minutes later, Bethany opens the door and signals for Hiccup to come inside. He ask her "is my wife okay?"

Bethany smiles "your wife is fine, but she has good news that will make you excited."

Hiccup turns to Sophie and ask "Sophie, what's she talking about?"

Sophie smiles "Hiccup, you remember how we talked about wanting to have a family together with a baby?"

Hiccup sighs "yes, we talked about having a baby together and starting our own family."

Sophie nervously replies "it started."

Hiccup ask in shock "are you telling me your with child?!"

Sophie smiles "yes! I'm pregnant!"

Hiccup hugs her and kisses her lips and rubs her stomach where their baby is.

Bethany smiles "congratulations, Hiccup and Sophie Haddock!"

Hiccup and Sophie leave Bethany's hut. Sophie smiles "Sarah and Britney are going to be excited about me being pregnant."

Hiccup ask her "how far along are you?"

Sophie smiles "seven weeks."

Hiccup looks at her in shock "wait, seven weeks? That would mean that the first time, we had sex was a week before we got married!"

Sophie smiles "who would have thought that the first time we had sex, you got me pregnant and now we're having a baby together."

Hiccup smiles "I just hope I would turn out to be a better father than my dad, with raising him or her."

Sophie smiles "let's go tell our dragons."

They go tell their dragons, Toothless and Storm.

Toothless and Storm were playing soccer with a coconut when Hiccup walked over to them with Sophie and says "hey Toothless and Storm, guess what?"

Toothless tilted his head in wonder.

Sophie smiles "I'm pregnant."

Toothless smiles his gummy smile and nuzzles them both lightly. Storm chirps happy at them.

When lunch time came Hiccup and Sophie decided to tell everyone of their excited pregnancy.

Chief Clayborn congratulated them, while Sarah and Britney ran up to them and hugged them both.

Sharpshot flew in the Hall and landed in front of Hiccup and Sophie. Hiccup takes the letter from Sharpshot and opens it up to read from Astrid and says

"dear Hiccup, I know from your last letter that you married Sophie and I wanted to congratulate you two! I hope that if Odin feels that I earn a second chance, I will not throw it away because of what the villagers think of you. I made a mistake and I regret everything I did to you. I'm very thankful that if you have a daughter, that you name her after me.

The dragon raid has been less destructive with use of Eels against them, but some just tail whip them out of our hands before fleeing with livestock. My parents are wondering if there will be an us in the future with you married to Sophie now."

Sophie smiles "she seems to be stressed."

The coming months were enjoyable for Hiccup and Sophie during her pregnancy. Sophie would wake up vomiting outside on the ground and Hiccup would hold her hair out of her face. When she was finished, she would ask him "why do you watch me vomit dinner every morning?"

His answer was "I promise to never leave your side for anything concerning you" which causes her to blush and give him a loving smile for his support to her.

During the day, Hiccup would work on five weapons and then leave the Forge to check on Sophie for a minute and then go back to the Forge to work on another five weapons.

Sarah and Britney giggled when they heard how he checks on her after two to three hours. Luke and Louis were looking at Hiccup like a good husband and soon to be father.

Soon word got to Berk that Hiccup was expecting his first baby, and Snotlout turned it around boasting that she let him sleep with her because of how pathetic he was and that she wanted to get off and the only reason why she married him was because of the baby.

Hiccup turned the other way not worrying about it.

A couple of traders visited Gaul and witnessed a Nightfury flying around and left telling other villages of a dragon rider that rides a Nightfury.

Once every two weeks, he would fly to Berk in the morning and visit and by sunset, he would fly back to Gaul to be with his wife, Sophie.

On those days, Hiccup had Sarah and Britney take shifts so that Sophie isn't alone at home. And he had alone time with his father and Astrid. Talked with Ingrid and trained for an hour with Alistair in sword fighting.

Now it's been eight months now, since the wedding. Hiccup and Sophie are now almost seventeen years old now.

They got the baby crib made for their baby.

Hiccup had a run in with a couple of dragon hunters wanting their dragons for their Master, but they warned Hiccup that their Master doesn't take no for an answer."

Morning came and Sophie woke up with a wetness between her legs and tries to wake Hiccup "Hiccup wake up something's wrong."

Hiccup mumbles "what is it?"

Sophie panic "Hiccup can you please get up, I think my water broke."

Hiccup mumbles "if your water broke, it would mean you're in labor and it will pass. Just go back to sleep, it's not time for us to get up."

Sophie gaped at him in shock and feeling like she wants to hit him hard. Hiccup's eyes shoot open and gets out of bed says "wait and breathe, I'll be right back" and runs out the door. Fifteen minutes later he returns with Bethany to help deliver their baby.

Sarah and Britney knocked on their door to hear screaming and ran inside and up the stairs to see Hiccup sitting beside Sophie with Bethany delivering their baby and yell "oh my! Your having your baby now?!"

The delivery took four hours before Bethany announced "you have a baby girl!" And hands it to Sophie after cleaning her up.

Hiccup looks at her and says "our Hope to a brighter future together."

Sophie smiles "Hope Astra Haddock."

Hiccup smiles "my dad is going to be shocked that he has a granddaughter now."

Sophie smiles "Hiccup, do you want to agree that if anything happens to me, Astrid will be stepmother for our daughter?"

Hiccup smiles "yes, Sophie, Astrid will be stepmother to our daughter."

Sophie fell asleep resting from delivering their baby daughter.

Sarah made the baby formula for Hope leaves the directions to make it and left.

Hiccup sat in a chair and started feeding a bottle to Hope. An hour went by before Sophie woke up to see Hiccup holding Hope and feeding a bottle to her and says "you look adorable with feeding Hope."

Hiccup was instead sleeping in the chair and mumbles "yeah, I know."

Sophie sighs and reaches over to rub his forehead causing him to stir in his sleep "uh, what?"

She laughs at his reaction and says "give me her, my turn."

Hiccup slides her into her arms and says "I'm going to go send a letter to Astrid for an update."

Sophie holds Hope in her arms.

Hiccup went to the Forge to write a letter about Hope and sends Sharpshot to Berk. When he goes to leave a guy ask "are you Hiccup Horrendous Haddock the third?"

Hiccup uncomfortable says "yes, who's asking?"

The man says "I'm here to buy your Nightfury and your Deadly Nadder from you, and Mr. D Bludvist won't take no for an answer."

Hiccup sighs "I already had this talk with the last guy! The answer is no! I'm not selling my Nightfury or my wife's Deadly Nadder and you can tell Mr. Bloodvist that he's not getting them!"

The guy says "if you don't give me them now, then you'll be sorry in the future!"

Hiccup scowls "you want to threaten me because I say no? I'll show you a threat" and whistle. Soon Toothless had him pin to the ground growling at the man. He scowls "My. Nightfury. Is. Not. For. Sale. And. You. Can. Tell. Bloodvist. I. Said. So."

Toothless let's him go but spits a fireball at him sending his pants on fire.

Hiccup sighs "who is this Bloodvist guy anyway and why can't he accept the word no?"

He walks back home to his house and upstairs to see his wife Sophie asleep with Hope wrapped in her arms and climbs in bed to go to sleep and smiles "looking forward to being a good father to you Hope Astra Haddock."
