Disclaimer: I don't own the Show of many names. Some names being: Hunter X Hunter, HxH, HH, Hunter Hunter, Hiatus X Hiatus, Hiatus Hiatus etc.

Now let's get on with the chapter!

I groaned as I sat up, the last few months had most definitely not been the best in my life I thought mentally, being a toddler was of course one of the concerns, albeit a toddler with Wisdom surpassing his age. But most of all. This was NOT what I was expecting, what I was expecting was something more like: A Home, A Mother And A Father. But you know what? Strangely enough I got none of these: What I did get was: NOTHING. I had been born from my observations probably in Meteor City, a place that was trash to everyone, even having a catchphrase "We'll accept anything you leave here, but don't ever take anything away from us" showing how desperate the place really was. From my memory Meteor City was apparently described as a dump, a home that no one wanted and probably the most dangerous city in the entire island. Once again I groaned in frustration… Life was definitely not going well...

Finally listening to my stomachs growls I dragged myself to get some scrap food.

Congratulations!

For doing strenuous exercise you have gained the following:

+1 Strength

Immediately I felt an increase in my own strength, maybe this wouldn't be so bad afterall!

Continuing to crawl along albeit this time with a bit more drive. I finally got to a molding loaf of bread I had been feasting on for the last few days, forcing it into my mouth I held my mouth shut to stop myself from spitting out the disgusting material. It was only thanks to Gamer's Mind that I was even able to eat it to begin with because it allowed me near full control of my bodily reactions. Finishing up I once again crawled away to my small abode inside of a trash can to stay safe from the animals that feasted on the weak, I had just seen a small cat eaten by a roaming tiger yesterday and I most definitely did not want that to happen to me. Sitting down I contemplated what I would do in this life, while I was definitely thankful for the chance at reincarnation I was still at lost at what to do in this life, while obviously it had been a lifelong wish for me to be able to live within a fantasy world like this one. Now that I was in it I had no idea what to actually do, honestly, I really just wanted to fight people and enjoy life. Fight people because well… Honestly? I really just wanted that adrenaline coursing through my veins. Groaning to myself I realized that that probably meant I would have to train, but at least it wouldn't be wasted like in my last life where however much you trained you would never be able to save yourself from a person who hadn't trained in their entire life but had a gun. In this world you could actually easily catch bullets if you were strong enough. And so with that in mind I set out of my small abode to grind some stats!

Congratulations!

For doing strenuous exercise you have gained the following:

+1 Strength

Finally after nearly 2 hours of training I had gained a nice buff of 7 strength points which I was very glad for as my strength now sat at a comfortable position of 9 making me much stronger than the typical kid "Stats" I mentally commanded.

Closing the stats folder I sighed, while my strength might have been good the rest of my stats are absolute trash. I would also have to find ways to train them, because while strength may be easy to train, the rest are considerably harder to find a good training method for. Finally giving in to my sore body I returned to my small abode. Needless to say sleep came quickly thereafter.

The Next Day

I woke up to an early morning garbage scavenger hammering a piece of metal close to my hole with a makeshift hammer, most definitely not a good way to wake up. Sitting up with a groan I refrained from yelling at my disturber instead crawling outside I decided to set out for training once again. Stopping at my training spot from yesterday (A small field I had cleared of the usual junk yesterday for my training) I set to work experimenting ways to increase my other stats namely dexterity which I had set as my training goal for the day. First up I opened up my Menu page clicking dexterity for it's definition:

Dexterity:
Determines your Motor Functions which can be used for things like lock picking and crafting. Dexterity is also used for increasing reaction speed. High enough dexterity and strength allows the user to dodge and catch bullets with ease.

While the obvious answer was to just do one of the things listed such as picking locks and crafting wood, those most definitely were too hard for me to train as it would be a bother to try and find a good piece of wood and a saw, and the lock would be near impossible to find. Looking around my small yard for equipment to use for training I spotted a broken butterfly net with it's net gone, An idea suddenly came to my head. I could probably train my dexterity by aiming and throwing things through the hoop! Getting to work I grabbed the broken net and planted it firmly in the ground at the back-end of my training area, gathering up a few rocks. I went to the opposite end of the small field and threw my first rock, complete miss, not giving up I picked up the next one and threw it at the hoop it once again missed utterly, this time going far to the right of the hoop. I stared at my hand strangely. Was there something wrong with it? I couldn't have been that bad at throwing could I? Sighing I once again threw a rock already reaching for the next one, stopping my hand midway a beautiful ting sounded and I looked towards the screen that turned up.

Congratulations!

For your hard work you have earned +1 Dexterity!

Resisting the urge to celebrate I grinned and got ready to throw the next rock. Maybe today wasn't such a bad day anyways!

About him being a few months old child and crawling, please just ignore it. I mean I couldn't really just time skip a few years and be done with that, but I also couldn't just write a chapter about his daily life as it would probably bore you all to death as it would consist of the words: Can't Move, Trying to move. Like 50 times!

By the way, thanks for all the wondrous follows that I got!
