As Icin and the others begin their Journey, Lord Frieza is currently in his own spaceship; going through intense meditation while sitting in his hovering chair. Suddenly, one of his soldiers walks in. "Lord Frieza! I have an urgent message for you."

Lord Frieza replies. "Urgent enough for you to interfere with my delicate concentration?" This answer makes the soldier fear for his life. Frieza takes a breath. "Very well. Be out with it."

The soldier lets out a sigh of relief. "We've lost contact with the team sent to find Broly and his two accomplices. It also appears that the tracker beacon for the squadron's ship has been disabled."

Unfettered, Frieza asks the soldier "What of the planet they were hiding on? Has it been destroyed?"

"No, Sir. Our long-range scanners indicate it's still there. No signs of detonation."

Frieza is surprised to hear this. "Interesting...Given Broly's instability, I suspected the planet would've been destroyed along with our men...assuming he lost control that is. Do you think it possible that Broly has learned to control his power?"

"I don't know, Sir. There were no energy fluctuations picked up on our scanners. Whoever took out our squadron was suppressing their power to the bare minimum. Don't see how Broly could do that. He's too unstable. Even with the other two helping him, he wouldn't be able to pull off a surprise attack."

Frieza is stumped by this. "This is most irregular. Do we have nothing else to go on?"

"Well...there is one other thing. We extracted a security feed from inside the ship. The last few seconds before cutting off indicates that...someone else was there with them."

This catches Frieza's interest. "Oh is that so? Show it to me then." The soldier immediately shows Frieza the footage via holographic projection. He is completely shocked to see Icin's face on-screen. "What? How can this be? The Runaway Serpent is still alive after all this time? And he's working with the other fugitives as well?!"

After a short pause, the soldier nervously asks Frieza "Um...should we go after them, Sir?"

Frieza takes a breath and clears his throat. "No. Not yet at least. For now I need to focus on my training. It'll be done in two weeks time. By then I will have acquired all the power I'll need in order to defeat the Saiyans back on Earth...even without Broly...and no matter what that treacherous snake and his fellow vermin have in store for us.

As Icin and his new allies make their way through the galaxy, they manage to both fan the flames of rebellion throughout the cosmos as well as add to their own arsenal; forging alliances wherever they go, and causing as much of a stir as they can. Unknown to Icin, his efforts cause Lord Frieza enough stress to interfere with his mental training; breaking his concentration time and again as two short weeks turn into two long months.

Eventually, Icin and the others find themselves on a heist to steal supplies from a Frieza Force space station. Just as they are about to make their escape, they are stopped by a group of armed guards in the main hangar. Fighting alongside Cheelai, Lemo, and others, Icin manages to best these soldiers with ease and with zero casualties. Once this is done, they all take off in their newly upgraded space-ship.

Up in the bridge, Icin congratulates his team. "Well done, everyone. Think that's all the supplies we'll need for the time being."

The lad sitting at the terminal right next to the captain's seat says "Affirmative. Our fuel stores are full, Sir."

Icin chuckles and says "Indeed...but you don't need to call me that."

"What? 'Sir'?"

"Yes. I understand you're use to such gestures for someone like Lord Frieza, but I consider myself an equal among my crew. Not a superior. You can call me Icin to keep it simple."

The lad is surprised to hear this. "Oh...Uh yea sure."

The woman sitting next to Icin on the other side asks him "So where to now, Icin? Are we gonna recruit the Saiyans?"

"Yes. I think we've put that off for long enough, Soapa. I'm sure we're ready." Soapa is slender and has long white hair and green colored skin just like Cheelai. She also has a raspy voice and is older looking than Cheelai, but younger looking than Lemo. "Uh...that's assuming you and your daughter don't get into another argument on the way over there."

Cheelai turns around, calling out "Say what?!"

Icin chuckles a bit. "Only kidding."

Soapa and Lemo immediately start chuckling as an embarrassed Cheelai thinks to herself Ugh. Why did I have to invite my mom to come with us?

On Frieza's ship, the Emperor of the Universe himself receives another urgent message from one of his soldiers. "Sir! Another one of our stations just got raided by Icin and his forces!"

Frieza is furious about this. "Damn Him! That little worm really knows how to piss me off! All that time I've wasted trying to get after him! And to think that my training could've been done already if it wasn't for him and his fellow Serpents! Damn Them All!"

With a nervous look, the soldier asks Frieza "Uh...Sir, why don't you just train out in the open? Wouldn't that be easier for you?"

Frieza crosses his arms. "Don't be ridiculous. The results I am looking for require a great deal of concentration and strict emotional control. The power I hope to achieve is something that very few have been able to master."

"Ohh. Is that what that one guy told you?"

Frieza immediately gestures for the soldier not to talk. "Shh. Keep quiet about it!"

Suddenly another soldier runs in and calls on Lord Frieza. "Sir, we think we know where they're headed to next!"

"What? Are you serious? Where are they going?" asks Frieza.

"Well...based on their current trajectory, we believe they are headed towards Earth. The Saiyans' new home world."

Frieza begins to understand. "Oh I see. That little Bastard intends to recruit the Saiyans then? Interesting coincidence. If that's what he plans to do I presume he's finished playing hide and seek with us. In which case, I can resume my training uninterrupted." Frieza smiles. "Hmm...Two Days...Yes...That's all the time I'll need."
