Soooooooooooooooo sorry it took this long.

Chapter 3:

This chapter takes place a couple of days before the last one (whenever Percy disappeared)

Percy

I woke up in the ruins of a house.

I had no idea who I was. How old I was. Where I was. Nothing.

I had no memory at all.

The building I was in looked thoroughly demolished - it was the stone frame of what would've been a grand place beforehand, with only a couple wooden boards left over. It looked like the top story (stories?) had crumbled completely. I could see some of the stone frame up above me, but it wasn't much. This place wasn't much.

And then I remembered - my name is Percy. Percy what? I couldn't remember.

I stood up on slightly shaky legs. I steadied myself against the wall before walking towards the center of the house. Something was… drawing me there. I didn't know what.

Before long, I arrived at what I was pretty sure was a swimming pool. For some reason, that got me really excited. But then I realized that whatever it had been in the past, it was now just filled with this strange fog. I also realized that it probably wasn't a good thing that it was filled with strange fog.

Suddenly, the fog began to thin out. It was no longer too thick to see through, but I thought that I might have preferred not being able to see through it, because what I saw made me jump.

In the center of what I now realized must have been some sort of reflecting pool, there were two spires. One was larger than the other. The larger one was loosely woven and looked kind of like a cage. The other one was very tightly woven.

I cautiously approached the cage-like spire and said, "hello?"

Someone sighed, and I tensed.

"Who's there?" I asked. I instinctively reached into my pocket and pulled out… a ballpoint pen?

"Don't worry about me," a voice said. I took a step forward and then uncapped the pen. It grew into a sword, which I almost dropped.

I walked over to the cage. Inside was a woman in a black cloak.

"Who are you?" I asked.

She huffed. "Only the queen of the gods. But that doesn't matter. Lupa will be here any second, and your training will start. I've told her to make it quick so you can get to the Roman camp, but-"

"Hold on a second," I said. "The queen of the gods? And what's the Roman camp?"

Camp, I thought, that sounds familiar. But not Roman. Roman sounded like a very bad idea.

"Lupa will explain, but-" the woman said.

"Who's Lupa?" I asked. This woman was not being very helpful.

"She'll be here in a minute, but, as I was saying, you might not get to the Roman camp as quickly as I was hoping. And in just a couple days, you'll have to hide while the three new heroes from the Greek camp save me."

"Greek camp?" I asked excitedly. "Can I go there instead of the Roman camp?" Greek felt much better than Roman.

"No," she said. "Ah, Lupa's here."

I swiveled around. In front of me was a pack of wolves.

SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO SORRY I DIDN'T UPDATE!

I have no reason at all for not updating, except that I'm lazy and couldn't get myself to write. (That is, I was too lazy to write this. I spent plenty of time writing other stuff… but whatever.)

Also sooooo sorry this chapter was so short.

Also (I know I don't deserve to ask any unrelated questions, but whatever) I just finished reading the Seeds of America trilogy and I wanted to know if anyone else thought it was SOOO good.

(Also sorry for leaving this on a cliffhanger. And for not updating)
