Jaune Arc and the Hole
Disclaimer: This a fictional fan-made story. I do not own any of the properties and/or characters that are shown, or read, in this story. The only characters I claim ownership are the ones that I have created for narrative purposes, i.e., OCs. If you see any spelling, grammatical, or narrative errors please let me know. I also allow constructive criticism for it allows me to better my writing skills and to make this story better. If you have some requests please let me know and I will go over them, but don't go overboard with the requests. ~Story start~
In Beacon Academy, stood one Jaune Arc as he stood in the middle of his dorm. Sipping a mug, a limited edition 'Pumpkin Pete's' mug, of freshly brewed coffee. Suddenly the door opened to see Ruby enter JNPR's room.
"Jaune have you seen my copy of the greatest movie of all time?" Ruby asked.
"'Sixteen once more'?" Jaune asked in response.
"Yeah." Ruby said.
"Pretty sure it fell in the hole." Jaune answered, which confused Ruby.
"What hole-oh my Oum!" The red reaper looked down to a big hole in the middle between her and Jaune.
(Dramatic sting)
"What is that?" Ruby asked, freaking out.
"It's a hole." Jaune replied simply.
"Yeah, I can see that, what's it doing there?" She asked.
"Well, I woke up this morning *sips on the mug nonchalantly* then there was a hole." Jaune replied.
"What are you gonna do about it?" Ruby asked with her arms crossed.
"Well, I put a rug over it." Jaune started to explain. They then both look at the hole.
(Dramatic sting)
"Yeah, fell in the hole." Chuckled Jaune as he took another sip.
"Should we call the Headmasters or something?" Ruby suggested.
"Oh yeah I called Ozpin and Goodwitch. Yeah." Jaune admitted.
"Well, where are they?" Ruby asked as she looked around for the two headmasters. However, they don't seem to be around.
"They're in the hole." Jaune said as he pointed to the hole.
(Dramatic sting)
Ruby was shocked to hear that, but she also noticed something was off.
"Where's your partner?" Ruby asked Jaune. She knew that Pyrrha was always two feet close to the blonde knight. Jaune didn't respond to her as he averted his and slipped his mug.
"Jaune, where is your partner?" Ruby asked more sternly.
"She's at work." Jaune said.
"Oh, where'd she work?" Ruby asked.
"In the hole." Jaune stated as he pointed to the hole again.
(Dramatic sting)
"Oum! How deep even is this thing?" Ruby asked as she grabbed Jaune's mug. She then dropped it into the hole. The sound that usually indicates the bottom was not heard. Meaning that it is either completely bottomless or it is a very deep hole.
"That was my favorite mug. Now it's in the hole." Jaune said sadly as his favorite mug was lost forever.
(Dramatic sting)
"Jaune do you even know what this is? For all we know it can be an interdimensional wormhole or a gateway to hell or a-" Ruby rambled on as she tried to make sense of what the hole is. She then looked up to see that Jaune was gone.
"Jaune?" Ruby asked in worry.
"Jaune?" She asked again.
"Jaune?!" Ruby yelled into the hole as she feared Jaune fell in.
"Hey what's up? I got a snack." Jaune said as he appeared again and bit into an apple. After one last bite he tossed the apple into the hole.
"Jaune would you please take this seriously?" Ruby chastised. Suddenly, an arm came out of the hole, the being that the arm belonged to, growling viciously.
"Aaahhh! What is that?!" Ruby freaked out at the sudden jump scare. Jaune simply pulled out one of Ren's guns and fired at the beast. After a few shots from Storm Flower, the beast finally died. Jaune then tossed the weapon into the hole.
"What was that?" Ruby asked.
"Hole person." Jaune answered.
"Where did it come from?" She asked. Jaune only responded with an obvious look.
"Right the hole. Yeah. Dude why are you being so calm about this?" Ruby stated, wondering why Jaune was so calmed about this whole situation.
"I'm more worried about the space octopus." Jaune admitted.
"What space octopus?" The reaper asked in confusion. A strange sound was then was heard from outside.
They both looked to see a giant octopus floating outside the window. Its body pulsating with purple energy.
"Ah!" Ruby yelled as a tentacle grabbed onto her and pulled her away. Jaune simply looked on in slight worry, knowing that Ruby is as good as dead.
"That one." Jaune said as felt something in his back pocket.
"Oh, here it is!" He said as he pulled out the DVD Ruby was looking for.
(Dramatic sting)
"Oh shit!" Jaune said as he accidentally dropped the DVD into the hole.
