Admiral Zhao cast his line into the water, ready to enjoy a delightful day of his favorite hobby. His box of bait and tackle sat next to his lawn chair, and he wore a hat that said "women want me, fish fear me." His troops were outside the spirit pond, fighting off the northern waterbenders while he fished for the scared lunar koi fish.
Zuko rose from the pond like Godzilla emerging from the ocean. "Excuse me, sir, but do you have a fishing license?" he rasped as freezing water sloughed off of him.
Horrified, Zhao dropped the rod, and his fashionable hat fell off his head. He groped around for it, for it was the source of his power, and instead recovered a hat that said "let the fish who thinks he knows no fear look well upon my face." With shaking hands, he put it on.
"Where's the avatar?" Zuko growled, grabbing Zhao by the shoulders. His grip was colder than ice, yet it seared past his fishing vest and into his skin.
"Didn't I kill you?" Zhao enunciated through the shuddering of his bowels. "Did you just come from the bottom of that pond?"
"Come to think of it, do you even have an avatar-hunting license?" Zuko hissed.
"Your father— He sent me to find the avatar too—!"
Zuko's eyes burned with vitriol, and he lifted a hand from Zhao's shoulders to pick up the last of his fishing hats, one that read "women fear me, fish fear me, men turn their eyes away from me as I walk, no beast dare make a sound in my presence, I am alone on this barren earth."
He placed it upon his own head. Beneath his fingers, Zhao disintegrated into dust.
