Author's Note: As you can see, I had to skip the second chapter of the canon volume because I couldn't find a way to include any Spider-Man elements. In fact, I may skip about a third of this volume. Don't worry. I'll make it up.

Any and all comments are welcome.

It was entertaining to see the next two matches. Team JNPR defeated Team BRNZ spectacularly and after a couple of members loss, Team SSSN bested Team NDGO. A break was announced just as new Atlesian ships were docking in. Spider-Man was curious, so naturally, he swung over and perched himself on the edge of a nearby rooftop.

"More Atlas guys? Sheesh, talk about overkill on security. Then again, with Mysterio playing good-guy for Beacon, at least he'll have a hundred eyes on him if he shows up with that bubble head."

Suddenly, his eyes widened. A sudden tingle in his head rattled around. He forced himself to turn around in response to it. However, he was underwhelmed when he saw a black bird standing behind him.

"Oh. A raven. Nice to meet you, little guy." He reached out his hand to pet it, but the bird took a step back. "Ah, I get it. You don't trust me just because I'm an outsider. Well, that's just putting it mildly."

Spider-Man playfully gazed in two different directions before leaning in. "Don't tell anybody, but I'm from another world. I know. Crazy, right? And I don't even know how I got here. All I know is that I got blasted by this weird meteorite that Oscorp found, and—bibbiti-bobbiti-boo—I got sent to a place with a shattered moon. Not only that, but a whole bunch of my friends and enemies got brought here as well. I ran into a few of them, but I don't really know how much there is. Ozpin promised to help me return home, and he thinks Atlas might be able to help. Still, all this security has me concerned. What do you think?" The bird squawked. "Thanks. You're a good listener."

Suddenly, a large eruption roared from the middle of the courtyard. Spider-Man jumped up on his feet in response. He heard the distant sounds of blades clashing.

"Uh, oh. Sounds like trouble. Gotta go, bird. Thanks for listening!"

Spider-Man whipped out a line and swung himself to the direction of the chaos he heard. Right as he was out of sight, the raven changed in a blink. What started off as a black bird instantly changed into a black-haired woman in red armor wearing a Grimm-like mask.

"Another blind, gullible follower of Ozpin."

Spider-Man zipped over to the top of a lamppost where he witnessed a fight between two adults. One was a nearly-shaven man with a red scarf and a large, mechanical scythe similar to Ruby's. The other was a woman with snow-white hair and a white Atlesian uniform carrying a curved sword. The two of them were trading strikes to each other until the man noticed Spider-Man. He smiled and withdrew his weapon daring his opponent to thrust her sword at him.

The woman charged forward for the final blow when Spider-Man decided to intervene. He quickly shot a webline that stuck on her sword. As he flew overhead, he yanked it out of her grip and webbed both of her hands together. He landed right between them.

"Hey, if this is your match, shouldn't it take place at Amity?" Spider-Man asked.

The nearly-shaven man chuckled. "Nice shot, shutterbug."

Behind his white lenses, Spider-Man's eyes widened. He turned around to look at the man who called him a shutterbug. "What did you call me? Just who are you guys?"

Ruby chuckled as she approached him with Weiss beside her. "Hi. Spider-Man, this is my uncle, Qrow."

"And this is my sister, Winter." Weiss introduced.

"You're family?" Spider-Man asked. "You know, I probably should've guessed by the scythe and the white hair."

"What's going on out here?" a booming voice called out. General Ironwood entered the crowd with a furious look on his face. Penny Polendina, the Atlesian robot girl, walked behind him. "Spider-Man, what happened?"

"Beats me." Spider-Man answered. "I was just swinging around when I caught these two turning the courtyard into a replica of the moon."

"Qrow started the altercation, sir!" Winter accused.

"That's actually not true." Qrow said. "She attacked first."

"Is that right?" Ironwood asked. Winter tried to argue, but she knew the drunk was right. The general shot another look at Qrow. "And you. What are you doing here?"

"I could be asking you the same thing."

"Wait?" Spider-Man asked. "Do you two know each other?"

"Heh. You still haven't told the shutterbug?"

Ironwood widened his eyes. "How did…" Qrow only answered by waving his fingers up and down like a bird's wings flapping.

"Now, now, everyone." Professor Ozpin entered the crowd as well. "There is a sanctioned fight happening just around the corner at the Colosseum, that I can assure you has better seats… and popcorn."

Glynda Goodwitch waved her horsewhip to repair the damage. Ironwood took the sword from Spider-Man's hands, cut the webbing on Winter's hands, and returned it to her. Ruby greeted her uncle with a tight hug to his arm.

"UNCLE QROW! Hi. Did you miss me? Did you miss me?!"

"…Nope." Qrow joked setting her down.

"Qrow." Ozpin called out. "A word please."

"Uh… Should I join in to? Or…"

"No, Spider-Man." Ozpin said. "This doesn't concern you." He lowered his head and whispered, "At least, not yet."

Before Spider-Man could ask any more, a certain face caught his eyes. Across the courtyard, Quentin Beck was ordering from the snackbooth. Spider-Man waved goodbye to Ruby and Weiss before swinging away. He followed the illusionist to a lone bench with no one around. That was Spider-Man's opportunity to land right in front of him. Beck didn't look surprised.

"Finally." He said. "Took you long enough, web-head. I've been waiting for you to talk to me for a while." He started to eat the snacks he ordered: a tray of nachos and a soda.

"You know, Beck, there is a sanctioned fight at Amity. I hear there's popcorn." Spider-Man said.

"As fun as that is, I'm ready to turn in for the day."

"Why? Got a date, Misty?"

"You could say that." Beck then put on a serious face. "Listen, Spider-Man, I hate your guts for all the times you put me in prison, but for some reason, I feel like I should warn you. Don't fight, or things will get ugly."

"Ugly, huh? We'll talk more about you later."

"This isn't a joke!" Quentin Beck shouted. "Listen, I've seen things you can't possibly imagine. And I was promised power that I genuinely believe can be given to me. All I have to do is play hero until…"

"Given?" Spider-Man asked. "Hate to break it to you, but Roman Torchwick's locked up held up in an Atlas airship. He can't give you anything… unless it's not him you're referring to. He's not the real mastermind, is he?" Beck had a blank look on his face. "Talk, Misty. Who are you working for?"

Beck chuckled. "Why don't you ask the school's headmaster? He knows everything about who I'm working for. Now, if you don't mind…" He got back up with his snacks and walked away. Spider-Man stared at him suspiciously.

"And you're sure?" Cinder asked as she paced around her hotel room. Emerald and Mercury sat next to her pacing space.

"Bad hair, used a scythe, and smelled like my dad after a long day. It was him." Mercury answered.

"What do we do?" Emerald asked.

"Nothing." Cinder answered. "We stay the course. They have no idea who we are, so we have no reason to worry." Suddenly, her scroll made a notification sound while the Black Queen logo displayed on it. She picked it up and examined the contents. "Hmm. It seems our good friend, the Tinkerer, has just identified another person of interest."

"Another visitor from Spider-Man's world?" Emerald asked.

"No. This one's from Atlas. Go to your rooms. I'll prepare everything for tomorrow." She watched the two teens leave her room. She continued examining the man appearing on her scroll. "Dr. Otto Octavius. What can you give me?"
