A/N: Thank you for all your reviews on my last chapter. These are just head-canons that I have of Robert and Andy, so putting them into mini-stories and seeing you love them makes me happy. Hope you enjoy this one too x

"And that is how you make the perfect hot chocolate!" Andy stated as she topped off two mugs filled with warm hot chocolate with whipped cream and chocolate shavings.

"Hm, they looked good." Robert said, a little unenthusiastically after being forced to watch Andy make them from start to finish.

"Look, Robert, I know they aren't your famous smoothies, but it's December, we can't be having fruity drinks."

"Ah, there I disagree. Smoothies are not seasonal, at all!" Robert protested.

The couple picked up their hot drinks and made their way to the couch.

After their talk the other night, Andy had wanted to continue Pruitt's tradition of hot chocolate and movies with Robert.

Every year, in the lead up to Christmas, Pruitt would make hot chocolate for himself and Andy, sometimes Ryan too, before spending the night in front of the television watching as many Christmas movies as they could. Each year they would be able to watch one more hour than previously as the older Andy got, the longer she would stay up.

The choice of drink stayed the same but what to watch didn't. Instead, Robert and Andy had agreed to catch up with some of their shows that they had missed due to work; 'This Is Us' was the show of the evening. It was one of Andy's favourites; Robert's too, not that he would admit it publicly.

They managed to make it through four hours of the show before calling it a night; both having to be up at 6 AM for their next 24-hour shift. Robert had refilled their hot chocolates halfway through the evening, though Andy couldn't help but note that she needed to supervise him next time as they didn't quite taste right, despite her clear instructions earlier in the day.

"Thank you for doing that with me," Andy said as she cuddled up to her husband in bed, "Now we just have another 364 days until we can call it our tradition."

"I like the sound of that." Robert agreed. Today was more for Andy but he couldn't help but be grateful for the new memories he was making during the Christmas period. Between losing his parents at sixteen and his wife almost twenty years ago, Christmas wasn't a big celebration for him anymore. It was just another day in his eyes; one which was often spent at work to get away from it all.

But now that he had Andy, who was infatuated with all things Christmas, his joy was slowly returning.

The couple truly complemented each other in more ways than one. And now that they had each other, they couldn't wait to spend more Christmas days with one another over the coming years. As well as future days spent on the couch, watching tv and drinking hot chocolate.

A/N again: Smoothies are not seasonal (currently drinking one!) 100% with Robert on this one.
