Sunday had rolled around rather quickly for Andy's liking, as most weeks had in 2020, but this time was a little different. The snow clouds that had been threatening the city for the past few days had finally opened, leaving a blanket of white everywhere.

Andy had thought that her family would've cancelled their weekly picnic at the park but they insisted that weren't going to miss out on a picnic because of some snow; Sandra had told her of stories of picnics that had taken place in harsher weather conditions than six inches of snow.

Andy and Robert took a slow drive to the local park; living in Montana, Robert quickly learnt the do's and don'ts of driving in the snow and going extremely slowly was one of them.

They made it to the park with plenty of time to spare, so remained seated in the car to stay warm.

This was Robert's fifth time hanging out with Andy's family and he was grateful that they had accepted him so quickly. He had been nervous at first but with their friendly nature, Robert felt like he had known them for his entire life.

A while later, Sandra, Johnny, Michelle and Alice, Michelle's girlfriend, had joined them at the park. They set up base at one of the tables but were seated six feet apart to protect themselves.

As Michelle was unfolding her chair, Andy seized the opportunity to throw a snowball at her, just like she used to do when they were younger.

"ANDY!" Michelle yelled across the park, turning to face her cousin, "You are going to regret that."

Michelle quickly picked up a handful of snow and threw it in the direction of Andy. However, Andy swiftly moved Robert in front of her to avoid being hit. The snowball soon hit Robert's abdomen and Andy let out a little chuckle.

"Oh, you think this is funny?" Robert stated, turning around to see Andy's face.

"Come on, Robert. It's just snow." Andy smirked at him.

"Just snow, you say. I will have you know that I have yet to lose a snowball fight. You, my darling, have started a war."

Before Andy could speak, Robert had constructed a massive snowball and threw it towards Andy. It hit her upper right arm, crumbling instantly against her maroon jacket. Andy yelled out a shriek as the snowball hit her more forcefully than she was expecting.

"I told you. You have started a war!" Robert bellowed, grabbing another handful of snow and forming it into the perfect ball. Another perk of living in Montana was learning how to construct the perfect snowball which helped him to win the numerous snowball fights.

Simultaneously, Andy had picked up a ball full of snow, readying it to aim for Robert. Unfortunately for Andy, the snowball disintegrated before it even reached her husband, which left him in a state of hysterics. Robert mentally added 'teach Andy how to make the perfect snowball' to his to-do list so he would have competition in the next snowball fight of the year.

Both Michelle and Alice noticed the unfair advantage Robert had against Andy, so in their efforts to make up for it, they began throwing snowballs at Robert.

The war now became three against one.

Robert was now on high alert, dodging all the snowballs coming at him from three different directions whilst getting his own back to keep up his streak of never losing a snowball fight.

Somewhere in the midst of it all, Sandra and Johnny had been hit several times so, it was only natural for them to join in on all the fun. It was unclear who's side Sandra was on, but it was evident from the beginning that Johnny was on Robert's side. He used the opportunity to get back at his daughter and niece for all the times that they hit him as they were growing up.

The party of six continued the so-called war until all the fresh snow had been ruined and all that was left was soggy grass underneath their feet.

"It's safe to say, we won that fight." Robert declared to Johnny, who nodded in agreement.

"Erm, no. If memory serves me right, you stopped before we did." Michelle retorted as she took a seat on her chair.

"There was no snow left, that's why I stopped."

"Someone clearly can't face the fact that he lost his first-ever fight against four women!" Andy quipped.

"Can't face what you didn't lose." Robert protested.

"Whatever you say, honey. Whatever you say." Andy spoke, rolling her eyes in the direction of her cousin, not believing that her husband refused to accept defeat.

The day had been a day of remembering the good times for both Andy and Robert. Snowball fights were frequent events in their lives before meeting one another and now it was something that they could share, once Robert taught Andy the art of snowball making first.

A/N: I loved Andy's interaction with her family in 04x02 so I knew I wanted to include them at some point, and a snowball fight between two people didn't seem all that fun, so that's why they feature here. I do hope we see more of the family this season because I love them. Also, I made up Alice's name; I don't recall Michelle letting Andy know her name so I just picked the first name that came to my head.
