In the middle of the night in a futuristic city known as Optima, a train was moving along holographic with many guards on the inside of it. The guards in the train wore grey shirts, and dark green cargo pants under cybernetic vests and gauntlets while also having black combat boots on their feet. The guards also had pistols holstered on their hips and metal batons on the back of their belts. The train itself appeared empty save for the soldiers and some shipping crates.
One the guards yawned then looked at his colleague and asked,"Hey, why are we even on this train right now? I mean all that's in here is supplies right?"
"I don't know man. Corporate just put us on this assignment and we gotta do it.",Another guard replied. The two guards nodded to one another then continued what they were doing until they heard rattling coming from the back of the car they were in. Both guards took out their batons and slowly moved to the back of the car with one of them saying,"Who's there?"
Once the two guards made it to the back of the train car, they looked around then one said,"Huh, guess it was just the crates rustling."
Suddenly, one of the guards was hit in the side of the head by a flying side kick while the other was picked up and thrown into the wall of the train car. Both guards were knocked unconscious and one of their assailants said in an Irish accent,"Huh, that was easier than expected. These two morans had glass jaws."
"I don't think you humans would be able to have a glass jaws considering how fragile you all can be and your heads would be unable to carry the weight.",the second assailant said in a deep yet robotic voice.
"It's a metaphor boyo. It's a metaphor.",The Irish assailant said.
The first assailant was male appeared to be around 5ft 6in to 5ft 11in tall and was wearing a red t-shirt under a black and red hooded urban jacket, baggy black cargo shorts, and red and black Nike high top sneakers. He also wore a black gas mask that only covered the lower part of his face. This assailant also had the hood of his jacket on his head but it could still be seen that he was Caucasian and that he had one real eye which was green and one cybernetic eye which was silver for the most part with a blue Iris. This assailant's name is Flynn.
The second assailant appeared to be 7ft 3in tall and was wearing a black hooded poncho cape that had blue stripes on it over a dark blue t shirt, a pair of loose fitting black Hakken Men's Pants, and faded worn black boots. This assailant's face was covered by an all black mask that showed nothing but one green glowing eye. This assistant's limbs also could be seen and were robotic, being a gunmetal grey color with accents of green, magenta, and blue on them. This assailant's name is J3T41N but is pronounced as Jetain. (Author's note: This guy's name will primarily be written as J3T41N just for the sake of that's how I spell the name. However, on occasion I'll just refer to him as Jetain in case some people get confused on how to pronounce it in their head.)
Flynn sighed while rolling his shoulders then he looked around before saying,"Where's our lass at?"
"Get me out of here!",A feminine voice shouted from a crate behind Flynn and J3T41N, causing the two to turn to it then walk towards it. J3T41N easily ripped the top off of the crate then he and Flynn moved back as a teenage girl sprung up from the crate, aiming a large triple barreled rifle at the two of them. This teenage girl was mixed race( Black and Asian) and only 5ft 4in tall with a yellow bandana around her mouth and dark pink welding goggles on her eyes. She was also wearing a black oversized hooded cloak over a yellow and dark pink t-shirt that was torn at the midriff, a black and dark pink skirt which stopped just above her knees, torn knee high black and yellow socks, and black and grey sneakers that had dark pink shoe laces. This teenage girl's name is Rika (pronounced Reeka).
Rika kept her rifle pointed at Flynn and J3T41N then she said,"Give me one good reason why I shouldn't shoot the both of you down this instant." in a frustrated tone.
"Well for one thing, ya need us to pull off this job, we're a team and most importantly, we're your only friends.",Flynn pointed out.
"Flynn is right. Him and I are your only means of completing this job, also we're your only friends.",J3T41N said, backing Flynn up. Rika looked at the two then her rifle transformed into only a handle as she casually said,"Okay. You right, you right."
Flynn and J3T41N nodded then the trio went to the front of the car they were in and looked at the door. Flynn looked through the window of the door then said,"I see about four guards in here; All armed like these two."
"We should continue our stealthy approach. It is making this job much easier than it would normally be.",J3T41N said.
"Aw come on. I am hating this stealth crap, I wanna go in guns blazing.",Rika said in an insanely excited tone. Flynn and J3T41N looked at Rika then J3T41N said,"Please refrain from getting us all killed with your bloodlust."
"I promise nothing to you, my robotic brother.",Rika said casually.
"Oi, less gabbin' and more hackin'. You're up Jet.",Flynn said authoritatively. J3T41N stepped up to the door and his index finger became a small blowtorch, that he then put to the handle of the door. Once the handle melted off the door, Flynn, J3T41N, and Rika moved through the train car being silent as possible until they hid behind some crates. Flynn peeked out from behind the crate then got back into cover before saying,"Tree guards are standing in front of us, while one is patrolling." in a quiet tone.
J3T41N nodded then he looked around before moving away from Flynn and Rika. Rika looked at Flynn then quietly asked,"So can I?"
"No.",Flynn whispered, with Rika quietly groaning in disappointment. The two then heard grunting and thuds for some moments then J3T41N walked towards them and said,"I took care of the guards."
Flynn and Rika came out from their cover to see the four guards unconscious on the ground. J3T41N crossed his arms then nodded as Flynn said,"Huh, nice job my robotic friend."
"Eh, I guess it's a good job. I think it would've been cooler if I knocked em out.",Rika said, trying not to show her jealousy. Flynn and J3T41N chuckled then the trio walked to another car. They stopped walking once they entered the train car and saw nothing but a large safe in the center of it. Flynn, J3T41N, and Rika stayed in place then Flynn said,"Okay, this has the scent of a trap all over it."
"That is correct.",J3T41N said.
"Oh this is totally a trap. I wanna spring it!",Rika said before she ran straight for the safe. J3T41N immediately tried to grab Rika but she jumped over him. Rika then punched Flynn in the face as he tried to stop her. Flynn and J3T41N ran after Rika, but were too late as she reached the safe. Rika put her robotic fingers into the safe's lock and in a matter of seconds unlocked the safe.
"Ah crap, she opened it.",Flynn said while stomping on the ground and looking towards the door. J3T41N's eye widened as he said,"This will not end well."
Rika opened the safe then said,"Aw, there's nothing in this thing." with disappointment and anger.
"Of course there's nothing in there sweetheart. It's a trap.",Flynn, J3T41N, and Rika heard coming from a P.A system. Suddenly the train came to a halt, the force of stopping causing Flynn, J3T41N, and Rika to stumble a bit. The trio got their bearings then they heard the voice on the P.A say,"You've reached your stop, you filthy criminals. Now it is time for you to pay for your crimes. So, basically you're gonna be killed." in a charismatic and amused tone.
"So lass, mind explaining to us why you decided to be an eejit and SPRING THE BLOODY TRAP!",Flynn said in a frustrated tone. Rika raised her hand to respond however she couldn't think of anything to say so she stayed silent while putting her hand down. Flynn huffed in frustration then he looked towards the large train car wall while saying,"How many soldiers do you think he'll be sending at us this time Jet?"
"Considering how we're on the highest wanted list in the city, a lot of them.",J3T41N said as he walked up to stand by Flynn on his left side.
"Does it matter? We get to finally do something fun tonight.",Rika said in an excited tone as she walked up to stand by Flynn on his right side. J3T41N and Flynn turned their gaze to Rika before saying in unison,"You don't get to be excited right now!"
"Jeez, you both are worse than parents sometimes.",Rika said while taking out a black stun grenade that had a yellow lever and three yellow stripes on it. J3T41N pulled out a black stun grenade that had a blue lever and two blue stripes on it while Flynn pulled out a black stun grenade that had one large red stripe on it. The three grabbed the pins of their grenades then they in unison said,"Change grenade, cultivate." before they pulled said pins. Yellow, Red, and Blue clouds of smoke and blinding lights erupted from the grenades, covering Flynn, J3T41N, and Rika in both.
Outside the train on the platform, a small platoon of about 30 soldiers in heavier armor than the guards on the trains were standing outside the train car, with automatic rifles aimed at it. The all stayed aimed at the train car even as the wall of the train car had a large hole blown into it. The soldiers kept their aim straight until they saw Flynn, J3T41N, and Rika, in vibrant colored suits, jump out of the hole towards them.
Flynn was now wearing a red suit that had black wave esc markings all over it and black trimming on the wrists, end of forearms, and ankles. The suit also had a black belt with a red buckle that looked like the filter of a gas mask. Flynn's helmet was red with four of the black wave esc markings on it (two on the forehead, and one on either side of the lower portion of the helmet. The helmet had a large visor that was shaped as though it was the outline of a pair of safety goggles, two portions that were like swayed back horns (one on each side of the head), and had gas mask filter that was primarily black with some red in it where a mouthplate would be.
J3T41N was wearing a blue suit which was similar to Flynn's except the black markings were shaped like diamond plate and it had shoulder pads, gauntlets, and shin guards which were blue with black diamond plate markings on them. J3T41N's helmet was blue with an army like helmet design to it, having two black portions where the cheeks of the face would be giving the helmet a sunken face look, and a black visor that was shaped like sunglasses and wrapped around the helmet.
Rika was now wearing a yellow suit which was similar to Flynn's and J3T41N's except the black markings on her suit were jagged and rigged, giving the suit a spiked/tussled fur appearance. The boots also had half inches wedges on them instead of the combat boots that Flynn and J3T41N's suits had. Rika's helmet was yellow with the same jagged line markings going around it save for the front under the visor, aka the mouth plate. The visor of the helmet was shaped as a pair eyes that were in a fierce gaze and the helmet had a spiked hair design on top of it.
Flynn, J3T41N, and Rika landed in the middle of the platoon then Flynn said,"So fellas, who's attacking first?" in a joking tone. Each of the soldiers aimed their guns at three and we're surprised when their guns broke apart as if they were toys.
"What a shame, looks like you lot are gonna have to use fisticuffs.",Flynn said cheekily before he, J3T41N, and Rika began fighting the soldiers.
{Short Change Hero by The Heavy begins playing}
(Mm, mm. Mm, mm. Mm, mm. Mm-mm, mm…) Flynn, J3T41N, and Rika fight off some soldiers together then split up to get more of them.
(Yeah, I can't see where you comin' from. But I know just what you runnin' from:) Flynn punched two soldiers in their faces then parried a punch from one of the soldiers before leading them into a knee to their stomach. He then flipped that soldier onto their back before dodging a punch from the other soldier. Flynn ran under another punch from the soldier then jumped up and dropkicked the soldier in the chest, causing the soldier to fall down. Flynn fell to the ground then flipped to his feet and sighed in satisfaction.
(And what matters ain't the, 'Who's baddest', but the. Ones who stop you stop you fallin' from your ladder, when you're.) J3T41N punched a soldier three times in the chest then threw the soldier into a group of other soldiers. He then turned around and blocked attacks from three guards with batons. J3T41N then pushed the soldiers away from him before picking one up by the leg and slamming them into three soldiers.
(Feelin' like you feelin' now. And doin' things just to please your crowd.) Rika kicked two soldiers in their chests then she picked up a 2x4 and hit them in the head with it. She was then grabbed from behind and picked up off of the ground, flailing her legs in the air. Rika then hit the soldier in their crotch, causing them to let her go, then she jumped on to the soldier's shoulders and began punching them in the head repeatedly.
(When I love you like the way I love you. And I suffer, but I ain't gonna cut you, 'cause) Flynn, J3T41N, and Rika regrouped while they knocked out the last of the soldiers. One of the soldiers got up and asked,"Who do you three think you are?"
(This ain't no place for no hero. This ain't no place for no better man.) Flynn, J3T41N, and Rika chuckled then Rika said,"Well since you asked so nicely. We might as well tell you."
(This ain't no place for no hero, to call home.) Rika put her right hand on her hip while putting her left one under her chin while saying,"I'm VileYellow." When transformed, Rika is known as VileYellow.
(This ain't no place for no hero.) J3T41N simply stood tall before pointing at himself with his thumb and said,"I am HatefulBlue." When transformed, J3T41N is known as HatefulBlue.
(This ain't no place for no better man.) Flynn spun around then put up two rock out signs with his hands while saying,"I am CorruptRed." When transformed, Flynn is known as CorruptRed.
(This ain't no place for no hero, to call home.) CorruptRed, HatefulBlue, and VileYellow then stood side by side while saying triumphantly in unison,"And we're the Malevomen."
CorruptRed, HatefulBlue, and VileYellow then heard sirens and CorruptRed said,"Love to stay and chat but, we best be high talein' outta here."
The trio then began running away from the many unconscious soldiers as police cars and helicopters approached the scene.
The scene then changes to show Villain Sentai Malevomen written on the screen in bold, white outlined red, blue and yellow letters.

On a news channel, a video of the Malevomen running from soldiers was being shown as the anchorwoman said,"Last night, the trio of criminals known as the Malevomen struck again. This time attempting to rob a supply train bound for the northwest district of Optima, which is still under reconstruction after the devastating landslide which happened a mere three months ago."
Several people watched the news from the sidewalk as it aired on the tv's inside a window display while a young girl rode past them on a skateboard. This girl was in fact Rika and it was revealed that she had short hair in a short ombre with straight bangs style. Her hair was dyed blue and she had a piercing on her lower lip. She currently wore a dark green sweatshirt over a black tube top, black jogging pants that had light blue lines on the sides of them, and grey athletic sneakers.
Rika rode on her skateboard through the city then she got off the board and picked it up before walking into a small convenience store. She looked at the cashier of the store then said,"Hey Darrel."
"Hey Rika, Nez is in the back.",Darrel said. Rika nodded then she went to the back of the convenience store and found a rather tall woman with blonde hair that wore expensive clothing doing inventory. Rika walked up to the woman while saying in a friendly tone,"Heeeyyyy Nezzy Nez, it's me your favorite girl."
"What do you want Rika?",Nez asked in an inattentive tone.
Rika's smile dropped then she said,"Look Nezzy, ya girl is in need right now of some high class materials."
Nez looked at Rika then said,"I am not surprised considering you always come by to get materials, but this time you're not getting any."
"Why not? If it's because of what Hammond said about me, I'm telling you that wasn't true at all.",Rika said defensively. Nez hit Rika on top of her head, causing Rika to stop talking, then she said,"It's not that you idiot. You're not getting any materials because of the last time you got them. Remember?"
"Oooh ho ho, that's why. In my defense, that guy had it coming to him.",Rika said casually. Nez raised an eyebrow and Rika in turn said,"Ugh, okay I'm sorry for destroying a douchebag's car with a teleportation grenade I made with materials I got from you. Happy now?"
"No, but I know it's the best I'm going to get from you. Follow me.",Nez said while walking towards a back wall. Rika fist pumped then moved over to Nez while saying,"Thank you Nezzy Nez."
In another part of the city, someone who is wearing a hooded moss green jacket over a black vest and a red scarf over their neck, blaggy shorts, and faded high top sneakers was staring at a church as people left it. This person was actually J3T41N and it was revealed that he was a robot, (Author's note: I would suggest going to my deviantart in order to see what J3T41N looks like because I can't really find the right words to describe him in great detail.)
J3T41N just stared at the church for many moments then he turned on his heel to leave but stopped when he heard someone say,"Ya know you can go inside too."
J3T41N lifted his head then looked towards the voices origins to see a young black man with dark brown hair that was greying standing a few feet behind him. This man wore a light blue button up shirt, dark blue jeans and timberland boots.
J3T41N looked at the man for mere moments before he said in a solemn tone,"I, I feel that I would be unwelcomed. Given my physiology being nonhuman."
The young man looked at J3T41N then said,"How you look doesn't matter here sir. It's okay for you to come in."
J3T41N stayed silent then he said,"I thank you for the offer but I must be leaving." before he turned on his heel. The young man sighed then he said,"The doors of the church are always open." as J3T41N walked away from the church.
In another part of the city, a man that looked to be at least 25 to 30 years of age was exiting the grocery store with a bag in his hand. This man is actually Flynn and he was revealed to have dirty blonde hair that was short with the sides shaved off and the top fringed. He also wore a blue and violet Hawaiian shirt, blue jeans, and grey running shoes.
Flynn sighed then he walked towards his car but stopped when he saw a group of teens harassing someone. He sighed set his bag into his car before locking the vehicle and walking over to the group. Flynn stopped a few feet behind the group of teens then said,"Okay, what're yeh all doin' to this poor woman?"
"Oh uh nothing Flynn. We weren't doing anything.",one of the teens said as they and the others became frightened by Flynn's presence. Flynn nodded while saying,"Uh huh, well from what I saw. You four were givin' the lass trouble."
"We're sorry ma'am. We'll leave you alone.",One of the teens said before the entire group ran off. Flynn chuckled then he went over to the person that was being harassed and saw that it was in fact Delilah from the first chapter. Flynn helped Delilah up while saying,"Ya okay lass?"
"Yes I am. Thank you sir.",Delilah said while dusting herself off. Flynn nodded then he saw Delilah's face and said,"Hol' on, I know you don't I? Ya look awfully familiar."
"I'm sure you're mistaken. Now I must be on my way, goodbye sir.",Delilah said before she began walking to her car at a rather brisk pace. Flynn just stared at Delilah then he shrugged and went back over to his car.
Back with Rika, she was now in her home screwing something in with a wrench, having taken off her jacket, shoes and socks. She tightened one last time then she stopped and gained a grin of satisfaction before she picked up said item, revealing it to be the rifle she had earlier except it now had another barrel under the three barrels that was painted magenta. Rika marveled at her work then she put the rifle back down on the table before saying,"Oh I've out done myself this time. Adding a grenade launcher to my baby was the best idea I could've had."
"Rika.",A female voice said as they got closer to the door. Rika turned around just as a rather young looking Asian woman with dark brown hair that went to her shoulders came into the room. This woman wore a pink shirt, black sweatpants, and black running shoes. This woman's name is Mari.
Rika's eyes widened then she said in a whiny yet frazzled tone,"Moooom, I've told you this before. No shoes in my room."
"I'm only in here for a second honey. Dinner is ready.",Mari said before she left the room. Rika blinked then she tilted her head back and said,"Augh, now I need to vacuum so the carpet doesn't get messed up." Rika then looked forward as she trudged out of her room towards the dining room. Rika passed by a small dresser and she stopped to look down at a framed picture of herself, Mari, and a tall black man with curly black hair. The three were in front of a silver SUV smiling at one another with Rika holding a document of some kind.
Rika gained a small smile then she made her way to her kitchen, seeing the same man from the photo in there. This man was currently wearing a lime green tank top, black basketball shorts, and black and white sneakers. This man's name is Jackson.
Jackson saw Rika then said with a deep voice,"There's my little girl."
"Daaaad, I'm eighteen. I'm not a little girl anymore.",Rika said while walking up to Jackson. Jackson laughed then hugged Rika while saying,"You'll always be my little girl Rika. Remember, I'm your dad."
Rika chuckled then her phone began vibrating and she took it out before saying,"Okay, I can't stay for dinner. I gotta go meet up with my friends."
"Okay, don't stay out too late.",Jackson said as Rika went back into her room to get her jacket and shoes. Rika then went to the door, now wearing her jacket, shoes, socks, and also having her rifle strapped to her back. Mari and Jackson waved their daughter goodbye as she picked up her skateboard and exited their home.
About five minutes later, Rika had ridden her skateboard a fair bit away from her house before she came to a stop at a rundown shed which was in the middle of a scrapyard. Rika opened the door and went into the shed before closing the door. Rika stood on a small circular carpet that was in the center of the floor then she said,"Rika Chapelle, codename VileYellow. Entry code:036590."
This caused the carpet to glow then change into a cylindrical elevator that then went down into the floor, replacing the carpet with another. This elevator went down a fair bit then it stopped and opened into a command center like area that was primarily gunmetal grey and silver with hints of red, blue, yellow, and white on the walls. This room had a large table in the center of it that had four chairs around it and a big screen in the back most wall. Rika put her skateboard and rifle down then she walked over to the table and plopped herself in the yellow chair and said,"Hah, I'm first to get here."
"Actually you're not.",Flynn said as Rika looked at the red chair to see him sitting there then looking over to the blue chair to see J3T41N sitting in it. Flynn then continued,"Jet got here first and I got here not too long after him."
"Wha? How do you guys get here so fast?!",Rika said in a whiny tone.
"We use different tunnels than you. Also I actually stay here so there's that.",J3T41N said. Rika grumbled then she crossed her arms before saying,"Where's Alistair at?"
"I am here Rika.",Rika, J3T41N, and Flynn heard coming from under the table. They looked in front of them just as an Adélie Penguin jumped onto the table wearing a red beanie, sunglasses, and a white t-shirt that was fitted to its body. This penguin walked to the center of the table while saying,"Also I would like to point out that J3T41N, it is your turn to clean the chairs and floor."
"There ya are Ramyon. So what's up?",Flynn asked with a smile.
"Oh just the usual, Prometheus is doing his usual thing of making you all out to be villains and continuing to have his company mine where the landslide happened as well as make new technologies for the police.",Alistair said while having a holographic appear in front of him. Rika raised an eyebrow then said,"So there's nothing for us to do?"
"I didn't say that. Tonight, you three will be doing some recon on a crime boss named Tri-dye. Reason being is because I've been told that he is a supplier of the crystals which Quinn uses in many of his weaponry. You are all tasked with seeing if this is a true statement or a false lead.",Alistair said rather jovially. J3T41N nodded then said,"This task seems simple enough."
"Yeah it does. A bit too simple in fact. We should be on guard at all times during this job and make sure to not get caught in anything.",Flynn said, accentuating the last part extremely while turning his gaze to Rika. Rika looked up to see Flynn, J3T41N, and Alistair giving her stern gazes, causing her to say,"Why are you looking at me?"
"You were the one to set off the trap last night.",J3T41N said.
"Yeah, so what? I'll be super stealthy on this one. I'll be like a guy hiding his porn stash stealthy.",Rika said with gusto.
"So not stealthy at all and getting by on pure luck.",J3T41N said in a deadpan voice. Flynn and Alistair snickered while Rika looked at J3T41N and said,"No! I'll be like a friggin ninja. Just wait and see, you bucket of bolts."
"I am not a bucket. If I was, then I'd be useless to the team.",J3T41N said, being completely serious. Flynn and Alistair burst into laughter at this, with Alistair falling over and holding his stomach while Flynn hit the table twice and leaned back in his chair. Rika gritted her teeth then said,"Shut up! It's not funny when he doesn't understand sayings."
"Yes it is. It really is.",Flynn said as he and Alistair began to stop laughing. Alistair pushed up his sunglasses and wiped a tear from his eye before saying,"Okay, that was great. Now you all will leave at six thirty tonight. Which gives you about twenty five minutes or so to prepare."
Flynn, J3T41N, and Rika nodded then they stood up and went over to trunks that were at the leftmost wall of the room.
Fifteen minutes later, Flynn, J3T41N, and Rika were in the attire they were in at the beginning of the chapter (which will be dubbed their uniforms from here on) and they walked up to Alistair with J3T41N saying,"We are ready Alistair."
"Good. Now to the Lock and Dock you go!",Alistair said before he slammed his flipper down onto a button. This caused three cylinder-like tunnels to appear on the wall in front of the trio. Flynn ran at his tunnel and then jumped into it by swinging off of an overhead pipe feet first. J3T41N ran at his tunnel and jumped into it while making a cross on his chest and going in feet first. Rika made her rifle condense into only the handle then she dived into her tunnel while saying,"Woo hoo!" happily.
