Flynn backflipped to dodge a guard then he roundhouse kicked the guard in the face before elbowing another in the chest. He then managed to block a nightstick before spinning the guard into a wall knocking them unconscious as he said,"Mason boyo, care to explain why you had us come all the way to the armory for your stuff instead of us leaving like I said!" being slightly angered.
J3T41N punched two guards in their chest then slammed both together before saying,"I'd like to know this information as well."
Mason flipped a guard over then he disarmed another before punching them three times in the face. Mason then dodged a few punches from a guard then he kneed them in the stomach before tossing the guard into three more. Mason then said,"I had to get my stuff cause I got info we need. Info Quinn wants. Plus I wanted my clothes back and they had my change grenade as well as Nessy."
Rika punched a guard in the stomach then pushed them into the wall. She then proceeded to lay several kicks into the guards stomach before pushing them to the floor. Rika then took out her rifle and said with a hint of jealousy,"Who's Nessy?!"
Mason knocked a guard out and was about to speak when he looked at the warden to see that a chainsaw sword that had a white grip and handguard while the blade had the design of a crocodile that was white with black teeth and red eyes along with hints of gold. Mason gasped then angrily said,"WHY DO YOU HAVE NESSY?!"
"Hmm? You mean this sword of yours? I decided to take it as my own trophy not long after we captured you. Thought that it deserves a more experienced owner instead of a Novis like yourself, however it turns out to be broken.",The warden said mockingly while putting her hand on the sword. Mason growled then said,"Oh now I'm gonna get ya! Nobody takes Nessy from me!"
Mason then took out his change grenade, which was a Mk2 fragmentation grenade that was primarily white with a gold lever and pin while it had four black lines on it, then pulled the pin while saying,"Change grenade, cultivate."
This caused a cloud of white smoke, that was also accompanied by blinding white lights, surrounded Mason before it dissipated. Mason was revealed to be in a suit similar to the other Malevomen's except his was completely white with bold black crescent moon shaped lines on the chest, arms, back, legs, and boots. He also had gold hems on his wrists and ankles. Mason's helmet was white with black spike like lines on the back that looped around to being on the cheeks of the helmet, a gold headband which had a red diamond shaped jewel in the center of it, and a black visor which was in the shape of an upside down triangle but also was directly under the gold headband, making it appear like a stylized V.
Rika stopped fighting briefly and said,"Ooh, I like your suit. Think you should be called Wickedwhite."
Mason, now known as Wickedwhite when transformed, looked at Rika then said,"Huh, great name bluestreak. Wickedwhite I am." before he charged at the warden.
"He's got the right idea.",Flynn said as he took out his change grenade along with Rika and J3T41N.
"Change grenade, cultivate!",Flynn, J3T41N, and Rika said before they pulled the pins and changed into the Malevomen. Wickedwhite made his way to the warden and threw a punch at her, with her dodging it then hitting him in the chin. Wickedwhite stumbled back then he blocked three kicks from the warden before he ducked under a punch and grabbed the hilt of the chainsaw sword on the warden's hip. The warden noticed this then she kicked Wickedwhite in the side, causing him to stumble to the side. The warden scoffed triumphantly then she noticed that the chainsaw sword was off of her hip, her gaining a surprised expression before she looked at Wickedwhite as he stood up.
Wickedwhite held his sword in his hand then said with a satisfied and somewhat startling glee,"Hey Nessy, ready to wake up?" while admiring his sword. He then brandished the blade and pulled a trigger on the hilt, causing the blade to start up briefly. Wickedwhite chuckled then said,"Oh ho ho ho, I missed you too girl." with joy.
He then charged at the warden and slashed at her, the warden revealing a steel nightstick to block the slash. The warden retaliated by swinging her nightstick at Wickedwhite, but he easily blocked and parried the nightstick before countering by kicking the warden in the side. The two continued to battle, with Wickedwhite showing his prowess with a blade greatly.
Corruptred, Hatefulblue, and Vileyellow had beaten all the guards then they looked to Wickedwhite's fight and Corruptred said,"Huh, seems the fella is really good with a sword."
"Yes, his prowess with a blade is to be reckoned with. However, I must say his technique is rather brutish.",Hatefulblue commented casually.
"But he makes it look so hot.",Vileyellow said, entranced by Wickedwhite. Corruptred and Hatefulblue turned their heads to Vileyellow with Corruptred saying,"Okay lass, you need to explain the relationship between you and the lanky boyo over there."
Suddenly, Wickedwhite landed in front of the trio and he grunted before saying,"Okay, she's tougher than expected. Mind helping a guy out."
The warden readied herself then she and the Malevomen heard Prometheus say over the PA system,"Hey hey everyone. It's me, Prometheus Quinn, ya know the guy who wants the Malevomen dead." in his usual charismatically egotistic manner.
"Am I the only one who considers a pint of the black stuff whenever I hear this eejits voice?"Corruptred said, his Irish accent became slightly harsher when he became perturbed. Vileyellow and Wickedwhite looked at Corruptred, who looked at them and said,"It's Irish slang for Guinness." causing both Malevomen to nod.
"Anyway, seeing as how I have all of you here, I've decided that I'm gonna make the best of the situation. Just in case you're too stupid to understand that, which I'm sure the yellow one is, that means I'm gonna sic and Xceeded on you.",Prometheus said with evil joy.
"Xceeded?",Wickedwhite questioned.
"They're augmented humans that have great power but are somewhat monstrous. We have only encountered one so far.",Hateblue explained to Wickedwhite. The four Malevomen then looked at the warden to see her beginning to writhe and convulse as hot pink veins appeared all over her body. She then began to change and once her transformation was done, she was now a large Rottweiler humanoid that had navy blue fur, silver teeth, silver claws, and glowing light blue eyes. The warden's clothes were also torn and tattered slightly as she grew to be around seven feet tall.
"Huh, I know us prisoners called her a guard dog at times but this is too literal.",Wickedwhite bantered. The warden snarled then she leapt at the group, tackling Wickedwhite to the ground, causing him to drop his sword, and trying to bite his neck. Wickedwhite held the warden's snarling maw back as she continuously snapped at him. Corruptred tried to push the warden off of Wickedwhite but he was swatted away, crashing into a support pillar.
Vileyellow readied her rifle then she began firing at the warden, hitting her in the sid. The warden growled then she charged at Vileyellow, who screamed before running away, still firing at the Rottweiler Xceeded. Wickedwhite gasped and quickly got to his feet and looked around before getting his sword and chasing after Vileyellow.
The Rottweiler Xceeded pounced on Vileyellow, who kicked her in the stomach. The Rottweiler Xceeded growled then barked as she revealed claws and slashed Vileyellow across the abdomen three times. Vileyellow tumbled back then she said,"Guys, help please!"
The Rottweiler Xceeded growled and moved to slash Vileyellow but she was punched across the face by Hatefulblue before getting punched two more times. The Xceeded stumble then slashed at Hatefulblue, who managed to block them but felt some pain from the attacks, before she was drop kicked in the side by Corruptred. The Rottweiler Xceeded hit against the wall and winced then she growled and began stalking towards the three Malevomen.
"Okay tin man, mind comin' up with a plan?",Corruptred said as he and his two comrades backed away from the Rottweiler Xceeded as it neared them.
"I would but it appears this Xceeded is vastly different from Tri-dye. Being more animalistic and unpredictable.",Hateblue said in his usual calm voice.
"Oh that's just great.",Vileyellow sarcastically said.
The Rottweiler Xceeded charged at the three Malevomen and they all went to the ground to dodge her. She then propelled herself off the wall behind the Malevomen and went towards Vileyellow, who screamed as she braved herself to be hurt.
It was then that Wickedwhite had the blade of his sword spinning as he got in front of Vileyellow and cleaved the Rottweiler Xceeded in two. The Xceeded's body landed behind Vileyellow then turned to dust as the team regrouped and changed back into their civilian forms. Mason turned to Rika and helped her up while saying,"You okay, Bluestreak?"
"Yeah. Thanks for saving me.",Rika said while putting her rifle away and blushing heavily under her goggles and bandana. Flynn rolled his eyes then said,"Okay, let's get goin' before Quinn decides to send someone else after us."
"Oh he won't be doing that, nor will he be using any footage to slander us or reveal my identity.",Mason said with confidence as he put up his fingers and began counting down from five. It was when he reached zero that he, Rika, J3T41N and Flynn heard an explosion come from a portion of the prison. Flynn and J3T41N looked at Mason with contempt as they said,"What did you do?!"
"I placed a very powerful bomb in their server room a little bit before they took me prisoner. Surprised they didn't find it in the weeks I've been here but since they didn't, I was able to activate it on our way to get my stuff and it worked swimmingly.",Mason said with pride.
"Okay so firstly, screw you guys for blowing up those servers. I was going to use that footage to show how vile each of you are! Second, nice job at getting over on me. Gotta say I am impressed that I never noticed that bomb.",Prometheus Quinn said from the P.A system, with some anger in his first two sentences. Mason nodded then he and the other Malevomen left the prison unseen.
An hour later at the Malevomen's base, Mason had taken off his mask and was talking to Alistair when Rika, J3T41N, and Flynn came into the main room wearing their civilian clothes. Rika chuckled then she hugged Mason tightly before saying,"I missed you so much."
"I missed you two bluestreak, and I gotta say that you make my old hoodie look so much better than I did.",Mason said with a smile. Rika chuckled then said,"Oh c'mon, you rocked this old thing way better than I did."
"No I didn't. Okay I did but you still look freaking gorgeous.",Mason said before he and Rika briefly laughed. Alistair gained a confused expression then he asked,"Mason, you know Rika?"
"Yeah, I'd like an explanation on how you know the lass 'ere boyo.",Flynn said as he and J3T41N gave him scowls, them both becoming protective of Rika. Rika groaned then said,"Guys, it's like SUPER obvious by now. Mason is my boyfriend."
Flynn and Alistair's jaws dropped while J3T41N's eye widened as all three said,"What?! You two are a couple."
"That we are, or at least now we are. We wanted to be in one three years ago but I kinda left rehab before she did and we lost touch.",Mason said while putting his arm around Rika's shoulders. Rika smiled then put her head on Mason's chest. (Author's note: Just to let you guys know the heights of the Malevomen for perspective. Flynn is 5' 10", J3T41N is 7 feet and 1 inch tall, Rika is 5 feet and 6 inches tall, and Mason is 6 feet and 6 inches tall. So yeah, Rika only reaches Mason's chest.)
"Rehab? As in rehabilitation?",Alistair questioned.
"Rika, you were in this place?",J3T41N asked.
"Yeah, I'll go into it later because now I wanna go home and sleep. Plus I have a lot of catching up to do with Mason.",Rika said with joy. She then turned to Mason and looked up at him before saying,"Get down here."
Mason bent down slightly and Rika immediately captured his lips in a passionate kiss that lasted a few minutes, Mason standing up and picking Rika up as they continued kissing. Rika pulled away and smiled while staring at Mason's lips and saying rather sexily,"I've waited to do that for three years. See you tomorrow Redhead."
"See you tomorrow Bluestreak.",Mason said with a smirk. The young couple kissed once more then Mason put Rika on her feet and she walked towards the exit. Mason sighed blissfully then said,"She is still the most amazing girl I've met." with a joyful smile. He then looked at the others and his smile went away as he saw their stern gazes.
"What?",Mason questioned.
"You got to explain yer relationship with the lass quick, boyo.",Flynn said.
"Very quickly.",J3T41N said in a menacingly stern voice as he simulated cracking his knuckles. Mason put his hands up then he said,"Whoa whoa, cool your tits guys. I'll explain that to you when Rika's here but right now I just wanna go home and rest for a sec. I did just get out of prison after all."
Flynn, J3T41N, and Alistair looked at one another then Alistair said,"You are allowed to rest but, tomorrow morning you report here along with Rika to explain yourself."
Mason nodded then he left the base in a hurry. Flynn sighed then said,"So Alistair, exactly why was he at that prison in the first place? Ya know, besides the whole gettin' captured business."
"Oh he was there to get information on Quinn's experiments.",Alistair said while turning to Flynn.
"Why would that information be at a prison?",J3T41N asked.
"Oh it wasn't but I had him go there because I needed to confirm a theory I had. Which was that Quinn was using prisoners to experiment on.",Alistair explained.
Flynn and J3T41N nodded then Flynn said,"Well, we didn't see any kind of equipment like that there."
"Yes Mason told me. It would appear that Quinn's using other means to get his subjects then and we must find out what it is before more Xceeded are made.",Alistair said.
At Prometheus Quinn's office, Prometheus sat in his chair reading some files that were sprawled out over his desk. Prometheus grumbled then said,"Ugh, running a company and trying to exact revenge against my mother's murderers is way more tiring than I expected."
Prometheus then stopped what he was doing when he heard a series of clicks and bass boosted thuds all around him. He looked around while saying,"Who's there?"
Prometheus heard no answer and he stood up while making his blade come out of his arm. He moved from his desk, being cautious while doing so, and slowly moved around the room until he stopped and swung his blade behind him. Prometheus' arm was caught by a being that was wearing a hooded burgundy robe which covered it entirely save for its large metallic navy blue skeletal like hands. Prometheus gasped then moved back, the robed being letting him go and lifting their hooded head to reveal four glowing eyes that were colored crimson and in the same placement as Prometheus' mask portion of his face.
Prometheus's eyes widened then he said,"What are you?"
"I go by the name of Karon in your language. This is not the first time you've seen me, Prometheus Quinn.",the robed being now known as Karon said in a deep, mechanized yet reverberated voice.
"Huh? I've never met a creature like you before.",Prometheus said while his blade went back into his mechanical arm.
"But you have, many times. However I am not here for discussion, only to tell you that they are special. The duo you encountered the previous day.",Karon said.
Prometheus looked at Karon then said,"You mean Vicky and Milo. They are special, what do you mean?"
"You shall know when you awaken young Quinn.",Karon said as its eyes glowed brighter and it put its hands out to Prometheus.
Suddenly, Prometheus awoke in his chair and he was breathing heavily while looking around, seeing that it was morning. Harold walked into Prometheus' office, saw his friend then said,"Morning Quinn. Got here early as usual."
Harold walked towards Prometheus when he got no answer and asked in a concerned tone,"Hey Quinn, you alright?"
Prometheus looked at Harold then said,"Yeah Harold. I'm fine, I'm fine. Just had a bit of a nightmare. Got anything for me?"
"Yeah. So the excavation team uncovered some more of that metal you wanted and some crystals. The police force says crime is still down save for the Malevomen. As you know, the Malevomen broke one of their members out last night and destroyed the servers.",Harold said casually. Prometheus grimaced while grumbling,"Screw them for that one. Gonna take real pleasure when I get them."
"Same here. Oh and Alexis said that she got information on those two you asked her about, plus she's found out that they were recently put into the hospital for some reason. I stopped listening after a bit.",Harold said casually. Prometheus nodded then he did a double take and said,"Wait, they're in the hospital?! Why?!"
"From what Alexis said, and this is gonna be weird even for us, the girl collapsed and froze a table while the guy got a fever so hot a phone melted.",Harold said.
"For serious?",Prometheus asked.
"For serious dude.",Harold said while nodding. The two men stayed in a comfortable silence for a few moments then Harold said,"We're going to the hospital aren't we?"
"Yes we are buddy. Tell Chaplin to meet us in the garage!",Prometheus said with enthusiasm as he got to his feet. He and Harold then began to exit the office in a bit of curious joy for the situation.
