Christmas eve

Jack and Ty were struggling to fit the Christmas tree through the front door. Lou walked into the room and said," Are you sure that tree is big enough?" You say that every year," grumbled Jack . " Is it going to touch the roof? asked Lou. Jack sighed and Lisa laughed from the kitchen, where she was decorting ginger bread cookies, with Katie and Lyndy. Jack and Ty were setting up the tree in the living room. Jade and Georgie walked into the kitchen with the decorations. "Where is Amy?" asked Georgie " She said she wanted to help decorate the tree." " I think she is out riding Sparten" said Lisa. " Ok" said Georgie. She and Jade walked into the living room. A couple minutes later, Amy walked into the room and they all gathered in the living room, to decorate the tree.

Christmas day

Everyone sat down at the table to enjoy the Christmas dinner that Lisa and Lou had prepared. Jack carved the turkey, like he did every year. Everyone piled food onto their plates. Jack said a toast and then they dug in. After dinner everyone went to the living room, leaving the dishes for later. Lou gave Kaite her gift and Amy and Ty took Lyndy outside for hers . The snow crunched beneath their boots. It had snowed the night before. Amy and Ty led Lyndy to the stable. " Wait here" said Ty. A minute later Ty walked out of the barn with a pony! Lyndy squealed in delight, her first pony! Amy smiled, she remembered her first pony, Gumdrop. Lyndy cautiously approached the pony. Amy handed her a sugar cube and she fed it to her pony. Lyndy ran her hands across the pony's mane and it snorted. " Does she have a name?" asked Lyndy. " Not Yet," said Amy. "What do you want to name her?" Lyndy thought for a moment and then said " Daisy." It was starting to snow, so Ty put Daisy back in the barn and they all went back inside. The entire family talked, laughed and sang Christmas carol's, the rest of the evening.
