Three to four weeks after he events of last chapter, Flynn and Mason were out in the city doing some task for Alistair. Flynn currently wore a black Hawaiian shirt that had white flowers on it, beige shorts, and faded black boots. Mason wore a dark green shirt, blue jeans, and black boots.

"Okay, this bird has some weird taste. I say that knowin' I'mma Irishmen who prefers to call fries, fries and not chips.",Flynn said as he looked at a list.

"I thought that was a British thing?",Mason said.

"It's a Europe thing boyo.",Flynn clarified, Mason nodding as an answer. The two continued walking then Mason said,"So Flynn, we've become somewhat friends in the weeks we've known each other right?"

"Eh… that's up for debate but in a way yes. Why do ya ask?",Flynn said, gaining a skeptical gaze towards Mason.

"Well I ask because I have a question about J3T41N and I know you guys are close.",Mason said. Flynn raised an eyebrow then said,"Why you asking me something about Jet? Why not ask him?"

"Because this question isn't about him, it's more about what he does. I mean you do what you do around your neighborhood, Rika improves her weapons while also repairing things for money, I gather intel while also raking in dough from a business I own. Jet on the other hands, from what I know, does nothing outside of be a Malevoman. Which is weird because Alistair tells me, he's out of the base most of the time.",Mason said. Flynn chuckled then said,"Listen boyo, Jet does what Jet does. I don't know what that is and I don't need to. That's the end of that." in a wise tone.

Mason raised an eyebrow but followed Flynn nonetheless.

In another part of the city, J3T41N was in the sanctuary of the church he usually was outside of. He was praying at the altar and once he had concluded, he stood up and turned to leave only to see the young man he had briefly interacted with a while ago standing behind him. J3T41N's eye widened then he looked away from the young man while saying,"Apologies, I didn't know anyone was present."

"It's fine sir. I've known you come in here to pray when no ones around for a while now and I've seen you outside on Sunday every week.",the man said with kindness and compassion. J3T41N looked at the man then he said,"Apologies once again. I shall stay away from now on."

"No no, I didn't mean that in a bad way. I've told you before that the doors of the church are always open. That means that you can fellowship with the rest of the congregation as well as join service whenever you want. You do not need to hide.",The young man said. J3T41N blinked then said,"Even though that may be true, I feel that I… would disrupt the service."

The young man sighed then said,"Well, as I said, we will always welcome you in."

"Thank you sir. I must be going now.",J3T41N said politely as he left the church.

Many blocks away from the church, J3T41N was still walking and contemplating the words of the young man at the church when he began to hear a woman's scream. He lifted his head and saw two people forcing a young Asian woman into an alley as she tried to get away from them. J3T41N gained an angered expression, indicated only by his eye, then made his way to the alley.

In the alley, both people were trying to quit the woman down as she screamed for help with one of them saying,"Shut up! This will be quick if you just shut up."

Suddenly, this person was grabbed by his shoulder and tossed back into the wall of the alley. The other person looked back to see J3T41N and shouted in fear, as the large robotic man said,"It would be wise of you to let her go."

The other person stepped back while frantically saying,"Okay okay. Just don't hurt me please."

J3T41N stepped towards the man while saying,"That I cannot do. I must make sure you understand your transgression." menacingly. J3T41N then took the person by their arm and threw them into a large dumpster along with the other person. He let out a sigh and his expression softened before he walked over to the woman and asked,"Are you hurt ma'am?"

"No, I'm alright. Just a tiny bit rattled is all. Thank you sir.",The woman said, not looking at J3T41N and feeling around the ground. J3T41N tilted his head in confusion then noticed a white cane had fallen at the alley's entrance and he said,"You are blind."

The woman smiled nervously then said,"Yes I am. I try not to be a bother for people but, it seems like I can't escape it."

J3T41N helped the woman to her feet while saying,"Ma'am, you are no bother."

The woman smiled then nodded before saying,"Thank you for being nice. Um, may I ask what your name is?"

"My designation is J3T41N, which in itself is shortened from the actual fifteen alphanumerical designation. However, most refer to me as Jetain.",J3T41N answered while handing the woman her cane. The woman took her cane and nodded then she said,"Well Jetain, my name is Haruka and I thank you for helping me."

Haruka then began exiting the alley but she noticed J3T41N was still at her side and she said,"Why are you following me?"

"I am seeing to it that no others harm you. It would be a disservice if I allowed for you to be taken once again.",J3T41N said in his normal calm tone. Haruka gained a small smile as she and J3T41N began walking together, her eventually starting a conversation with the tall robotic man.

At the Malevomen base, Flynn and Mason entered with bags in their arms while Mason said,"Yo Al, we got all the stuff you wanted!"

"Thank you both. Now Mason, please help me.",Alistair said from atop a cupboard. Rika was standing at the base of the cupboard with a hammer in her hand while she said,"Get down here you damn bird!" while jumping up toward Alistair.

"Okay, mind explainin' what has happened here?",Flynn asked as he and Mason put down the bags. Rika turned to her friend and angrily said,"The bird has eaten my favorite snack and I am going to end him." before she went to trying to hurt Alistair. Mason sighed then he went over to Rika and picked her up before taking her over to a chair and sitting her in it.

Flynn helped Alistair down then said,"So Alistair, got any missions for us?"

"Yes I do. There's a tire shop near the airport that has had some suspicious activity going on around it for several months now. I want you all to investigate it at once.",Alistair said while putting a map up on the console. Flynn nodded then said,"Alright, we'll all get going once we're suited up."

"Uh one problem though. We're missing a robot known as J3T41N.",Rika mentioned.

"Oh yeah, where is he?",Mason asked, which Alistair responded to by shrugging.

At a small suburban home, J3T41N was helping Haruka up her front porch and to her door. Haruka smiled then she said,"Thank you for your help J3T41N."

"You are welcome Haruka. Is there anyone here to keep you company?",J3T41N asked. Haruka nodded then said,"I live with my sister and her family and my nephew is home to help me."

"Very well. Till we meet again.",J3T41N said in his both friendly yet blunt fashion. He began leaving when the door to the house opened and a young Asian man with black hair came out and said,"Aunt Haruka, where have you been?"

"I went for a walk Nathaniel. Got mugged when my new friend J3T41N saved me and escorted me home.",Haruka said to the young man with a smile on her face. J3T41N turned to Nathaniel and said,"Greetings." Even though he could clearly see that the boy was startled by his appearance. Nathaniel nodded then he helped his aunt inside as Haruka said,"Goodbye J3T41N, I hope to see you later."

"Till we meet again Ms. Haruka.",said J3T41N before he left the house and began on his way.

Once he was a mile away from Haruka's home, J3T41N took out his phone as he heard it ringing. He answered the call and said,"Yes Flynn?"

"Hey tin man, we got a mission down by the airport. Need you to get back here so we can suit up.",Flynn said over the phone. J3T41N nodded then hung up before he began moving back to the base.

At a tire shop called Dead Tire'd, the Malevomen, now in their uniforms, walked through the front gate of the shop just as the sun was setting. Rika looked at Flynn then asked,"Okay so mind telling me why we are walking in through the front gate instead of being stealthy."

"We are doing this because the guy running this possibly already expects us to come plus it's a tire shop. What's the worse he could throw at us?",Mason said while casually walking in.

Suddenly, turrets and mechanical dogs came out of one of the garages. The Malevomen looked at the attackers and J3T41N said,"That could be the worse he can throw at us."

"Quiet tin man.",Mason said while taking out his chainsaw sword and revving it. Rika revealed her rifle, while Flynn and J3T41N readied themselves. J3T41N, Flynn, and Mason charged at the dogs while Rika began firing on the turrets and getting behind cover. J3T41N punched a robotic dog then slammed it on the ground before backhanding another. Flynn jumped over a dog then cart wheeled to dodged another before he caused two dogs to charge into one another. Mason cut several mechanical dogs in half with his sword. Rika fired at the turrets and she eventually got back behind cover while saying,"Since regular bullets aren't working."

Rika put a magazine into her rifle and loaded it before she got out of cover and fired at the turrets, destroying them instantly. Rika let out a confident hmph before Mason got behind her and destroyed a mechanical dog that was about to bite. He then looked back at Rika and said,"Don't celebrate too early, blue streak."

"Thanks babe.",Rika said to Mason while feeling on his arm in a suggestive manner.

"Not the time for flirting!",Flynn yelled as he was running away from three mechanical dogs. Rika and Mason then began fighting mechanical dogs again. J3T41N punched another dog then he tossed one towards a car, causing it to shake and let out a frightened yelp. J3T41N heard this and narrowed his vision towards the car before walking over to it. Looking into the window, J3T41N's eye widened when he saw a young woman in rags huddling in the backseat. He tore the door off then said,"Ma'am, why are you in this place at this hour?"

The young woman fearfully looked at J3T41N then said,"I was kidnapped. They kept me and others here." before she screamed in terror and looked behind the robotic man. J3T41N turned around to see a muscular man wearing a grey mechanics jumpsuit over a red shirt, and black sneakers standing behind him with a crowbar in hand. This man readied himself then said,"I'm going to have to ask you to step away from my property, tin man. Unless you want to buy her from me of course."

"I believe you are mistaken, this is a woman not your property. She is not to be bought and sold like cattle.",J3T41N said, his voice showing anger.

"Maybe to you tin man. To me and several others around the world, people like her are nothing more than property to be sold to the highest bidder. Especially when they make great slaves or prostitutes.",The man said. J3T41N clenched his hand into a fist then saying,"Ma'am, hide yourself while I deal with this foul creature." to the young woman. The young woman did as she was told while saying,"Thank you." to J3T41N.

The man gritted his teeth then he charged at J3T41N, swinging his crowbar at the robotic man. J3T41N dodged the crowbar then easily disarmed the man before picking him up by his shirt and throwing the man into a rack of used tires. He grunted in anger then proceeded to make his way towards the man.

The man stood up and grunted before charging at J3T41N, crowbar ready. He swing it at J3T41N several times, all of which we're dodged, until he hit J3T41N once in the shoulder. The man smiled then noticed his crowbar had broken and that J3T41N was now angry. He picked the man up by his shirt and said,"You are scum that deserves nothing but death for how you see people as property." angrily.

The man showed great fear as he looked at the angry J3T41N and he was surprised when the robotic man dropped him while saying,"However, it is not my place to seek revenge on you."

The man trembled while fearfully saying,"What?"

"Dearly beloved, avenge not yourselves, but rather give place unto wrath; for it is written, Vengeance is mine; I will repay, saith the Lord.",J3T41N said while calming down. "Romans 12:19."

"Did he just say a bible scripture?",Mason questioned, while he, Rika, and Flynn walked up to J3T41N having finished off the last of the robotic dogs.

"Yeah. Jet's a devout christian, never a day where you can't see him reading the bible or praying.",Rika explained to her boyfriend as she and Flynn came to stand beside him. J3T41N then turned on his heel and began walking away from the man. The man's expression softened and he looked regretful briefly before he began to convulse violently and his skin began to harden.

"Not so fast Malevomen. You haven't dealt with my Xceeded friend here.",The Malevomen heard Prometheus say from a loudspeaker and several stereos in the tire shop. J3T41N turned around to see that the man had now changed into a golem like being that had metallic skin, blood red eyes, girder like spider legs, and a furnace in the middle of his chest.

"Ooookay, that's a new one.",Flynn said with apprehension.

"It's also terrifying to see.",Rika said while aiming her rifle. J3T41N gained a saddened expression then he said,"You leave me no choice."

All four Malevomen took out their change grenades and pulled the pins while saying,"Change grenade, cultivate!"

The Malevomen gained their suits then began fighting the Girder Xceeded. CorruptRed and WickedWhite dodged punches then punched the girder Xceeded in the back and side before reeling back, shaking their hands in pain. The girder Xceeded punched both Malevomen back then it roared as it was pelted with bullets from VileYellow's rifle. The girder Xceeded roared then shot a torrent of fire from the furnace on its chest at VileYellow. VileYellow let a terrified yelp before she jumped behind a car that was being worked on.

HatefulBlue punched the girder Xceeded in the face then landed five more punches to the beast's face. He was then hit by the girder Xceeded's leg then grabbed by the throat and slammed into the ground. The girder Xceeded began to crush HatefulBlue's throat, causing the robotic man to grunt in pain, then its hand was cut off by WickedWhite then it was kicked in the side of the head by CorruptRed, who followed that kick by kicking the girder Xceeded in the chin.

CorruptRed landed next to HatefulBlue then said,"AH, DAMMIT! That hurt!" while holding his foot.

"What did you expect to happen lucky charms?",VileYellow snarked.

"Oi, I told ya to never call me that lass.",CorruptRed said while standing up straight. WickedWhite readied his sword then said,"So, how do we defeat this thing?"

HatefulBlue stood up and stayed silent then he said,"Mason, you must follow up what I am about to do by cutting down this Xceeded."

"Uh sure?",WickedWhite responded. He was then surprised when Hatefulblue picked up an entire car and chucked it at the girder Xceeded. The girder Xceeded shot a torrent of fire at the car, destroying it entirely, then it looked forwards just in time to see WickedWhite charge at it and slashed it.

WickedWhite stopped behind the Xceeded as its torso and lower body disconnected from one another and fell to the ground. WickedWhite reverted into Mason and said,"Huh, that worked. Nice one J."

J3T41N walked up to the Xceeded and knelt down before he began praying,"Heavenly father, I come to you on behalf of your fallen son here. I ask that you have mercy upon him as he goes on to the afterlife. Bring him peace Lord, in your son Jesus name. Amen."

J3T41N then stood up and walked over to where the woman from earlier was hiding and he checked up on her. Mason, Flynn, and Rika stood side by side and watched as J3T41N talked to the woman and consoled her. Flynn looked at Mason then said,"So boyo, still wonderin' what Jet does on his spare time?"

"Nah, I've figured it out for the most part.",Mason said while resting his sword on his shoulder and staring at how J3T41N cared for the woman in front of him.
