Hey Guys, MegaSalamence64 here, I'm back with the second Christmas Annual story of this One shot collection!
This Story will be following Mewtwo when Ness decided to interact with him during the Christmas Party. Nothing much else to say but enjoy! ;)

Symposis: Pidgeys of a Feather…. It's a phase Mewtwo heard from Humans but he never really took much noticed of the term… Until fellow PSI user Ness helped shed some light on this strange term.

Smash Mansion, Main Cafeteria/Hall, Christmas Eve
If there one thing on Mewtwo's Mind that he wasn't thinking about, it's being in a party, Hanging out with not just humans but other creatures from other worlds, In a Large Mansion runned by two sentient floating gloves with one of them being obsessed with what the Humans call….. Fanfic and Pranks…...
'Not what I had in mind…. But I rather prefer people not pestering me right now…..' He thought to himself as he took a sip of his water. 'It's also better then being near Humans whom have the strangest intentions in mind…. Especially with those whom wanted power and nothing more….'
The Genetic Pokémon was currently sitting on one of the table, drinking some plain water as he looked at the crowd of Smashers ahead of him,
There was the Pikachu invited to the First tournament along with his offspring interacting with the woman called Samus, No doubt looking ahead at the Pageant being held on stage which he helped developed with the other originals during the 64 tournament
From what he has heard from the other smashers, it was a newer version of the Pageant held during the previous tournament, A Retelling of the two human brothers named Mario and Luigi saving the Princess Peach from their arch nemesis Bowser…..
Well the actor playing as Bowser that is rather played by Leo, One of the Mansion's Helpers and part of Master Hand's Mii Trio, A group design to help Smashers throughout the tourney as preparation for the Grand Finale Tournament event, where the victor of the whole Tournament will be decided via this event.
The Music was also played by the Jigglypuff also invited with the Pink Puffball named Kirby as the duo are playing a duet* with Jigglypuff playing her usual music and Kirby counterbalancing the lullaby with his singing which while loud, somewhat counters the slumber inducing effect of the Balloon Pokémon's music.
It was considered mixed at best but if it means the audience won't be falling asleep (And by extension getting scribbled with Marker drawings in the process), They will take it…. Somewhat.
'For a play made by Humans, It's rather interesting to say the least…..' Mewtwo thought to himself as he looked at the performance on stage as Mario was currently dueling with 'Bowser' with his brother as Princess Peach was currently looking in worry and fear at the two Plumber brothers are currently having to deal with some minions of Bowser (played by some of the Smaller Pokémon whom were native to the World of Trophies like Cyndaquil and Chikorita) with the stage props adding to the dramatic effect.
'Well Humans do really love the concept of music….' Mewtwo thought to himself as he glanced at the Puffballs singing as the action on stage intensify like a Charizard using OverHeat.
He never admitted to anyone but the Genetic Pokémon is a big fan of music, One of the few concepts from Humans he can get behind.
While He may have still has his doubts regarding the beings whom created him, he can at least like the concept of a sound that can calm you down without needing to destroy or kill someone.
He was even able to purchase an MP3 player from Smash City** which he can listen to when not in battles.
There were also some music that he really like classic music which helped him calm down every now and then… but However, There were some questionable choices like that Rock and Roll genre that humans like... or that repulsive Heavy Metal that almost makes him want to bang his head against a wall whenever he hears it.
He never really understood why Humans always wanting to harm themselves through such repulsive music, Almost like they don't give two Muks about themselves.
'I have to admitted, Humans have the weirdest taste in things….' The Purple Gentic Pokémon thought to himself, 'They are willing to abuse other beings….. And then try to become them?'
'They really either hate being themselves or just have no sense of awareness!' He thought to himself as he recalled some scientist planning to take human and Pokemon Evolution to the next level…..
…By turning into Pokémon themselves.
It was already bad enough for them to treat Pokémon like slaves but to become Pokémon? That alone shows them how stupid they are.
'I thought Humans are happy being themeslves…. But I guess this proves they almost don't care for even themselves…..' Mewtwo continued as he then shot a glance at Samus whom was with Pikachu and Pichu, the smaller rodent whom was cheering for Mario to beat 'Bowser' On stage, her father trying to settle her down before she get TOO excited.
'But, There were Humans who care for others…. Like him…' He continued to himself as a brown haired boy with a Charizard, Ivysaur and Squritle proved his own ideals wrong and shown that even humans do care for Pokémon… and that proves true for the humans from other worlds as well...
'That Pikachu and his Pichu Daughter seemed fine around Samus, Almost like she was their trainer...' Mewtwo thought to himself while recalling more of the Trainer whom show him there's good in humanity while looking at a small Purple marble like stone in his hands.
'Sometimes, I wonder how he's doing….' He thought to himself before shaking that question out of his head as he placed the stone back to his usual place for it. 'But the less dwelling on humans in my opinion, the better…'
'I personally would prefer not to Psystrike anyone into oblivion if I can given what Humans thought of me back tend…..' The genetic Pokémon thought to himself at his previous destructive behavior before he have meet that Human.
"Hey Mewtwo, Are you ok?" said a nearby voice as the psychic Pokémon as he soon turned to whom has said it.
It was a young boy with a red baseball cap and a blue shirt, He also was holding a small yellow drink in his hands as he looked back at the genetic Pokémon.
This was Ness, an Original Member to the Smashers during the first tournament, He was also a fellow psychic in a way, Not unlike the humans from Mewtwo's world.
"I noticed you been dazing off lately, You need a drink to help youself?" Ness questioned the Gentic Pokémon with a concern tone as he passed him a drink.
"And don't worry about it, It's not poisoned I swear….. It's Pinap juice…." Ness continued with a smile. "It's made for Pokémon like you."
Upon hearing the words come out of his mouth, Mewtwo then shot one look at the drink and then to Ness, Whom was giving him a 'Don't worry' Look on his face as he did so.
'Well, He's mind doesn't show any ill intention…' Mewtwo thought to himself as he looked back at the drink, 'It's should be safe…..'
He then took a big gulp of the juice as Ness looked back in worry, No doubt hopping the worst won't happen….
'Ok, I know Mewtwo's a bit of a recluse from what the others has said,' Ness thought to himself as he looked back at the Genetic Pokémon.
'But I hope he considered it edible for him…..' He continued his train of thought as he then noticed the genetic Pokémon showing a rare emotion beyond being Stoic.
'If you want my opnion, It's good….' Said the Genetic Pokémon as he looked back at Ness via his telephatic powers, the former even smirking back to him as well.
"Wait, How do you do that?" Ness said back in shock as the surprise soon died down,
'You're a psychic and you don't know about this?' Mewtwo said back to the PSI user with some surprise in his tone. 'Interesting….'
"Well truth be told I don't really have a time doing that thing…." Ness continued as he looked back at Mewtwo with some surprise in his tone. "I usually focused on PSI magic and that is…."
"Like PK Fire and PK Thunder but to be honest, learning a Teacher or someone whom's a really good would really be helpful for me truth be told..."
As Mewtwo looked back at Ness, He then noticed the Boy was young but a good heart lays inside him…. Like the trainer whom shown him that not all of them are as bad as he once thought they were.
'….. Do you want me to teach you the psychic arts?" Mewtwo questioned Ness with some solemnness in his tone, 'I can help you with that….'
"Wait really?" Ness questioned the more powerful psychic in the area with some surprise in his tone. "You mean it?"
'Only for you….' He said back to Ness with a small hint of tranqulity in his telepathic voice, 'Meet me at my room….. soon….'
"Well ok, But how about we go together?" Ness said back to Mewtwo whom was shock even more at the Boy's response. "I mean you could use the company after all…."
Mewtwo then remained quiet for a bit before simply smirking back to Ness.
'Very well, Let's go….' He said back to him as he used his Psychic powers to lift the cup and throw it into the bin.
Once the act was done, He and Ness soon went into the his room, A strange feeling entering Mewtwo's mind as he looked back at Ness.
'He mya be young, but he has potential….' He thought to himself with a smirk as saw a brown haired boy with a similar cap taking Ness's place for a short while in his head. 'He's almost like Red in a way….'
'Some Humans said that at times they considered Pidgeys of a feather….' Mewtwo continued in his mind as Ness was smiling back to him, A warm feeling filling his usually empty heart, What the humans called compassion for others.
'Maybe that's an example of this right here even with we're are different species…'

Smash Mansion, Basement floor, ?
"Hey Ganony, Are you sure you know what we're doing?" Bowser snarled back to Ganondorf whom was already charging a fist of Dark Magic at the Metal door ahead of them, "Cause as much as that Play upstairs is making me look like a doofus in front of the others, I wondered if that's that strange power you're talking about lately…."
"If you could shut up for at least a single minute, We'll soon be having it in our possession you scale boned fool…." Ganondorf said back to Bowser whom simply smirked back to him.
"Sure whatever….." he answered back to him before giving him another glare, "But it better work!"
The Great King of Evil simply said nothing as he slammed his fist of dark magic onto the door he and Bowser are looking at.
The Door was soon shattered like a glass door as it's tiny shards was what remained of it.
"Not bad buddy," Bowser sneered back to Ganondorf as he placed his claw on his shoulder. "You got to teach me that move soon…."
"Mario won't know what hit him if you teach me that tr-"
"If you have any common sense you blundering fool, Get your hands off me NOW!" Ganondorf said back to the Koopa King with a glare as the latter backed away.
"Oh ok….." He answered back to him, no doubt aware of his new Friend's (to him that is,) behavior when his mad. "So what is it that we're are looking for?"
"*Heh* Why not see for yourself?" Ganondorf simply answered back to him as Bowser's repletion eyes soon saw the prize the two kings are after,
Located in the room locked behind the metal Door and protected by a glass dome and several security lasers and robots, Was a strange orb emitting a purple aura with red eyes in it,
"Ok that's cool, So what's the deal with that thing?" Bowser questioned his new 'friend' with some puzzled eyes and tone. "Some sort of crystal ball with purple fog and eyes in it?"
"Cause it's doesn't look it will help with kidnapping Peach or that Zelda lady that Slient-Pan been s-"
"Wrong Bowser, This Power is what those Foolish Hand Gods tried to keep from us…" Ganondorf said back to Bowser as a dark grin formed on his face when he returned his focus to the orb.
"A Power that will soon be ours to control!"

*Forgive me for the wrong Music terms but I hope that's what it is….. (And Yes, the mix of Kirby's and Jigglypuff's music is a mixed bag in the Mansion.
**Headcanon Mewtwo likes to listen to Music just to not let his destructive side loose (He hates Punk, Rock and Roll and Heavy Metal Music however)
Author's Note:
Yeah, This is Mewtwo's character in the Deluxe-Verse, A Loner he is… But he can show his gentle side to a fellow Psychic (And eventually an orange dinosaur during the WOL-DX Saga)
Also he's line regarding humans wanting to become Pokémon, Anybody whom been on the internet may now TOO well what he means... (And yes, It may be something that occured in the Poke-verse every now and then given the amount of TF art about Pokémon out there with a certain Live action movie showing it may be the case...) (Also he's not the Mewtwo form Detective Pikachu but more like the Mewtwo form the Pokemon Adventures Manga)
Ness made his return in this chapter and he helps Mewtwo opened up it a bit, Yeah, another headcanon is that he and Lucas are one of the few humans Mewtwo is considered friends with. (And yes, Mewtwo's Mega stone is the Mewtwonite Y stone)
Sorry for the short chapter but I guess this is more a traditional short story then say the previous chapter (And yes, Pikachu Helped made the play in both short stories btw, He (And by extension Libre and Pichu) Are form Hoeen with their Trainer Wendy Williams being a Contest manager, So he knows how an Entrainment event like a Play works.
The scene with Bowser and Ganondorf? That leads to the Giga Bowser Crisis during the Melee tournament… (No story planned for it however…. But it will be brought up in the Giga Factor (another WOL-DX one shot), It's also connected to Dharkon and Tabuu as well (The Latter being the Former's creation in this series)
And Bowser's showing his inner Pete with Ganondorf, (And yes, he does consider him his friend in the Deluxe-Verse… before the latter shot him in the back with a subspace arrow) Yeah, Bowser's more like Pete then Maleficent truth be told... but the Kingdom Hearts the Nintendo Version story written by KingdomKey23 is still a great story, Check it out when you get the chance! it won't dissapoint! Especially it's ongoing remake! ;)
