Athena saw the eight-year-old when his papa put him down to the ground. Her only thought was oh my god he looks exactly like Shiryu did at that age. She wasn't wrong in her inspection of him since his long hair was tied in a low ponytail making it bush out at the bottom. Also, you could see the muscles on his body that didn't look out of place on his form. The only difference was the bright green eyes along with the lightning bolt scar on his right side of his forehead.

Pope Shion was also looking at the small boy. He noticed exactly what Dohko said about the boy's cosmos. He wondered if it was the dragon armor or if the boy was a clone of Shiryu. The boy held himself like Shiryu was known to do when he was younger. He may have not been alive when Shiryu was a boy but after talking to Dohko and seeing the pictures of when he was younger helped in understanding the young man. It still bugged him that he couldn't explain the carbon copy of the boy cosmos. Even Saga and Kanon had no idea how it could have happened. Kanon had told him that the sea dragon cloth didn't give a care about the cosmos level of his wearer. Whereas the Dragon cloth only had one owner and his cosmos level was out of everyone's league except for maybe Ikki's.

Shiryu, Dohko, and Mushu bowed in respect as Athena gave them the okay to raise. Athena said, "Shiryu it's so good to see you again. I was getting afraid that you might not be living since you never contact us. Your brothers miss you and so do I. I know that we didn't get along when we were children and teens, but I thought that all changed after we defeated Saga."

Shiryu blushed and said, "Sorry Sasori-san. I didn't mean to drop off the face of the Earth. I just get busy and forget that there are people out there who care about my wellbeing. Plus, Shunrei, Dohko, and I have been busy raising this amazing little boy."

Mushu said, "Hi my name is Dragon in training no Mushu."

Athena smiled at how the small boy did his introduction. It was charming since it came out with a shy tone that reminded her a little of Shun. The three men kept their faces neutral as to not make the boy more embarrassed.

Shino asked, "Are you two ready for this challenge?"

Shiryu looked up from stretching to give a nod that he was ready. Dohko just nodded as he quietly asked, "Athena, do you mind if Mushu sits with you and Pope Shino. He doesn't know anyone and only briefly met Shina and Mu. I would be more comfortable if he stayed with you two for this."

Athena smiled and nodded as she got up and followed Pope Shino to the top of the colosseum.

Shiryu and Dohko had gone towards the door that would lead them to the ground level. Shiryu was nervous about this fight. He had many sparring matches against his master, and he knew that he could hold his own, but he felt like this battle was going to be more intense. Dohko knew that Shiryu was worried about becoming a gold knight and the responsibilities that came with it. He also knew that Shiryu was more than ready and he was ready to retire. He wanted to retire back when Shiryu had helped destroy Hades; but then it would have left no one as Dragon and Dohko wanted Shiryu to be able to fully accept being the Libra knight. So, he decided to stay as the Libra knight until Shiryu was fully trained to take on the responsibilities and had at least started training a new dragon knight.

As the two knights stepped out on the battle ground everyone else took their seats. Mushu had been told by Athena to sit next to her. The Pope had moved to make the opening speech. When he was done the battle began. Athena looked at Mushu and said, "Normally you would be sitting below me and the Pope. But since you are still young, and I know Shiryu would be worried about you; I told them that I would keep an eye on you."

Mushu nodded he knew that his papa and grandpa was always worried about him. He did well with his training but if he started to feel tired the two would atomically stop his training and bring him home to relax.

As the match started Mushu saw what his mom and grandpa meant by even though Shiryu was blind he was still a powerhouse. Shiryu was having an easy time blocking hits and throwing some hits of his own. It was like he just knew where his opponent always was. Suddenly his focus was drifted over to where he heard a very loud voice. He looked at the group. There was four of them but the one in a red outfit with what look like a Pegasus head on the band on his head. He was the one screaming for Shiryu to beat Dohko. They were sitting in front of eleven men wearing gold cloth.

Athena noticed that his attention was drawn towards the other warriors and said, "Mushu, you will meet them later. Shiryu had to get here quickly to have the match to keep the promise that Dohko and he had made to be able to train you. Those people are Shiryu's brothers and the one in gold are Shiryu's friends and Dohko's comrades."

Mushu nodded as he tried to focus back on the battle with his papa and grandpa. The two men had told him to watch the match to help him see where he could improve on his fighting talents.

Shiryu and Dohko got into position while they waited for the Pope to start the match when it was given Shiryu knew he was in the position to make the first move. Deciding to not since he always hated to make the first move, he stayed in that position. Dohko knew that if Shiryu put his mind to it he wouldn't move all day. Dohko decided to start the match as he went to punch Shiryu who nimbly dodged and went to counterattack his master. As the match picked up Shiryu could hear his younger brother and leader of his group screaming at him to beat Dohko. Shiryu decided to block him out while he focused on his master's cosmos. He knew that someone's cosmos level always spikes right before one of their special attacks was used.

He decided that he couldn't give his master the time to use his cosmos and decided it was better to go on the offensive instead of the defensive. He had to start attacking and keep his master moving. As the battle intensified Dohko knew that Shiryu was holding back and sighed he knew that he had to get Shiryu to fight for real. Dohko was able to get enough distance from his student and made the hand movements and said, "Rozan Sho Ryu Ha."

Shiryu heard and felt the cosmos rise and thought shit as he prepared the same attack. He had hoped that by using the same attack would cancel each other out. As the attacks hit each other it sent a power wave that sent both Dohko and Shiryu into separate walls. Shiryu at least felt what was about to happen and prepared himself for impact. Dohko had no forewarning and got knocked out when he impacted.

The Pope had to wait until the debris had disappeared in the air to find out the winner. He investigated the audience and noticed some of the knights were trying to get back up and into their seats. The power wave had knocked everyone that was below him, Athena, and Mushu off their seats and onto the ground. They were only safe because they were at the very top where the wave didn't have any effect thankfully. Mushu was just staring at the ring in shock and disbelief. He knew that his papa and grandpa were powerful but that was over the top. He never knew that they carried that much power in them. Athena saw the look of Mushu's face and said, "Mushu, that isn't even their full power,"

Mushu replied, "No way."

As the debris finally cleared and Shiryu was now on the move to his master to make sure he was okay. The Pope said, "Dragon no Shiryu, you have shown bravery and fought hard against Libra no Dohko. As the Pope and with Athena's agreement I would like to congratulate you and be the first to welcome you as the new Libra no Shiryu. Please let Dohko know when he wakes up that he is able to retire once and for all."

Shiryu nodded as he picked up his master to get him to the hospital wing and get checked over himself. He knew that he had a few bruises and scratches from the attacks. The doctor had just told Shiryu that Dohko would be fine when Mushu and Athena walked in. Shiryu smiled as he felt the cosmos of his son and goddess. Mushu noticed his papa was standing in front of him and the damn broke as he crushed his papa with his arms around him. Shiryu sat on the floor reassuring his son that everyone was fine.

Athena said, "Shiryu, why don't you go and introduce your son to your brothers and the other gold knights. I will pass the pope's message to Dohko if he wakes up before you come back."

Shiryu replied, "As you wish Athena. Though I know you won't let me escape anything they had planned now would you."

Athena laughed and said, "You know I wouldn't let you escape that easily. Plus, your son should get to meet his uncles. They don't even know about him, do they Shiryu."

Mushu replied, "Wait Athena you meant blood brothers and not brothers at arms."

Shiryu sighed but replied, "Mushu, I have nine brothers that are still alive. Out of the 99 brothers I once had. I only have four that I am close to. The four that were screaming my name and telling me to beat Dohko were the four that I am close to. They are also my comrades or as you call them my brother's in arms. Athena is right thou you do need to meet them. I kept you secrete long enough."

As the two walked down the hallway Mushu was really worried about his grandpa and asked, "Papa, will grandpa Dohko really be okay?"

Shiryu quickly replied, "Of course he will be okay Mushu. He may be old, but he is strong and healthy. The power wave was just too strong and neither one of us realized that the moves would cause that strong of a wave. I sensed it and embraced impact while Dohko went unaware and got knocked out. Were sure he has a concussion. Nothing too serious he'll be up and running in no time."

Mushu felt better then asked, "How will we find my uncles, Athena didn't tell us where they would be meeting us?"

Shiryu smirked and said, "I would normally just use the cosmos to find them, but I know that they would be waiting for us at the Libra temple. Don't worry I already figured out that they would want to celebrate there if I won or loss."

Mushu nodded as the father son duo walked down the steps to where the libra temple was.

Once they got there Shiryu noticed that they were already celebrating. He just sighed as he walked in since he really didn't want to deal with the whole, I miss you, routine. Okay he might have been the reason behind the routine since he was the one who didn't stay in contact. Ikki was the first one to see him and he turned down the music. Once the music was turned down everyone stopped and looked at Ikki. Ikki just said, "Congratulations Shiryu on becoming the Libra knight."

Everyone echoed Ikki as Shiryu replied, "Thanks everyone I appreciate it. I have announcement of my own. I would like you all to meet your nephew Mushu. I found him in the woods three years ago. Shunrei and I have legally adopted him. Dohko and I have been training him to be the next dragon knight."

Kiki was looking at the young boy and knew what it was like to be a child around full-grown adult. He smiled and said, "Nice to meet you Mushu."

Mushu smiled as the two decided to go off and talk. Ikki just turned the music back up as the party got away.

Shiryu was just standing by the wall not really into the whole party theme. He knew that it was Seiya's idea. Seiya liked the idea of a party for anyone's achievements or just any reason to party. Shun came up to him and said, "Shiryu why didn't you ever tell us you had a son?"

Shiryu looked as Shun and said, "Hate to tell you, but I kind of forgot to let you all know that Mushu existed. We told Pope Shion and Athena when Mushu decided he wanted to be a knight and I thought I informed you guys."

Shun nodded and said, "You know now that we know of him, you're not going to be able to lose communications with us again we will want monthly updates, or we just might go to Athena and make it will she forces you to stay here for the rest of his training."

Shiryu replied, "Or to make it easier on me since I'm the one with the disability you guys could have always came and visit me."

Mushu and Kiki were outside talking will more like Kiki was telling Mushu how Shiryu was when he saw him as a teenager. Mushu didn't care he loved his papa and knew most of what the boy was telling him seeing as his Grandpa Dohko told him more embarrassing stories about his papa. Mushu decided that he wanted to learn more about his uncles and said, "Kiki I'm going to go in I want to meet my uncles and my papa other friends."

Kiki nodded as the duo walked back inside together. Kiki bound over to the other gold knights who were all talking about some of the battles they participated in. While Mushu decided to just walk around. Since he wasn't paying attention to were, he was going he bumped into Seiya.

Seiya was walking around talking here and there when he suddenly felt something hit him. He looked down to noticed that it was the child that came in with Shiryu. He bent down to the boys' level and said, "Hey little one, I'm your Uncle Seiya. Why don't I help you out and introduce you to everyone? We're one big family around here even if only a few of us are blood related."

Mushu just nodded as Seiya introduced him to everyone. Out of everyone that he just met he was getting close to Camus of Aquarius and Shura of Capricorn. The two took it upon themselves to teach Mushu the stages and differences of each knight. Shura even told him that if he could win the Dragon cloth, he would teach him a secrete move that he taught Shiryu.

Back at the hospital wing Athena was still watching Dohko. She was happy for Shiryu and so would Dohko be when he found out. Just as the last thought crossed her mind, she noticed Dohko stirring. When he woke up, he said, "Where am I, who won?"

Athena laughed and said, "Dohko, you're in the hospital wing. The last move that both you and Shiryu did made a power wave that knocked you both into a wall and everyone else out of their seats. Thou you will be proud to know that you can finally retired as Shiryu won the Libra cloth."

Dohko smiled and said, "About time Shiryu took on the responsibilities. Now I can relax and be a grandpa to Mushu and help Shiryu train that boy to his max. Shiryu isn't going to be happy with the Dragon cloth being in that waterfall for so long. Then again Mushu is just like his father soaks everything up like a sponge. I wouldn't put it past him to win the Dragon cloth earlier than his father did. I swear there are days were I'm not sure that Mushu is a clone of Shiryu."

Athena replied, "I think that the cosmos or the cloth is at fault for that. Only Shiryu knows the secretes of the dragon cloth and he isn't talking. I have been thinking about it since you told us of Mushu and if what we suspect is true then like my knights had a difficult destiny then so does this boy. If that's true, then training him was the right thing to do. We don't know anything about him, but he is intelligent beyond his years. The training may one day save his life even if he fails to get the cloth."

Dohko replied, "Trust me that kid will get the Dragon cloth he is close. Shiryu tries to teach the kid everything and I must steer him back on track for Mushu's age. Shiryu sometimes forgets that he was older when he started training. Though it might be for the best to let Shiryu train him a little harder."
