Hello everyone! This is a belated happy birthday gift for our dear Misty di i.e. Droplets of Blue Rain. I am really really sorry for being so late. I had my exam on the next day and had some projects to complete. As my exams are finally over, i am posting this two-shot. Hope you will forgive me Misty di.
This fic has nothing to do with the original beyblade series. It is settled in an alternate universe.

Julia Fernandez was sitting in a cafe with her boyfriend's best friend, Kai Hiwatari, the CEO of Hiwatari Enterprises. She wanted his advice for Tala's birthday gift. She was scrolling the screen of her phone when Kai spoke, 'Who is she?'
Julia looked up to see Kai leaning in to get a good look of her best friend's dp.
'Why do you ask?' she asked him.
'She is so beautiful and mesmerizing!'
Julia was really shocked to hear this coming from the great Kai Hiwatari's mouth as he had always rejected every girl Tala tried to hook him with. She looked back at the photo and smiled, 'She is my best friend. Hilary Tachibana, want her number?' she smirked as Kai blushed. But then she continued to speak with a fake apologizing look, 'Too bad, she isn't interested in dating. I have tried to change her mind but she doesn't listens.'
'Oh... So, can I talk to her? I mean we can be friends first?' he asked while rubbing the back of his head.
'Why are you so interested in her? I don't think she is your type. Sure she is cute, hardworking and beautiful but she is lazy!! too lazy.' she tried to foul his mood.
'Don't talk about her like that. I don't care if she is lazy, i will do everything for her.' he said with a determined look.
Julia gulped, he was really serious about him and Hilary. He asked her, 'So, have you ever talked about me infront of her? I mean she is your best friend, that means you share everything with her..' he asked with hope visible in his eyes.
'Huh, Why would i talk about you to her, I only talk about my Tala. How he is so sweet, cute, caring, loving...' she said with dreamy eyes.
'Hey! give me her number.' he asked while searching something on his phone.
'No way, last time i gave a guy her number, she not only changed her contact details but refused to talk to me for a whole week. I am not taking any risk!' she said with fear.
'Please.'
'Woh!!! did you just said please! where is my recorder!!!'
'Go to hell. I already found her instagram id, i don't need your help. And luckily she has a public account.' he said smiling at the brunette's photos.
It's the end of this world, Kai Hiwatari was drooling over a girl. He was making efforts to reach a girl he had never even talked to before. What will Tala think about it? And what would Hilary do? These were the thoughts that came to her mind as Kai zoomed the brunette's photo to have a good look at her smile and when he did that, his lips involuntary curled upwards to give a faint smile.
'I will tell her about you but what will you do if she rejects you? or blocks you on social networking sites?'
'If she rejects me, I will not give up on my love for her. I will try my best to make her happy but if she finds happiness in someone else then I would give up. And talking about the pics, I already took screenshots of all of her posts.' he said while grinning.
Julia shivered at this. Kai was acting as a love-sick puppy and she was not sure if Hilary would like or love him or not. She didn't wanted his heart to break as she had never seen him so happy before, not even in Tala's company. She sighed and said that she should go now. With that both of them left the cafe with a change, the lone wolf became an extremely love-sick puppy.
Hilary Tachibana was sitting in the park. She was really tired after all her appointments with her patients. Just then she saw a tall, handsome man of her age moving towards the famous Chinese restaurant in front of the park. Her heartbeat skipped. She had never felt this strange sensation ever before. She admired his body features but frowned after looking at his eyes. Just then her phone rang, it was Julia's call. She answered the call.
'Hey Jules!'
'Hi Hils! Wherever you are, come to my house, I have something important to talk about.'
'What important? Did something happen, are you alright?'
'I am alright. Nothing serious happen. I was just missing you a lot.'
'Okay. I will be there in 10 minutes. Bye.'
'Bye.'
With that, the call ended. When she looked back to see if the man was still there, she was disappointed to find no one standing over there.
'Ummm, so what important thing do you want to tell me?' Hilary asked while sipping her coffee.
'First you tell me what happened? it's like your body is here but your mind is somewhere else.' Julia asked her brunette friend.
'Both my mind and heart are somewhere else. Actually I...saw a man near the park, he was so handsome and cute. I like him, I mean I really really like him.' Hilary explained while extending her hands like a kid to show how much she liked the man.
How will i explain this to Kai? Poor Kai. Maybe he and Hilary were not meant for each other... Julia thought.
'So, how did he looked and tell me more about him.' she asked her friend.
'Oh, so he was tall and handsome and cute. He had two-toned hair, blue and slate. Then he had the most beautiful crimson coloured eyes that i have ever seen in my life. He wore a business suit but'
Julia was shocked as Hilary told her about the man. These features of that man, they match Kai's physical feature! but when did he became cute???!! only a lover could call her sourpuss lover cute...
'Ouch! why did you hit me Hils??'
'Because you weren't listening to me.' she pouted angrily.
'Oh I was listening. But why do you look sad?'
'I don't think he is interested in a relationship. I think he is single but I am not sure if I could cross the wall he had created. His eyes were so serious.' she said sadly while looking out of the window.
No worry! You are the only one who could break that wall surrounding his heart. I think I should confirm if she is really talking about Kai or not.
'I will just come in two minutes.'
She then came out of her room with a business magazine in her hand and showed it to Hilary.
'It's him!!!!!!' Hilary squealed in happiness as she looked at the front page of the magazine. Julia smiled at her.
'He is Kai Hiwatari, CEO of Hiwatari Enterprises. And don't worry I know your love will succeed.' she gave a thumbs up to the brunette.
'Can I take this?' Hilary asked while hugging the magazine.
'Sure and don't forget to check his social media profiles, I have checked before, he had posted six or seven pics.'
'Oh yeah! I have to take the screenshots of his pics, what if he blocked me? Sure, I could find his photos on the web but it won't satisfy me. I have to hurry.'
Julia sweatdropped as her best friend panicked. They two are so different from each other but are the same when it comes to love. I have to talk to Tala.
Tala knocked at Kai's door. Why isn't he saying anything? not even a hn.. He opened the door and found Kai doing something on his laptop, his back facing him. He walked toward his friend and tried to see what he was doing.
'Hilary!!!!!!?'
'Hnn, Hilary.' Kai said lovingly.
There on his laptop was the photo of none other than Hilary who wore a pink dress, hair in a mermaid braid and a red rose in her hands smiling towards the camera.
'Ummm, you like her...?'
'No, I love her. What do you call it?...love at first sight.' he said smiling at the brunette's photo.
'She is not your type. And the only things she loves is her job, eating and sleeping, Julia and her parents too.' Tala said as he sat on his bed.
'One day she will love me.' Kai said.
'And that day is today!!!!!!'
'Julia!' Tala said hugging his girlfriend.
'Have you two ever heard the word knock?' Kai questioned the lovers mockingly.
'Hey! I knocked the door before entering but you were too busy.' Tala said defensively.
'Why don't you treat us with respect Kai? I came here to tell you something about Hilary but i don't think you need our help. Come on honey, let's go.' she said while grabbing her boyfriend's arm.
'Hey wait! ITakeMyWordsBack!!!!'
'What?'
'I said I.Take.My.Words.Back. Why did you said that day was today? and what do you want to tell about Hilary?' he asked her.
'Tell me, were you anywhere near the Ray Kon's famous chinese restaurant?'
'Yes, why do you ask?'
'Hilary saw you.'
'WHAT????!!!'
'Yep. She found you handsome and cute and'
'CUTE!!!!! I am telling you she needs to see a psychiatrist.' Tala said.
'Don't you dare say anything about her.' Julia and Kai said together while glaring at the red-head.
'So what was i saying? yeah, she said you are handsome and cute and she is so in love with you that I can't tell you. Hey! what happened? why are you so quiet? Aren't you happy?'
'He is shocked Jules. I don't think he can even stand in front of her. Coward.'
'Shut your mouth Valkov!'
'Oh please Kai, we know that you are a coward when it comes to love and confessing your feelings.'
'You better shut yo'
'Shut up you two!!! and Kai I haven't told her that you are Tala's best friend.'
'Good. Because I am not his best friend.'
'As if I would want to have sourpuss as my best friend.' Tala muttered under his breathe.
'Sorry.' Kai said.
Tala gulped and shivered after hearing that word from his friend. Julia giggled at this. 'Kai, you are coming with us. We are going to Hilary's house.'
'Now!!! let me get ready first. Out you two.'
'We are not going to ask her hand for marriage.'
'Let him get ready Tala baby. Kai, we will wait in the car.'
With that they left Kai in his room. Which colour shirt will she like...?
