I don't own anything, sadly.
I am a bit of a Gibbs/Fornell fan and they do act like an old married couple and I just wanted to write some fluff.
It was unexpected but at the same time, overdue.
Gibbs pulled away. "I told you that you were my best friend," he told the FBI agent.
"Well, you never told me that I had competition for your affections", Fornell told him, sternly. "If you opened up once in a while...".
"You were married to my ex-wife , and you're shocked that I don't open up about my feelings?", Gibbs quipped.
Fornell looked at him. "Do you feel the way about me that you do about her?"
Gibbs shot him a look. "I like you", he replied, smiling.
"That's not funny", Fornell told him. "I am feeling very insecure and I want you, I need you, to tell me that you don't want to be with anyone else".
Gibbs looked into his eyes, "I like you more than anyone", he told the FBI agent, as he pulled him in for another kiss.
