'We had a dream.' Ginny whispered. 'The two of us had the exact same dream.'

'Things have got a lot more interesting now!' Sirius jested.

Chapter 29 – Family

'I agree.' Dumbledore said. 'How about you tell us about this dream?'

'No!' Harry was incisive. 'It's too personal.'

The old man raised an eyebrow. 'Do you think the same, Ginny?'

She nodded.

'You don't have to tell us about it, maybe we can watch your memories…'

'Better not.'

'Harry, this dream could have hidden meanings that we could help you to interpreter it.'

'There's nothing to interpreter, we know its meaning!'

'Ginny! Show a bit more of respect!' Molly scolded.

'Sorry, Professor,' Ginny looked down, 'but we are not going to talk about it.'

'Then, it's settled down.' Sirius joyfully said. 'Poppy, how about you let my godson and his adorable little redhead see the daylight? We have a lot of chitchat to catch up on and a wonderful summer to enjoy. I don't see any reason to keep them locked up here.'

'Well, I…. I guess it's alright.' She agreed. 'This is very unusual, but they seem healthy. However, I'd suggest regular check-ups.'

'I'll personally take care of it.' Andromeda promised.

'Excellent! Arthur, Molly, I'd like to discuss a few things in particular with you later.'

Arthur nodded. 'Of course, Sirius.'

Harry and Ginny were relieved for finally leaving the Hospital Wing. They were beginning to feel a lit bit claustrophobic with so many people interested on what they felt it was a very personal topic. They still had a lot to discuss about it, but it was only their business.

Harry got out of the bed. He really felt well and it was good to walk again. He aided Ginny and held her hand. He still wasn't fond of the idea of being separated from her.

'Where are we going?' Ginny asked.

'To the Gryffindor Tower. Everyone's there.' Ron replied.

'Then, let's go!'

The grownups were still whispering about something, but, honestly, Harry couldn't care less. He just wanted to get out of there. The three children walked in silence towards the Gryffindor Tower. Harry and Ginny kept holding hands and Ron looked a bit uncomfortable. From time to time, he would glance at them. After a while, Harry noticed and chose to get over it.

'What's it bugging you, mate?'

'Huh? Nothing!' Ron replied, turning red.

'C'mon, you can tell us.'

'Nothing… It's just weird… You know… The two of you and all that...'

'It's strange for us too, Ron.' Ginny tried to help. 'But you don't need to feel awkward, nothing will change. Harry still is your friend and I'm still your sister.'

'Yeah, but now you are an odd kind of boyfriend and girlfriend…'

'Is that the problem?' Harry humorously asked. 'You're a smart guy, I'm sure you knew sooner or later this would happen, with or without the soul-bond. But Ginny is not my girlfriend… yet.'

'She isn't?' Ron looked at his sister to see if she agreed.

'Ron, I'm ten years old.' Ginny remembered him.

'But you're holding hands…'

'I know it's weird.' Harry tried to explain. 'It's actually very confusing. We don't know for sure what's happening and that's why nothing will change. I like Ginny and she likes me, nothing will change that, but we still are ourselves.'

'How can you be so sure she likes you too?'

'Because it's true.' The girl affirmed. 'Besides, Harry knows what I feel and I also know what he feels.'

Ron was dumbfounded.

'You noticed too?' Harry asked her and she nodded.

'You can read each other's mind?' Ron was still shocked.

'Not exactly… I guess I feel her emotions and have a small idea about what she's thinking about. Is it that way to you?'

'Yup. Do you think we could read each other's mind if we tried to?'

'I don't know, but we can try it later.'

'You, guys, are talking about reading minds and you don't want me to find it weird…'

'Reading minds was your idea…' She joked. 'And you'll have to get used to strange things.'

'We all have to get used.' Harry corrected her.

'That's true.'

When they arrived at the Gryffindor Tower, Ron pointed to the boys' stairs and told them that Ginny's things were at their dormitory.

'The girls' side is empty and mum didn't want Ginny to be alone in there.'

Later, after a deserved shower and a delicious meal, Harry was feeling satisfied and sleepy. However, when Sirius told him they needed to speak with Ginny and her parents, he quickly forgot about his somnolence.

Harry needed to admit to himself that he feared someone would try to take Ginny away from him. He noticed that Mrs Weasley didn't look very happy with their closeness.

The five of them went to Harry's dorm, where they could talk in privacy and away from the noise caused by the twins' antics. Sirius cast the Imperturbable Charm on the door and then sat on Neville's bed. Mr and Mrs Weasley chose Ron's bed, while Harry and Ginny sat on his, holding hands. They had noticed how hard it was to be around the other without physical contact. It was almost like there was a kind of a magnetic force attracting them all the time. It wasn't easy to control themselves.

'Arthur and I talked earlier and we agree that the best way to go through this unusual situation is to trust the both of you and to let you trust us too.' Sirius explained. 'We don't want you to think that you can't count on your family when you need it.'

Harry looked at Sirius with attention. They hadn't talked about the future yet, but if he correctly understood, Sirius had good ideas on his mind.

As if he had read his godson thoughts, Sirius said, 'Harry, I know we hadn't had a chance yet to talk, but I want you to understand something. Your dad was like a brother to me and I loved his family more than my own. I'd never betrayed your parents' trust and that means I'll never betray you. I get it if you can't trust me yet –

'I trust you. You don't have to explain. I knew you were innocent and that my parents trusted you with their lives. I was trying to find a way to prove it before all this happened.'

'Ron told me about it. Despite everything that rat was more treacherous than you'd believe.'

Harry agreed with Sirius.

'I made the same mistake. Fortunately, he didn't expect you to be so powerful at this age. Your spell left him unconscious for hours, or so I was told… Lily must be so proud.'

'I'm not that strong. I was just angry, because he had hurt Ginny.'

'Modest like your mother.' Sirius laughed. 'Do you know that I am your legal guardian?'

'Yes, I've a copy of my parent's will.'

'I'd like you to come live with me, Harry. But I won't force you, if you don't want to.'

'I'd like that.' That was Harry's simply answer. He wouldn't have to see the Dursleys ever again.

Ginny squeezed his hand in contentment. Despite his discreet reaction, she knew how happy and relieved he was feeling.

'I'm glad.' Sirius smiled. 'Now, let's talk about the two of you.'

The children looked at each other.

'What do you want to know?' Ginny asked.

'We want you to be honest with us, my dear.' Arthur told her. 'We're your parents and we'll love no matter what, but we can only help you if we know what's happening.'

Ginny faced her mother, who was oddly quiet.

'Your father is right.' She said. 'I won't pretend that I'm comfortable with this situation, but I promise you I'll listen and try to understand.'

Ginny looked at Harry, wondering about what they should do.

'They're right.' Harry said.

Ginny nodded and took a deep breath. It was time to discuss everything.

A/N.: Hello! It's been a long time since last time. I've had this chapter for a long time and forgot to post it after I noticed that the original story is no longer available. So this is the last chapter I'll post.

The little I have from Chapter 30 - The Talk:

'I think Bill's right.' Ginny said. 'Harry really is my soul-mate.'

'Why do you think that, dear?' Molly wanted to know.

'Because our dream wasn't a normal one, it felt real. And when I woke up from the dream, I felt different… because now I remember… I know everything she knew.'

Harry stared at her. 'I feel like that too. It's hard to explain, but a part of him is now inside me.'

'Who are talking about?' Arthur asked.

'In the dream, we were different from what we are now.'

The original story wasn't finished yet and had a lot more chapters than this one. Things between Harry and Ginny develop fast and in a grandiose way... Their soul-bond is not something new, their souls are very ancient and everytime they try to find each other (the souls). During the summer they discovered this and they remember a bit of their pasts. They found Potter Manor and they passed their summer there (with some opposition from Molly). The last chapters from the story took place in the beginning of their second year (or close to it), and by then we already knew who had Tom's diary, Hermione.

I wish you all a great 2017!
