—-Chapter 4—

Shoto silently thanked god that everyone was distracted by a holiday movie when the two of them entered the room. Christmas was coming up in a few weeks, and he already dreaded going back home. He walked to the kitchen, never letting go of Izuku, and grabbed two bowls from the cabinet. Izuku look extremely thin, so Shoto made sure to give him an extra large portion.

"Oi icyhot! Who's the nerd?" Bakugo leaned against the kitchen sink and smirked. An annoying habit of his really.

"His name is Izuku!" Todoroki snapped not even bothering to turn towards him. Midoriya glanced over his shoulder to stare at the aggressive boy. Bakugo recognized those huge green eyes immediately. Even through the torture they had seen, Katsuki could never forget they way those emeralds used to look at him like he was a hero.

"Deku?!" The blond grabbed Izuku's arms aggressively. Tears pricked in the back of his eyes and his voice cracked.

"I thought you died! God everyone thought you were a g.." Midoriya pushed him away and Katsuki hit the wall hard, leaving an indent. Blood dropped from his most likely broken nose. By this point everyone's eyes were on him. He wrapped his arms around himself, afraid of his own strength. It was a reminder of all that he hated about himself. 'Deku?' He recognized the name, but he had no clue who it belonged to or how this boy knew him.

"I-I'm sorry." He stared down at the floor again and stepped back, attempting to put distance between him and all of their penetrating gazes. It was all too much for the broken boy. Being grabbed so violently only reminded him of being powerless, powerless against them.

"Seriously Bakugo!" Todoroki growled. Ice frosted his left side.

"I don't know what the hell is going on here, but no one has seen you in 9 god damn years!" He spat out his words and swiped at the blood gushing from his nose. Tears started to flow down his face.

"I-I-I..." Izuku fell to the floor and gripped at his hair. Everything seemed to be moving too fast. The noises were all too loud and violent. When he closed his eyes he was back there. The screams and shouts of other prisoners. The iron smell of blood. The needles and electric experiments that left is inside and outside permanently scared. Voices seemed to swirl in his head.

'You monster!'

'Damn nerd!'

'You will never be safe!'

'You are worthless!'

'Midoriya!'

"Midoriya!" Someone rested a hand on his shoulder and he froze. Aizawa stared into the boys green eyes, wide with fear. He hadn't even noticed his new teacher come in, in fact he had no clue how long he had zoned out.

"Come on, lets get you out of here." He sighed, helping him to his feet and the two of them walked out of the dorm building.

"What the hell is going on dude?!" Kirishima came into the room and handed his boyfriend a towel to mop up his bloody nose.

"Yeah Bakugo, how do you know him?" Uraraka joined them in the kitchen.

"And what's up with all the missing/dead shit?" Kaminari piped up from the couches.

"That damn nerd!" Katsuki pushed away from everyone.

"Come to think of it, the name Midoriya sounds very familiar."

"What do you mean?!" Shoto shot Kaminari an icy glare.

"I-I'm just saying I think I heard the name on the news a few years back." He raised his hands in defense.

"Something about villains and kidnapping if I remember right."

"I suggest everyone finish their dinner and retire to their rooms. I think there has been enough excitement for today." Iida walked out of the room and slowly everyone followed his advice.

Once in his room alone, Midoriya had yet to return, Shoto pulled out his laptop and pulled up the search engine. He typed Midoriya Izuku into the search bar. His heart stopped at the first article that came up.

Midoriya Izuku, One of Five Missing Children, Thought to be Rescued From the League of Villains; What Happened to the Other Four?
