Hi everyone,
I will soon be migrating all of my stories to ao3, but I will still post updates to incomplete stories. I will use the exact same pen name there, so you'll be able to find me, but I will no longer be posting new stories here. I hope that many of you will follow me there, as I've loved having you all as my readers for the past (nearly) 9 years.

xoxo,

After everyone left, Koga invited Kagome to shower with him.

"You feel better now, babygirl?"

"Mhm. I feel like things are truly over now."

"They are, baby. As long as you never have any contact with Inuyasha again."

"I'm more than happy to do that." She smiled. "I'm glad he's out of my life forever."

"That's what I like to hear." He grinned.

"I really am sorry...I feel awful for—"

"It's okay. I've forgiven you. I understand that you're more afraid of him than I am. I just want you to trust me a little more to protect you."

"I will. I promise."

"Let's try to relax tonight." Koga activated the rain water feature and Kagome smiled widely.

"Oh this is amazing, and the water feels so nice."

Koga placed Kagome in a corner, and knelt before her.

He placed his finger inside her, then slowly sucked her clit.

She moaned as the water pittered and pattered onto her body.

Koga didn't stop until she had an orgasm. He slowly stood and smiled, then licked his fingers.

"I'm sorry. You can finish your shower now." He smirked.

Kagome shook her head. "Mm-mm. That wouldn't be right.

She switched sides with Koga and got on her knees.

She slid her mouth down, until Koga was in her throat.

He gasped loudly, then moaned. His body warmed up immensely as Kagome continued to deep throat.

Koga had an orgasm minutes later, and filled Kagome's throat.

She slowly licked his shaft, then stood.

Koga sighed loudly. "That was amazing, babygirl. Oh, by the way, have you noticed this?"

Koga placed his hand on a diamond accent on a lower part of the marble wall. It pulled out as a seat.

"Wow! That's beautiful!"

Koga sat down. "Come, I want to fill you up."

Kagome positioned herself on Koga and he slid deep inside her.

She moaned as Koga gripped her securely and continued to stroke.

"Mmm...don't do that." He moaned as Kagome squeezed her inner muscles on him. "Fuck. That's gonna make me cum."

Kagome continued as he fucked her even faster, then came inside her.

"Baby, that felt so good." Kagome said sweetly as she washed herself.

"Yeah, you're so good to me."

The couple exited the shower, dried off, and got into bed.

"I'm not really tired."

"No? You wanna go out somewhere?"

"Let's put your ice cream maker to some use, and watch a movie! Or two." Kagome smiled.

Koga nodded. "Anything you want."

Koga and Kagome made their ice cream, and watched one movie.

"You pick the next one." Kagome requested.

"Sure." Koga shuffled through the selections, stopping abruptly as his phone rang.

"Oh, it's Klein."

"Who's that?"

"The chop shop guy that I gave my car to...hey, Klein."

"Yo, Koga. I was trying to see what I could salvage from this car. When was the last time you drove it, before the accident?"

"Uh...it's been awhile. But, I made a stop, the night of the accident, to drop something off."

"The brakes were tampered with. You didn't cause this accident."

Koga froze. "Are...you certain?"

"Yeah, 100% man. Your GPS survived, if you wanna come get it, and check your travel history."

"I'll come get it now, if that's cool."

"Hell yeah. We're having a kickback upstairs, and you're invited. Bring your lady if she's down."

"Wanna go to a party?" He turned to Kagome.

Kagome was satisfied that she got her quality date night in with Koga, so she agreed.

At the party...

Kagome connected with Klein's girlfriend, who was a gothic fashion designer with a beautiful portfolio.

As the girls got acquainted, Koga and Klein were downstairs going through his GPS travel history.

"There. That's the last place I went before the accident."

"Ah, that location is notorious for troublemakers. Lots of people have their cars tampered with in this area."

"Is that so? I guess I should look into it."

"I've been meaning to ask you...what's up with your girlfriend? Sh-she's cool and all, but her aura...what the hell is that? She's human, right?"

"She has the abilities of a priestess."

"Jeez, man. Aren't you afraid she'll kill you?"

Koga grinned. "That's what makes it more exciting."

Late that evening...

Kagome and Koga returned to his home and got ready for bed.

Kagome fell asleep almost immediately, and Koga followed soon after, only to spring up 2 hours later, sweating.

He sat on the edge of his bed, grasping his head tightly. The nightmares had returned once again. Gruesome and gory, full of graphic details he dreaded to remember.

'I...guess I'll just stay up.'

Kagome woke up at 9AM and looked around for Koga.

She found him downstairs making breakfast.

"Good morning, babygirl. How'd you sleep?"

"I slept great. I was out like a light. What about you, my love?"

"It was okay...I woke up early."

Kagome sat at the kitchen island and checked her phone.

"I have three more days to finish the wedding dress. I only need to make a slight alteration on the back, and it'll be ready to deliver."

"I'm so proud of you. It's absolutely beautiful." He smiled.

Kagome smiled back. She felt so much joy, but Koga on the other hand, was beginning to struggle once again.

That night, Kagome was exhausted from working, so she fell asleep around 10PM.

Koga laid beside her for hours, until the sun began to rise.

He let out a defeated sigh and went outside.

He let his wolves out for some exercise, and sat by the garden. He knew Kagome would wake up soon and he planned to make her breakfast again.

Koga wanted to keep Kagome entirely oblivious to what was going on. He couldn't stop thinking about how she cried for him when he told her about his past. He didn't want to see her shed any unnecessary tears. This was his burden, after all. Sleep deprivation was the least of his problems, and his nightmares weren't anything new.

The next day...

Koga's days were beginning to feel exactly the same. He was just transcending through 72 hours on 2 and a half hours of sleep, doing the same things each day.

Kagome had to deliver the wedding dress, and Koga promised to drive her to Shinjuku. He also had two meetings, and a delivery coming in later that evening.

He didn't mind. Anything to keep him busy.

After Kagome delivered the dress, Koga had taken her home.

He called her before she went to sleep, and sat on his lonely bed.

He was exhausted, but he knew trying to sleep without Kagome would be even more impossible.

She was busy, and tired, and he didn't want to bother her anymore.

He laid down, and closed his eyes, only to wake up two hours later again, after another similar, but far more graphic nightmare.

He sprang up, sweating once again, and took a shower.

He took the elevator downstairs to an old Rec room he shared with his father, and punched several holes in the wall.

His fists were covered in blood and his eyes were cold and sunken. He went to the bathroom and looked in the mirror.

If Kagome saw him like this, surely she would know something was wrong. He needed to do better.

The next day, he tried washing his face with some weird refreshing cleanser Kagome left in his bathroom, hoping it would stop him from looking like a zombie.

It didn't help at all. He looked like shit.

He heard Kagome coming upstairs and quickly splashed cold water on his heavy eyes.

He opened the door to see Kagome undressing.

"Good morning, I wanted to show you my newest lingerie design."

"You look so beautiful. So fucking beautiful." He sighed wistfully.

She laid on his bed and motioned for him to come close.

Koga was not in the mood, even in the slightest. It was simply because he was burnt out and hardly had the energy. But...He didn't want to reject Kagome. She looked so beautiful.

He sat next to her and she leaned in to kiss him, but stopped.

"Koga...what's wrong?"

"Hm?"

"You look sad."

"I'm...tired." He confessed. "I haven't slept well for days."

"Oh...is it the nightmares again?"

Koga was taken aback. How could she see right through him?

"Yeah. They're so gruesome and haunting. I...can't rest peacefully."

Kagome grasped him and held his head to her chest.

"I'm so sorry. I feel awful because I can't help."

Koga was lost in the scent coming from her body. She gave off an enticing scent whenever she was ovulating. It was awakening his natural instincts, and suddenly he had the energy for her.

"Maybe...if I fuck you hard enough...I'll get tired." He said as he opened the front clasp on her bra and sucked her right nipple.

Kagome moaned as his hand grasped her side.

"A-are you sure, babe?" She asked as he laid her down and slid her panties off.

"No. But we're gonna find out."

After nearly an hour of foreplay and rough sex, Kagome was fast asleep, but Koga was still awake.

He felt calmer, but restless nonetheless.

"Kagome...Kagome..." he softly called out to her, stroking her cheek.

She slowly opened her eyes and smiled at him.

"Babygirl. Move in with me."

Her eyes sprang open eve more. "You...want me to move in?"

"I was so lonely without you last night. I have trouble sleeping now, but it's impossible to even be at peace without you."

Her smile widened. "Okay. I'll move in with you."

Koga smiled and nuzzled into her chest, quickly falling asleep.

No nightmares, no worries. Just peaceful rest.

Finally.

That evening, Koga woke up to see Kagome sitting on the edge of the bed, FaceTiming with Sango.

"Did you order any extra?"

"I have a bit left over, you're free to come take some. It takes nearly month for this fabric to arrive, so I'll put in another order if you really like it."

"That would be great."

"I'll see you at work tomorrow!"

"Okay! Bye!"

Kagome ended their call and turned to Koga. He was staring at her, smiling.

"How was your sleep?"

"Great, finally. I told you, if I fucked you hard enough, I'd fall asleep. I was right after all."

Kagome laughed. "You needed to get the rest of your energy out."

"I have plenty more, if you want me."

She giggled. "How about dinner?"

"Or I can skip to dessert."

"No!" She grinned, pushing his hand away from her thighs. "I waited for you so we could have dinner together."

"Fine. I'll put on some pants."

"Great, then you won't distract me with your boner." She joked.

"You wouldn't be able to see it, if it was in your throat."

"Dinner first! Then dessert!" She said adamantly.

He slipped on his pants and sat close to Kagome. "How about a taste, at least?" He leaned in and they kissed passionately, nearly getting carried away as their hands explored each other's bodies.

Kagome pulled away, but Koga insisted and kissed her neck.

A moan escaped her lips and Koga laid her down, then placed his face underneath her skirt.

Kagome had a quick orgasm, then scowled at Koga.

"I thought we said dinner first?"

He smirked and kissed her. "No, babygirl. That's what you said. Then, you gave me some dessert."

"I couldn't help it!" She pouted. "You're very convincing."

"Could I convince you to let me slide inside you?"

"Not that convincing!"

The couple went downstairs and cooked dinner together.

"Do you really want me to move in? I'm only asking again because you were really...sleep deprived when you said it." She laughed nervously.

"Of course I do. You could've moved in when we were just friends and I would've been happy. I never wanna be apart from you."

"I feel the same way." She said with a blush kissed face. "I want to always be by your side."

Koga placed his knife on the cutting board and grasped Kagome's chin. "I'll never get tired of seeing you blush like this. It's so cute, it drives me crazy."

Kagome's blush deepened and she smiled.

"Can I tell you something?"

Kagome nodded.

"You're...the prettiest girl I've ever seen. I never even did a double take when I'd see a mortal woman, but...you...you're so gorgeous."

Kagome's face reddened so much, she tried to turn away, but Koga turned her gaze towards him once more. "Do you believe me?"

Kagome nodded. "I'm just..."

"Not used to it?" He chuckled, as he leaned over and stirred a pot behind her. "That's too bad. You'll need to get used to it."

The couple sat at the table and ate silently. Kagome would occasionally look up at Koga, and blush whenever he would meet her glances and smile or wink.

"Babygirl, I'm trying to eat, and you're just giving me a hard on." He smirked.

Kagome tucked her lips in, hiding a bashful smile as she looked down.

"I know we haven't been dating very long but, I'm just falling more in love with you."

"Really?"

Koga nodded. "We've bonded since we met, so I feel like I know you so well. I'm fucking crazy about you."

After dinner, Kagome helped Koga clean up, and they sat at the kitchen island drinking wine.

"It's time for dessert now, right?"

"You ate your dessert before dinner!"

"Well, I have a big appetite."

Koga convinced Kagome to let him plow into her in the kitchen. Her moans and screams echoed through the house, and he loved it. He loved her and never planned to let go.

He carried her to bed and stayed up for awhile longer.

'Honestly, everything is happening so fast. A few months back, I never would've trusted a woman this much. I don't know what I would do if something happened to her.'

The next day, Koga drove Kagome to work and went off to investigate that suspicious area in the outskirts of Tokyo where his brakes were tampered with.

Ginta met him there, and they took a walk around, surveying the area.

It was surprisingly quiet. Anyone who would pass through, would walk quickly, or run. Cars would even accelerate when passing by.

"I'm assuming this means there's a gang operating in this area."

"They must be dangerous. Look how frightened all these humans are."

They encountered a half demon girl nonchalantly passing through. She didn't seem concerned at all.

"Yo, kid." Koga called out to her.

She lazily pulled out her headphones. "Huh? A wolf demon?!" Her eyes widened.

"Do you know anything about the gang operating in this part of town?"

"Oh, yeah. They're a bunch of lowlife humans. They call themselves SBG."

"SBG?"

"Silverback Gorillas. Their leader is some deluded crackpot named Kuro. They only pick on mortals, and they mess with cars."

Koga raised an eyebrow and stroked his chin. "Why does that sound so familiar?" It suddenly dawned on him.

That group and their leader attempted to assault Kagome! His blood was boiling. He wanted to destroy them.

"Where can I find them?"

"Dunno. They have a hideout in one of these buildings. I've heard it's that one." She pointed to a condemned building across the street.

"Thanks for the info." Koga handed the girl $500 and a card with his number on it. "If you're ever in a bind, I'll repay you with a favor."

"For real?! Thanks! I gotta get to school. See you!" The girl tucked the money and card into her pocket and rushed off.

Koga turned to Ginta with a look of rage in his eyes.

Ginta's body stiffened. He recognized that look. "W-what's the plan?"

"Whaddya think? We call Hakkaku, get some wolves, and come back tonight."

"Sure thing..." Ginta expected Koga to be mad about his brakes, but this level of anger was different. Koga intended to cause serious harm.

They drove their cars to The Den and had some lunch.

Koga was silent, and his eyes were cold.

"H-hey, boss...what's on your mind?"

"Those scumbags tried to hurt Kagome, in a disgusting and unforgivable way."

"You mean they tried to ra—"

Koga glared at him sharply and Ginta gulped.

Koga sighed. "To this day, it still haunts her. She doesn't deserve to be plagued by this, while they're walking around freely, still harming other innocent people."

"So let's break their ankles!" Ginta said emphatically.

Speaking of Kagome, she was calling Koga as they discussed her.

"Hey, babygirl."

"Hi, babe! We're closing up early today. I was wondering if you were nearby."

"I'm at The Den, sweetie. You need a ride somewhere?"

"Can you take me and Sango to her house?"

"Of course. I'll be right there." He ended the call and turned to Ginta. "C'mon."

They greeted their girlfriends, and drove them to Sango's.

They stayed at Sango's house for awhile, then met up with Hakkaku, and drove to the woods to recruit the wildest wolves they could find.

They returned to the edge of town again, and didn't even have to bother searching for the members of SBG.

Koga parked the car close by and cracked his knuckles.

"Uh...Koga?"

"What?"

"Are we...gonna...kill anybody?"

Koga had already been mulling it over for hours. He told Kagome he never wanted to kill anyone again. What would she think of him if he killed more people, even if it was for her sake? Murder doesn't stop the nightmares anyway.

"No..." he finally responded, "but they'll wish we did."

They got out of the car, wolves following behind.

"Yo!" The leader, Kuro called out. "You got business here?"

"Are you Kuro?" Koga asked.

"Who's asking?"

Koga hated a smug bastard. He approached him and grabbed his neck. "Don't fucking answer my question with a question."

The wolves surrounded the group, snarling and drooling, ready to attack.

"Y-yeah, man. I'm Kuro. What's your fucking deal? What kinda business do wolf demons have with me?!"

Koga smirked, and slammed his head into the wall three times, leaving him unconscious, then proceeded to kick him repeatedly.

The wolves attacked the other members to prevent them from stopping Koga.

Ginta and Hakkaku looked on. "Should we stop him?" Ginta asked.

"Yeah. He'll kill him at this rate."

Ginta placed a hand on Koga's shoulder. "He's only a mortal. You'll kill him. That wasn't the plan, remember?"

Koga exhaled heavily and tossed Kuro's body.

"Hey! Let's go!" Hakkaku ordered the wolves.

"Whenever your leader wakes up, you tell him that your little gang is disbanded." He told the profusely bleeding members.

The men were all left for dead as they returned to Koga's car.

Hakkaku took the wheel, and Koga sat in the passenger's seat.

"Wait a sec."

Koga got back out and ripped Kuro's dog tag chain off his neck. There was a gorilla etched into it.

He got back in the car and Hakkaku drove off.

"Feel better, Koga? He got the beating he deserved!" Ginta said excitedly.

"I don't know how to feel. I can't take her pain away."

"But you've made it easier for her. I'm sure she's been uneasy, knowing they're still walking around the streets."

"That's true."

Hakkaku went home, and Ginta took over driving.

They arrived at Sango's house, and the girls answered the door in pink and blue silk robes.

Sango and Ginta stood in the entry way talking, and Kagome took Koga to the kitchen to show him the lingerie underneath.

He rubbed her side and kissed her neck. "Drop dead gorgeous, as usual."

She smiled with her usual blush kissed face.

"Babygirl. Can we talk for a minute?"

"Sure!"

The couple sat at the kitchen island.

"Remember the last time we sat here to talk?" He asked her.

"After...we talked about our feelings for each other?"

He nodded.

"I always wondered...why you took me to such an expensive restaurant the night before. You spent millions, just to take me out."

He chuckled. "Kagome, you asked me to have sex with you, and I know you. You're a delicate, innocent woman. Hooking up was never something I expected from you. I took it as your way of telling me you liked me, and I took you on a date, to tell you I liked you too."

"I was surprised. It was so expensive, and I was just an ordinary human girl, who was falling for one of the most powerful demons in Japan."

"No, you're anything but ordinary. I tell you all the time. You're my babygirl. You're entitled to my time, attention, love and protection."

Kagome blushed and grasped his hand.

"Babygirl...I saw those guys that tried to hurt you a few years back..."

Her eyes widened. "I knew they were still lurking around the city."

He placed the dog tag on the table. "They won't be a problem anymore. I beat their leader unconscious. I almost killed him."

Kagome's eyes began to water.

"You don't have to be afraid anymore. I—"

She leapt into his arms and sobbed. "I was afraid the whole time. Everyday I was worried they would just show up somewhere."

Koga held her tightly, pulling her into his lap. "Oh, babygirl. I told you—that's why I'm here."

Upstairs in Sango's room...

"...she told me a few weeks ago. I always knew something was different about her. I thought it was solely because of Inuyasha."

"Koga nearly killed the leader. Crimes against women enrage him. Especially because he couldn't protect his mother..."

Sango nodded. "I understand...wanting to protect your parents."

"I know, baby."

Back downstairs...

Kagome cried for awhile longer, letting out tears of relief and stress.

"You feel better?"

Kagome nodded. "I'm so relieved."

"You remember what I told you about the history of the wolf tribe, right? How my rank makes me royalty?"

"Mhm. You're the prince of wolves."

"That makes you a princess. You deserve to have all the things you need. You understand that, don't you?" He gently wiped away her tears.

"Yes."

"I wanna hear you say it. Say you deserve all the things you need."

"I-I deserve all the things I need."

He stroked her cheek. "That's my girl."

Kagome caught a glance of Koga's hand. It was covered in cuts and bruises.

"Let's go home."

He nodded. "Good idea."

Once the couple reached Koga's house, they sat down at the kitchen table.

"Did you eat dinner?"

He shook his head. "I didn't have much of an appetite."

"What about now? I can make you something."

He shook his head once more. "Thank you, baby. But I'd rather just...sleep."

"Me too."

The following morning, Koga made Kagome breakfast and headed to Hakkaku's house.

"Yuka, take the kids upstairs." He told his wife sternly.

She obliged and headed upstairs with the children.

Hakkaku gave Koga a serious look. "InuNo Taisho is dead."

"W-what?!"

"He was murdered by a staff member. He stuck a blade through his chest that was covered in poison."

Koga plopped onto the couch, rubbing his forehead. "I don't believe this."

"Doesn't this seem strange to you?"

"Hakkaku. You know better." He warned with a knowing glare.

"Y-yeah but—"

"But nothing, dammit! This has nothing to do with us. Don't look into it, don't question it, don't even think about it. We have our own affairs to be concerned with."

Hakkaku sighed. "Yes, boss."

"I'm going home. I'll see you Saturday."

Koga drove home and found Kagome in the foyer spending time talking to the wolves.

"Oh, sweetie, I don't understand." She said to the wolves as they spoke to her. "I'm human, I don't speak wolf."

Koga entered the foyer and knelt next to the wolves. "They were trying to con snacks out of you." He chuckled. "You fat bastards don't need any more treats."

Kagome giggled. "Well I didn't understand what they were trying to say to me."

"Kagome...InuNo Taisho was murdered by a member of his staff."

Her eyes widened in disbelief. "I-I can't believe it. He was a nice man. Unlike his son..."

"Since his father is dead, and he was exiled from the family, I can slit his throat now, if you want."

"No, he hasn't tried to contact me, or come by TFP. I think he gave up."

"Okay. I just want you to feel safe and happy."

"I am happy, Koga. But don't you think it would raise suspicions right now, if he dies right after his father?"

Koga stroked his chin. "That is something to consider."

Kagome nodded.

Koga glared at his wolves. "What the hell are you looking at? She's my woman, not a snack machine! I gave you breakfast. Go find something to do!"

The wolves whimpered and scurried off to their room.

"Aww. Koga!"

"What? They're big boys, but they'll walk all over you if you're too nice. And you've got a soft spot for Doki, so he'll try and get special treatment from you."

Kagome pouted.

"Don't make that face at me, babygirl. That's my ultimate weakness."

She giggled. "Baby, what are we doing today?"

Koga shrugged. "Fucking?"

"Koga!"

He laughed. "We need to go food shopping."

Kagome gasped. "Our first house errand together!"

"I'm glad you're excited."

The couple went food shopping, and returned home.

"I don't usually buy this much food. The fridge was pretty bare after the whole family was gone."

"Ginta said you would cook all the time."

"Yeah, I remember being 13, and cooking pretty often. That's what sparked my interest in culinary arts."

"You're the sweetest guy."

"I love my pack. I'll do anything for all of you."

Kagome smiled. After years of pain, she was blessed with the perfect man.

After they put away the groceries, Koga took Kagome to the bedroom.

He removed her pants and panties and slid his tongue inside her. She moaned as she grasped his head. Her body arched as he sucked her clit.

She was close to her orgasm when her phone rang.

"W-wait, Koga. That...might be important."

She grabbed her phone and answered quickly. "Hello? Yes, this is she...really?...Of course!...Thank you so much!...Yes! I'll read over it right away! Thank you again!...goodbye."

Kagome hung up her phone and shrieked excitedly. "I got invited to the Scarlet fashion show! My pieces will be in the same show as my favorite designer, Madame Gupta!"

"Babygirl, congratulations! You deserve this!"

"Thank you, baby! I have 3 weeks to select a few pieces, or design some if I need to."

"If you need anything from me, don't hesitate to ask."

"I...would like for you...to finish..." she suggested shyly with a blush.

He planted kisses on her inner thigh. "Oh, you didn't even need to ask for that, baby."
