"Y-Yoshio…" Tsutomu whispered. He had a feeble grip on his older brother's hand. "I-is d-dad gonna b-be okay?"

"..." Yoshio didn't know what to say. He couldn't even look at his younger brother, he knew that if he saw his eyes he'd start crying. He had to be strong. "He's…"

The paramedics were still inside of the house, getting his father… out. Yoshio squeezed Tsutomu's tiny hand. It was dark out, about 8 o'clock. The time didn't seem to stop the neighbors from going outside their homes and gawking.

"I… don't know what to say," Yoshio said honestly. Last time he saw his dad was when he moved out- well, more like stormed out. They fought, like usual, but the only difference this time was Yoshio being 18, so he just said fuck it. He packed his things and left.

"This… is this my fault…?" he began to feel tears running down his face. "God, Tsutomu… I'm so sorry…"

"What's going on..?" Tsutomu squeaked out, terrified and confused. "Yoshio, there was red stuff all over the bath… and he wouldn't wake up-"

Yoshio stopped him from saying anything else, bringing him into a tight hug. "Oh, Tsutomu… I'm so sorry…" he hugged his younger brother tighter. "Dad… d-dad won't be coming b-back."

"Wh-why-"

"Please," Yoshio interrupted. "Just… stop, okay? You'll… be with me now, okay?" he wiped his face and looked at his younger brother. There was blood on him. "We have to be strong." he said, wiping his little brother's face.

"St-strong?" Tsutomu said, confused. He looked back at the house. "Yoshio, w-what about dad-"

He stopped talking, and his face turned into an expression of concern and fear. Tears were welling up in his eyes.

"W-what are they doing with dad?" he said, pointing to the paramedics holding a stretcher.

A stretcher with the corpse of their dad.

"Cuh-" Yoshio coughed out in surprise and dread. He scooped his little brother up and turned him away from… that. "Don't look. Please, don't look.'' At this point, he started to tell that to himself. He felt like a coward, but what the hell was he supposed to do?

His scooter. Yoshio never saw Tsutomu happier then the day he got his license, and they rode all the way to the city.

The city.

"Let's go on a ride, huh?" Yoshio whispered. He was still crying. 'I should've been the one… no kid should see that. The fuck am I supposed to do…'

Tsutomu didn't speak, just gripped his older brother's jacket. He glanced at the house, and the paramedics, and… dad.

"Did dad die?"

Yoshio's eyes opened wide, and the tears came rushing. He collapsed on his knees.

"Tsutomu, I… I'm so sorry!" he sobbed. He hugged his little brother tight.

He would never let go. Never.

The highway was empty and the two of them were riding down at a steady pace. Yoshio used to take him on drives if he was having tantrums, and they always calmed him down. Tsutomu was perched in front of him, wearing his older brother's biker jacket.

'Seven year old kid seeing that…' Yoshio kept repeating the same lines in his head. His hands gripped the handlebars tighter. 'This is all my fault… I'm such a fucking coward. Why couldn't I just make up with dad?' his eyes went down to his younger brother.

His unruly white hair was going all over the place. His eyes were closed, head was against Yoshio's chest.

'He's my responsibility now,' Yoshio told himself, looking back towards the road. 'I will protect him.'

"Hey, Y-Yoshio..?" Tsutomu whispered, hand gripping his older brother's shirt.

"Yeah, Tsutomu?"

"Do you… think I can be a hero?"

Yoshio's eyes widened. "... yeah."

"But," Tsutomu started, sitting up and looking towards the city. "I couldn't… save dad..."

Yoshiro's teeth clenched. "Don't even begin to start thinking that." he said, a little more angrily than he wanted, which caused him to immediately curse himself. "Sorry, I… I'm sorry. I don't know what to say, just…"

He placed a hand on his little brother's head, holding him closer.

"Let's be quiet, alright?"

Yo, this is pretty cool, huh? Gonna try to get this done weekly. Let me know of any mistakes, thoughts, problems, etc, for I enjoy them.

Also, I know this isn't very "My Hero Academia", but it'll get there, I promise. Of course, I got my own problems, something about the emotions not being properly conveyed or something stupid, but it'll never be released because I'll rewrite it a million times, etc, etc.

So instead of me just being overly critical of my own work, I would appreciate it if one of my faithful readers would tell me if what I'm doing is stupid, point some problems out, all that jazz.

Also, also, thank you for reading! That weekly release thing is probably a lie btw, as stated, I constantly write and rewrite and nothing gets done.

ALSO ALSO ALSO, Izuku doesn't make an appearance. No spoilers, but I got some things cooking up for Katsuki and him, and it might make some of you send me a 6 paragraph DM about how I'm dumb for doing what I'm doing, but hey, fuck you too buddy.

A summary for those who don't wanna read that shit, send me criticism, tell me what's poo poo and what's good, I'm too dumb, me no like what I write, might take a long ass time to release, no Izuku, kill yourself if you tell me to kill myself over an anime character, etc.
