-The Holiday Hog's gift-

Winter can be hit or miss when you live in a seaside city.

Some years you get pleasant snow, others a light slush, or the dreaded frigid sea spray day and night.

This year the weather seemed to bless the city of Manta Bay with a healthy sprinkling of snow. The streets were covered with a few feet of white that seemed to add to the festive season.

Mammals of various species made their way through the city streets. Their arms were full of different brightly colored boxes and bags.

Kits and pups alike eagerly scurried about, barely able to contain their excitement during this time of year.

No school, snow forts, and the promise of presents were enough to make any kit add a little skip to their step.

The Manta Bay Central Mall was especially busy this time of year.

Shoppers filled the many stores and parking was at a premium. That though was of little deterrent to the citizens of the city.

With so many mammals making their way through the mall it was no surprise to see long lines at the food court and in a few of the shops.

One line, in particular, was oddly short this year though.

An ornate gold sign sat at the start of the line. The text was in bright red and surrounded by green holly.

Meet Santa!

As parents strolled by they would point eagerly at the sign, hoping to convince their child to hop into line and wait to meet a certain someone.

"I'm too old for that stuff!"

"That's for kits!"

"Noooooooo!"

All the protests were picked up by a pair of brown ears which looked as if their tips had been dunked in black paint.

A certain brown trouble maker waited patiently as she rolled on the balls of her feet.

You'll be sorry.

The doe had a smug smile on her lips as she heard the various kits her age make up some excuse that let them avoid waiting in line for the festive tradition.

"You promise you will behave this time?" Came a firm voice next to Trisha.

The bunny blinked a few times before looking up at her mother and putting on her best innocent smile.

"Why mother, whatever do you-"

"No hostage negotiations," Peggy said, her eyelids already drooping.

"What are you talking about?"

"And no threats of booby traps."

"That was just a joke."

"And no going for the beard."

"Ok that one had it coming, he was obviously an imposter and needed to be exposed, remember the real Santa left me that letter saying he was grateful for my efforts."

"How could I forget?" Trisha's mother scoffed but smiled down at her daughter none the less.

Every few minutes the line would move and they would take a few steps forward.

One by one kits were led into a small makeshift North Pole Workshop to meet the big mammal himself.

Occasionally Trisha would heard a frightened yelp or maybe a younger kit crying which was normal this time of year.

Eventually, it was Trisha's turn.

A lovely looking reindeer approached wearing a bright green elf suit and hat.

"Welcome to the….oh…" the reindeer said when her eyes fell on Trisha.

Peggy gave a weak smile.

"I have already disarmed her and searched for secondary weapons," The older doe said as she opened her purse and lifted up what appeared to be a nerf gun.

"Nothing up the sleeves?" The reindeer asked hesitantly.

Trisha rolled up the sleeves of her blue hoody and smiled innocently which didn't fool either of the ladies present.

The elf let out a sigh as she looked over her shoulder and then down at the small brown bunny before her.

"Promise to go easy on this one? He is new and I don't need him scared off like the others."

"Why Jessica I don't have the faintest idea what you are talking about," Trisha said as she casually strolled onto a lush red carpet that led into the workshop.

"I will be in earshot," Peggy said firmly. "And you know I am a pretty good aim, young lady."

Peggy patted her purse to get the point across before strolling over to stand with the reindeer who looked rather nervous.

Trisha poked her head into the Workshop and beamed at a mammal sitting in a large red cushioned chair.

She was about to speak but closed her mouth as she studied the odd creature before her.

Trisha was smart and had learned a while ago that to protect his true identity Santa employed mammals to help him during the holidays. She thought she had met the real one a few years ago but she wasn't sure.

The others had obviously all just worked for Santa and were reporting back to the big guy at the North Pole.

Something this year seemed different though.

The large hog sitting in the Christmas chair had a rather mischievous smile on his large muzzle.

His tusks seemed worn but polished at the same time and his suit was truly the best Trisha had ever seen.

The crimson fabric looked warm and inviting and the white accents looked just as bright as the snow currently falling from the sky outside.

"Well hello little one," The boar said with a deep tone as he patted his lap. "No need to be afraid."

"Just studying my opponent," Trisha said as she stepped towards the large boar.

The mammal in red let out a jolly laugh that made his mass shift slightly.

"I have been looking forward to this meeting," The hog said happily, a twinkle appearing in his eye.

"Really?" Trisha asked, stopping mid-step and tilting her head.

The boar simply nodded slowly and gave his lap another pat.

Trisha did as she was instructed and hopped up, landing right in the large mammal's lap.

She felt a gentle hoof on her back and immediately a warm feeling washed over her.

It reminded her of sitting on her father's lap. She felt so comfortable and safe at the same time.

"So Trisha, I have been keeping track of your deeds over the years," The boar began.

"I am well aware of your spy network," Trisha said proudly. "And I have managed to evade them so their reports may not be-"

"You have proven you are a mammal of true merit."

"Wait what?" Trisha asked, looking shocked.

"Raising money for your friend's train tickets, befriending a fox in need, and showing him he belonged, oh and let's not forget how you stood up to Sarah's bullies."

"S...Santa?" Trisha asked, her eyes starting to water.

It was really him! It had to be! Who else knew so much about her?

"That is one of my names," The hog said with a friendly smile. "I also go by the Holiday Hog, Hog Noel, Kris Hog, the list goes on and on."

Trisha was spellbound at the moment and could only nod as she listened to the mammal whose lap she currently occupied.

"Anyways," The hog said as he leaned over the armrest of the chair and reached into a large green bag that Trisha could have sworn was not there when she arrived. "I have a special gift for you."

Trisha sat up a little straighter.

While she normally expected gift from Santa she had always received them on Christmas day and not necessarily during her initial negotiations with one of his pawns.

The hog found what he was looking for and pulled his hoof out of the large green sack.

Trisha blinked a few times as a small object was held right in front of her.

It was a miniature lighthouse with white and blue strips running up its sides.

The bunny blinked a few times as she studied the model.

It had a small wind up handle on one side and looked like it even had a mini light bulb on the top.

The doe reached out and took the object, smiling happily as she turned it over in her paws.

"It looks so realistic," The doe whispered happily. She then looked up into the Holiday Hogs' eyes, her own watering. "Thank you so much Double H."

"Oh I like that name," the hog chuckled.

"I really like this gift," Trisha said excitedly as she looked back at the lighthouse.

"I know you were going to ask to see your friends for Christmas as your gift this year," The hog said which made Trisha giggle.

It is really him! How else would he know what my list was?

"This gift will help you with that wish," The hog said as he gave Trisha a pat on the back.

"How?" Trisha asked, tilting her head, her limp ears falling to one side.

"When you get home dress for heavy snow and then wind the lighthouse," the hog said cryptically.

"Oh, ok," Trisha said, still looking confused.

"Now that I have done this for you I have one thing to ask of you."

Trisha looked up excitedly, wondering what she could do for such a wondrous being.

The hog reached down and gently ran a hoof over Trisha's limp ears before giving her cheek a gentle pat, "Don't change."

"Can you say that in front of my mom?" Trisha asked happily.

The hog let out a roar of laughter and his belly jiggled as he patted Trisha on the back.

"I can't wait to hear about your adventures next time we meet," The hog said with a tear of laughter in his eyes.

"Same time next year?" Trisha asked as she wiggled in place.

"Sadly it won't be until you move to Zootopia."

"Wait what?!"

The hog simply smiled and gave the small doe a wink, signaling his lips were sealed.

Trisha had so many more questions but at that moment her mother arrived and beamed at what she saw.

"Oh wow, Trisha he hasn't run away," the doe teased as she held up a camera.

"Oh no not yet," The hog responded. "Would hard to outrun the Pumpkin Queen anyways."

Trisha's heart raced as she beamed up at the holiday hog.

Peggy didn't seem to mind that Trisha wasn't looking her way. The look of pure admiration and joy on the young doe's face as she looked up at the Holiday Hog made for an excellent picture.

It took another hour or two for Peggy and Trisha to finally make it home.

Trisha's mother needed to pick up some presents in some of the shops and they even grabbed some food at the food court.

The young bunny seemed uncharacteristically pensive during their drive back to their home in the suburbs. Her bright blue eyes staring at the small lighthouse she kept cupped in her paws.

When they finally made it home Trisha dashed to her room, the Holiday Hog's words still echoing in her head.

When you get home dress for heavy snow and then wind the lighthouse.

The bunny darted into her closet and found her jacket and some warm weather wraps for her feet. She bundled up in her outfit and waddled over to the lighthouse she had placed on her desk.

She looked at her room door, making sure it was closed before grabbing the small lighthouse model.

With a shaking paw, she reached out and wound the small handle on the side of the lighthouse.

A small bell chimed inside the lighthouse and a miniature flag popped out of the top that had a single world written in bright green.

Zootopia

Several odd ringing and grinding noises started to emanate from the lighthouse as the miniature light on top flashed a few times.

The light began to flash faster and faster.

As it did the room around Trisha seemed to spin and her ears filled with the sound of swirling air and wind.

She felt herself grow dizzy and wobble in place as she watched the lighthouse light flash so fast it looked like it was just one continuous light.

And then-

-Meanwhile in Zootopia-

Nick ducked as another volley of snowballs flew his way.

He let out an annoyed grunt as he hid behind a park bench.

"This isn't exactly fair!" Came a shout from a light post just a few feet from Nick's position.

The young fox looked over his shoulder to see a young painted dog doing her best to hide behind the frosted metal pole of the lamp post.

A snowball impacted the metal and exploded in a puff of white, some of it falling on the painted dog's muzzle.

"Don't think they really care about what's fair Copper," Nick shouted back to his friend.

While Nick wouldn't have minded a friendly snowball fight he didn't exactly enjoy being ambushed by a gang of mammals who started pummeling the two unsuspecting canines as they made their way through one of the parks in Zootopia.

Copper and Nick had been minding their business when the first volley came out of nowhere.

After driving for cover they had been pinned down as snowballs came at them from a fortified snow fort on the other side of the walking path.

"Come on out Nick! Got a snowball with your name on it!" Came a smug shout from one of Nick's classmates.

The fox growled as he leaned over the park bench only to duck as three or four snowballs flew through the air.

He reached down and started to scoop some snow into a small ball but knew it was a futile effort.

They were outnumbered and outgunned.

What he wouldn't give for a little-

"Ahhhhhhhhh!"

*Thud*

At first, Nick thought he had been hit with a very large snowball from above.

The thing is snowballs didn't scream like that. Nor were they this large and clingy.

"What the?!" Nick let out as he felt something fall on his back, causing him to faceplant into the snow.

"That was fun!" Came a familiar voice on top of the fox.

"Trisha?!" Nick let out in a surprised yelp as he turned over in the snow.

He looked up and saw a pair of brilliant blue eyes shimmering down at him.

"Nick!" Trisha yelled happily as she leaned down and wrapped her arms around her snow-covered friend. "Oh my gosh, this is amazing!"

"Trisha?! Where did you come from?" Came a shout from the light post.

"Depends, if you ask my brother's they say I'm from outer space," Trisha said happily as she scrambled off of Nick.

She stood up and beamed down at the young tod as she held out a paw.

"I didn't know you were visiting Zootopia," Nick said as he took his friend's paw and was helped up.

"Neither did I."

"When did you get into the city?'

"Just now," Trisha said with a giggle.

Her expression changed though when a snowball whizzed between her ears.

The doe immediately took cover and looked from Nick to Copper.

"What did I land into?"

"We were ambushed by some bullies from school," Copper growled before peaking around the lampost. "Who aren't playing fair!"

A snowball nearly hit the canine who did her best to hide behind the post once more.

Trisha had a mischievous grin grace her lips as she looked at Nick.

The fox knew that grin and also knew that while small Trisha had a wicked aim.

Without saying a word the fox and bunny began to hurriedly pack snow between their paws. Creating a small stockpile of snowballs.

"First we need to regroup our forces," Trisha said as she glanced over at Copper. "When we start throwing you dive over here."

"Yes Pumpkin Queen," Copper said excitedly as she prepared for her mad dash.

Trisha then looked back at Nick and then to the small pile of snowballs they had managed to make.

"Just throw like crazy, we don't need to hit them we just need to keep them down so our soldier can return."

Nick smirked and gave the bunny a salute.

Trisha held up her paw and counted down from 3.

On zero both she and Nick stood up and began to love snowballs wildly at the snow fort across the path.

A badger and zebra who had been eagerly waiting both looked stunned as a flurry of snowballs came their way.

The badger managed to duck but the zebra took two snowballs to the face before falling over.

Copper made a mad dash towards the park bench and dove for cover. The painted mammal landed in the snow just beside Trisha and Nick, an eager grin on her face.

"Mind making ammo for Nick and me?" Trisha asked Copper who nodded, her rounded ears flopping from the holes in her winter cap.

While they were still outnumbered they weren't exactly outgunned anymore.

Copper was a snowball making machine and managed to make a pile of ammo in seconds.

Nick and Trisha could now focus on their attack and attack they did.

Whenever a head poked out of the snow fort it was immediately hit with a snowball.

Trisha laughed maniacally as she managed to hit one mammal so hard they nearly did a flip.

"I thought you city kits would've been harder to fight," Trisha said as she took cover and filled her arms with more snowballs.

"We don't have the Manta Bay snow wars you all have," Nick pointed out.

"Wait you have whole snowball wars?" Copper asked excitedly.

"Yes, next year convince your parents to send you over. You can sleep at my house," Trisha said eagerly. "I'm always looking for new recruits in the Pumpkin Queen snow division."

Nick and Trisha nodded at one another once more before standing up from cover and taking aim.

Much to their surprise, no targets were in sight at first.

Movement to their right caught Trisha's attention and she grinned evilly as she watched several young mammals hurry away. All of them covered in a layer of snow.

Trisha dropped all but one of the snowballs from her arms and took aim, closing one of her arms as her ears raised up.

"Watch this," Nick chuckled as he leaned against the park bench.

Trisha took in a deep breath and with a step forward lobbed the snowball high into the air.

The three friends watched and waited until they spotted Trisha's snowball slowly descend from up high.

It landed just a foot away from a woodchuck who let out a yelp and tried to catch up with the rest of his retreating friends.

Trisha snapped her digits together and pouted at the miss.

"That was actually really close," Copper said with a confident nod.

"Not bad Pumpkin Queen," Nick joined in.

"Should have rounded it out a little more before I let it fly," Trisha grumbled as she looked up at the sky and then back at the spot her snowball had just landed.

"So care to explain what exactly you are doing in Zootopia?" Nick asked, bringing up a very valid question.

"Oh I uhhh...well.." Trisha said as she tried to figure out how to explain what had happened without sounding too crazy. "Well I got a gift from the Holiday Hog and it sent me here."

Two pairs of confused looks told Trisha she had to explain a little more than that.

The doe tried to think of what to say as she patted her sides.

She felt something firm in one of her side pockets and tilted her head.

The bunny reached inside her jacket and moments later produced the small lighthouse miniature.

Nick and Copper looked at the toy and then at one another before looking at Trisha in curiosity.

"I wound it up and it brought me here," Trisha tried to explain.

Copper raised a brow and looked unbelievingly down at the doe.

"Uhhhh...that's...imaginative," The painted dog said as she folded her arms.

"It's the truth!" Trisha explained as she reached down and grabbed the small lighthouse handle. "I wound it up and then-"

To prove her point Trisha gave the small handle a turn and heard a bell chime.

Another little flag popped out of the top, this one with bright orange writing.

BunnyBurrow

"Wait! Not yet!" Trisha said, trying to stop the winder as it started to spin.

A gust of cold air began to swirl around Trisha and the doe panicked as she tried her best to stop what was coming next.

"Trisha!" Both Copper and Nick let out as they stepped forward and tried to grab their friend.

Trisha tried to reach out but there was a kind of invisible barrier between her and the two pups.

She did however manage to grab onto Nick's dark green scarf.

"I'll tell Judy you say Hi!" Trisha said, looking a little worried but also excited.

The light on the miniature lighthouse flashed rapidly before letting out a blinding flash and then-

-Meanwhile in BunnyBurrow-

"Judy I don't think this is a good idea," Sarah said nervously as she looked straight ahead.

"Oh come on Sarah, where is your sense of adventure?" Judy responded as she wiggled in place behind her sister.

The two bunny siblings currently found themselves atop the steepest hill overlooking their family farm.

A recent snowstorm had covered the Tri Burrow area with a healthy layer of fresh powder that was a kit's dream come true when it came to sledding.

Sarah and Judy had spent the last 10 minutes hiking up the steep slope, dragging a wooden sled behind them.

The thought of speeding down the snow covered hill was just too good to pass up….at first.

As Judy shifted behind her younger sister the sled leaned forward, showing the two young does just how steep the hill actually was.

All sense of adventure began to disappear from Judy's mind as she realized there may have been a reason none of her older siblings had braved this slope yet.

"On second thought….maybe the next hill over," Judy suggested as Sarah nodded rapidly.

"Good idea sis," Sarah said as she started to scoot back until she was leaning against her older sister.

"Nice and easy now," Jiffy mumbled as the two started to scoot the sled back.

"Oh gosh not again!" Came a shout from somewhere above them.

Sarah and Judy looked up just in time to see another bunny bundled in a blue snowsuit fall from somewhere up above.

"What the?!"

"Ack!"

*Thud*

The new arrival landed right on top of Sarah and Judy, causing all three of them to be pressed onto the sled in a heap.

"What's the big idea?!" Judy barked.

"You're squishing me!" Sarah chimed in.

"Pumpkins aren't built for flying ok?" Trisha spat back defensively.

"Trisha?!" Both Sarah and Judy said in unison as they tried to get up on the sled.

"What are….oh no…" Sarah began.

"What?" Judy and Trisha joined in.

The sled slowly tilted forward and before any of the young does could do anything, they were off.

-Meanwhile on the porch of the Hopp's Family farmhouse-

Stu's ears perked up as he sat on the porch swing, his lovely wife curled up next to him as they watched some of the younger kits in the front yard construct a snow mammal.

"Do you hear that Bon?" Stu asked as he looked out across the crops. "Sounds like screams."

"Just the wind dear," Bonnie said sweetly as she patted her husband on the stomach.

-Back on the sled of doom-

"AHHHHHHHHH!"

All three girls were holding onto the sled and one another as they shot down the slope. Their screams mixing into one loud sound that echoed across the frozen farmland.

"I wanna get off! I wanna get off!" Sarah yelped as she covered her eyes.

"Too fast! Too fast!" Judy joined in.

"I'm gonna hurl!" Trisha added.

When the hill finally leveled out the sled shot through the air for a few feet before landing in a snowbank with a loud crunch.

Had someone walked by they would have seen a rather amusing sight.

A pair of legs sticking out of the snow at one part, an arm at another, and then a pair of thick black-tipped ears in the center of it all.

Slowly and steadily the survivors of the great sled crash stirred. Each of them groaning and grunting as they dug themselves out of the snow.

"Whose bright idea was that again?" Trisha groaned.

"You were the one who pushed us," Sarah pointed out.

"Technically I fell," Trisha said smugly as she sat in the snow and grinned at Sarah.

The multi-colored doe was about to say something before blinking rapidly as a realization crossed her adorable face.

"Trisha!" Sarah let out as she dove through the air and wrapped her arms around her friend from Manta Bay. "What are you even doing here?"

"Just thought I would drop in," Trisha said playfully.

Judy's head popped out of the snowbank and she looked around in concern, snow falling from the top of her head.

She spotted her sister and friend and a look of relief came over her when she was sure they were both alright.

It took her a moment or two to process what she was seeing.

Sarah was nuzzling into Trisha and laughing happily.

While this was a cute sight it was completely unexpected. Especially since Trisha lived nowhere near Bunnyburrow and no one had been expecting her arrival to the quaint farm town.

Trisha beamed over at Judy and lifted up her free arm.

Judy rolled her eyes and crawled over to her friend in the snow, hugging her brown bubbly friend.

After a moment or two, the three does helped one another out of the snow.

The sled was a little harder though.

It took all three of them pulling at the straps to finally pull the old wooden sled from its buried hiding place.

All of this took some effort though so when they finally did have the sled free they needed to sit down.

Sarah busied herself with brushing some loose snow off the sled while Judy looked over at Trisha, an unbelieving smirk on her lips.

"Seriously did your mom bring you?"

"Nope," Trisha said as she rolled on the balls of her large feet.

Judy let out a sigh and shivered slightly, her time in the snow having taken its toll.

"Oh I have something for you," Trisha said excitedly as she reached into her pocket.

She pulled out the scarf she had "borrowed" from Nick and untangled it. There was a thud in the snow and the two looked down at the small lighthouse miniature that sat at an odd angle on the snowy ground.

"What's that?" Sarah asked as she looked up from the sled.

"That's my ride," Trisha said playfully as she stepped over to Judy and wrapped the scarf around the doe's neck.

Judy beamed before her nostrils started to twitch. A dazed look came over the bunny and she closed her eyes as she took in a deep breath.

"Why does it smell like Nick?"

"Because it's Nick's scarf, borrowed it from him just now," Trisha said casually.

Judy's eyes popped open and her ears went up.

"It's...really his?" Judy asked, blushing furiously.

Trisha nodded as a smug smile appeared on her own lips.

The smile however vanished when she heard a bell chime.

She looked over at the source of the noise and saw Sarah who was now holding the small lighthouse model.

A flag popped out of the top with bright blue text.

Manta Bay.

"Oh darn," Trisha said as her ears drooped and the wind suddenly picked up.

"What's happening?" Sarah asked in a frightened manner.

Judy looked around and had to cover her face as the snow began to swirl all around them.

"Heading home I guess," Trisha said calmly as she strolled over and plucked the small lighthouse figure from Sarah's paw. "Since your sister got a present I think it's only fair you get one too."

With that, Trisha leaned forward and planted a tender kiss on Sarah's cheek.

Sarah's eyes went wide and the doe blushed at the thoughtful gesture.

"Do you have to leave so soon?" Judy asked a little upset her friend was departing already.

"Last I checked Atom and I raised money for you two to have train tickets all year round," Trisha said as she put a paw on her hip. "Use them!"

Sarah and Judy laughed at their friend's comment as a small flashing light flickered from the lighthouse in Trisha's paw.

The light seemed to blink faster and faster until there was a blinding flash and-

-Manta Bay Trainstation, a few days later-

"I'm telling you it took me to see Nick and Judy!" Trisha blurted out for what must have been the tenth time.

Two pairs of unbelieving eyes looked down at Trisha who began to stomp her large feet.

"I mean maybe it was a dream?" Emily suggested as she gave her friend a weak smile.

"I guess it could have happened," Delta responded unbelievingly.

"Ladies I am so sorry," Came a loud voice from just behind them.

All three of the young mammals turned to look at an amusing scene unfolding.

There was a long line of ladies all dressed up in various holiday apparel. All of them looking rather upset as a female painted dog waved at the head of the line.

"I have to get my son home though, his sister is in the school pageant and she wants him there," Atom's mother announced which was met by a collective sigh of disappointment from the many ladies who had gathered on the platform.

Atom looked just as upset as he stood next to a large A-frame sign that read:

Atom's Holiday hug specials!

2 hugs for price of 1.

"Just a few more please?" Came a plead from a lovely wolf in a Christmas sweater.

"Yes please!" A tigress asked.

"It's Christmas!"

Atom's mother rolled her eyes and looked down at her son who put his paws together in a pleading manner.

"Fine….5 more minutes!"

Atom bounced up and down and waved his arms about as he hurried down the line of ladies who had gathered, giving them each a hug around the waist and snorting happily as his tail wagged from side to side.

Half n hour later Trisha finally made it home.

She waved goodbye to her friends still in Atom's mother's car as it drove off.

Once inside her home, she skipped through the hallway and towards the kitchen where her mother was busy baking some sweet-smelling treats.

"Lots of mail today," Peggy said as she nodded at a small pile of envelopes addressed to Trisha.

The bunny scampered over to the kitchen table and took a seat as she flipped through the various cards.

Her mother strolled behind her and planted a gentle kiss between Trisha's ears before placing a plate with a few cookies on it in front of the young bunny.

Trisha happily munched on a cookie in the shape of a jack o lantern before nearly coughing it all back up.

"Are you ok sweetie?" Peggy asked as she hurried over and patted her daughter on the back.

Trisha however was too busy pointing a picture she had just pulled from one of the envelopes from BunnyBurrow.

Peggy looked at her daughter and then to the picture and smiled.

"Awww, such a sweet picture of Sarah and Judy," Peggy said as she tilted her head.

"The scarf!" Trisha nearly shouted.

Peggy almost jumped in surprise at her daughter's reaction.

"The scarf?"

"That's Nick's scarf!" Trisha said excitedly, nearly jumping up onto the table.

"Aww, when did he give it to her?"

"He didn't mom! Don't you see? I did!"

Peggy rolled her eyes and simply smiled, patting her bun on the top of the head before strolling back to the oven to check on the next batch of cookies.

Trisha stared at the picture and wiggled in place, a bright smile gracing her lips.

When she finally read the letter the picture had come with she wanted to call Emily and Delta to rub it in their faces.

Trisha,

Thanks for bringing me Nick's scarf. Sarah and I loved seeing you even if it was just for a moment.

See you soon

Love,

Judy
