May is sitting at her desk when a call comes in. She connects to the call.

"9-1-1, where is your emergency?"

The line stays quiet.

"Hello?" May asks.

There still isn't an answer. She starts tracking the call. "Is anyone there? Are you in trouble and can't speak?"

The call ends just as May gets the address. She starts to dispatch fire and police. "Station 118 fire and EMS, unit 727-L30, respond to 13397 Azores Avenue for a 9-1-1 hang-up."

...

The 118 arrives at the house of the 9-1-1 hang-up call just as Athena pulls up. They all get out and walk to the door. Bobby knocks on the door and a woman opens up.

"Can I help you?" the woman asks.

"We received a 9-1-1 call from this residence. We were just checking up to make sure everything was okay."

"We didn't call 9-1-1."

"Are you here alone?"

"No. It's me and my husband. My daughter has already left for the night."

"Do you mind if we come in, just to make sure everything is alright?

"Of course."

Athena and Bobby go into the house and look around. It's just the husband and wife inside and everything seems fine.

"Thank you for your time," Bobby says to the woman. "I'm sorry to bother you."

"It's better to be safe than sorry."

"Have a good evening."

They leave the house and start walking back to the truck.

"Pst," someone calls from close by.

Chimney looks up and sees Olivia Allen, a teenage girl in a prom dress, hiding behind a car.

"Over here."

Chimney starts walking to her. Everyone follows.

"I called you guys."

"Is everything okay?" Chimney asks.

"No. My boyfriend and I... we were... you know. He went to zip up his pants and..."

She stops. Chimney waits for her to continue.

"It got stuck."

"It?" Chimney asks, not completely sure of what she's talking about.

"You know."

She looks down. They get it.

"We tried to get it out, but it's really hurting him."

"Where is he?"

"In here."

She opens the door to her boyfriend, David Flores, sitting in the back seat hunched over.

"I'm Howie. I'm a fireman with the 118. "

"I can't get it out," David says desperately.

"We can try, but it might hurt."

"Please don't cut it off," David pleads.

"We're not going to cut it off."

Chimney and Eddie get in the car to help out. Everyone else stands outside of the car waiting.

"You're not going to tell my parents, are you?" Olivia asks Hen. "They'd kill me if they found out what we were doing."

"No, we're not going to tell them. Though I think they might figure it out when he goes to the hospital instead of prom."

"We're going to miss prom? This is the worst night ever."

In the car, Chimney and Eddie are about to try to resolve the problem. "One, two, three."

At the count of three, David lets out a loud yell. There's no doubt they freed him.

...

The crew is sitting around eating dinner, laughing about the previous call.

"In all my years on the fire department, I've never seen that," Bobby laughs.

"You can laugh because it didn't happen to you," Hen says.

"I wouldn't call 9-1-1 if I got my junk stuck in my zipper," Buck boasts. "I'd rip that sucker out myself."

Buck's words run back through his head. "Not that I would get it stuck in the first place."

Everyone rolls their eyes and shakes their heads.

Just then, Buck's phone rings. "I've got to take this."

He gets up and answers his phone. "Hey, Robert. Thanks for calling me back."

Buck walks down the steps, away from everyone's listening ears.

"Who's Robert?" Chimney asks.

"No idea." Bobby avoids eye contact. He knows who Robert is, but he isn't going to say.

Everyone continues eating while trying to listen to Buck's conversation. Bobby notices, so he starts clinking his cutlery and dishes to cover up what Buck is saying.

...

Prom is in full swing. Kids are dancing and having a good time. Reed, Harley, Grayson and Mateo are dancing with their dates, Layla Earle, Sydney Fuller, Willow Campbell, and Reagan Sellars. Reed pulls a flask out of his pocket and passes it around, and the kids all take a swig.

"Let's get out of here," Reagan says.

The kids grab their jackets and purses and leave.

The group all piles into Reed's small car. It only holds 5, so some of the girls have to sit on their boyfriend's laps. Reed gets behind the wheel and peels out of the parking lot, speeding down the road.

...

The kids have driven up to Griffith Park. They are surrounded by bottles of alcohol, most of them empty. They're loud and having a good time. A few of the couples are making out.

Mateo pulls away from Reagan. "I want tacos."

Everyone agrees. Reed grabs his keys and everyone walks toward the car.

Grayson stops Reed. "What are you doing?"

"We're going to get tacos."

"You can't drive."

"Oh sheesh. Not this again." Reed huffs. "Quit being such a killjoy and do something rebellious for once in your life. I'm fine to drive."

Reed stumbles as he turns around to walk to the car. Grayson catches him. "No, you're not."

Reed gets in Grayson's face. "Either get in the car or walk home."

Reed gets in the car and everyone follows. Grayson hesitates. He knows he should never get in a car with a drunk driver, but he doesn't want Willow to think he's a loser. He shakes his head then decides to get in the car. Reed peels away, speeding down the road.

...

Reed is driving down the hill, going at least double the speed limit. He's driving recklessly, passing people left and right, almost hitting multiple cars. Everyone in the car is laughing and having fun. Reed starts to pass another car while going around a curve. As they come around the curve, another car is coming the opposite direction. Reed doesn't register what is happening until the last minute. The cars collide.
