Laxus Dreyar is repenting. Working to earn forgiveness from himself, his grandfather, and his ex-guildmates. Cassie Haynes is a wanderer. A drifter. She travels from town to town, never staying long enough to put down any permanent roots. Both of them have one thing in common. Neither have a home to go back to.

Hiya! Welcome to Momentary Partners!

I don't wanna write this before every chapter, so I figured I would write it once and be done with it.

You ready? Ok.

I do not own the Fairy Tail universe, it's characters, or the plot line.

I only own Cassie, and her plot. I would appreciate it if you do not steal any of it. Not that I believe that any of you would, I'm sure you're all wonderful human beings, but better safe than sorry right?

That and I've seen this before a bunch of stories and figured this is what you're supposed to do...

Moving away from my blatant ignorance, I'm letting you know, up front, that this is just a relaxing side project. A fun activity for me to do. There most likely will not be a steady updating schedule. It will be pretty sporadic. Just a heads up.

I would love to hear your thoughts about the story (and Cassie) so feel free to comment! However, please don't comment about wanting an update or more chapters. I get that you want them. I want them to. But telling me to update isn't going to make me want to write. Deadlines don't encourage creativity for me. In fact, it makes me less inclined to write.

Now that all the boring stuff that the majority of you probably won't read is over, let's get on with the story yeah?
