Comment: I don't think you guys want another rant about how awfully displaced and not-at-all-realistic and unlogical the finale was, so I'll keep it to a minimum. I myself was quite shocked, as it kinda damaged the entire series for me. It'll be some time before I'll be able to enjoy it again :') Anyway, I will continue this fic until we have 111 chapters, as I always planned, and I will write it as if we hadn't watched the finale (I will, for example, keep on imagining B/R didn't divorce after three years) — this chapter is an excellent example, as it is the last one I wrote before watching the finale. I hope you'll enjoy it :) Thanks for all the comments, favourites and follows I got the last few months! You guys are the best. And thanks especially to bikelock28 for encouraging me to continue :)
Kissing him feels like coming home, and it makes her tear up a little when he hugs her to his chest, breathing her in.
"I'm scared," she whispers shakily, her shoes heavy in her hand.
"You're not the only one," he admits, grinning shyly, his grip on her getting a bit firmer. "Remind me, why did we agree to do this again?"
She smiles a bit, thinking how good and familiar and comforting he smells.
"I did because I love you with everything I got," she simply says, and she realises that those are the truest words she's ever spoken.
