Comment: Guys, I'm back with a little new chapter! Thank you for being so patient and still coming back to this story. I promise I'll try to update again soon! The title of this chapter is an allusion to Taylor Swift's "Blank Space" - I recently found out she never sang about Starbucks lovers, but oh well. I'll still pretend it's an actual lyric! :D Have fun reading and I hope you enjoy! x

Robin liked it in the city when summer drifted into autumn, so often she'd walk home from work, her heels clicking rhythmically on the pavement, her face exposed to the October sun.

Today though, it was absolutely bucketing down, so she caught a cab. She sighed in exhaustion. It was one of those caramel-latte-and-(maybe)-chocolate-fudge-cake-days, but because of the rain, she couldn't stop by her regular Starbucks.

Scenes of the past few weeks ran through her head. Becky, carrots and peas, Max, Jessica Glitter, Lily and her 'future foetus'. Robin had to bite her tongue to not start crying (out of anger or sadness, she couldn't tell). It really was as if the city was trying to reject her like a bad organ transplant.

When she finally got into her building, she took of her heels to climb the stairs. She just wanted to shower and go to bed.

At the apartment door, she had to stop to not trip over something.

It was a Starbucks cake box and a cup smelling of caramel.

Call me after work if you had a bad day (or a good day). Enjoy the cake. B x

It was chocolate fudge.

Today was a good day.
